Review and analyze now for company Plumbing Tree and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''One of the best home service companies I have ever seen. I called Plumbing Tree about fixing a leak in my sprinkler irrigation system that had been slowly leaking for a while and running up my water bill.
They came out promptly and capped the leaking line even though they couldn't perform the full fix right then, just to stop the leak and ease my mind. The next day, a tech came who was friendly, professional, and competent and did a wonderful job.
Highly recommend! Their technician came as planned and I was quoted $950 to change a faucet and two valves, when he removed the old valves he ran into so issues with fitting the new valves and wanted to add $400 for fixing that. Last time I changed a faucet I paid $200 total.
I have no issues with the technician, but the pricing by the company was way too high. In the end the tech left without completing the job and we had to turn off the water.
Now I have to contact another plumbing company. On top of everything they contacted me later and asked for $79 for the quote.
If you're looking for good quality, reliability, good communication, and a piece of mind then I definitely recommend this company! Note to self, do not put citrus peels down the garbage disposal. Well I did this and I clogged our drain line.
Fortunately for me Gilbert at Plumbing Tree came to save the day. I called today and they sent someone out the same day.
Gilbert was super professional as he explained the scope of work and possible outcomes. Fortunately it was only a clog and didn't require additional piping work.
Now my drain works perfectly, thank you! While the work was expensive, their quality, expertise and professionalism was worth every penny. For any future plumbing needs, I'll be calling Plumbing Tree first.
My office manager called Plumbing Tree to address a clogged drain in our industrial workers' bathroom. This is an event that occurs every 2-3 years due to hand cleaner buildup in the drain line.
I was out on vacation at the time, so had to rely on my staff to manage the problem. The plumber came, and was unable to clear the line.
Came back the following day, and was still unable to clear the line. They called me with a proposal to jackhammer up the floor and replace underground cast iron piping for $4,000.
The funny thing is that we had replaced that entire line years ago with all ABS plastic. He insisted that it was cast iron until I let him know it was replaced, and he insisted that still the only way to clear the line was to jackhammer and replace piping for $4,000.
I said no. They charged $703 for 2.5 hours of work, which I questioned.
They said that it was a day's minimum charge, whether they worked 2 hours or 8 hours. Unbelievable.
I had to pay it because I'm out of the country and was not in control of the promises made or charges OK'd by my staff. I let him know that I felt very cheated.
So, $703 "down the drain" and a drain that still doesn't go down. I found another plumber on Yelp, and they came out the following day.
30 minutes later, $225 later, and the drain is clear and functioning normally. BTW, somewhere in the earlier stages of his attempts to clear the line, the technician told my office manager that we would have to pay $250 to camera the line in order for them to warranty their work.
When he couldn't clear the line, he wanted to camera it anyway, but didn't even have a camera on the truck to use. Hmm....
maybe he was going to use his iPhone? I can honestly say that I've never encountered a more dishonest plumber than the guy from Plumbing Tree. I absolutely do NOT recommend them to anyone who wants to be treated fairly.
RIPOFF ALERT !!!! And if you don't want to read the whole thing, at least skip to the warning at the end. Don't use these guys.
We had a pinhole leak in the copper pipe to the water heater. It just needed a couple feet of pipe and a fitting or two (in the pic, it's just the piece of pipe between the water heater and the timer).
I'm thinking I could do this job for $40. Plumbing Tree came out and quoted me $1000 !!!!! Are you kidding me??? WTF!!! So I asked him to break it down.
What are the material and labor costs? And he said they don't break it down like that ! What? Everyone breaks it down like that. I thought it was required by law in fact.
It's too bad too because they've done some good work for me in the past but maybe there's new ownership or something. And I called them first because of that.
But now I've requested quotes from other plumbers on Yelp and they're all coming in around $300. UPDATE: Collins Pacific Plumbing came out today.
They had quoted me $350 and finished the job for $260. Now that's an honest plumber!! I don't understand how Plumbing Tree stays in business quoting people 4X THE GOING RATE!! Save yourself some time and money.
