Pipe-Thru arrived on time. Quickly ran their camera through and told me that the pipe is good and nothing to replace.

It was just undersized for the size of the yard. What the other $9000 company told me was a breakage in the pipe, Pipe-Thru said was an intact tee, which made sense because it was near a downspout.

During the project, it was unexpectedly discovered that the sewer line was set in concrete. They spent extra hours breaking the concrete without extra charge.

I would certainly recommend Pipe-thru to anyone who needs to have their main sewer line replaced. After finding out the damage that was done over time to the GI pipe, some due to time and the remaining due to the bad plumbing that was done while the house was being put together ( directly connecting GI to copper pipe causing electrolysis resulting in rusting and choking the GI pipe) I reached out to Jose and team amongst others to find out what could the best and fastest way to replace the pipe.

Jose was the first to show up and I was pretty impressed finding out about the trenchless technique to do this job. Most of the other vendors that came out to estimate recommended digging open the lawn patch , and then fold it back once the pipe was laid in ( definitely not the same landscape anymore).

Eventually agreed upon with Jose (his pricing was the most competitive amongst all the estimates that were quoted to me) to proceed with this and he and the crew came and did a fantastic job today. There were a couple of minor issues that they could improve on. The cost was competitive.

First project. The sewer pipes underneath my house are all cast-iron.

Many of them are corroded and have been acting up lately. I've gone through a couple of other plumbing shops, and both of them shown videos of how bad the pipes were.

I've then decided to replace all the sewer lines underneath the house. Jose's quote for the job was more competitive than the others.

Based on Yelp review, we chose Jose's Pipe-Thru. One caution, Pipe-Thru tends to be very busy.

On the scheduled date, the crew showed up early, did a good job, and finished on time, as promised. I did not go into the crawl space to check.

Looking through the crawl space openings, looked like they did a good job. They also cleaned out all the old pipes.

On minor negative is that between the 1st and 2nd job, they have to put a temporary pipe between the new pipes and the old pipe between property foundation and the street. This temporary pipe was not sealed/tied-down in anyway.

So the sewer was leaking between the 1st and 2nd job. They could have done a better job w/ this temporary pipe.

Second project. We also wanted to replace the sewer pipe between the property foundation and the street, also adding two clean-outs at the two ends of this replacement pipe.

We chose Pipe-Thru for this job as well, to be done the next day after the first project. Again, on the scheduled date, the crew showed up early, did a good job, and finished on time, as promised.

The technology that they used was pretty interesting. It prevented from digging a long trench from the property foundation through the front yard.

I now appreciate what "pipe-thru" means. The city needs to inspect this 2nd project.

It was scheduled more than a week after Pipe-Thru put in the new pipe. On the scheduled inspection date, Jose showed up before the inspector and prepared everything.

The inspection went through smoothly. On the next day, Pipe-Thru showed up and completed all the loose ends.

Overall, Pipe-Thru did a good job on both projects. They also cleaned up (mostly) after they are done.

They also finished on time. There were a couple of minor issues that they could improve on.

The cost was competitive. A minor minus point here: After I've made the final payment, I'm still waiting for my final receipt (usually email), after 2 days.

I'm also still waiting for an email/text/phone-call from Jose about an issue that he discovered during the inspection. BACK STORY: we had previously used another plumbing service to repipe our entire home in March of 2020.

We were also very happy with them, but they were not available on a moments notice; thus I found Pipe-Thru Plumbing. After the above mentioned repair, we were still having back up issues.

As it turns out, all of the connections from my clean out near the sidewalk to the middle of the street were virtually either clogged with roots or in some cases not even existing. Like most tax payers, I called the City.

They had a solution, they would dig up the street, my pavers, my brand new sidewalk, my paver pathway to my house and my yard. Not interested in that, I called and spoke to Jose.

He and the city came together and made the entire repair in less than 4 hours. The city opened the street while Pipe-Thru dug a hole in my yard.

Juan and his crew then used a pipe bursting method to place a new pipe from my existing cleanout to the street. The city made the connections to a new pipe they placed in the street to the main, Pipe-Thru made the connections in my yard and put EVERYTHING back better that I could have ever hoped for! Also, did I mention that they came out on a moments notice and were affordable.

Everything is perfect and I could not be happier with the results. Jose and team were wonderful.

On a workday evening, both bathrooms in the house started backing up. The next day, one plumber used snake and showed me root penetration into the sewer pipe in front yard.

Amazing team! I had a sewer pipe that kept backing up and overflowing into my front yard. I called 4 contractors: 3 of them said i simply needed to reline the pipe.

