We had a blocked sewer lateral line with tree roots. We needed it hydrojetted to clear the roots and also had a mystery smell in one of the bathrooms.

Our plumber, Brian Solis, was extremely polite, helpful, and kind. The mystery smell turned out to be the kind of disgusting problem that puts most people off ever considering being a plumber and Brian handled it with aplomb and grace.

He answered our questions and I am genuinely grateful for his time and attention. Thank you Brian! The other thing that I really appreciated as a consumer was that Bayshore gave me an estimate over the phone.

They replaced our water line in the driveway, jackhammered and repaired the concrete seamlessly (3.5 hours from the first cut to the last bit of trowel) and installed a new laundry box with precision. They also quickly fixed a gas leak and installed a seismic valve for added safety.

The PVC pipe for our hose gave out due to prolonged exposure to the hot sun, causing significant flooding outside (thankfully, it didn't reach the inside!). I tried to find a shutoff valve to stop the flooding but had no luck (i looked but it was nowhere to be found).

Chris, however, managed to locate the shutoff valve, which was buried under half a foot of dirt, finally stopping the water flow. His quick action saved my Friday, giving me the breathing room I needed to coordinate the necessary repairs with my landlord.

Nothing out of the ordinary or difficult, just a kitchen faucet. I got it done for $150 and it took the plumber an hour.

Shop around before hiring a plumber! I had called this establishment to install a water heater I previously purchased. The plumber came out and gave me a bid to install after inspecting the unit and the previously incorrect unit my general contractor installed.

After accepting the bid we arranged a day and time for him to come out . After texting with him a few times that day he finally told me late in the day he needed to finish a job he was on and we arranged the a time the next day.

He made it the next day and installed the heater and he said there was no gas shut off at the heater area and would need to shut off the gas at the main. No problem I thought and install a 35.00 valve into the line he had already said he needed to reply MV in the previous bud.

Lo and behold he charged me an additional 600.00 to shit off a valve and for the extra valve that I felt was an overcharge and only took him 30 min longer than originally planned in the bid. Outrageous overcharging for sure.

I could have shut off the main myself if I knew he was going to charge me that much to do it. Buyer beware people.

Jose and Juan came during the promised time window and explained what they'd be doing. They quickly got to work and realized that snake wasn't enough to unclog the drain.

So they went down to the crawl space and took the parts apart, assessed the t-junction pipes, diagnosed the issue and removed the corroded materials. The shower is running nicely now and I can't thank Jose and Juan enough to really nailed the tough job.

Very helpful and I understand sometimes when they don't speak English, but they care that's all you can do was a great job I had a problem with a leaking toilet and I wanted to get it fixed ASAP because I didn't want to damage my floors. I had someone else give me a quote, but it seems high so I contacted Bayshore.

Not only were they able to come on Sunday morning, but they came on time and did the work quickly. Within an hour they had replaced the leaky toilet and removed the old one.

Brian was very knowledgeable, took his time to check various issues and the crawl space which was far more than previous plumbers had done before that my landlord had sent out.

Unfortunately, I'm renting and the problem really starts with the fact that the pipes are original, so he couldn't fix the garbage disposal issue today, but I at least have more information to give my landlord and I understand the problem better. He fixed a small toilet issue - no problem! I appreciated everything about this process and will reach out in the future if needed.

Definitely recommend this company. When the technician came onsite for an estimate on our sewer injection pump issue it took him less then 10 minutes to assess that I need two new pumps replaced for a grand total of $10k and that he does not do "small tweaks" to see if it could be something more minor like replacing the floats.

He did not check the panels, did not test the alarm or the sewer clean out, like other plumbers did. But ONE thing he did do that others didn't was lift one of the pumps out of the tank to check the brand using a shovel and then proceeded to dump it back down.

I vividly remember this because some sewage got on him and he wasn't happy about that. Later the same day, I got a second opinion from another plumber, and coincidentally they noticed that one of the pumps was not working, was completely displaced with a broken piece and obviously disconnected (see photo).

HMMM....there's no way that we as homeowners could've broke the pump causing a broken piece and displacement and other plumbers before him did not move the pump. When I texted the technician and asked if lifting the pump out of the tank could cause it to be disconnected he said no...but how can that be? I'm not an expert but to take the pump out it becomes disconnected to the pipe? I shared the photo of the broken piece and he said other plumbers could've done it...when I literally witnessed him dump the pump back down back into the tank.

He obviously denied responsibility and then had the audacity to ask me to schedule a job with him. NO THANKS! Well needless to say this "free estimate" is actually causing me to now replace the pricey pump that probably didn't need to be replaced in the first place.

Would NOT recommend this company whatsoever. It is a shame because we are a veteran family and like to support veteran businesses.

Mariano is the BEST!!! I called Bayshore to get an estimate on replacing all of the drain pipes in the duplex that we own. Mariano promptly showed up on time, and he did a thorough investigation inside of the various crawl spaces, and provided me with 3 different options.

He then clearly explained each option, including the pros and cons, and provided good pricing for each of the options. He and his crew not only did a great job, but they went above and beyond.

In addition to replacing all of the pipes, they inspected all of the pipes under all the sinks to make sure they were working properly, and made adjustments if they were not. The team did a good job cleaning up, too.

Other places only charged labor $150 - $225 with provided parts. Not sure what's the logic to charge that much Good service but the price needs to negotiate , they mentioned that I need to pay $900 more to do a good job --- Hyper jet cleaning to get more permanent solution, otherwise only one week of warranty on their job.

The team showed up within another ~15 minutes, resolved the problem (a stuck and clogged disposal) and were gone again 15 minutes later after cleaning up the area under the sink - cleaner than it was before they arrived).

Our water heater started leaking at around 9:30am and we were able to get a same-day appointment. Eddie & Celso were here at 11:30am to assess the situation and by 4:30pm, our new water heater was installed.

Worth mentioning that our water heater was in difficult tight spot and we had outdoor furniture blocking the entrance. Not only did they replace the water heater but all of our stuff was arranged properly back to their original positions.

Thanks, Bayshore! When we travel out of town, I make it habit to shut off our water valves to our plumbing fixtures to safeguard against any leaks. On our latest return, I turned all the valves back on, but I was unable to get hot water to flow from our kitchen faucet.

My suspicion was that the valve failed. I had another plumber we've used before stop by to check it out.

He said the valve was fine, but we needed a new kitchen faucet. For what he quoted, labor and parts would be north of $1,000! Being skeptical about the recommendation, I called Bayshore Plumbers based on positive Yelp and NextDoor reviews.

Bayshore came out the same day and Ivan took care of the problem. He explained the diagnostics that would be done and provided an estimate of the diagnostics and likely remedies.

He was able to quickly confirm that the valve had failed and mentioned that these valves are made of cheap plastic parts. He offered to replace the valve with a 1/4 turn brass valve that would hold up better.

He got the job done quickly... so I asked him to replace other valves.

Thanks to Ivan and Bayshore Plumbing, we got our hot water running in no time and feel much more assured that our new valves will last much longer. Was having problems with an error code on my tankless water heater (which was installed by another company).

I called Bayshore as they were certified in Rinnai products and Jose showed up on a weekend and was courteous and very knowledgeable about their products. He even showed me how to reset the water heater if problems cropped up in the future.

I later had to replace a part on the product and Jose was great with communication, sourced the new part, and replaced it promptly once it came in. Would recommend Bayshore in the future.