These people are CON ARTISTS plain and simple! WARNING: I refused to pay the $79 service charge because they didn't provide me with a reasonable estimate. This is your right! But now they are threatening legal action.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place AT ALL COST!!! Chris was awesome!Very professional and super helpful, upfront about options and pricing. The technician spent 10 minutes at my house and told me it would cost almost 600 dollars to install a kitchen faucet and I was supplying the faucet.
Wall isolation valves were already installed this was merely to switch out a faucet. I really wanted them to come over to due my restroom faucet which they wanted 800 for that did include valve installation Well at least I get to pay them 80 dollars for a quote.
Choose another plumber They charged my mother $4,112 for a Bradford White URG240T6N water heater, which seems to normally sell for around $1,000 - $1,500. It seems like it was installed well, but that markup is awful.
Make sure to research what they offer to sell you. Easily the best plumbers I've ever worked with.
My condo had a bizarre flooding that was happening within our bedroom closet. Both Luis and Freddy went above and beyond in figuring out that the ultimate culprit was from a neighboring unit's dishwasher line, but also, were both just incredibly kind, accommodating, and fantastically communicative.
I've dealt with plumbers before, but none have been so thorough or talked through their process and findings so well. I can't recommend them, enough.
This company was great when Freddy was involved in the actual work and managing the business. Their prices have since increased drastically which would be ok if they provided the same quality of service.
The last two visits they spent as much time trying to sell me additional "preventative" repairs then just repairing problem. My tenant was without the use of her bathroom for an additional few hours while they waited for me to respond to authorize sending a camera down to check the pipe which was unrelated to the toilet repair.
A day later they call to offer to change out some gaskets or screws that have a tendency to go bad for $200. Now receiving unsolicited calls for water heater maintenance specials.
Knowledgeable, thorough, fast, and accessible team of hard working and capable plumbers. It seems there's no project to big or too advanced for them.
We worked with Freddy and his team; excellent work! They were always professional and friendly, and always on time. I had an awesome experience with Plumbing Tree! Louis and Freddy came to my home to investigate some plumbing issues, which were fantastic.
They ran a camera through the system, patiently explained everything, and showed me exactly where the problem areas were. They took their time, never rushed me, and were cool and nice throughout the process.
They even gave me a clear, detailed quote for the repairs. I highly recommend Plumbing Tree to anyone seeking a professional, thorough, and friendly plumbing service.
Thanks again, Louis and Freddy! Angel was extremely helpful, professional and thorough. I called a few other companies for help with landscaping drains.
All the others recommended hydro jetting before even stepping foot on the property for an evaluation. Angel did a full inspection of all landscape drains including a camera.
With any other company I would have paid to have a non-functioning drain hydro jetted for $700 for no reason!! Highly highly recommend using Plumbing Tree. Honest and professional.
Phenomenal service, responsive and highly professional. Competitive prices.
Performed all aspects of the job as expected and cleaned up afterwards. We had flooring people re-doing our bathroom and they requested a plumber to uninstall/reinstall the toilet so I called Plumbing Tree - I had used Plumbing Tree in the past when they previously had per hour pricing and knew them to be of good value.
The positives - they were available the day I needed them and the tech was friendly and knowledgeable, but the entirety of the experience really upset me. The job was to pull the toilet - long enough to install the floor and then - re-install the toilet.
While we were waiting, maybe change out a few outdoor hose bibs. To start, the technician came back with a proposal to change out our water regulator plus other upgrades (like a new toilet) that cost over $2,000.
He might have been right that those could have been updated, but that wasn't what he was brought here to do and it had the same feeling as an oil change shop wanting to charge $200 to change a $20 air filter. The quoted price for the toilet uninstall/reinstall was over $400 and each hose bib was about $200! I wasn't thrilled, but I had other contractors waiting and Plumbing Tree already had a $80 charge to just come out.
So we nixed the outdoor bibs and I gave the go-ahead for the toilet. On uninstalling the toilet, we found that the toilet flange was too low and the previous owners "fixed" the problem by stacking a couple was rings on top of each other.
Obviously this was not going to work - but to fix the toilet flange alone was over $800. I needed the flooring complete to move back into my house so I approved it.
Long story short, I'm in $1,247 on this toilet project that took maybe 2.5 hours to complete. So we're talking maybe $500/hr.
