I was quoted a $395 flat rate (not including new parts), but I wasn't aware there is also a $39 service fee not included in that rate. Just FYI! Colorado Plumbing Solutions is great! They were very responsive and scheduled me quickly.

I got a call letting me know they were running late, but they came right at the time they told me they would after the delay. The work they did was done quickly and well.

Will definitely be using them again! Called Jonathan and to do a quick repair and it was short notice on my part. Jonathan fit me and got me taken care of which was greatly appreciated! I definitely would recommend I was swapping out our shower trim kits and was met with an extremely stubborn tub spout/diverter, and ended up bending the rough-in plumbing to the tub spout trying to remove it.

I was worried I had hosed myself and would need significant demo work to replace the rough-in plumbing. I called Jonathan and he was able to come out 36 hours later.

He took a quick look, assured me I hadn't done any major damage and removed the tub spout for me, without any judgement or harassment for my DIY deficiencies. Once removed, he did one final check to make sure there weren't any leaks in the rough-in plumbing, and was on his way.

Jonathan was incredibly friendly, helpful, and honest. I'll definitely be hiring him again for any future plumbing needs.

This was a replacement project for the pressure vacuum breaker for our sprinkler system. I spoke with Jon, and he gave me an accurate date and time, plus quoted me a flat rate.

He arrived as scheduled, I gave him the replacement part that I had purchased, and showed him where the system was and he immediately went to work on it. called this morning and got me same day appointment, on time, friendly, knowledgeable, reasonable. Easy to make initial contact, but they, like most businesses these days, don't follow up when and how they say they will.

You can call back and leave message after message and no one calls back. So...

not sure how to actually get anything done with them that needs more than one contact. Impossible to get them to commit to a date and time to come out and replace my garbage disposer.

I've Yelped and called; no one answers. I sent my phone number, because I was told they would call to schedule.

Never happened. After a month, I give up! Sad to see in some of the reviews that there was a lack of response but I had no such issues.

They were running late and notified me and that kind of stuff just happens in this industry. But the value I got, I would wait longer! Jon was incredibly reasonable and quick.

Stay away from Speed Plumbing - they were going to charge me to replace ONE valve for what Jon charged to replace 6! Plus, a 2 year warranty. Already passed his info on to a few folks! Great Job! Johnathan was right on schedule, quick to complete the job and had a fair price.

FYI the estimate is actually their "service charge" to drive to the job.

I was going to move on and not leave a review because everyone expects to get shafted by plumbers so that was par for the course. Until today.

The basement flooded because the line augered by Colorado Plumbing Solutions was clogged. This was revealed when I had a different plumber come out today who augered the exact same line and pulled piles of tree roots out of it and did a thorough job for substantially less money than Colorado Plumbing Solutions.

Ironically I got an email today from Colorado Plumbing Solutions saying "Your welcome" I replied to their very considerate emailing letting them know that I had to hire a different plumber to auger the same line and that my basement had flooded due to the line being clogged. Colorado Plumbing Solutions response? "They're shouldn't be tree roots in the line that's an indication that it is broken" Like thousands of plumbers don't auger sewer lines every day across the country clearing tree roots to remove clogs.

What a joke. Attached is a photo of what came out of the line today.

It's impressive how many roots grew into the line during less than two months during winter . .

Had a leak and needed a new faucet, he came out that day to fix it! Very happy with the work performed Jon came to my house and replaced a water shut off valve and associated connection to an exterior hose spigot. A few months later, the pipe that was installed broke open and leaked (luckily I found it in time, and it didn't flood my basement!).

Jon came back out and fixed the broken pipe, however, it was done in a way that now creates 10+ future failure points due to all of the angles and connector pieces. I tried to explain that this was unacceptable, and instead the pipe should be cut back, and connected end to end.

The response to this was: "we have insurance if it leaks again". Unfortunately I now have to hire another plumber to fix the work, as I am not willing to file an insurance claim and lose my basement should all of these unnecessary fittings fail.

The reviews speak for themselves. We had a couple issues that we thought were bigger deals than they ended up being but they were handled quickly and without the huge minimum $ the other companies charge.

He seems like a good guy and it might just be unfamiliarity on his part. The company's responsiveness and communication was quick.