Pipe-Thru Trenchless said the pipe had sunk in one part on the yard due to settling and had probably gotten partly cracked. Being an engineer myself, something told me to go with this company.

They quoted also half the price of the other companies! When we dug up the pipe it turned out Pipe-Thru Trenchless was 100% correct. The pipe had cracked due to settling.

If i had used any of the other plumbing companies that offered to fix it via pipe relining, my sewer pipe would still be backing up. I needed to find a pipe under my cement patio and have it capped as there was a bad leak backyard that prevented me from having the water on inside the house. I've been dealing with this for almost 3 weeks for a variety of reasons.

Many contractors had come to fix it, but none were able to fully address it until we found Pipe-Thru. During the heavy rain over a weekend in January 2018, water poured in and flooded the second floor, then went all the way down to soak large portion of the carpet on the first floor.

Some of the ceiling tiles got so wet and soft that they just dropped to the floor. I called many companies the moment I got there and at around 3pm found Pipe-Thru Trenchless Plumbing who was the only one could come out the same day and it would be at 5pm.

Due to the wet weather and rush hours, Jose informed me later that he would need additional 45 mins and asked if that's ok. Water was still flooding the roof at the time and we desperate to get this problem solved, so I agreed.

Jose arrived shortly before 6pm and started working right away. He snaked the pipe and drained the water.

Debris were accumulated overtime and blocked the water from going down causing overflow every time when there's heavy rain. Within an hour, water went down the drain.

Jose told me that was just a temporary fix because there was something stuck in one of the vent pipes a few feet down the roof where there's a 90 degree turn because his camera was unable to move pass that point. He needed to come back when there's not rain in order to open that section of the pipe and see what's in there.

Two days later, Jose came back and opened that section. We saw a deformed soda can stuck in there.

He removed it, cleaned the pipe and completed the job. It has been more than year now and no more leak in that area ever since.

Overall, Jose is very friendly and professional, able to correctly diagnose the problem and fix it. The cost is also very reasonable.

This was our third company to give a quote. Jose was the only one who bothered to actually look in the sewer line with his fancy camera and understand what was going to be required.

He worked with us to find the best access points and gave a quote that was significantly less than the others. (Other shops had fixed rates regardless of scope.

The team showed up early and made quick work of the install. It was impressive to watch them work and they were very respectful of our lawn, using boards to collect the dirt and setting the grass layer aside to be replaced later.

We only had water off for about 2 hours while the pipe was replaced. Trenchless is amazing, and saves the lawn from a lot of damage.

We had to use a combination of techniques as it was possible to burst the existing pipe under the ground for a section, but not for another section, encased in cement. For the encased section, we used a pipe lining solution.

This overall project was pretty costly, and was not a pleasant surprise for us, but we had to do it because the sewer line was showing signs of advanced corrosion which would lead to a collapse. If the sewer line collapses, a trench-free approach is not an option any longer and the overall project is even more expensive.

I had a drain problem in my kitchen. One plumber came to my house and tried drill snake and bigger ones (which did not work out) and concluded that i needed a $1.8k hydro-jet.

After that i talked to a few plumbers and Rena was able to help out. The drain problem was fixed soon after Rena's arrival, and he helped me with a bit of re-piping, so that next time it will be easier to insert a snake.

Unfortunately we were not able to negotiate the price as the plumber had a fixed prince! It was definitely on a higher side. The problem originally reported, got fixed but another problem resulted as a result of the first fix which turned out to be additional cost though we agreed upon the initial price.

Hello All, First time I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Steve was a call for help when our laundry flooded the garage not once but twice.

We didn't realize the kitchen was connected to laundry, so when we washed the dishes, it flooded the garage again. Posted a request for quote via Yelp and Steve came to our rescue!! On a Sunday afternoon.

He tried to snake the clogged pipes but it was no use, as they were packed solid.. see photo's He recommended the waste pipes needed to be replaced and said he'd be back in the morning.

Right on time and again friendly attitude. Once he was under the house he noticed a few things..

the cast iron drain pipe from the hall bathtub was leaking and had a huge hole. Also there was a lot of pipes hanging down with the wrong materials used prior plumbers, not to mention the debris.

Very happy customers!! I called Steve at 4:14pm with a stuck drain, and he drove away before 6pm, leaving me with a bathtub (and kitchen sink) draining better than it ever had before. My house was built in 1947, and it is a bit funky.

It took some extra work to get this done, and he did it without a complaint. Steve fiddled with the tub (and reassured me that I wasn't imagining the stuck stopper that prevented getting a snake through there) and fiddled with the kitchen drain and wound up on the roof trying to hydro-jet the drain through the vents.