In fairness to Plumbing Tree, they alerted me that their pricing structure had changed to a per job/item, but wow - I still can't comprehend how this project should have had this price tag. Plumbing Tree sent out Gilbert and Jesse. They were both so kind and Communicated to me on how to fix my clogged sewer drain.
Definitely will use again in the future. Thank you! Service requested was a leaking garbage disposal.
Service was done promptly and professionally . Everything was fixed well.
Price was upwards Overall we were pleased FAN. TAS.
TIC. I had a root grow into my ancient cast iron main line.
First plumber I spoke to said I had to rip up my entire driveway and replace the whole thing. What did Plumbing Tree advise? Great question I would love to tell you.
They recommended cutting down to the problem, removing the broken section, advised putting in a clean out since I did not have one on that side of the property, and concreting that bad boy back together. I am not one to recommend on pricing alone, but it was 1/10 OF THE PRICE of the original guy.
SOFT SKILLS SECTION: Professional? Check Knowledgeable? Check "No way they were on time though, right Travis?" THEY WERE ON TIME READER! THEY WERE ON TIME! Stop reading. Call them.
Get back to your life while people you trust get the work done. Called them over a seeping toilet.
I thought it might be the wax ring and I didn't want to pull the toilet myself. Turns out it was dripping from the upper tank (2 piece Kohler).
Angel from Plumbing Tree quoted me $760! This is just to REPLACE THE GASKET! Then, he said if we wanted to replace the toilet it would be $1,128. I actually laughed at him.
This company comes off as very polished and professional but are ripping off their customers. I asked him how long it would take to replace and he said less than an hour.
I said so that's $750 an hour for labor and he said I don't make that much. I ordered a replacement kit on Amazon for $24, looked up a how-to YouTube video and did it myself.
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE CHRISTIAN CROSS ON THE COMPANIES VEHICLES! Had an emergency where we needed a plumber to snake the branch line from the laundry room to the main, it was very slow draining and backing up. I left a message on a Sunday night and received a return call early Monday.
He told me about the $79.00 service fee to come out to give an estimate and if the work was done it would be deducted from the repair cost. What he forgot to mention is that they no longer charge hourly and they have set pricing to do various jobs.
Long story short.. same day service, knowledgeable and professional plumber came out and fixed the problem.
He was on the job for no more than 2.5 hours and left with a payment of $450.00. Ouch! On a good note, my husband didn't have to deal with renting a snake, the mess, the headache and his valuable time to do it himself.
Which he has done many times in the past. Thank you.
RIFF OFF ALERT Dishonest Plumbing Services. Leaky cartridge from the shower knob.
Technician took ten minutes inspection and wrote up a work order for $594. The replace cartridge is about $30, 2 hours labor is about $150.
That is a total of $180, fair price. Angel is the man! It is obvious as soon as you call Plumbing Tree that they care about customer service.
As a business owner myself, I know having all good in-office, phone customer service isn't that hard. What is really hard is having your technicians match that high-level customer service.
Angel was so knowledgeable, easy to work with, understanding, and also did amazing work. I highly recommend Plumbing Tree and hope that Angel is well taken care of because he is the kind of person any company would want representing them.
Beware! Look for another company. The prices are outrageous...Save yourself the $79 service charge because they will surprise you with an actual repair cost that is preposterous.
They wanted $406 to replace a toilet fill valve where no parts were required. And then, they want to charge even more for parts that didn't need replacement.
I called this place because they are 5 blocks from my house. There are plenty of companies that will come to evaluate for free but I had enough respect for a business's time that I didn't want someone to drive from Chula Vista to give me a free estimate.
This is basic plumbing 101, not rocket science. The poor girl who answers the phone is incapable of providing even a range of what a reasonable cost should be.
Good business practice would best be served by having a knowledgeable person answer the service calls. What a rip-off! Plumbing tree came to my condo because I requested a quote to change my angle stops, change out my p traps, change out the cartridges on my bathtub fixtures and change the shut off valve for my water heater.
The plumber went throughout my condo to find leaked and recommendations and quoted me over $5000. I couldn't believe what a rip off this was.