Also, their pricing was more reasonable than other quotes I got. I requested the company to come out to perform a tankless water heater flush.

Upon arriving at my house, Johnathan mentioned that he would be unable to perform the flush because there were two shut off valves that were missing on the tank. He gave me a quote of $200 to add these valves to the service.

He goes on to show me that shutting the two valves that was already installed did not cut off the water pressure. I mentioned to him that I thought that it was because the water needed to drain out of the tank.

He did not agree and being a plumber, I decided to trust his judgement on this. I reached out to my builder to see if there were any issues with the install on the tank as I had just recently moved in.

They confirmed that everything that is needed is installed properly. After watching some videos on YouTube, I decided to perform the flush myself as it did not seem that difficult.

I ordered a kit on Amazon for about the price of the service and completed the job myself. Turns out my intuition was right and additional valve was not needed.

I just had to attach the hose before shutting off the valve to the tank and drain it. My suspicion was right after all.

Only sad part was that I was charged a service fee for them to come out. Oh well, at least now I can do it myself.

Amazing work and honest with his assessment of what needs to happen. He fixed our steel piping, added a water shutoff, put in a new sink with new plumbing, and updated more of our piping to be more modern where we had found corroding pipes.

We have already recommended the business to two people looking for plumbing services. Thank you, Colorado Plumbing Solutions! Was asked to fix the two faucets on the triple sink in the kitchen, and instead replaced the two faucets at the quad sink at the bar and charged $1200.

The estimate was reasonable for the larger faucets in the kitchen, but not the smaller faucets at the bar. Also broke a very expensive ($200) display at the bar that will take weeks to get replaced.

On the plus side, the job was well done, just not what I needed done at the time - I was just hoping to get an estimate on the bar faucets (and getting my kitchen faucets fixed). I was very clear that I needed the triple sink faucets in the kitchen repaired.

The office agreed that I was clear. The estimate did not mention the location of the work and only referred to the scope and parts.

So, bad communication on their end. Jonathan was very short with me on the phone, which is why I hung up.

The conversation was going nowhere. I still have not received a call back from their office.

Booking an appointment was easy. He showed up on time and was in and out within an hour and a half.

4 other plumbers had quoted us ridiculous amounts and had also said the job would take anywhere from 3-4 hours. Makes you wonder what they would've been doing for that long if it could be done well in 90 minutes.

Our water pressure is fixed, no more hammering when we turn the water on!!! Great service! Highly recommend for your plumbing needs! Nothing like being charged $80 for five minutes of him walking in, reattaching one pipe, telling me not to bump it, running the water and leaving. Flat rate fee for the job? I get that you need to be paid but also "it's a poor assembly, don't bump it and it'll be fine" isn't a viable solution.

If you're charging $80, give it a more permanent solution than "good luck". At least it doesn't leak.

At least they got to me within 14 hours and was here right before the window but thanks for wasting my money. Both our sinks in our master bathroom were barely draining, so I was looking for someone to come over next-day and get it fixed.

I got a couple of quotes on Yelp, and these guys had one of the lower quotes, were very quick to respond, and could fit me in next-day. Jonathan came over exactly when he was scheduled to and was super polite and easy to talk to.

It took him like 10 minutes to snake the drain or whatever he did -- then a quick swipe of the card and he was gone -- and my sinks are now draining perfectly. Would definitely call them again for issues like that.

We needed help installing an outdoor faucet. Pretty straightforward except there was a pipe component in our basement crawl space.

I called CO Plumbing Solutions and Jon was able to come out the next day. He arrived 20 minutes late, said it was an easy job, and completed the work in about 30 minutes.

He charged $300 which I found outrageous. He did wave the $39 service fee, but it was still too expensive.

Also, he didn't test the faucet when finished and it leaked badly. I was able to tighten it up but I would NEVER use him again! Yesterday, I had a leaky shower and Jon picked up when I called.

He was very friendly and got me an appointment that same day even though he was booked out. He ended up making it by 1 pm and fixing my very old shower knob.

His price was on the lower end compared to what I found for the typical repair cost for this issue (including the service fee into that price). He diagnosed the issue quickly and gave me an estimate on the spot.

