I'm getting really sick of these guys that come to our house, and just spend the minimum amount of time to satisfy the job, leaving things looking crappy and in some cases barely functional. I'm also getting sick and tired of contractors that when I don't specify something to an exact T, they do a $#!% job and then blame me for not being specific enough.

We had an Electric Vehicle charger installed at our house, and like--should it really have been up to me to specify, in advance, that we didn't want big fat plastic electric conduit lines running along the front face of our house? I thought things like that would have been obvious TO NOT DO. That's why we hire professionals.

So they'll install it properly--out of view. Well, So-Called-Professionals is what they should be called.

Oscar came the same day and gave me a reasonable price.

I accepted the quote and they did the job very quickly and nicely. They cleaned the area when they left.

Overall it is a nice experience considering the price and speed. My house developed a sewer belly a year ago and I finally decided to have the sewer line replaced.

The company that discovered the sewer belly (Company A) told me that it was under my driveway and they would take out bushes and part of the driveway to replace it. I called Peninsula Plumbing for a second opinion and estimate; when Baldomero came out, he went under my house (which Company A did not do - they only used a camera); he told me the problem was under my house, not my driveway, and drew a diagram of my sewer line.

I called Company A again, and they were adamant that the problem was under my driveway. Baldomero then put a camera through the line and showed me exactly under my dining room where the problem was (he's able to track the underground camera with a sensor).

I gave him the job and was very, very happy with the results. His crew was extremely tidy and very nice; they kept me informed about everything they were doing.

They also did a power wash to cut some tree roots that had invaded the sewer line near the street. The cost was reasonable (and far cheaper than having part of my driveway replaced as well as unnecessarily losing some landscaping).

I had a bathroom faucet that had low hot water pressure, and was noisy when I turned on the cold water. Baldomero was able to fix the low hot water pressure.

He said nothing could be done about the noise, because of the design of the LED faucet. He came within his estimated arrival window and was quickly able to trouble shoot.

I had a potential clogged air gap that I wasn't able to resolve myself so I put out a request on Yelp for jobs pretty late in the evening on a Saturday. Not only did Baldomero respond to me within 30 minutes, but he showed up the following morning towards the beginning of his two hour time estimate.

He listened to our issues and tried to troubleshoot based on the symptoms that we noticed. Unfortunately (fortunately?), we weren't able to recreate the issue as it looked like it may have resolved itself, but he went ahead and cleaned out the systems and gave us some DIY suggestions to try for next time as well.

His rate to come out was fair and he offered a discount to us in case we do have another issue down the line. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience with Baldomero and would use him for future services.