I paid $79 for the consultation and ended up hiring one of my friends plumbers (2 of them) for $1000 plus parts instead. I originally picked Plumbtree because I saw one of their vans on the freeway and noticed the Christian saying on the back of the van.
I had a leak coming out of my ceiling at 6am on a Saturday! They immediately answered and were over very quickly. Teddy was so helpful and sweet and stayed until everything was completely fixed.
He bought parts for me and came back Tuesday to replace the parts that were needed and now he is repairing other issues in my house. I highly recommend We had some emergency plumbing issues and Alan from Plumbing Tree addressed them quickly and went above and beyond when helping us determine the extent of our damage.
Alan was attentive, proactive, and worked with us to make a plan that worked within our budgetary restrictions. The quality of the work was evident and Alan constantly strived to make the experience quick and stress free.
Bonus, they also have a network of other great professionals in home improvement. These are great humans doing great They redid my entire studio everything still works.
I have been with the Plumbing Tree since 2014ish. I have used Hey services on plenty of jobs but when they did a complete reworking of my entire Plumbing system system you can really see how great they are.
I would not hesitate if you want the job done right. Please read other one/two star reviews - justified.
Job to replace garbage disposal with exact same produce (previously bought and available) , easy access. Quote of $370.
I said no, paid the service charge (as I should). They called later saying they would do it for price of the service charge.
Also beware to explicitly say "no" to a "plumbing health inspection" they do "free of charge" looking for addition work - of course for the "customers convenience and safety". Tony came on time and clearly explained the work that needed to be done.
After the explanations, we agreed on what work to complete and he did it directly, cleaned up after himself and then coordinated the additional parts to be ordered. I reached out to this plumber because they had done such a good job back in March 2021.
There have been no issues with that sink since the repair. Working with Miguel in the office both times was clear and easy.
Very expensive (the most of any quote I got) but quality is probably good, only time will tell. Would have been maybe four stars except that the tech sold me on a "preferred customer" program for $10/mo.
Turns out there is not a lot of value in it since I still have to pay for visits and there are no free services with it, so I called to cancel it. The person who called back was very aggressive and says there is an early cancellation fee and threatened collection action if I cancelled early.
What is this a gym membership? Pretty sus, greedy behavior on the company's part. We had a clog in our master shower after 5months from a previous employee (same company).
Alan came in to check out the clog. Company did great and looked at all piping thoroughly.
He accidentally found a broken pipe which was from the guest bathroom. Since he was there we asked to check another clog.
Come to find out that the pipe was damaged and water was leaking. He answered all our questions.
This is second time working with the company and satisfied with the communication and great work. They fixed broken pipe and clean up after their work.
We had a plumbing emergency this evening and Plumbing Tree was able to come out and fix our problem immediately. Mickey gave outstanding customer service.
He identified the problem and was able to fix it in no time at all. We will most definitely use Plumbing Tree again! Thank you so much!!! I've been using Plumbing Tree for a number of years.
Lately, it seems like they've made even more customer service improvements (I love getting text updates on service appointments and being able to see when someone is going to arrive in real-time so I'm not sitting around waiting, for example). Mickey R.
came and fixed several issues in our bathroom. He was very knowledgeable and had to get several parts and come back over the course of a few days.
Each time, he was completely willing to work around our schedule to get the job done as quickly as possible but in a way that worked with our families' schedule. He also took the time to demonstrate and explain things to me.
I will definitely continue to use them. If you want professional work done right, call Plumbing Tree.
Gilbert came out and was very professional. He was able to inspect everything wrong with the plumbing on the unit I was working on, and price it out so you can choose what work you want done.
Now they aren't the cheapest, but I believe they are the best service overall in my opinion. If want the best, you pay for it.
And you definitely get good honest work with Plumbing Tree. I will call them for all my plumbing needs.
Thanks Plumbing Tree! Very professional and responsive. I had some plumbing issue and they made it to my home in no time and fixed everything.
Wish they were a little cheaper though, but I guess everything is expensive these days. Alan arrived quickly and took care of the immediate issue.
He also showed me with his scope exactly what the root cause of the issue was and what needed to be done to achieve a permanent fix. He went over options and answered my many questions.
Really appreciate his help on short notice on a Friday afternoon working into the evening. He was awesome.
