Review and analyze now for company Bell and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''We had a great experience with Bell - Especially Vuk. Scheduling was super easy and we quickly had time scheduled for Vuk to come over and take a look at our main level A/C unit.
Vuk was suggested to us by a friend. He was on time and had an upfront discussion about next steps and costs associated.
We had our unit repaired within 2 hours. Highly recommend them for any HVAC issues and ask for Vuk.
Absolutely recommend! We requested service for lighting problems in our kitchen. Jeremiah Trevino from Bell Plumbing & Heating arrived within one day.
Jeremiah was polite, friendly and professional. Our German Shepherd liked him immediately.
He quickly evaluated our lighting problems and prosed two solutions. The first was to simply fix the faulty wiring for two light fixtures and the second, fix the whole room with a new "Slim LED Recessed Lighting System" that included eight new recessed light fixtures.
This is an advanced system that is very reliable and long lasting. (ie.
no further replacement of light bulbs needed). It was expensive, but provided good value over the long run.
Jeremiah completed the entire job skillfully and efficiently and showed us all the features of the new lighting system. My wife and I are very satisfied with our new kitchen lighting.
The service was superb. We will continue to call on Bell Plumbing and Heating for any further home repairs that we need.
I requested a certified Rinnai Tankless Water Heater tech for a leak inspection . No only was the tech unfamiliar with these units but dismantled it and left it open and gas.
All valves on with the electrical were left off and water valves off and the gas valve on when the tech left! This is very dangerous! Mostly they mis represented their skills and certification to service these units! Horrible experience!!! We had a leaking bathroom sink and a shower head that dropped. They sent out a Master plumber.
He fixed the sink. Said he couldn't fix the shower.
They would have to go thru drywall in next room. Gave us a quote of $4000.00.
We declined. 1 week later sink is leaking again.
They send different Master plumber. Says other guy did it all wrong.
He supposedly fixes it. He did not less than a week later it is leaking again.
We call our local handyman. He comes out fixes sink and shower.
Took off faceplate in the shower changes out the piece in there. Less than 100.00.
Both work great. We complained to Bell Plumbing they did nothing!!!' Bell Plumping took us for 600.00 and did not fix the problem.
Bad part I grew up by one of the Bells want to support a family business. Do not use them unless you like giving LOTS of money away! I would give negative stars if I could.
They should be ashamed!! AN UPDATE I phoned Bell to question the $1,000,00 charge for a repair that took less than hour. The employee I spoke to was familiar with my job, was courteous, and said they would "get back to me".
They never made atempt to contact me. In my opinion, the lack of response confirmed that Bell Plumbing unopologetically charges $1,000.00 an hour for repair.
Another update: After initiating a chargeback with Chase, Bell Plumbing finally reached out to try and get me to accept a refund in exchange for taking down my review and signing a release form. I declined as I think it's important people know what type of company they are.
That being said, I am giving them one additional star for finally offering a refund after being threatened with a chargeback. Do business with them at your own risk, they made it very clear through numerous exchanges with me that through their terms of service, they reserve the right to decide to cancel/change the services that you've paid for.
Please see the attached email screenshot. Bell plumbing came to my grandmothers home and replaced 2 toilet seats, a shower head and 2 valves for $1165 (labor only).
This company prays on the elderly and uninformed. I would not recommend this company.
Since you are already on on yelp I'm sure your not using them anyways. This place is a joke! My husband got swindled into a membership due to maintenance on the furnace being included.
We were just charged $400 for someone to be here for 20 min!! No notice that prices were changed when calling to schedule no notice of changes to membership. We will never use this company and will make sure to share this with the neighborhood and community.
Bell plumbing charged 578.88 for a 35 minute service call on 20.00 value replacement. Our tenant paid this invoice, he did know what a reasonable cost should be.
When we called Bell to question the cost....they said that is our minimum fee, you are getting the Bell service and nice vehicles. I do not recommend Bell plumbing, their pricing is egregious and their vehicles are not nice.
After our complaint and discussion with the business they provided an additional discount of $150 towards the repair costs. This was appreciated and I understand their business model.
Still would be beneficial to have up front pricing. Bell Plumbing has a friendly front office and ease in scheduling.
It charges a $99 diagnostic fee, which is waived if one contracts for service. Bell also offered us a 30% discount because we're senior citizens and my husband is military.
Sounds good enough to at least get them into the house to figure out what's dripping. Turned out it was a turnoff valve.
The technicians was here for 1.5 hours and charged us $1300 to install 4 shutoff valves. Is there anyone out there that thinks $850/hour is excessive? Bell Plumbing & Heating quoted me $2,000 to replace one toilet.
They actually quoted me $2,420 and then provided a $420 discount. If you read reviews this type of overcharging seems to be a strategy of this company.
It is unfair of them to try to take advantage of people that may not have industry knowledge of cost or the time to deal with an untrustworthy company. DO NOT USE BELL PLUMBING AND HEATING.
I needed a sink hookup and some other stuff done. Bell was very responsive and was available the next day.
They're a good size company who have been in business for almost 100 years. I was very happy with the work that was done.
I've been a landlord for over 25 years, I have used a lot of contractors and know what good work looks like. The technician, Jay H, did a solid job.
I will definitely use Bell again. I came home from vacation to find 2-3" of standing water in my storage room.
Tony came out to fix the problem. I knew from the moment he came to the door, I was going to like him.
He assessed the situation, explained options to me then went to work. He is a very personable individual.
I can see him going far. If you get the chance to choose your technician, I would highly recommend Tony.
This place rips off seniors by charging them outrageous prices for parts that are inexpensive. My mom chose this place because it was the only one listed in the Heather Gardens newsletter.
She is elderly and does not know how to use the Internet. Little did she know she would get majorly ripped off for parts of the toilet that had to be replaced, all under $20.
She was charged more that $500 and could of bought 3 new toilets for that price. My brother in law owns a construction company and knows about toilets and parts for them.
She said she felt like crying when the technician told her the price, but felt like she had to pay it. This place needs to be removed from the Heather Garden newsletter as they take advantage of the elderly, it is pure elder abuse! Avoid this place at all means! Bell is the best! We've used them for a while now.
Our furnace started doing some weird things this week, so I called at about 4:45pm to set up an appointment, and spoke with Heather, who was a delight. She scheduled me an appointment for the same day! I was NOT expecting that, especially so late in the day, and wow - what a nice surprise! Chris came, and he was awesome.
