Friendly service. I called Bob Roberts plumbing to look at my Rheem hot water heater because it wasn't working.

Instead of telling me it was still under warranty and a call to Rheem to do simple diagnostics was available, I was quoted over $350 for a diagnostic visit and then any work to be done would be added to that. I would have been happy to have them call Rheem, perform the diagnostic tests and charge me say $200.

But I strongly feel it was very unprofessional to not even make me aware that my unit is under a long term and comprehensive warranty. I have heard good things about this company but I will not call them again.

Bob really knows his stuff. He has no problem fixing something to save you money.

I have been using Bob for over 27 Years and he very professional and honest. I trust him with all of our plumbing.

I had Bob Roberts come to my old house in Agoura and then we moved, so I had to find someone else. We moved back to area and found he was still working! but before I began, Lets be clear; The owner himself seems to be a good-hearted guy and works hard! His hireling on the other hand is not...He is rude, reeks of smoke, has a absolutely terrible attitude, repeatedly brushed pass me "touching me" on purpose as a form of intimidation, tried his best to block my camera when filming their work (documentation for lawyers) and kept rudely and loudly saying, "Excuse Me..." as if I was blocking his work... Side Note: this house is under surveillance system and you can clearly see I was always out of their way...

If Bob Robert's plumbing shows up alone you get a solid plumber, if he brings his hireling you may ask to reschedule. Bob repaired the leak between tank and bowl.

After he left, toilet would not flush properly. Water did not disburse around toilet bowl rim, only in the back.

Toilet left dirty and tissues not flushed. Called Bob and he said the toilet was old and needed replacement.

He asked that I pick up a toilet from a local distributer at his cost and he would install the new toilet at his labor cost. I called another plumber and he found that Bob cut out part of the Kohler gasket to rig a universal gasket in its place.

That's what caused the problem. The universal gasket did not fit and clogged the ports for the water to disburse under the bowl.

The plumber went to Home Depot, got the right part, installed it and the toilet was fixed. Bob should have done that from the beginning.

Instead, he lied about the toilet having a plastic liner that corrodes and clogs and almost got me to buy a new toilet. I called Bob about this.

He accepted responsibility and apologized. Our pilot light went out on our water heater leaving our family with cold showers! I called Bob Roberts.

He called back right away. We will be using Bob Roberts Plumbing when we need a good knowledgeable plumbing service again in the future.

He is the BEST! We had a slab leak that he was able to repair without damaging the floor and when he left the area he did work in looked perfect, like it had never been jackhammered, drilled, sawed, or dusty. No more leak and pressure issue resolved! He gets my ultimate vote of confidence and will always be the guy we call when we need plumbing service.

Also his fee is more than fair and he's a really nice guy :) Wow what a great plumber Ihad a leak on a Saturday with company coming Bob came out right away and did an excellent job fixed the leak got the water back on and made sure everything was working and clean. Great job Bob would absolutely use and recommend to anyone who needs an honest plumber! Bob and his worker did a great job changing a hot water heater.

Came in and were quick and to the point and cleaned up after themselves even spraying the carpet down. They did not do bare minimum, took the extra step of adding disconnects to make any future change easier.

He came to give me a quote on a leaking sewer pipe under the house about an hour after I left him a message. He did a great job finding the leak and repairing it PROFESSIONALLY in about 4 hours.

He even pulled out some old pipe left under the house by another plumber. He put a clean-out under the sink for no extra charge and did a video scan of the line after the work was done.

I am an engineer so I recognize and appreciate good work. Robert did great work at a fair price.

Change me a lot. On Monday, he came back and took his sweet time so that he spent just over an hour to change me an hour and a half.

After the first plumber never even showed up and the second plumber I called didn't want to work in the attic since it was too hot that day, Bob Roberts came to the rescue. Even though it was almost 100 degrees that day, Bob climbed into the attic and repaired my leaking hot water pipes.

When I needed the service it was immediately as my old heater would not stay lit after I had the gas turned off and restarted due to tenting fumigation. He quoted $1000 for the same water eater somewhat different due to updated requirements.

However, on Lowe's and Sears websites I later learned that no comparable heater was more than $700 and most were $5-600. it took his assistant 2 hours to remove and install the heaters.

I will not recommend him to my many friends whom I learned are currently looking for a plumber. I wish I'd read the other reviews before I hired him.

His attitude was intimidating. He quoted me $125/hr, but then showed up with another person working with him, so the charge became $200+ even though it was a one person job and the job took one person less than half an hour to complete (there's a one hour minimum).