We had Plumbing Tree take care of our busted water heater back in October, '21. We got a few different quotes and, even though they charged a service fee to come out and give the quote, theirs was the best.
The gents who did the work were top notch in professionalism. Fast forward to this week, I've been having trouble with our sewer drain.
It kept getting clogged. I gave Plumbing Tree a call and the sent out Mickey right away, who was also the guy who helped us out with the water heater.
He took a look at the problem, snaked the drain and got it working again. He took a video recording of all my sewer lines and it turns out the root cause of the issue was a busted pipe.
I'm sure I'll stick with Mickey and Plumbing Tree to handle fixing that, too. I'm very happy with this company.
Plumbing Tree has done multiple jobs for me while remodeling my house. They are real professional ls.
I highly recommend they. I've used Plumbing Tree for several years.
They are reasonable, reliable, prompt and courteous. I love that they wear booties over their shoes when entering my home.
I will be calling them for my plumbing needs from now on. It's reassuring to have a plumber that I can depend on.
I have been using Plumbing Tree for our homes plumbing needs for over 5 years now. Sorry Freddy for never posting reviews.
I appreciate everything about the service. The attention to detail, inspections, preventive recommendations, even coming back to correct an oversight.
Nothing but positive interactions with the plumbers that have been sent over. I've had drains cleared, water valves changed, even outside sprinkler valves worked on.
Always top notch service that I've come to value from Plumbing Tree. Definitely worth every penny!!!! Called and left a message.
They returned my call within 20 minutes. We set up a time for the next day and Edwin came out and evaluated my leaky sink and took care of the problem.
He also inspected all the plumbing in the house. I appreciated how he explained everything and did not pressure me.
Feel totally ripped off! $550 to clear a drain in the shower? It took a half hour and had to clean up water on the bathroom floor when he left. Wanted to install a new kitchen faucet but they wanted another $544 for that.
No way. Years ago I was very impressed with this company.
We have been customers of Freddy since he was fresh out of school. Very disappointed! This is an update on the continued great service provided by plumbing tree.
We were experiencing an issue with the hot water through out the house. Gilbert was able to make an assessment the same day.
When he was unable to locate the source he made arrangements to return the next day again staying 3hours to complete the work. Gilbert took the time to explain exactly what the problem was and that he would not leave without its being resolved.
This is indeed the A team. Had Gilbert come out to check on my tankless heater to see if a problem existed with it.
Instead it was an outdated valve to the shower. He also replaced a very old faucet.
He arrived exactly when scheduled. I watched as he worked on the new shower valve.
Every step of the way he was meticulous with his work. He answered all my questions.
He went back to the water heater and rechecked settings. He and his assistant took care to keep things clean as they worked.
Exceptional work ethic. Will call Plumbing Tree if I need any plumbing work done in the future.
Excellent! Thank you! Liz Plumbing tree came and did some work on our house when we had an emergency situation with a leak. They were incredibly responsive and helpful.
Our technician, Mickey, was one of the nicest, most professional workers I have ever encountered. Truly a first rate business and we will be using them for all our plumbing needs in the future.
All good with my Plumbing Tree experience. Fast appointment scheduling.
On time for the appointment. Full explanation of repair options.
Knowledgeable and polite plumber. Fast fix for reasonable cost.
These are the reasons for my 5 star rating. Plumbing Tree has been my go to plumbing company for several years.
Once again, I needed a repair. This time it was a clogged kitchen sink drain.
I took it apart myself and thought I had it fixed as it was then draining perfectly. However, that night after dinner, it was apparent that I had failed.
I called Miguel and he scheduled a tech to come out the next day. Fernando arrived and was friendly, fast and efficient.
He had a bit of trouble getting the clogged drain cleared (which made me feel better about my failed attempt) but was successful quickly enough. He also rebuilt (with my approval) the under sink drain pipes to correct a minor problem and to make it easier to service in the future.
As always, Plumbing Tree came through for me with flying colors. We have been a customer of Plumbing Tree for a few years now.
All of the folks have very polite, hard working, and provide quality plumbing work. I have a 12 yr old tankless water heater that started leaking so I called Plumbing Tree and they were able to send someone out pretty fast.