Had Jon out to replace a kitchen faucet that had decided it didn't want to work very well anymore. He was timely, polite, efficient.

Not sure what else to say at this point as my previous review covers all the bases. Still a very satisfied customer.

I am writing you to give you some constructive feedback. I would have to say I wasn't too happy with your overall service, so hopefully this can help you in the future.

1.) You were 40 minutes late with no call, you said you would be here at 10 am and you were not. In the future, maybe give people a window say 10 to 11 a.m.? 2.) You quoted me $140 each and I specifically told you I had my own parts for the faucets (hence installation), so why all of the sudden did you charge me $50 more to install the faucet ($195) 3.) You used my hand towels to clean up the water mess under the sink.

You have a gigantic truck and why you don't carry any rags or ask me if I have any rags is beyond me and then you hung it back up. In the future, I would carry a box of rags with you.

4.) You tried to charge me $50 for installing the pop up assembly in my bathroom when that should have been included in the price for my boys bathroom, the $195 that you already quoted me $140 on originally. 5.) You charged me a trip charge, which I think is ridiculous.

Even when I managed flooring installers, they didn't get a trip charge unless they went further than 50 miles. It says you are based out of Centennial...

If your truck costs a lot of money on gas, maybe you should consider a more economical type truck, there are plenty of them out there. 6.) You charged me $40 parts to come back and fix the leak in which I told you what it was before you came out the second time, so you could have saved yourself a trip if you actually listened to what I had to say or actually inspected it for a couple of minutes.

Plus I want to remind you of the time that you are wasting of mine and my husband's. 7.) I think it is insane that you made $200 each faucet and had an attitude with me because you had to come back out because you didn't even turn the faucets on after the install to check if it was leaking or not.

8.) You are too rushed, need to slow down, and inspect your own work instead of the customer inspecting it at 9 p.m. and then having to coordinate another time for you to come out.

On the plus side, you do have April, even if you pay her $25 an hour, you still made $175 an hour, which again I think is ridiculous. Even though I live in a "big" house, I don't make $175 an hour and just so you know we have worked very hard for where we are today.

Hope you will be more fair in the future and consider what I have to say. We had a positive experience this week on July 20-21.

The plumber who came out quickly and professionally addressed the issue with our shower that we had called him for. Upon discovering another problem, he returned the next day and took care of that also.

He was on time and the costs were reasonable. He also wore a mask the entire time he was in our house.

Great work. These guys were great! April made it a point to communicate as much as possible regarding confirmation of the appointment and even gave me a heads up when John got called out to a plumbing emergency call before my appointment.

John came out early to our appointment today. He fixed two hose bibbs, our sprinkler bonnet, and our main water line valve for close to the same price that another plumber quoted just to fix a SINGLE hose bibb.

We hired these guys based on their great reviews on yelp and quick availability (they were available for a job the next day, whereas all the other plumbers we called were 5-6 days out). They charge a $29 visit fee, which is common and not a big deal, especially compared to the $300/hour they charged, as noted below.

The visit fee does not apply toward the cost of service as it does with some other plumbers. I had a couple relatively minor plumbing issues, both revolving around replacing easily accessible pipes.

I could have done one of the jobs myself but did not have time to get to it that week due to travel. Total time required was under 2 hours (for 1 technician), so your experience may be different if you have a big job (perhaps there are economies of scale).

The guy who did the work took a look at each job first, then estimated that it would run a bit over $600 for the two jobs. Given the nature of the jobs, I thought that sounded a bit high so I asked how they determine pricing.

He said "by job." I tried to clarify if he meant that they determine it based on how much time each job would take and he said, "no, just by job." The theory is that by having a flat fee per job, you'll save compared to an open-ended hourly job. That makes sense if the job is risky or uncertain, and/or if the quote breaks down to a market-standard hourly rate.

Well, these two jobs only took 2 hours (for 1 technician, including time to run out and get parts) and they charged me nearly $300/hour (excluding parts). I think their work was good, but for these jobs it was probably no different than what I would have had with any other moderately experienced plumber.

So to spend more with an hourly plumber for this work I would have had to hire a bumbling fool with no plumbing experience at $150/hour. I'll definitely give someone else a shot for small jobs next time.