Super honest about what was going on, inspected everything and was straightforward about what I could and could not wait on. It's always a little nerve wracking when you have a service technician in your home, because it's a big unknown - how much am I going to spend today? I feel so much more at ease now, I wasn't out hundreds (or thousands) of dollars, and it looks like our furnace is going to get us through the winter with no big problems.
Thanks, Chris, Heather, and the whole team at Bell! I would give 0 stars if I could. this company preys on senior citizens, they charged my mother who is in her 80s, $554 to put a $20 part in her toilet, it was high pressure my mom was almost in tears, but she had to go ahead and pay it because it's her only bathroom.
The technician said he was in a hurry and had to leave so she didn't have time to call us and check on the price. I've spoken to the manager and she didn't help at all.
They let the technicians quote whatever price they want and then they lied about the part he put in saying it was brass when it's just plastic. Plus they never even mailed her receipt, I had to call and request it to be emailed to me.
Complete rip off and scam! Prices are outrageous. There is no real explanation of the estimate.
They say that all jobs are priced on a flat rate basis. You hate to lose the $99 evaluation fee so you go ahead with the job out of concerns for your safety, and then you realize just how much you were overcharged.
And why is there a $99 estimate fee when all jobs are based on a flat rate? Then, it takes almost 2 weeks to get clarification of the charges. They sent the invoice to the wrong email address three times, and that was their excuse for not sending the invoice until after the job was done.
Would never use this company again. Recommend you check other companies before you call Bell.
If I would have known that a simple gas valve replacement would have cost over $1,000 I never would have had them out to my house. And if their jobs are all based on a flat rate then they could have told me that before they wasted my time and my money.
And their alleged 20% discount for seniors is a joke. If you want to pay 300% more than you have to, hire Bell.
We have used them many times, and have always wondered whether they over charged. Now we know.
Our furnace started working on and off. We called Bell who said they drained a clogged pipe and performed a complete maintenance and inspection for over $300 and told us everything was working fine.
The next day, the furnace was off again. Bell came back and said two pressure valves were failing, which he said he had noticed the day before but didn't tell us.
He said he could replace one valve for about $600 and both for over $1,000. He said those valves are really expensive.
When I asked for the manufacturer and part numbers, he said he couldn't tell me because "it isn't industry standard". He then said he didn't know.
When I saw that the information was clearly printed on the valves, he said I couldn't order the valves because I'm not in the industry. I looked on Google and learned that I could order the valves for $14.96 and $17.31.
I hired a different HVAC company who agreed to order the valves and replace the old ones for $351. I'm done doing business with Bell.
I paid $168 for a technician to come out and look at my bathroom faucet (no water pressure) and tell me that the whole fixture needed to be replaced. I received two quotes, one for them to supply the replacement fixture and install it.
It was absurdly high, in the thousands range. If I supplied the fixture myself it would be about $400.
I was told the cartridge was broken and it couldn't be replaced in my fixture. I did some searching online and found the exact Delta replacement cartridge.
I ordered it and installed it myself. That didn't solve the issue so I did more research online and found out it was probably an aerator issue.
I went to Ace, bought a new aerator for $5, and now my faucet is working great. Long story short, they tried to tell me I had to replace my entire fixture when the only thing wrong was a faulty aerator.
If they're as experienced as they claim they should have known it was just the aerator so I was either taken advantage of or they didn't know what they were doing. I would not trust them for plumbing issues, I almost wasted $400 with them.
One star is for the plumber being nice, but otherwise would not recommend. Felt pressured to agree to the high price and get the work done right away with the scare tactic of it being dangerous that I couldn't turn off the water in my new home and the pipes could burst at any time.
The technicians on-site and everyone else I've talked to at Bell have said that they're competitive in their pricing and that they do an analysis every year, but I paid more than double what I should have for the job they accomplished. Scheduling the HVAC technician we specifically requested our HVAC be scoped for a leak.
HVAC technician on-site didn't know anything about that request and recommended I pull up my own floorboards, to try to find my own HVAC leak. Had to wait for Bell to call me back 3 days later to tell me that they don't do duct scoping and use a separate company to do that.
In hindsight, this technician was probably trying to save me money. Buyer Beware! We have used Bell Plumbing for years on many properties and always had good service.
We were recently out of town when the toilet started leaking at one of our rentals. We told the renter to call Bell.
They spent 3 1/2 hours at the house, replacing the water valves, putting in a new wax ring and cleaning out the toilet. They charged over $2,900 but then gave her a senior citizen discount bringing the total to $2500.
Shame on Bell Plumbing for charging such exorbitant rates on an elderly woman who had no idea what a fair charge should be. She trusted them to treat her fairly and they abused that trust.
After complaining to them, they gave us 10% back but that was little comfort. Don't trust and don't use them! The staff who work for Bell are outstanding professionals.
The Company often has limited availability and charges an outrageous premium for anything that they do. Don't get me wrong, it is quality work if you can afford it I live in a townhome community.
In May 2023, I called Bell Plumbing to come out and investigate the sound of water in my laundry room. The technician immediately said you have a water main leak.
He arranged for Brad, Bell's estimator to come out and confirm. When Brad arrived, I asked him if he should turn off the water main at the curb stop to confirm it was the main line.
He said it wasn't necessary because it was definitely a water main leak. Brad then informed my HOA Board that it was a water main leak and provided a quote for $9,600+ along with a recommendation that this repair be a priority.
Based on this information, my HOA authorized Bell Plumbing to commence with excavation and water main replacement. When the Bell technicians arrived and started excavation, I told them I still had water because my toilets were flushing.
I asked that they turn off the water main at the curb stop to see if the sound of water was still there in my laundry room. They said it wasn't necessary to turn off the water until the excavation was complete and main line replacement was ready to begin.
After the main line was removed, it was determined by Bell that there was in fact no leak in the main line. At that time, an individual from the city arrived and told me it was most likely a sewer line problem.
Bell Plumbing would not negotiate with my HOA on the cost of the repair. My HOA subsequently charged the invoice back to me as an assessment.
Bell was wrong with their diagnosis of the problem. They refused to turn the water main off at the curb stop to confirm it was indeed a water main leak.
Now I am stuck with this expensive assessment for a repair that was never required! This was total negligence on the part of Bell Plumbing. I feel they were just out to make a buck and never performed due diligence on the part of me - the homeowner.
Like a lot of customers, I regret that I ever used their services. I needed to replace a filter for a humidifier.