Angel showed up and figured out that the heat exchanger was leaking. Luckily, the exchanger was still under warranty for replacement, so the part was ordered and showed up in a couple of days.
Angel installed the new part but error codes kept coming up and it turned out another part was bad as well, so it was ordered along with new gaskets and filters. Angel spent a lot of time diagnosing and fixing all the issues at a reasonable cost, especially when compared to a new tankless heater.
I found Plumbing Tree and Angel to be very professional, polite, conscientious, thorough and I would not hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing issues you may have. These guys are reliable, trustworthy, and do a good job.
We've been using them for years, for jobs big (burst pipe in front yard) and small (leaky pipe). Very happy with Mickey who replaced leaking drain and two faucets.
I was not at the property but Mickey kept me informed every step of the way with photos and videos and explanations of what was needed and my options. A little expensive but what isn't these days.
Excellent experience with Plumbing Tree. From the first they contributed meaningfully to project planning.
They followed up with a competitive and fair proposal, arrived on time, and stayed focused and diligent through completion. Our scope of work was in a condo and included a tankless heater, new tub and shower, unit shut-off, relocation of laundry valves and gas connections.
The team at Plumbing Tree was professional from the start. We needed to replace an old water heater and we had lots of questions.
The team was very easy to work with over the phone. Upon arrival (he was on time) the technician Alan was thorough with explaining the options with us along with a few basic recommendations.
He was able to provide me 4 quotes for various options within minutes. He also provided information on payment options (interest free option) should we need it.
I had a few extra questions for the management team so we were able to reach a manager immediately on the phone to address a few particular details for our job. They couldn't have been more professional.
Alan (the technician) was able to install our water heater, ran all of the diagnostics, and made sure we were up to code. We highly recommend Plumbing Tree to handle your next job! Excellent service, our plumber presented three different options to move forward with.
Although the plumber missed the service windows dispatch was super informative, and kept us up to date. Would recommend.
We needed emergency service for a clogged pipe on a Saturday morning. Angel arrived quickly to solve the problem.
He was very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. We would definitely hire him again if needed.
Thank you Angel! This company is amazing! From the beginning and until the end! My plumber was Gilbert and I definitely would recommend him to all my family and friends! Super amazing guy. With a positive attitude and very knowledgeable! This company is great at communicating and fixing any plumbing situation.
Come to find out we had old cast iron in our home and was causing everything to backup and Gilbert digged and digged and replace all our leftover cast iron and even fix our kitchen sink water pressure! It took 3 days but he was swift and super great at putting everything back. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because when I called the guy on the phone said it would be $75 fee to get our drained unclogged but come to find out it was $480 to snake plus the $75 fee.
They waived the fee for the inconvenience but yikes. We were very surprise and my husband was super upset at me for not knowing.
But I'm glad this company snaked it properly and my Airbnb guest were able to use the bathrooms again! Other than that! I would always recommend this company! They are very professional & reliable! Thanks Gilbert you are the best!!! I had a technician come to our condo downtown and completely tried to sell me on additional services for a slow drain snake. Once I told the technician I was only interested in a simple snake job he quoted me $479 + $134 for some additional service fee.
I told him their company was taking advantage of people with predatory pricing levels. I reluctantly paid the $79 service fee and told them I wouldn't do business with them or recommend this company.
I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. Bad business practices by this company I don't know who's giving them all the five star reviews.
I just had them come out to snake a shower drain. They informed me that there would be a $79 service fee to show up, which would be absorbed in the actual service.
No problem. They the quoted me $449 to snake the drain, a fifteen minute job.
I threw the guy out, and they still had the balls to charge me the $79. Never, ever do business with these people.
BTW, we had the same company do the same job ten years ago, and they charged about $100. You can't tell me prices have gone up by a factor of 4-1/2.
Additional, after reading their diatribe justifying insanity. Went to Home Depot, bought a plastic snake for $2.99, and pulled the hair out in about five minutes.
Wish I hadn't been lazy and had started there. Highly recommend anyone else do the same.
Whatever you do, don't call these guys. Plumbing Tree was super professional and was able to schedule routine work for the very next day.