When that didn't work, he snaked everything from under the kitchen sink. He was cheerful and friendly and polite throughout, and wore a mask (COVID times, you know) and was just a pleasure to deal with.

And, did I mention that he showed up in around an hour? Khoung is such a honest gentlemen, we had a snaking job to be done at a kitchen. He recommended replacement of the drain section.

It wasn't urgent so I asked if he could come first thing Monday morning. Arrived promptly and remembered me from his first visit to our home.

Steve found that our fill valve needed to be replaced. He provided an estimate on the spot, which he already had the parts for.

He explained that this would be a quick job no problem, but for the cost, if I were to buy my own toilet, he'd just do this install and charge for labor, coming out to just a little more for a brand new toilet. He told me it's our choice and either option is fine by him.

We went with the new toilet. I placed an online order for same day pick up at Home Depot.

Steve came out the following day and replaced our faucet. He even came back a few days later to add the soap dispenser that came with the faucet and re-caulked the area around the sink that was moldy.

That day didn't start well as not having a sink on such an important day is going to be a huge inconvenience. I started calling plumbing companies and many were either not open or couldn't come on the same day.

On the verge of giving up, I stumbled upon Local Local Plumbing and I was originally a bit skeptical of the relatively few (but very good) reviews. Out of desperation, I called anyway and the call was quickly answered by Steve.

I explained the situation to him and to my surprise, he said he could come as soon as noon once he finished his current job. Steve arrived exactly at noon.

He was courteous and he listened attentively to not just my kitchen sink problem but also my long standing bathroom sink clogs as well. He said he would take a look at the bathroom issues after he's done with the kitchen.

When Steve came into the house, he took off his shoes without being asked to. He started working on the kitchen sink immediately and efficiently, and he kept the working area neat and clean.

Unfortunately, after trying two different snakes (25 feet), Steve concluded that the clog was deeper than the snakes were able to reach. He asked about the availability of the crawl space, and he suggested checking out the pipe from the crawl space to find an alternate solution.

After Steve suited up for the crawl space, he went down and spent about 20 minutes assessing the situation from below. When he came back up, he identified where the clog was and suggested to cut open that section of the pipe, cleared out the clog, and re-attached the pipe back.

He also offered the option of replacing the cut section with new pipe if the clog was too difficult to clear. I thought this was going to be very expensive, but Steve gave me a very reasonable price.

After gathering all his equipments and materials, Steve went back into the crawl space again and started working on the new option. While in the crawl space, he called me and kept me appraised of the progress.

After he was done in about 45 minutes, he stayed in the crawl space and called me again and had me prepare a sink-full of water and flush it down in one go so he can check for leaks. I was very happy to see water gushing down the drain and no more clog.

When Steve came back up, he went outside the house to take off his now very dusty suit, tidy himself up a bit, and came back into the house to check the bathroom sinks. He quickly identified the problem - he cleaned the drain stoppage on both sinks, and gave me some advise on how to regularly maintain the sink to minimize future clogs.

And Steve did not even charge for taking care of the bathroom sinks. I would rate Steve a 6-star!! In my 30 years of home ownership and being landlord to multiple rental properties, I have never come across a plumber as friendly, patient, respectful, and professional as Steve.

The drain pipes under the kitchen sink were corroded, leaking and needed to be replaced. I put out a Yelp quote request and Local Local Plumbing responded and was able to come over the same day.

He quoted me $150 to replace the pipes and another $150 to snake the sink drain pipes which was working but slow. He replaced the drain pipes under the sink then snaked the main drain pipe from an access port outside the house.

He then told me my drain was clogged with grease and the drain pipe under the house needed to be replaced at a cost of $1200! When we turned on the water I could see a huge new leak developed where the drain pipe connected to the wall. He told me that pipe also needed to be replaced because the end was damaged but I could clearly see several inches of good threaded pipe on the cast iron pipe.

I told him that was not right and he needed to fix the leak. He again attempted to seal the pipe using silicone sealant which he said required 24 hours to seal.

24 hours later I turned on the water and the pipe no longer leaked but my drain was now completely clogged. I called him again to inform him the drain was now completely clogged and wouldn't drain at all now.

He again said the only option was to replace the pipe at $1200 in addition to the $300 I had already given him. Nothing about this sounded right so I called another plumber who said it was highly unlikely that grease alone could clog the pipe so it couldn't be snaked to clear it.

He also said if the pipe was corroded shut or damaged he could replace it for around $300 plus parts. I had the 2nd plumber come over and he was indeed able to snake the drain and clear it.

I called Local Local and told him I had another plumber snake the drain and it was working fine and that he needed to refund the $150 portion of my bill for not properly snaking the drain. The next day he refunded the $150.

