Our big-box Rheem water heater died on Friday (after only 8 years of light use), but by Monday, I had a brand spanking new Bradford White 50 gallon gas water heater up and running. Master plumber Kevin, and his able assistant John, did a meticulous job on the installation, which had its challenges: my home was built in '59, with the water heater squeezed into a tight alcove.
I also have an ECOsmarte water descaler sharing the same tight quarters. But Kevin and John got it done.
Also, shout-out to Steve Faller Jr for helping me get an extended 10 year warranty which even covers a cracked tank -- which 90% of the time is how these things fail. My 9 year warranty on the Rheem, in hindsight, was a complete joke -- fully covered only for the first 2 years and replaceable parts only for the next 7 years.
While I normally do DIY jobs around the house on weekends, the motor in our kitchen garbage disposal burned out & I was not going to have time on the weekend to fix it in a timely fashion, so I reached out to Accent Plumbing on a Friday & they sent someone over on Monday morning (8/1). Jordan Dye was prompt & got right to work & finished the job in record time.
He even helped us with a quick fix of a shower handle that had mysteriously broken the day before. Could not be any more pleased with the quality of service & value of the job - thanks! Fast response and job was done quickly and efficiently.

Didnt call or show till 2:30pm. A call would have been nice, but there was nothing.
I went and got pizza because we had been waiting for awhile and were hungry. Coming back I couldnt park in my own driveway or on the side of my house and asked them if they could just back up a little so i could park.
The way the neighborhood is shaped I couldnt park anywhere else. The comment that one of the guys made was uncalled for.
If its such a hassel that they dont wanna be there or do the job we could have gone through someone else. They were fast to tell us whats wrong and which parts to get so they could fix what we needed.
We had to reschedule for them to come back because we didnt have everything they needed. They were very knowledgable about everything.
Although they did an okay job, I cant recommed them and I dont think we would be using them again. They left us with a leaking shower that wasnt leaking before.
We called and the guy sounded inconveniced that we had a drip. He asked us if we wanted him to cancel his other appointments to fix the drip.
We said no because we didnt want to take away from someone else who was waiting. He said he would try to fit us in the morning around 8am but he had other appointments.
The morning came but he didnt and neither did a call. Finally showed up at 4pm.
2 days wasted sitting and waiting around wondering when they were gonna come. Time managment seems to be very poor along with communication.
They didnt spend a whole hour which we paid for the first time and you would think if their work wasnt right they would not have a problem coming back and fixing it or checking before they leave. A customer shouldnt have to make a choice whether they cancel someone elses appointment or not.
Putting that on us wasnt right. They should allow enough time to get the work done or if something were to go wrong to fix it.
Also if your gonna be 1 hour and 30 minutes over an appointment time at least call. Accent plumbing always does top-notch work.

In this case, Steve #3 took the time, and had patience with me, as he fixed my toilet tank - and today it works PERFECTLY! Awesome service: I'll let the time line speak for itself: Tuesday, 11am, I notice my water heater is leaking in the garage. At 3pm, their technician Darian is here, diagnoses the problems and determines that the water heater is not fixable.
Wednesday, 9am, he is back with a new water heater. At 10:30, I am taking a hot shower, enjoying life :) Great service, friendly people.
We had problems with our water softener and they resolved everything. There was a little communication problems in the beginning but by the time all was said and done I was very happy and that's what matters.

This time they ended a chance I'd ever use them again. I have an upstairs shower that unexplainably started releasing sewer gas after 20 years of service.
A-Accent hasn't found the reason for the odor coming from the shower drain after two visits, over a week apart, and then recommended a third visit to do a smoke test. One of the Jims there hung up on me because I told him I was a long time customer and wasn't f%#!happy with their service.
Meanwhile, they have left an insoection hole cut in the ceiling for a couple of weeks. That's the plumber if you could recommend a contact for drywall repair, he couldn't.

I attemped to remove the PVC trap under our sink and the old glavanized pipe behind crumbled into my hand. We have a home warranty, but they denied coverage since I was the one who "broke" the pipe.
The company they sent out quoted me a price to fix the problem, which didn't include the repairs needed for paint, drywall and reinstalling a bathroom vanity. I decided to get a 2nd opinion.
I called Accent and they came out same to day to assess and give me an estimate. The estimate was about 1/2 what the other vendor quoted.
I gave them the job. The next morning, Jim was at my house and started work.
He worked diligently the whole morning and completed the job in 2 hours less than estimated, which ended up saving me even more money. I had an issue that my main water line to sewer was blocked- causing back up into my 2 bathrooms. Plumber fixed the issue with 2 toilets not flowing and it was fixed short term.
1 day later the issue has reappeared- so primary issue was not fixed- I have attempted to call them back to see if they will honor the fact I paid them $360 and core issue not addressed ( primary clog in main line that was not properly fixed) Thus far they have not returned my calls. To be clear- they did fix the immediate issue - but primary cause of my problem was not properly addressed.
03-18-19 We've used Accent Plumbing several times now, and they never disappoint. We normally have had Steve come out, who is awesome, but today Travis helped us out and did a fantastic job.
Our shower needed a cartridge replaced, and when our DIY attempts proved disastrous, Travis fit us in to his schedule and was in and out in good time, especially considering what a nightmare our hardware is. He was nice, prompt, and professional, kept the space clean, explained what was happening, and resolved the issue perfectly.

After seeing that the original toilet from 1952 would not stop leaking and my water bill got up to $78 (usually 15) I bought a new toilet. I called some guys on craigs list and then I called Accent plumbing who I used 4 years ago to install a new TOTO toilet in our home.
They also replumbed all the old cast iron pipes to copper in my house back in 2001. I read the bad review but though what the heck...they always did me well so I will give them a call .
So long story short they took out the old toilet and perfectly reseated the new Kohler toilet and the whole thing was done in less that 2 hours and they were right in line dollar wise with the quote a gotten from some guys on Craigs list.(who I was not sure about) I also learned that the two bad reviews they got were from an employee who is no longer there. So I waited 5 weeks since they did the install of the new toilet to write the review and all is well and perfect.
The plumber who worked on my job was named Shannon.(Irish ) He is older and experienced. I think that if you talk to people straight and tell them what you expect of them...then they will deliver as you requested.

A slab leak occurred at the end of us updating our house. To ensure we had no more problems and that we had water for the holidays, they repiped all the remaining lines in the slab so we don't have to do this again.
This was not our first slab leak. They were respectful to the other contractors we previously had scheduled to work on the house.

Plummers worked about an hour. Charged $112.
Less than 5 minutes after they left I called to tell them there was a leak under the sink. Waited a couple of days without use of the sink for someone to come back out.
The guy spent a few minutes tightening screws where the disposal connects. Fixed the leak.
Asked while he was there if he could check the flush on the toilet. Another 5 minutes.
2 weeks later sent a bill for $115. When I called was told there was no guarentee for the sink not to leak.
I said it leaked as they were leaving. Told I owe the trip no matter what.
Very argumentative. I happened to mention that I owe for the guy looking at the toilet.
Well now that's a trip charge in itself! Case closed! I was a good customer. Will never use them again.