They ended up charging me $510 with the trip charge. It shouldn't have cost more than $120-$180.
Within two weeks, the unit broke down. An electrode on the unit had burned up.
My suspicion it was there shoddy work but I can't prove. Another technician says this never happens., They said it should be warrantied under their work and offered to come out free to look at it.
They came out and looked and gave me a $2,100 estimate to fix it. They charged me $265 for a trip charge.
I should have kicked them out of the house. I had a reputable company come in and fix the problem for $315 plus $60 for another filter.
Buyer beware. Since filing this response, with Bell Plumbing and Heating, we received a telephone call from their "Customer Relations Representative." The woman said she had "read" all sides and understood that we had requested work that Bell declined to perform and had quoted a different approach that would not have solved the issue with our Swamp Cooler.
HOWEVER, we had signed the trip charge and estimate report so we must pay. We asked her to repeat her title of "customer relations", and she replied that was what she was doing!! We paid under protest to avoid Bell proceeding with their threats to file mechanic liens and other legal actions against our property for $210.00.
We do not recommend Bell Plumbing and Heating. Their scheme is to say they can do work, get on property, require you to sign their authorizations, provide exorbitant estimates for work that does not address a problem, and threaten legal action if you refused to pay.
If we had used Bell, the work would have cost close to $4000 and taken 3 or 4 days to complete with multiple visits. We called Pristine Plumbing.
They repaired our Swamp Cooler as we had requested Bell to do in approximately 45 minutes for a cost of $349.00. So much for Bell's mission statement, "To Build Life-Long Customers by Providing Needs -Based Solutions", focusing on Accountability, Service, Professionalism, Integrity, Reliability and Empathy in all that we do." Our original complaint to Bell follows.
We are responding to your request for payment of invoice 81469303 and most recent threatening email without hearing our side of the story. When we agreed to this service, it was based on specific representations made to us about your capabilities to service our swamp cooler.
Prior to engaging your services, we asked your scheduler if you repaired water lines that go through an attic space to supply water to our swamp cooler. The reply was yes.
When your HVAC repairman came to our home, he said he would NOT repair the line in the attic that supplied water to our cooler. He said a plumber was needed to install plumbing to a hose bib on the outside of the house and then a copper waterline to feed water to the cooler.
He assured us that the plumber could do all this and then start-up our cooler. Regrettably, we found this was an additional misrepresentation on the part of another employee.
When your plumber arrived on site before doing any work or looking at the project, he required me to sign an invoice for diagnostic work order before he would do anything. After a signing the document, I explained the project.
The plumber then said he was not qualified or authorized to start up the cooler or even to install the copper water line from the Fawcett to the cooler. He then looked in the crawl space, said that this would be an "easy job." He would only have to run a pipe about two feet from existing plumbing and then install the hose bib at a point where we both agreed would be appropriate.
When I asked what was going to be done about the feeder line to the cooler, he then went to his truck and remained there for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. I finally walked out to the truck finding him talking to his supervisor.
When I asked if I could talk to the supervisor, he hung up, saying that the supervisor would not be able to help me. After another 15 or more minutes, he then provided a quote for the plumbing work and hose bid of approximately $3,500.
$3,500 for a job that he had identified as "easy". We said that we would not pay that exorbitant amount and that because of the misrepresentations and ridiculous bid we felt that we should not pay him on the spot.
Your plumber then stated that he understood why we were "mad". He had not put the cover back on the entrance to the crawl space.
We told him we would take care of it. He did not work on our property--not even inspecting the water lines in our home to address the installation of a water bib.
Since the representatives you sent were not able to perform the work we requested even though you had represented your people were qualified to do so, we did not authorize the plumbing. If we had authorized the work, we would still not have a working cooler without more appointments and further expense.
We concluded that your misrepresentations and the waste of our time did not warrant payment. After review of our response, we believe that to live up to your mission statement, you should waive the trip and diagnostic fees because you did not earn it and it is the right thing to do.
The right thing to do for customer service and to preserve any chance that we will use your services again and/or speak favorably of you company to anyone again. In case you have forgotten, your mission is "To Build Life-Long Customers by Providing Needs -Based Solutions", focusing on Accountability, Service, Professionalism, Integrity, Reliability and Empathy in all that we do." The one star is for the service tech, who was efficient and polite.
As for the company, they charged me more for a new garbage disposal and installation than I am going to be charged by a different company for the purchase and installation of a new dishwasher!!!!!!! Do not use this company. They think too much of themselves.
They asked for a review after the visit. I gave them a very poor review.
They didn't even bother to respond. My service call was on Sept 23, 2021.
Look it up!!! Not only are you doubting a customer but now I have to freaking prove it Bell plumbing is the worst! Go to your records. Stop accusing customers of being liars!! Been using Bell for years and recently had them come out and look at a part on my furnace that was making some noise.
By itself this part is $250...keep that in mind. So the guy proceeds to look at the functioning--but noisy--part and says he can replace it for $1,200 but that will just result in a cascade of other failures.
What I really need is a new furnace for about $5,000. Oh, my A/C condenser also has a few years on it so I need to replace that as well.
So, a whole new system for $10-$15k...when would I like to have Bell's engineer out to design it? All this for a $250 part that is making a little noise. This is one 10 year customer who has now deleted Bell from my address book.
Oh, forgot to add that I got another quote to replace the $250 part, which was $600. They also said the part might keep working for a long time and the sound did not necessarily mean failure was imminent.
My rating was originally won but I have had time to deal with Bell a number of other times and I am very happy with them. Absolute joke of a company.
This company has been out to my condo 3 times to install a thermostat, and my problem has only gotten worse. Before contacting this company, I had an older thermostat that I wanted updated.
The thermostat worked fine, but I'd wanted a newer model. Trip one, they sent a box truck, and then stated that they could not find anywhere to park it (I live downtown), so they would have to reschedule for the next week.
Trip two, they sent a smaller vehicle, with someone who was not certified to work on my type of unit (which was clearly stated in the notes) so they had to reschedule. Trip 3 someone finally came out and installed the thermostat and I was happy, until the next day when I realized that my apartments air conditioning did not work, despite being triggered by the thermostat.
I called to have someone come figure this out, and they informed me that there is a $46 fee for that. This is absolutely unacceptable.
If they do not fix the issue this time I will end up spending my own money elsewhere to fix their mistake. I went to the retail store today to look at kitchen sinks and found the retail/parts store is permanently closed.