That said, I'd like to acknowledge that they provide a 2 year warranty on their work, which is nice should anything go wrong. In this case the fixes were pretty minor and unlikely to have problems, but if I had a big job it could be very valuable.

EDIT: I appreciate the owner's response and agree that we should have had a second quote. That is on us.

However, to clarify, they only had 1 technician, not 2 as the respondent suggested. Not sure what happened?? Placing all our trust on the multiple glowing Google reviews we solicited an estimate to install our toilet rough-in, shower plumbing and vanity for our master bathroom update.

While the estimate for the work was high (in my opinion based on similar installs we have completed) we went ahead believing that with all the remodeling going on and the shortage of plumbers we had no choice plus the high Google rating. Now that the work is complete and we have inspected the final install; I am not happy with paying over $3k for what we have received....

1) the toilet rough in was not centered in the designed space. 2) the commercial grade Kohler shower pan drain was left in the box/not installed.

Instead we have a cheap shower pan drain. In my opinion (hopefully) there are better professional licensed plumbers available in Denver; next time I will not return.

I did a partial remodel of an condo and went with CPS based off reviews and a conversation I had with someone that worked there. Jonathan installed new faucets after I had concrete countertops put in.

Had to have it done in two phases so I wouldn't be completely out of a working sink. They were able to come out the first time without me present which saved my life because I couldn't take off work.

Met Jonathan the second time and he was super sweet. Gave me input on how I might be able to change the rest of my plumbing hardware to a different finish.

Bought a nickel house, but changing everything out to either bronze or black as I am super stingy and didn't want my first home to be nickel. No complaints.

The lady on the phone was very nice but their policy of a $29 trip change and then they will offer a quote for a standard service is not enough information and seems like they are playing games. She also would not quote an hourly rate.

I'd be happy to change this rating if their team would be willing to offer me a real quote for a standard service like this so I have an idea how much this would cost before they come. I called a few companies for a dishwasher install.

This company said they would come to my home to provide me with an estimate, but that if I did not decide to work with them I would have to pay a $20 fee for the consultation. Then they quoted me $360 for a the installation, almost 2-3 times what I would have paid a contractor from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Because I had tenants moving in days later, and no other plumbers were available in the timeframe that I needed them, I forked over the cash and they did the work right away, which was great. The work was they did on the dishwasher was good, but I needed something else done with a water line that required me to arrange to have the water shut off to my building, which required me to involved the management company and coordinate a time between the plumber, building and tenant.

After I made my appointment and the arrangements to have the work done, a couple days later I got a Voicemail saying they had confused my appointment time, and given me a new time during the weekend when it is impossible to shut the water off to the building. My impression after working with this company is that they will do good work for you if it's convenient for their schedule, and if you are willing to pay top dollar.

I am disappointed with the level of professionalism experienced for the price I paid, and do not feel like this company is one I can count on again. I was not impressed with the overall experience.

We had an appointment for 1pm but they did not arrive until 245pm. We asked for an installation of two bathtubs and a sink fixture.

I didn't think I would have to help with the install but with only one person coming for the installation I had to help put the tubs into place. The tubs were not installed properly and had to be worked around by my crew prepping the walls and the team installing the marble shower walls.

Some of the plumbing had to be reworked by another company in order to get our walls properly installed. I thought, based on seeing all of the reviews the experience / quality would be better.

The price was good that was a plus I suppose. When I decided to replace my kitchen sink and faucet I checked out the reviews on yelp.

We called them up after I replaced the tub spout and was worried about a leak. They didn't find any problems (they checked very thoroughly) and there was only a $29 service charge.

WOW! So pleased with these guys right now. I needed a gas line run for a stove and my original plumber cancelled on me last minute.

Imagine trying to get a plumbing appointment the Thursday before Christmas! I called and pleaded my case to the receptionist who told me they just got a cancellation for Friday morning. First of all, he was early! Not a bad thing for me.

Secondly, he was able to do an evaluation, give an estimate and start working immediately. We had already gone through the estimate process with a few other plumbers and they were right in the middle.

Not the cheapest, not the most expensive! Best part! He even installed the stove once the gas line was put in! Merry Christmas to me and thank you so much!!!! Work was done and all is well. He wore shoe protectors to spare my carpet! We had Jonathan install 2 toilets and do a couple other minor things for us after moving into a 28 year old house.

