I called the plumbing service at 9:30 AM, and they came within 2 hours, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was very professional.
They tried a regular drain snake but had to switch to high-pressure water, which finally cleared the clog after a second attempt. After cleaning the drain, they used a camera to check for any damage.
Thankfully, there was none, just an extra T-shaped section before connecting to the city sewer line. They also used a detection machine to show me where it was, so I could add a drain cleanout there.

I am not a successful adult. What comes with being a successful adult means being able to troubleshoot simple issues such as your home's water heater turning off.
After our water heater turned off, my mom and I had no idea what to do next. Since we didn't want to take the chance and ruin things even more, we decided to call Trieu.
Trieu and his coworker (employee?) were able to come over the next day to see what the issue was. Turns out, it was a simple issue and fix.
Trieu explained to us what happened, some tips, and told us how to contact the water tank's company if we had any further issues (if the tank itself ends up being an issue in the future). What stood out was Trieu showing my family and I how to fix this issue and what to look for.

I gave them a shot, Duc and Vu came to my place to replace laundry valves. Mine was gross and corroded and leaking.
Also wanted them to change out the shower valve since I had a slow leak. They suggested I needed more work on my shower valve and told me what is needed.
However didn't pressure to change it out soon or this will explode. They said it is ok and if it gets slightly worse then call them.

The owner Trieu is also very honest. There is a hose bibbs that i thought is leaking but he explained it's due to a water pressure adjuster on the bibbs and is totally normal.
I asked him if I need to add a neutralizer to my condense water drain which lead to a pvc pipe. He said pvc is resistant to acidic condense water so I do t need to install a neutralizer.

You took care of a mess for me that I could not solve on my own with professionalism I haven't experienced in a long time in the service industry. My electrician needed me to remove and cap an outdoor hose bibb that was too close to the electrical panel, and that I never used anyway.
I couldn't remove it because it was painted over and calcified. I sent out for quotes and Trieu was quick to respond and provided a competitive price.
We exchanged some messages and he and his team were here two days later (it was a no-rush job) and they got the work done in 15 minutes. I'm very pleased with the results and I'll keep them first in mind next time I need other plumbing services.

Thank you Trieu for your help! Our washing machine was causing the pipes in the walls to reverberate constantly whenever we washed clothes because of the high pressure. Trieu answered right away, and came out the same day! After diagnosing the problem and offering a couple of solutions, we decided to try the cheapest and least invasive (a damper directly on the intake from the water pipes to the washer), as well as reducing the overall water pressure to the entire house at the street level.
Both fixes worked beautifully, and now the walls/pipes are a lot calmer as a result! Highly recommend Handy Rooter because of his expediency, knowledge, and friendliness. I despise giving a bad review.

You may end up paying a lot more. The callout was to replace the toiled bowl and, in the process, they advised that the angle stop and supply line required replacing because the stop was stuck.
Fair enough, but they charged us $175 (25 part + 150 labor) just for that! My wife who attended accepted the charge. I found it over the top, so I called them the next day and I asked them how this charge is justified.
The owner said that yes, it was a 5-minute job but they would not charge extra if something was going wrong and they warranty the work for a year. I'm not convinced.
The charge is as if something WILL go wrong, every time. I used another plumber to replace a second toilet bowl in my house and they charged me $65 for replacing the angle stop and supply line.
And the job was just as good. Quality work.