There is a sign on the door that says they couldn't compete with big box competitors or online sales. Yes, I guess that is right when you are charging 2.5 to 3X the price you can buy the same parts for anywhere else.
Never have I gone to Bell and found anything priced competitively. They even had a stupid return policy.
Unfortunately the buying public voted with their dollars and put this legacy retail establishment out of its misery. They simply refused to adapt to the market.
(Why did I go? They did have a nice showroom and the staff was knowlegdable). The sign went on to say they now schedule design consultants and still do repairs.
Read those reviews. Looks like the ridic prices moved from the floor to the field.
Dead ringer. Wanted $600 to replace a washing machine discharge drain.
A complete waste of my time. Look elsewhere.
I had furnace issue. Shaun Reynolds from Bell Plumbing Had shown up for the work to be done.
Shaun was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Went straight to work.
Explained everything that needed attention. The bill was absolutely fair.
Also I should point out that Bell Plumbing has a first rate customer service. This company keeps you in the loop as to ETA of Bell's employee to why they may be late which makes me feel valued as a customer.
Grade for all around service and professionalism..........................(+A) Keep up the great work Bell Plumbing. $3000, 4 in person visits, 1 no show visit and my AC still does not work.
Unbelievable. Now I can't get anyone to call me back to take care of this mess they created.
To say I am dissatisfied and disappointed would be an understatement. Beware, you have been warned.
I have bought a part I needed for my furnace before - $75 or so for an igniter. I believe it was a Sunday and they were the only ones available/open.
Great service. Called them out this morning as my furnace was out - the igniter I installed melted.
Not sure why - the technician was not sure why either. Could have been the gas outage we recently had where we had no gas for days.
$49 for the service call - no problem I thought. But, to replace the igniter and have a technician install it was $471.
Time was about 1-1/2 hours. Maybe two hours when you count the drive? So, roughly $200/hr is my guess.
You do the math, you can get lawyers for $250/hr. I get they use union technicians, there's training, gas etc.
, but really??? For a part that retails $75? Wholesale on it is less than $30. I could not wait and did not have time to call another technician out and play that game.
Their pricing is national average as they were selling it to me. Guess common sense is not used here and I know they have a business to run.
The technician was great, very nice etc. No issues there.
Do yourself a favor, if you can wait, use a local well reputable small hvac that is not going to charge "National Average". I have a five year old furnace that was really noisy(oil canning) and running hot because of air flow problems.
Ive had at least 4 other HVAC companies check it. Diagnosing didn't fix it! Ryan told me HVAC is licensed, but many technicians don't know about high efficiency furnaces and air flow rpoblems (there a ton of complaints on this on internet) Anyway, he figured out what was wrong, my furnace is running smoothly! I paid $50 to have a plumber come out a quote me $900 to fix a shower faucet.
The plumber admitted the price was outrageously high, but said he didn't set the prices. I spoke with his supervisor who also admitted the price was higher than most competitors.
My advise is do it yourself or find a reputable plumber (if there is such a thing) because this company is a rip off! I would give no stars if possible. I called Bell Plumbing about fixing my garbage disposal and they said that they could come in ten days, on June 11th.
I agreed to this appointment. Bell Plumbing then left me a message on June 10th at 4 p.m.
saying that they were cancelling the appointment because they were too busy with other customers and that I should call to reschedule the appointment. I did indeed call Bell Plumbing and told them that I would be rescheduling the appointment with another plumber.
Cancelling appointments is NOT ACCEPTABLE, particularly for no legitimate reason on short notice. I had rearranged my schedule for the week so I could be home on June 11th for the plumber.
I refuse to accept such inconsiderate, abysmal customer service. Bell's longevity in Denver has made them cocky.
DO NOT use them. Recently I got a kitchen faucet replaced for $250 from another plumber - Bell had installed the same one 8 years earlier for nearly $500.
When it needed to be replaced, they wouldn't even look at it if we didn't pay nearly $300 and then they were quoting nearly $900 on top of that for the same new faucet. They installed a furnace for us years ago (now I know how over priced it was) and the electrical outlet they were required to install per code has NEVER worked and they refuse to fix it.
DO NOT use them; we have many smaller, independant plumbers in town who deserve our business. They left a hole under sidewalk and never responded.
So I hired someone to fill since they ignored my request. They replaced a water line from the house for $6,000.00.
I do not recommend Bell heating and plumbing are a bunch of crooks! They charged me $407 dollars to come and diagnose our HVAC unit. After the tech was up on the roof for over an hour he came down and told us we needed a new motor and it would be almost $5000 dollars to fix...
mind you we are a church so we have a lean budget and this unit is not even 5 years old..... so, We went elsewhere and got a second opinion.
The unit only needed a belt and a pulley, and ended up only costing us $125 parts and labor! Do be fooled but the trucks and uniforms they a liars and crooks! I will be pursuing our 400 dollars, and reporting them to the state of Colorado for deceptive business practices! This is NOT the same Bell Plumbing you've seen all your life. Very unreliable, after wondering if they were going to show up I called to verify the appointment at which time I was told "oh sorry we have to change that we were just getting ready to call you".
Believe all these low ratings. I could have saved myself a lot of time if I would have.
Bell Plumbing and Heating technician that showed up wanted just under $1000 to install a dishwasher. He said it was the industry standard.
Old dishwasher was already gone, no issue swith existing plumbing or electrical, and it ended up being a 20 minute task with competitor company we went with...who charged around $200, a seemingly fair price for the time and skillset needed for the task. Bell still charged the callout fee though.
Recommend looking elsewhere for your plumbing needs. This company is really criminal.
Our furnace wouldn't start and the problem turned out to be a blown fuse. The service guy told us the fuse was hard wired to the SSU unit and he would have to replace the entire SSU which would cost almost $900 (see attached invoice.) I ended up calling our electrician and replaced the fuse myself for $4.00.
These guys will take advantage of someone who is without heat and doesn't have any home repair knowledge. Beware they have no problem charging $900 for a 4 dollar fuse.
SCAM!!! These guys are absolute crooks. Here's my experience: I moved into a new house a few weeks ago.
Prior to move-in, the old owners had the furnaces serviced for me by Bell Services on S. Abeline to the tune of $1737.00.
The first cold day (about a week after taking possession) I turned on the furnace but it wouldn't start. They had just serviced it, nobody had touched it since, and it wouldn't turn on.
I called Bell, expecting that they would stand by their work. The technician first spent 10-15 minutes showing me obvious (to him) problems with the unit, suggesting that I have it serviced and those problems addressed.