Local Local Plumbing is five stars. We had a total back up of our plumbing, we had someone come out to snake the main clean out with no success.

I tried to fix it myself by a small auger first (25ft), however it did not work. I then contacted certain "elite" rooter company, they quoted me $289 to run a long auger through, but that still did not solve the problem.

Had to pay anyway. They offered solution using hydro jetting (~$1.8k) or pipe relocation (~$4k) as my current pipe did not have enough slope, which was likely the cause of the clog.

He replaced my drainage pipe and some other connected pipes (detailed work below). Tony (i.e.

Loi) is - straight forward and comparable with pricing, - on-time, - works quickly, - hard-working - and keeps his word. I called Tony on a Saturday regarding a slow bathtub drain and toilet and a leak underneath the house.

Without even asking, Tony came to my house the next day to inspect the issues. Tony recommended to replace the waste pipe and the pipe from the washer in the garage from cast iron to ABS plastic as it was corroded and leaking.

I was expecting the waste pipe to need replacement as it was the original pipe a house installed in the 1960's. He also said that the toilet was an old water saving toilet and that there are better faster draining toilets.

Therefore, he recommended to replace the toilet if I wanted a faster draining one but not an urgent need. Tony came the next day with one other guy to complete the work.

They completed the job in one day and provided a three year warranty on the work. During the repair, a few other connecting pipes from the toilets and the bathtubs also needed to be replaced due to it deteriorating.

There was added cost to the work but it seemed like a reasonable recommendation. He also recommended to eventually replace the main sewer pipe to the street as it had a slight leak.

The wall to the outside of the house needed to be cut open to replace the pipe from the kitchen sink to underneath the house. They patched up the hole and did a great job with the outside pattern.

I need to just match the paint (keep a piece of the stucco) and paint it. They cleaned up afterwards.

Don't expect it to be pristine though. You'll likely want to clean up some more afterwards.

One thing though was that the other guy used up all my paper towels without asking. It's minor.

Overall, very happy with the service. Will schedule the toilet and main sewer pipe replacement later.

Initial consultation: We were having trouble with the drainage from our washer, and it would leak all over the garage floor when draining. I had a few people consult on work and price, ranging from simple standpipe replacement to hydrojetting.

Loi from Lucky Rooter came out, and actually went to do an inspection under the house. He suggested a whole pipe replacement for the laundry, as well as the drain line from the kitchen! It was going to be 2x what the hydrojetting would have been.

I took a day or two to think about it. I'm glad I made the choice to go with Loi's suggestion, and here's why: He seemed really knowledgeable about what needed to happen, and after researching, the galvanized pipes were about at the end of their life anyway, and I didn't want to have to call a plumber again in a year for the same job.

Once I saw the pipes come out, I was amazed to see that there was about a 1/2" opening left in a 2" pipe. No wonder why things weren't draining! Not long after that, a sewer clog manifested again (tree roots had to be rooted out about a year ago, and this is something I knew would happen again), and messaged Loi again.

They came out the same day to get the preliminary work started. There were permits to get, concrete to remove (for some reason the existing sewer cleanout as buried under the driveway pavement.

Later found that the water heater needed to be replaced due to water leak from water line for a long time damaging the water heater. I then reached out to Lucky Rooter & Plumbing.

I was talking with Loi (Tony) at almost 5PM on May 10th when I was looking for someone to replace a water heater that I would be purchasing from HomeDepot. Loi was suggesting me to use a better brand of water heater but unfortunately I had limited time so got to get it from HomeDepot.

He said he could help and could get it done in a couple of hours, and was able to help me pick up the water heater and water supply lines from HomeDepot near him as well. While he's still at HomeDepot, his crew was sent to remove the old water heater.

His team was very efficient and got the job done nicely and cleanly in just about 2 hours as he said without charging anything extra as he quoted reasonably. At the end of the job, Loi brought to my attention a couple of issues that he saw on the water shutoff valves when he needed to shut off the water to the water heater for replacement.

Another 5-star review! What can I say, he's just that awesome! :) We bought a brand new LG dishwasher from Home Depot and the delivery/installer wasn't able to install. They noted because the water line connected from the sink to the dishwasher was not a standard size (parts came with the new dishwasher were shorter).

Also, they advise calling a handyman instead to do the job and left. Now we have dishwasher machine just chilling in the living room :/ What to do? Who to call? Immediately, I thought of Loi.

Honestly this saved our Mother's Day this weekend! We noticed Friday night that our sink was backing up and when I turned the dishwasher on there was overflow from that into our sink too. But nothing was leaking underneath the sink cabinet or the dishwasher.