Courtesy call 20 minutes before the plumber arrived was spot on. Angel was the plumber out to help us, and he worked harder and better than any professional help we've gotten so far.
Problem solving, patience, a great attitude, he worked tirelessly to solve all the problems with our leaking, overly complicated, poorly constructed Amazon-purchased Reverse Osmosis under-sink filter. Despite it leaking (due to its own design) repeatedly for 3 hours, Angel stuck with the project, and with his plumbing knowledge and the wealth of equipment available in the Plumbing Tree work vehicle, solved all problems thrown his way.
I can't speak highly enough of Angel's persistence and patience. He handled himself incredibly well, and despite not taking a break (or eating!) for 7+ hours, was always kind and cordial the whole day long.
I will not be going anywhere else for my plumbing needs. In my incredibly frustrating experience with lackluster contractors, Angel at Plumbing Tree towers above the rest.
We had a stopped up toilet and another toilet that was leaking underneath. (Flooring installers didn't do a good job resetting the toilet).
Edwin was our technician. Not only was he timely he was extremely professional, very honest and he was so clean! For having removed a toilet and fix it he didn't leave one spot of anything.
Excellent prices also. Very impressed with the job, Edwin and initial contact with them.
We will use them again in the future. Thank you for a job well done.
PEOPLE OF YELP, LOOK NO FURTHER! Plumbing Tree is super affordable, they have always been on time, clean, courteous and professional!! And sooo freaking HONEST!! I have referred the heck out of these guys and ALL my friends love them!! We get excited when we see their trucks on the freeway because these guys are so cool!! We honk l, give them a THUMBS UP and they wave back!! I swear you'll want to invite these guys to your next carne Asada or BBQ. WE ARE IMPRESSED!! Our garbage disposal broke off the drain in our kitchen.
Plumbing Tree came over and immediately wanted to do a whole house assessment. They quoted almost $700 to replace the garbage disposal!!!! I went over to A plumbing supply store but Home Depot would've been fine and bought an insinkerator which is a very big brand and apparently very good for $140.
Took me 10 minutes to install. The guy said it would take him an hour and a half.
Then he went on to quote $450 to replace two little water valves underneath the sink from an old style to a new valve style that you can buy for $10 at Home Depot. You just screw them on.
He also wanted to sell us a new water heater. We paid him his $79 charge for coming come out and sent him on his way.
I have been a client of Plumbing Tree for a few years now and the team never ceases to amaze me with their professional service as well as very fair pricing structure. I am a professional residential property manager (over 800 apartment units) for the past 10+ years.
I own a townhouse in San Diego and I manage it from over 400 miles away, so I can't always be on site when my tenants report a plumbing issue. From making an appointment to finishing the job, Plumbing Tree communicates efficiently and courteously with me.
They advise when the technician is on the way and call me to receive permission to continue if the scope of work exceeds the original plan. The technicians always clean up after their work is completed.
Spoke to Freddy regarding a clogged shower drain and Tony was able to show up the same day to work on my drain. Did a complimentary whole house plumbing inspection and was able to fix my plumbing issue.
Prices were fair and Tony was great at his job. Work has been completed, all is code compliant and the city signed off on the permit this morning.
From start to finish Plumbing Tree exceeded our expectations. They were very communicative, managed our expectations and looked for ways to accomplish what we needed in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Gilbert started and finished the project. He was outstanding as was everyone that we worked with from their company.
Freddy was also very helpful during the initial consultation stage through the quoting process. We will definitely check with Plumbing Tree first moving forward prior to having any additional plumbing work completed on our home.
I found this company through Angie's list when my 14 year old hot water stopped being so hot. Mickey came out first thing and walked me through repair and replacement options.
Mickey was great to work with, very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. I highly recommend working with Mickey and this company.
Plumbing Tree has helped me with all of my plumbing needs for years. One time Freddy diagnosed a problem that nobody else could figure out.
He came up with an elegant solution to noisy pipes that were driving me crazy. They give you an exact quote, not an estimate, before the job is done.
Their communication on appointment day is excellent and the work is always done right by courteous professionals. Highly recommended.
Hands-down, the best plumbers we have worked with. They are truly your plumbers for life.