I told him that it had just been serviced by them and that they should have fixed those things as a part of that service. He made excuses as to why the previous technician had missed those five items.
I got the feeling that he was looking for a massive upsell, but since I believed it was on them to make it right, the tech stopped barking up that tree. He checked the codes, found the problem and tested to be sure that the problem really was the air pressure switch.
He bypassed it and the unit ran, but unhooked the bypass for safety reasons. I argued that they should fix it for free, since it obviously wasn't working when they last left after the $1700 job.
He said that the warranty that the previous owners got doesn't transfer to me since I'm the new owner. He also told me that the unit MUST have been working properly otherwise the other technician wouldn't have left and implied that we were lying about having not run the unit (despite the fact that the weather had been in the 70s-90s since they had ostensibly serviced the unit - no heating required).
When I asked about the condensation he was concerned with vis a vis the AC unit, he said that it takes up to two hours for that condition to emerge. He said that they never have time to fully test their work.
Nice. Desperate to get the heater working on a cold night I asked him how much it would cost to fix it.
He told me $800 to replace the bad part. I asked him how much the part itself would cost and he said $655 (for a part that looks like it should cost between $10 and $50).
He offered that it was after hours and that everything was more expensive after hours. I asked him what the $655 part would cost if I bought it from him tomorrow, and he began to backpedal.
He didn't want to answer the question and suggested that he should probably just leave. After 30 minutes of arguing with this fool, I decided to deal with the cold and kick him out of my house.
By that point I was upset about being scammed, and I was less than civil. On his way out of the door he turned back, yelling to me and my wife and kids: "at least my house is warm." Once he drove away I went online and found the EXACT manufacturer's part for $42.
There were cheaper ones in the $20 range, but I figured that I'd stick with the OEM. I installed it with two screws (provided) and I plugged the two wires and single rubber hose back in.
It works like a champ and cost me 5.25% of what Bell felt was fair (saving $768 on an $800 job). Since I've never worked on a furnace before, I took my time double-checking all of the connections.
Even so, the whole thing took less than five minutes. This company is clearly scamming patrons whose systems are broken and who need help.
Many people would have just paid the $800, letting themselves be ripped off by these guys. I'm fairly certain that this kind of deceit plays a big role in their business model.
STAY AWAY FROM BELL!!!! Should have read the reviews prior to scheduling them! I used them only because they had serviced our new home for the prior owners. I had them come out to look at our humidifier and make sure it was operating at full capacity.
They charged me $165 at that time. Later that day we noticed the "needs service" light on.
Called the company back out and explained that the light was now on. The sent the same technician back out a week later to see what was going on and he wanted to charge us an additional $670 to service it! I told him he could respectively leave! Can't prove that he did anything to it; but total rip off! Incidentally, I looked up the cost of our humidifier; we could get s brand new one for $20 more!! My family has been Bell customers for 20+ years.
We were very disappointed with the Customer Relations/Complaints rep from Bell a few days ago, but today we received a call back from Bell and they made our situation right again. We were very impressed they followed up the way they did and will happily give them another opportunity.
They wanted $1400.00 to replace a valve in my shower and they were using my parts not there's. What a rip off.
This is straight up the definition of GOUGING! Shame on any company that takes advantage of people like that. Tom, I completely understand that you would deny what actually happened.
It was $1400 minus a veterans 15% discount down to $1200. Then when I said absolutely no to the proposal, he dropped it to $1000.
This only included replacement of the valve. Nothing else! I just hired a certified, licensed, bonded, and insured company with fully stocked trucks and 24 years of experience that will not only replace my valve, but complete the entire project I started for 1/2 the price you were going to charge.
Seriously, look at the majority of your reviews, almost all of them are, you're company overcharges for the work. It tells a lot about a company that starts the proposal at $1400 and then lowers it to $1000 after the customer says no.
Especially when your proposal was still $600 more than one of your competitors. Treat people fair and do quality work and you'll keep them as a customer forever.
Treat them as I was treated, well, you've lost me as a customer FOREVER. Stop defending your actions and just bid your projects fairly.
I very highly recommend Bell Plumbing! We had a very big job that came out of the blue, and they went above and beyond to help. I was visiting my elderly father on a Tuesday and noticed a gas leak outside.
Xcel came and immediately shut off the gas due to the leak outside and also one inside. This was in February, and temps were predicted in the teens, so not having natural gas was a big problem.
Bell got Brad out the next day to make an estimate, and sent two technicians on Thursday to rework the outside piping. At that time they tested the whole system and realized all of his interior pipes were leaking and had to be replaced, in order to get the job done Adam came on Sunday and worked all day.
They didn't even charge us overtime because my Dad is almost 90 and it was going to be so cold. We were really fortunate to have called Bell for this job--they had the ability to give the resources needed to address what turned out to be a major issue.
Brad and Adam (and one other tech whose name I didn't get) were so professional, hard working, and really nice people. Even though it was unfortunate to have this issue, especially in winter, Bell took care of the problem in the best way I could imagine.
My husband & I did business with Bell for 15 years. When it came time to remodel our master bath we thought Bell would be great.
Kristy did a fantastic job on the design. She took an awkward layout & made it work.
Unfortunately that's probably the last positive thing I have to say. We signed a contract in early December.
They demanded 50% up front. We've worked with many contractors, no one asks for 50% initial payment.
Work was scheduled to begin Jan. 5th.
My husband called the foreman, Robbie. We were re-scheduled for Jan.
9. If he hadn't called we would not have known.
Jan. 9: we make sure there's a lock box on the door.
Hubby had e-mailed the combo to Robbie the week before. He gets a call at work from a worker asking for the combination & 30% payment or he's going to walk.
No invoice, no polite request, no e-mail reminder. Now Bell has 80% of the contract price & they haven't picked up a hammer.
1st week: demo went well. New drywall--excellent.
Then we hit a big bump in the road: wall tile. The hubby & I moved out of our house to have several projects done.
Nick the tile guy treated our house like garbage. He set up his tile saw in my walk in closet and cut tile, laid tile, took down the same tile, re-cut tile & repeat.
4 1/2 weeks later the wall tile is not even halfway done and my entire house is covered with dust blown around by the tile saw. When I sent an e-mail complaining about the dust, the length of time it was taking to lay wall tile & buckets of dirty water in my closet--no response from Robbie.