His communication was great from start to finish (from the original response on Yelp to the day he was coming out). He even called the day before to make sure we were still on.

Anyhow, Jon was very cool to work with, and he did a beautiful job with our installations, ensuring the the surrounding flooring looked perfect. You can't tell that these toilets weren't installed at the same time as the flooring was installed.

And even though the job isn't going to be done for a while, he took the time to investigate the walls, crawlspace, etc and gave me an accurate estimate. Usually you get the "call us when you're closer to doing it, and we'll talk about it then".

But Jon treated that conversation like it was something we wanted to do next week. So we'll definitely be using him again when it's time to do our basement sink.

Anyhow, I'd highly recommend Jonathan for anything you need...in a timely manner, competitive costs, and a cool guy to have in your house for a few hours. :) This company knows how to hustle! I called at 12:30 in the afternoon on Friday to help with an install of a new faucet and the lady who schedules booked me on Monday.

Colorado Plumbing Solutions was my third choice, but after trying to get ahold of 2 other plumbers and getting no call back, it was a pleasure scheduling with them. They were scheduled a week or so out, but when the plumber did come he was early and fixed our toilet in a jiffy.

Customer service was phenomenal! I'm planning to call them again when our water heater needs to be replaced! I had a severely leaking faucet in the bathtub and water pressure throughout the house was about half of what it should have been. The "easy" fix was replacing the gaskets for the bathtub and the more challenging fix was figuring out why the water pressure was low.

They determined it was the water conditioner, which was clogged. Once that was repaired, water pressure returned to near normal.

However after they left I noticed they had not unplugged the water conditioner, though they said it was not plugged in. I unplugged it.

Further, they acknowledged that the pressure for hot water was not up to par, yet they did not attempt to fix it. Did they not know how or were they overly concerned about getting to their next appointment on time? Given all the five stars they received on Yelp, I was hoping for better.

Not sure I'll use them again. Work done in a jiffy.

I had Colorado Plumbing Solutions provide a quote for fixing a running toilet and one leaky sink because with two little ones it's hard to find the time. They quoted me $460!!! I did the work myself which was exactly the work they quoted in less than an hour and for less than $30.

Tried to handle the clog myself but my hand auger wasn't long enough to get all the way down to it. After an annoying Sunday of trying to fix it myself, I gave Jonathan a call Monday morning and he was able to come out that afternoon.

Took him about 30 minutes to look at the issue, run his big auger down the drain and reassemble all the pipes underneath. Even added a new washer to my piping that was installed with one too big.

We did our research and reached out to four plumbers/companies in the area for quotes. Their quote came right in line with the smaller plumbing companies (vs the big logo trucks) and our guy was very knowledgeable and professional.

We actually wanted the more production high recovery water heater than a smaller one. (Meaning, they didn't try and sell us something we didn't need) They were able to install the same day in about two hours! They hauled the other one away and went over the functions and how to flush it.

. THIS CO IS HONEST....A RARE FIND! In the past, we have received nothing but excellent service from Mainline.

We have used them on 4 different occasions to do scopes for different properties we've purchased. The most recent time, however, was a swing and a miss, and regrettably, they have declined to accept any responsibility.

We purchased an older house that had an addition built on many years later, and as a result, there was more than one drain line going into our main line out of the house. Dewayne came out and scoped one of them, and told us everything was in great shape.

We came to find out after moving in that there was a severe blockage in the other line of the house causing major drain back ups, and necessitating us having our concrete patio broken to access and replace underground pipes. We called and asked why they didn't scope both lines coming off of the house, and Dewayne's response was to say that if we wanted the other line scoped, we should have told him it was there, and requested that he scope that one as well.

Based on our previous experiences with Mainline and the high level of expertise I believed them to have, I wouldn't have thought they would need direction about which lines coming off of the house needed to be scoped. I'm not an expert on plumbing or sewers--that's why I hired one! The end result? We didn't have any inspection objections on the plumbing because "everything looked great," and now we're on the hook for a several-thousand dollar pipe replacement due to a months-old blockage that should have been found at inspection.

