My wife and I recently moved into our new home. Before we moved in, but had the house, we would come by every day or two to check on things.

Unfortunately, we didn't think to open the cabinets during our checks until a few days before move-in. When I opened up the cabinet under the sink, water had been leaking from the cold water pipe and soaked into the whole back board of the cabinet.

I could tell where the leak was coming from and was even pretty sure I knew what needed to happen to fix it, but I didn't have the right tools and I was afraid I'd make things worse if I got involved with no experience in plumbing. When I called, Mr.

Hoping that the reviews were right, I decided to wait for him to come out in a week, despite not being able to use the dishwasher, kitchen sink, or water from the fridge, because I'd rather have someone known for doing a great job than call one of the corporate chains.

The majority of the cost was because of the distance. Mr.

Martinez doesn't mark up his prices on parts and actually showed me his receipt so I could see he didn't try to overcharge me. I've never had someone be so apologetic for their service charge! It wasn't cheap, but again this is because of the distance and the charge was fair for how far he had to go.

Even then, it was completely worth it to spend extra so that Mr. Martinez, an expert in his field and a very professional, friendly, and kind man overall, could fix the sink for me.

I can't speak to their service in person, because after calling for a quote, the person who answered the phone came across as patronizing, impatient, and kind of rude. I found another place that quoted me a price that was $5 more, but they were polite and friendly.

I'll pay 5 extra bucks to not feel like I'm being treated like a moron. Leroy was on time, and fixed the fireplace without having to replace parts.

It just needed to be cleaned. Since he is also a plumber, i called on him to replace 3 bathroom faucets.