But Nick the tile guy did dump his buckets of dirty water on my basement windows & landscaping boulders. We tried to schedule a meeting in mid Feb.
to discuss issues with Robbie at our house. He re-scheduled three times, with about an hour's notice each time.
We both had to re-schedule events on our calendar only to get blown off by Robbie each time. My e-mails were copied to Kristy, the sales manager, Patricia Salvidio, & the two Bell brothers we've all seen on TV.
No response from Salvidio or the Bells. We did learn that the company is run by a guy named Greg Palmer, not the Bells.
At a walk thru Mar. 31st, Greg tried to convince us that a vent/light fixture that was slated to be replaced, WAS a new light.
I guess it just looked exactly like the old fixture, with the exact same burned out bulb! As my husband likes to say: "The fish stinks from the head down""." Mid April: Robbie is supposed to arrange for inspection by Denver. Apparently he did, but no one was here.
We find crabby notes from the inspectors stuck to our door. We tell Robbie to contact the inspectors & have someone here.
All the permits are taken from our windows--job done, right? Wrong! We wait 2 months for a final invoice. Nicky from accounting called 10 days ago.
Why haven't we paid the final invoice? Why haven't we gotten a final invoice? Because it was up to Robbie to generate! We ask for proof of passing inspection. Bell can't do that.
We contact Denver. We haven't passed inspection.
Robbie took down the permits & PRETENDED everything was done on this job. A job he estimated would take 30 days.
A job that began 6 months ago is still not complete! After 15 years Bell has lost our business forever. Update March 2018: someone just brought Greg Palmer's response to my attention.
I applaud Greg taking responsibility for their mistakes and implementing a new communication system. However the comment that they re-did this room at their cost is misleading.
We paid the full contract price less $300 for the light/fan fixture not replaced. This job may have cost Bell money due to the length of time involved.
But make no mistake, we paid full price, on time, upon request. At least someone in this tale did what they promised.
Called replace a garbage disposal, thankfully we bought on amazon for less than $100 - tech showed up 2 days after we called, estimated it would take an hour - spent 2 and charged us $550.00. These guys are crooks! Stay away from this company.
Things initially went smoothly after replacing water heater. At the time of the Water Heater Replacement the technician sold me a Platinum Service Membership Plan as a good deal for $x for all these benefits that were posted on their website.
The plan was purchased for a 1 year period in advance in which time I would be able to schedule my 5 different maintenance appts and 2 Inspection appts on HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Water Heater, Cooling, etc. as needed.
They have now sent me an email 6 months into that plan that they have no longer plan to honor my plan that I had already paid for the entitre year in advance for and not provide the maintenance the items they promised me. They are trying to tell me that my 12 month plan paid for in full 6 months ago in advance is no longer in effect even though there is 6 months left on the term because they have sent me an email saying they have now migrated me to a Perks Plan which basically has no benefits unless you buy something additional from them.
This would be different if I was on a month to month plan, but I am not, I am on a yearly plan already paid for and detailed out to me 6 months ago. Bait and switch and a ripoff.
Sounds like they migrated everyone who had paid for a year in advance to these new plans solely to save money on their part since there is no service provided by these new Perks Plans other than a discount when you buy something from them. They seem to think that they do not have to provide the maintenance services associated with the money already paid to them on the previous plans until which time the term of that service plan expires.
Since moving to Denver in 1999, my hands have suffered greatly. I love Colorado, especially all the sunshine.
I plan to stay forever, even with cracking fingertips every winter because of the low humidity. Bell Home Solutions and Lance Gabriel, the HVAC Specialist, specifically, solved my problem of dry skin and sore throats every morning.
He suggested installing a True Steam Aprilaire 800M Humidifier, which is a steam powered unit that attaches to the furnace. I can now dial in the desired % humidity that I want & the unit accomplishes that level very rapidly! Lance was very helpful in describing how this new humidifier works without pressuring me.
He gave me an estimate over the phone for the Aprilaire unit including installation of the humidifier & the 220 V circuit. This was $2,595.50 and that's what I paid.
Fred Fisher skillfully installed the unit, Randy Walz put in the new 220 V circuit & Krystal Niles received my call & sent me to the right people at Bell. Where to start with this company and the lackluster service.
Last month I hired them to install a new shower valve and adjustable drain for my bathroom remodel. The valve went okay (so I thought at the time) but he looked at the drain like he had never seen one before.
Insisted we needed to hire their "utility services" guy. So I took a second day off of work only to have this second guy show up without even a tape measure.
He looked at the drain for less than a minute before declaring that I would need to jack hammer the concrete and do a complete reinstall for upwards of $2,000. Hard pass! A second plumber I hired came out and in less than 5 minutes had located the drain access in my garage (I live in a multi-story condo) and replaced the drain in under 30 minutes.
Funny what happens if you spend a minute actually looking for solutions! Thanks to this drain debacle they created I lost a week and a half on getting a simple re-tile project done (holidays). Now that it's done and we installed the shower trim there's no water.
Not surprised! I called to schedule time to get them to come review what's going on since I've already paid for a service that includes trim installation and they couldn't be bothered to get someone out in a timely manner. Oh, and they were sure to mention I'm still going to have to pay a fee for the visit.
Real classy to mention charges when a customer is reaching out about a job done incompletely. Don't hire this company, definitely go with someone else.
9-17-19 I just had an outside freeze proof faucet stem replaced on my house. The tech did an excellent job and had it done within an hour and came out the next day after my call in.
He explained the problem and the repair steps as he went. My complaint is the pricing seems outrageous at $438.00.
One hour of labor and a part that costs around $60 (from my internet search) making the labor costs and parts tax at $378. The jobs are done flat rated according to the tech and he didn't know what the hourly rate is.
I had a similar type experience once with Roto Rooter and came away with the impression that their techs were on commission. That price is high enough that I will try another service company next time.
Gouged in Centennial Well it gets better. After a $1018 quote to install the ceiling fan (see my last review) and calling their Mgr of Customer Relations...their solution was to invoice me for a $49 trip charge.
Unbelievable!!!!!! Just had bell come out on Monday to replace a motor which was at least $1000 dollars and supposedly they fixed the motor which was making the noise. Well I don't see any difference from today than yesterday.
When they were here is was quieter than it is today. So now coming back not for another three days.
Not happy. Bell used to be good not anymore.
I called Bell for a basement sink drain that was backed up. I set an appt for Thursday between 3-5pm, they called me at 3:30 to let me know a tech was on the way - the tech arrived at 5:04pm, ugh! He was a nice guy but late is late.