Worth every penny. remarkable service from Mickey, Freddy, and his crew...
saved us from an awful ghost smell under our sink that ha plagued us for weeks ... all done quick, clean, and for a fair price.
I called this company to replace a warm water gadget in a bathtub when cold water was still working, they came up with almost $7000 estimate for many made up issues, they asked for $1500 to change the warm water gadget. It is insane, money does not grow on a tree for me.
I would ever never call them even if they are the only plumbing service in San Diego. What was not explained was would say overall service was great.
Mickey was very informative and respectful. He was able to walk through the house to look at other plumbing issues and give diagnostics of what needs to be fixed.
The job was worked on was a Moen cartridge being stuck and was not able to be removed. So the 3 star review was not on the work being done.
If there was a break out of different items, service would of been a 5 star. The 2 stars that was taken off was due to pricing.
$150 for diagnostics to come out to look at it was ok with me. And if we decided to do the work, $150 was going towards that repair.
And if not, then $150 was going to be paid for the them coming out. What was not explained was 1) that charges was done on a set price.
Each tiered of what was worked on was a set price. And 2) Freddy did not explain that Saturdays there was a 1.5 time charge.
(Which if you did check the website first, it was on there) But it was a call. 3) The time that was said kept on pushing back.
Was suppose to arrive between 4pm and 5pm, which was then around 6:10pm. (Updates from Freddie was helpful, but was without water for those many hours).
So biggest thing for this project was really the cost. Again.
Service was great. Price was on the pricier side.
*I get it, everyone is being affected by inflation. Which on the consumer end it also sucks.
Which I also feel for the vendor end. Plumbing Tree gets a 5 star rating only because I cannot give them a 10 star rating.
Miguel set up the appointment and called a few times because his plumber was able to get to me sooner then the appointed time. That was really appreciated since I was driving 2 hours to get to the location.
Gilbert was Fantastic!! He was very thorough and clean. He explained what he was going to do and why.
He was also very articulate with his answers and clean with his workmanship. Gilbert rebuilt the entire kitchensink plumbing and cleaned out the pipes in under 2 hours! He gave us tips on how to keep our drains cleaned and even recommended a few electricians for some other projects we have.
We have nothing but respect for Plumbing Tree. Thank you John M.
Closed escrow on a property a couple of days prior. Had not even made contact with all tenants, before first plumbing issue.
12/23 got a call about no hot water. Plumbing tree was able to come out, but couldn't access the downstairs backyard, where hot water heaters were located, so they could not fix the problem.
Once I got in touch with downstairs tenant, they came back out and promptly fixed the issue. Easy to work with Thanks! Mickey Romero from Plumbing Tree came on time was very professional and helped me through a tough time.
He was able to locate the leak and fix the pipe that burst in no time. I highly recommend them they were able to come by same day other company's I called wanted me to wait days or even weeks.
But thanks to Mickey and plumbing tree I was able to get back up in no time. Great price great value.
I used Plumbing Tree today for a water pipe leak in my front yard. Mickey was wonderful!! He answered all my endless questions with knowledge and professionalism.
He had to dig up a portion of my garden, and did it carefully and managed not to have to remove any plants!! He did a great job cutting and putting pipes back together and afterwards cleaned up all the mud and checked water pressure and made sure everything was back working without a leak!! I hired Plumbing Tree to perform an estimate for connecting a sewer line and running water for a proposed ADU site. Alan came out and was incredibly thorough.
Even though the estimate ultimately proved too costly for my project (not just their estimate; all the estimates for what I wanted to do were too much), I was quite pleased with the company and would suggest you include them when searching for something similar. Alan was excellent in his knowledge of plumbing and his patience in making sure I understood everything he was explaining to me..
Once again fabulous service. From Alan this time.
Excellent communication. Given options to proceed.
Highly recommend Plumbing Tree. Lisa Littlejohn I first used Plumbing Tree when I had a big problem with a root intrusion and my waste water connection with the city.
They nailed it. I also had them replace my gas water heater and doing plumbing repairs in my 100 year old home.
Top notch service wand people. And the best thing is that you can trust them, 100%.
If I could give them 6 stars I would.'''.