The most recent was our property on Osceola. Mainline did the initial sewer scope before we bought the peoperty, there was one low spot they recommended fixing.

We did fix. During the sale of the house, the new buyers did another scope, they found cast iron debris in the line.

Our contractor tried to tell us it was plaster. Which we knew it was not.

The contractor had his plumber come and try to rooter the drain. He assured us he got it all out.

When we asked Mainline to re-scope it for us, they found the debris still in the drain. Because we are such good customers, Tommy tried several things to get the debris out of the line.

Mainline got to our property quickly after the prospective buyers of our house claimed to have found a flat spot in our home's sewer line where it ran under a city street that "had to be repaired." Michael Nutt from Mainline did an inspection and found the area in question wasn't as big as was claimed, was not impeding water flow, and did not need to be repaired. He had seen this shady tactic before and knew we were getting taken.

Shortly later Duane phones back harassing me for business and makes very personal comments about his former employee, never mind berating his new "office manager" for having no more responsibility past answering the phone! I politely declined the service. Christian? I have used this company for years and it used to be great, when it was just the owner Dewayne.

But he now has a bunch of people working under him and does not do the sewer scopes himself. Recently we had a sewer line scoped by one of his employees, the employee could not get into the house from the clean out, so he just went inside and scoped out.

He said the line was in great shape. Well, a few weeks later the buyers moved in and toilets started backing up, causing major issues and an emergency call to a very expensive plumber.

Turned out the line was broken. After this happened I called Dewayne for his help in resolving the issue.

He was immediately defensive and refused to admit his employee had made a mistake. We talked about this for weeks and he was very uncooperative and combative.

I assured her, Mainline is a great company and they would help. I was absolutely blown away when the owner of the company, Dwayne, showed up within a few hours, took exceptional care of her, paid to have everything repaired, and even paid for carpet cleaner.

I called up Mainline Plumber and Matt Palmer used his investigative skills to find the source of the problem at a y-intersection that the cleaned outs were not covering. He explained the issue in detail with evidence from camera video and even worked to clean the issues with the camera.

I had a sewer scope done at a property that we were buying. We found a $3500 issue (on a fairly new home) that we were able to get resolved before making the purchase.

Mainline recommended the exact fix and verification steps to ensure the job was done right by a contractor of the sellers choice. The communication and follow up was excellent.

I didn't NEED to do it right away. Then I tearily said okay.

I'll do it in 2 months. Then he reassured me that there was no TRUE timeframe to get it done.

Weird, right? I talked to my parents and they said to get a second impartial opinion. I decided to go with Mainline, because of their great reviews.

Mainline charged $99 for the sewer scoping and long be hold they found roots and baby wipes in the pipes. They are definitely trustworthy.

A potential buyer of my home hired AAA Services to scope my sewer for their home inspection. AAA said I had a hole in the sewer and a belly that needed repaired to the tune of $13225.

I about had a heart attack. My realtor insisted on a second opinion and we hired Mainline to come out with their HD camera and take another look.

The hole in the pipe turned out to be a piece of schmuck, and the low point is self flushing with no evidence of any clog there ever. A 3' long low point in a 200' run is a non event and doesn't need any repair.

You could tell on the video that sewage has never even touched the top of the sewer pipe before or after that spot. What I like about mainline is 1.

They explain exactly what you are looking at and why something is or isn't a problem. and 2.

They have no vested interest in the results of their inspection. They are going to make $99 whether you have a problem or not.

Dustin was out last week and was very professional and thorough. It would be helpful to have the preferred vendor list available at time of visit as I ended up having to go a more expensive route to get my kitchen back in working order.

I contacted Mainline after I had the basement drain back up and 2 snake attempts didn't work. They were able to find the source of the blockage with their camera and then flag the area so my plumber would know where the issue was.

We recently used a sewer line cleaner that left a lot to be desired and inaccurately diagnosed a problem with our main sewer line, claiming that we needed to call another company known to him as we may be looking at a need for sewer line repair.

That led to some suspicion as it had not been 5 months since Mainline Services inspection and the line had been repaired less than 3 years ago, so we were less than convinced of what this technician was reporting. We called in Mainline Services to repeat inspection of the main line and they were more than happy to do so and even charged less because it was our second time using them.