He assessed the situation and decided that my kitchen sink was the problem and he needed to snake through my kitchen sink on the main floor (remember the basement sink is the one that has crap coming up out of it) ok, so he spends the next 2 hours snaking from the kitchen sink with no improvement! He finally calls it quits at 7:30, charges me $275 - ouch! and tells me that I need to have the pipe water blasted for $750 - I schedule it for the next day. Friday morning - 9:30am - two guys from Bell show up and again they go through the kitchen sink and water blast the line for 2 hours - no improvement! Their boss comes Brad (also a nice guy) they decide to take off the toilet in the downstairs bathroom to see if they can find the stack pipe from the kitchen sink and re-route the drain line (not sure how this would help since it is the bathroom sink that will not drain) so they remove the toilet and cut a whole in the wall behind it - no stack pipe! SOOOOO they put the toilet back on (with the whole still in the wall, although the toilet does cover it) and decide that they can not solve the problem today and give me and estimate on what it would take to fix it.
Oh and just for fun while they are out they realize that my water heater is leaking everywhere and I need a new one - fun! The solution for the drain is to cut another hole in my wall under the stairs (that they won't fix, that is another company and extra $$) so they can cut a hole in the floor and re-route the pipe. I also had them give me an estimate to replace the water heater.
Ok wait for it the estimate came back at $8,144 - um are you for real!!!?!?!? I decide to call another company for a second opinion! I call Garvin's Sewer Service at 1:30pm on Friday - they have a guy, Leo (super great) out in 2 hours - he heads for the basement assesses the situation and takes a snake to the sink in the basement (novel idea since that is the one that is clogged) he has it cleared in 20 min for $106 - ARE YOU SERIOUS - Bell almost had me forking over thousands of dollars to clear a blocked drain line. LESSON LEARNED!! if you have a clogged drain, call a drain cleaner not a plumber.
In the past I have had good service from Bell Plumbing and Heating. My air conditioning unit was not working, so I called them in September to make an appointment.
The earliest appointment they had was October 8th. In the meantime, we have had above average temperatures and have just been miserable in our home.
October 8th comes and I have had no confirmation of my appointment, so I decided to call in case there was a problem. It turns out there WAS a problem.
My appointment was scheduled between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Low and behold, I am not even on their schedule! OK, mistakes happen. I asked when they would be able to reschedule, thinking the error was on their end so they would schedule me ASAP.
Nope. They couldn't schedule me until November.
Their error and you want me to wait until November? Really poor customer service. Needless to say, I called another company.
Tech was inexperienced with older model boilers. Instead of trying to figure out the issue just said we needed to replace the entire boiler for $15K...
Then followed up with a salesman that was trying to sell us a new boiler. Thank goodness we got another opinion from an experienced tech because he replaced one part for $600 and we were back up and running in an hour.
Bell plumbing is a complete joke and a marketing ploy rather than experts that you can trust. Do not go with Bell! "BELL, the company that doesn't stand behind their work"- should be their slogan.
Terrible company! What a rip off. Had Daniel come to our home 6 days ago to snake our main line.
Same backup occurred this evening and we were told if we want them out again we get to pay $800 AGAIN!!! "No warranty" is what we were told. Unbelievable.
Have some pride in your work, Bell! Save your money and find a better, more ethical plumbing company that isn't in it to rip families off! These guys were super helpful and honest in answering my boiler questions. I was shopping only for parts, but was also impressed with the showroom displays.
I booked an appointment in early April to have my HVAC serviced and the day before Bell Plumbing and Heating called to reschedule the service because it needed to be a certain temperature outside before they could test the system properly. Not a problem for me and I immediately put it on my Google calendar that they were to return on May 4th.
I called the company late in the afternoon on the 4th to let them know that they had not shown up for my scheduled appointment, they informed me that I was not on their schedule. I live by my calendar, I am a busy person and my time is important, not my mistake.
They rescheduled me for the next day because of their mistake and called me to say they have a technician available and could I work them in earlier than what was agreed upon. I said yes.
The technician then calls me and says there is no parking and told me that they don't service my address because of the parking issues. Nobody in their main office at any time ever mentioned this to me.
He said he would call his office and call me right back. Twenty minutes later and no call back from him so I had to call their office again whereby I was informed that they were canceling the appointment.
I am in the service industry and have been for more than 30 years, this is wrong in so many ways. You can judge every service experience by two words, MAGIC or TRAGIC, this easily falls into the TRAGIC category.
Thanks for wasting my valuable time Bell Plumbing and Heating, I'll make sure to dissuade anyone from using your company to service their needs. This is a 5 star review because I have a 5 star bathroom.
It is exactly as I envisioned. This review is for the remodel division.
My team was Kristy, Robbie, Eric, John, and Nate. I also had a skinny electrician whose name escapes me but he was the only one who could fit into my attic.
We bought our 117 year old home in 1981 and were the third owners. Since house was turn-of-the-century, we knew the only bathroom in the house was an afterthought as our toolshed was at one time an outhouse.
We have upgraded all the guts, added an addition and 1.5 bathrooms, and landscaped. Now it was time for the original bathroom.
For anyone with an old house knows it can be scary as you never know what will be uncovered. Kristy came over and helped design the bathroom from a photo I had been saving.
From that moment own I knew I was in good hands. I chose Bell because I knew they would stand behind their word and because they had a team and a plan that works.
Let's be honest, there is no such thing as a 5 star remodel job because things will happen. But for example, when the vendor sent the wrong shower bench, a new one was delivered the next day.
Most contractors would have moved to another job for a few weeks until they could get a new piece ordered. And let's talk price, I know contracting prices.
I have paid across the whole price line. I know Bell is on the higher end but what I also paid for was a house that was cleaned every night, protective coverings, peace of mind that my job would be completed on budget and pretty close to on time.
I paid for bonded and skilled workers. And in the end after consulting with one last contractor before I signed the contract, I knew that anything that came up (such as a joist that had been cut to accommodate the original plumbing) was covered and most of all we had the same vision.
My beautiful bathroom with all new everything! Overall not far off from the single contractor. I bought my home and found out the brake box and furnace needed to be replaced, Bell came and concured my old home, now I am safe! Thanks to their company and workers the BEST!!! I have lived in Denver for many years and hired Bell Plumbing many times.
A few years ago I had a quote for outside faucet replacement that seemed very high. The tech told me they changed the pricing structure to one that is similar to Applewood.