We requested to have the same technician come around as he was more familiar with the line and we generally prefer working with one technician for any job. Robert Peters has been our service technician and will remain our service technician if we have anything to say about it.

He truly represents what the company is about, which is providing great service to all their clients and going above and beyond to educate clients of what are concerns and what are not (all within the realm of his job of course). I highly recommend Mainline Services to anyone needing a mainline scope or 2nd opinion of the state of their underground plumbing. I had my main line back up a few nights ago.

Water seeped into finished areas and ruined some carpet and boxes in storage. It was around 9pm at night when we noticed so when we called the next morning we took whomever could get to us earliest.

What a mistake. If only I knew at that time about Mainline Services, I would have saved money and slept better.

The first company came out and after running water for 10 minutes and no backup we concluded that the most likely culprit were some wipes that were flushed the night before as we have a child potty training. Note to anyone, those advertised "flushable" wipes are not disposable.

We went ahead and snaked the line to be sure and he had trouble getting it through, so we called in a scope. After the scope, they tried to tell me that I needed to irrigate to jet out the build up to the tune of $5800, which later was bargained down to an even 4k.

Um, no. So we called in Mainline for a 2nd opinion.

Robert showed up promptly for the appointment and walked me thru a lot of the video scope and advised that if there had been anything with an issue, it was gone and needed nothing except routine cleaning/maintenance. His detail and explanations made me feel confident that he knew what he was talking about and that he wasn't trying to sell me on something.

5 stars to Robert and to Mainline for having genuine and knowledgable teammates! Not only did your assurance save me $4000 but I can sleep better at night knowing I don't have to worry about sewage seeping back up into my house. These guys and gals are top notch! First, I called on Sunday, just expecting to leave a message.

Low and behold, a real live lady picks up the phone. (+1) Then, she tells me, why yes, they can squeeze in a sewer scope the very next day at 1p.

(+2) The next day, Robert shows up, right on time, does a quick review of the property and plumbing and gets setup with the camera equipment. (+5 stars all around.) I have been referring Dwayne & Mainline to my clients for the last 3 years, and he has done 25+ sewer inspections for me and my clients. I also have Dwayne scope all of my personal residences and investment properties.

Dwayne has the best HD equipment for a sewer scope, which is important so that something isn't missed. I especially like that they can digitally flip the camera so we are not all standing there hanging our heads upside down.

I think the most important part of the sewer scope tech is explaining when/why there is an issue, and that's just something that takes a ton of experience. It's not always black & white, there are a ton of gray (and brown) areas when it comes to these sewer lines.

I have done sewer scopes before where I knew more about the line than the tech, just because I have seen so many of them. Anyone can stick a camera in a sewer line, dissecting where there may be costly issues is a whole different animal, and can ultimately cost someone a lot of money ($4,000 - $15,000) if an issue is missed.

Most of the techs out there have less than one year experience, yet they are evaluating something that can be very costly or terminate a Real Estate transaction. Mainline explains any issues in a way that is easy for anyone to understand, and will do free locates if there are issues found.

Locating is identifying where the issue is (yard, garage, street, etc) and marking the depth and precise location. This is helpful when contractors come to give repair quotes.

Mainline doesn't sell plumbing repairs, so their scopes are not biased towards costly estimates. Trust me, you don't want your scoper to be a big plumbing company, they always want to sell you a brand new line (go figure).

Mainline will also talk to both sides of the Real Estate transaction, helping buyers and sellers understand what issues truly matter. And if you do get Dwayne, the dude is just plain funny and always has a big southern smile.

I recently met Dwayne for a scope and he told me that he is writing the first training manual for all Colorado scopers, it's fantastic and tells you the amount of experience he has and how he stands by his craft. Mainline Services just came out and ran a sewer scope on my property. I called and asked if they could help me understand their diagnosis.

The lady was very rude. She basically said no she could not.

She said she didn't have a copy. I told her I could send her the report, and I also asked if I could speak to the technician.

She said no that she could not help me understand it. She also said that I could not speak to the technician unless I paid another $99.

She kept saying that paying $99 was a small price to pay to help me understand exactly what was going on with my sewer line. We just paid them $99 this week to do that.