That is unfortunate because I feel they have competent employees. I no longer use them for my rental properties because they are too expensive.
I contacted Bell for several issues, including a installation of a whole house humidifier, installing a faucet on my roof top deck, and sealing a leak in the connection between my gas grill and the line to the house. I was told I would get a phone call consult to discuss the humidifier, which I never got.
When the technician came out, he told me the faucet was too big of a job and he would have to refer to another department, but that he would request they call me. Again, no call.
He was able to fix the gas line for $530! Mind you, the line was already installed. It appears the only thing he did was use a sealant in the connections between the gas line at the house and the grill, using the parts I already had.
This took 18 minutes. Horrible, over-priced service.
left the job uncompleted. they did not hook up my heater after new gas pipe was installed in home the looks very unprofessional,.
And only spent 3 hours a day here to do work that took two weeks to get done lazy and unreliable This is an absolute 5 star rating of possible 5 stars. I had a furnace failure during the recent cold wave.
And budget issues. So I took the job on by myself.
Tom Sneddon of Bell Home Solutions provided excellent feedback and guidance as I determined what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. Ultimately I did the necessary repairs, successfully restoring the furnace back to perfect condition.
I spent $500 total on parts, not buying anything unnecessary, but buying quality replacement components to make this repair. Tom did not instruct me what to do or not to do, but he did nudge me towards wise ideas and away from the bad ideas.
This would have been a $5000+ repair had I decided to just call a repair service. I'm not advocating that everybody should fix their own furnace, but I am saying that Bell Home Solutions helped me fix my own and I saved a lot of money in the process.
I don't know how a business can be better than that! I needed some simple electrical and plumbing work done, after seeing their new TV ads, I thought I would give them a try. Called on Monday morning, the lady answering the phone said they would send two different crews, one for plumbing and one electric.
She explained that it was $49 for each call but that would be waived when we had the work done. When I asked for an estimate, she said they can't give one but with the small amount of work needed, it "wouldn't be much ".
Well, the electrical guy showed up this morning and job one, which was to replace a ceiling fan with another ceiling fan, would be $400! Forget the other items we wanted done, $400 for one simple job. He apologized repeatedly for not having competitive pricing, but charged me the $49 after spending less than 5 minutes in my house.
I then called to see if I could get a better idea how much the plumbing would cost, we want to have a new faucet put in our kitchen sink. The dispatcher said some mumbo jumbo about measurements and blah blah, so he couldn't give me even a ballpark number.
I feel totally scammed, like the lady who took my appointment knew this was too small of a job for them, so she scheduled me twice hoping to get my $49 x2 just for showing up. I will make sure that no one I know or anyone else in our large neighborhood falls for this ripoff.
Let me begin with the positives. I called them on a Saturday because of a leaky PRV valve that needed to be replaced.
I called at 5:30 PM and their technician was knocking on my door at 7:15 so the service was prompt. Now for the negatives.
The person on the phone couldn't give me an estimate for replacing the PRV valve. This is a common job and they should have been able to give a ballpark price over the phone, even if it's with the caveat it could be higher or lower depending on variables they can't determine over the phone.
This should have been a red flag but I needed it done so I ignored it. The technician took a look at the valve, said he had to go to his truck to do some paperwork and came back in with an estimate of $840.
The part costs $90 at Home Depot so Bell paid less than that. The technician walked out the door at 8:25.
The quality of the work is very good but the price was exorbitant, even for an after hours call. Last week I informed the project "Boss" that two heaters belonging to Bell had been left at my home and that my utility room was a mess and emptied of its contents, never to be cleaned, nor items put back.
I was told that on Monday someone would be here to remedy the problems and pick up the heaters. This morning, Wednesday, I spent 1 hour cleaning the utility room, and with difficulty, returning the objects to the utility room.
I am 78 years old, and I did not do this out of "the goodness of my heart," but because a company did not honor their commitment, and I realized they probably never would. They did not call nor come on Monday.
I paid them $5400 for terrible service and a job that is yet to be completed to our satisfaction. I called a plumber because my sprinkler manifold was leaking.
Initially I was told that the service was going to take a total rebuild costing $400. Turned out that it only needed a simple part (screwed in a simple plastic piece).
The part installed cost $15 at the hardware store, the job took less than 5 min, yet I was charged $400. Extortion! I should have had my price reduced to well under $100.
I will never use bell again, and I will make sure to post this review in other places for others to read! As a customer, I like to be loyal if the company stands by their work. I've lived in my house 15 years and Bell Plumbing has done all our work.
They are professional and stand behind their work. Since being in the house, Bell has done 2 water heaters, 2 Pressure relief valves, a toilet and a shower.
Heath was the last plumber we had we appreciate his professionalism snd service! Caveat: this is for the Parts portion only. I've had to stop in the parts store twice within the last 2 years, and each time I find myself asking why I even bothered.
The salesmen in the back may be helpful, but they always speak to me condescendingly and don't take me seriously. I went in for a furnace part and they misidentified it and I went with another company (303 Heating & Air and they don't charge a service fee, unlike Bell, and were much more helpful and pleasant).
Hopefully next time I will remember this and not waste my time again. On the plus, the showroom is really nice looking.
Our furnace stopped working the night we got home from a trip. It snowed overnight and our house temp dropped significantly and so getting things fixed asap was a priority.
I was personally referred by a friend who used to work for Bell, and called in the morning and Stephanie very quickly returned my call. I outlined our situation and she not only immediately was in contact with their dispatch to set up an appointment for a repair in a couple of hours, but also set me up with an appointment with their sales dept in case we needed a new unit.
Dispatch then called my husband to alert him that the technician was on his way, early from the time frame we were quoted. Turned out we just needed a new igniter and so everything was fixed and paid for within 30 minutes.
I was easily able to cancel our sales appointment and all staff we encountered were beyond friendly and helpful. The ladies I spoke with both knew my friend and even asked me to pass along hellos and well wishes.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience! If you want to be ripped of, by all means call these folks! BE CAREFUL OF THESE CROOKS. They tried quoting me $1,800 to do basic cleaning on my tankless water heaters.
THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THE TRIP TO QUOTE YOU. The customer service tried to say it is industry standard to charge a trip fee.
Yes, it is industry standard to charge a trip fee for diagnosis or repair, BUT NOT FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE for something in which you should already know the cost of. Normal costs for this routing maintenance are around $150 per water heater not $900.
At their cost you are better getting a new tankless water heater every couple of years. On top of that their heating peop