She was very rude, and kept trying to talk me into paying her another $99. Yesterday, a guy from ARS cleared my sewer line and told me it needed to be replaced and they would do it for $15,000 minus my senior discount, which made it $13,223.

I called Mainline Services and John did an inspection today for $99. He assured me that there was nothing wrong with the line, except it needs cleaning which should have been done by ARS.

So after an evening of stewing over a huge expense, it was great to be rescued by Mainline Services. John was friendly, professional, and efficient.

They saved my in-laws from doing thousands of dollars of unnecessary work that was being recommended by another company called Rooter Town. I am posting a separate review for them, but strongly suggest avoiding them.

The short version of the story is that Rooter Town came out to unclog a backup. After doing that they told my in-laws they needed to replace the first 10' or so of pipe near their house.

They dug a giant trench and replaced the first section of pipes. Afterwards, they kept finding new problems and pressuring my in-laws to do more and more work, up to and including replacement of their entire sewer line.

They claimed that a breakage in the line and/or more clogs were practically a certainty in the near future. As the work and costs kept increasing, we called Mainline for a second opinion.

Mainline was able to come out within hours of speaking to them on the phone. Their inspector, Matt, was very polite and got to work right away.

He sent a camera through the entire sewer line and showed us the screen that he was looking at. He explained everything that he saw along the way and even provided a DVD of the entire finished inspection.

Matt was professional, friendly, and answered all of our questions. He disagreed with all of Rooter Towns assessments and told us we should not worry about breaking the lines or clogs in the future as long as there were standard preventative cleanings done.

Matt also found that they had not correctly leveled the pipes that they had replaced and it was already starting to back up with water. We were able to get that fixed, but declined any further work with Rooter Town.

I explained it was nothing personal. I asked bad things as in giving me wrong information? He said no, she was doing weird things and stuck in a rut with her life!! Love these guys, Quinn is a saint. I had some issues with my water heater doors from the install and he gave me wonderful discount on a toilet rebuild.

Unfortunately during the rebuild the tank broke but Quinn was a sweetheart and replaced the toilet without trying to charge me for a new toilet. I went into it a little guarded given past experiences with other contractors. I wasn't expecting this level of service.

It's no exaggeration to say that Front Range did an amazing job. The original owner of our house installed a water softener system which, in my opinion, really wasn't needed.

The water in Loveland is already soft! So I hired Front Range to bypass the system. It took three hours, but Chad did an outstanding job of installing three bypass valves; he also replaced PEX piping that was too close to the water heater vent, and installed a drain pan under the water heater.

All in all a five-star experience. Quinn came out to do our quote; Scott and Chad came out to finish the job.

I can't say enough about these guys. I have owned multiple rental properties for 10+ years and I've never had a sub/service company as conscientious and helpful as Quinn has been.

In the past six months he's made several trips to a few properties and impressed me each time with his knowledge and true desire to help. One call was for a problem with a shower diverter which two other plumbers had told me I needed to tear out all the tile and install all new plumbing, very costly.

Quinn came by for something else and I mentioned the scenario with the shower. He ended up coming up with a solution for a fraction of the other guys price.

I think it was under $150. The next time I needed some plumbing and electrical work done on another house, and I could not get an electrician to even call me back.

I was stressed because it needed to be done in a few weeks to comply with the city. Quinn not only took care of the plumbing stuff, but he took the time to ask me exactly what electrical work needed to be done, then called around and found an electrician for me.

Prior to that, I had called literally ever electrician in town and they were weeks if not months out. Quinn's electrician was there in a few days.

I couldn't believe that someone would go out of their way to help like that. That is a VERY RARE occurrence in the industry.

The last time I needed him he came right away on a Friday night to check out a water heater issue. He could've easily replaced the water heater and made some good money on it.

Instead he put a temporary fix on it after he noticed it wasn't all that old and advised me to call Rheem and get a replacement since it should be under warranty. The guy is smart and takes pride in his work and helping others.

Ill be calling him for sure in the future! So our water heater broke and flooded on Friday night. We called one place to come out on Saturday morning and they quoted us at almost $4000.

So we decided to get a second opinion. I called Quinn at Front range.
