Who can say that about a situation that requires plumbing service? They also arrived same day! Was recommended by another plumber so that also says something! Excellent! From the first call with Maria, the receptionist, she quoted me a price immediately (for sewer line camera from our cleanout all the way to the street + video for me to keep).
We set up an appointment very soon, and Justin came out today, 7/15/2024. He was very professional, no nonsense, and completed a camera line inspection from our pipes all the way to the city line.
We had more questions, and he patiently and professionally spent his time explaining in laymen's terms the details of our plumbing system. Most surprisingly, there was no upsell! Justin just told us the problem spots and offered short-term solutions and long-term solutions, none of which were outrageous, and all of which were consistent with our knowledge of our pipe system.
After, Justin gave us a USB of this video, which was incredibly well narrated and specific, describing each frame that the camera scope was pushing through. I've hired a few different plumbers in the past few years, and each of them were dishonest, unprofessional, refused to give me a price quote upfront, obviously lied to my face, and tried to upsell services by thousands of dollars right on the spot.
These unethical plumbers in the past would then do a half ass job and complain, all the while acting like they were doing us a favor. So I was pretty jaded and discouraged when I needed to find a plumbing company for this job.
But I am so happy to have found Buri Buri Plumbing! Buri Buri Plumbing, thank you for being an honest and ethical company with honest and ethical plumbers who care about their clients! You have my loyalty and deepest gratitude! I asked my classmates on our Alumni page if they knew a reputable plumbing company? I had several choices but settled on Buri Buri plumbers. I believe in my classmates and wasn't disappointed.
Maria who took my call was extremely cordial (I was not paid for this review) She managed to fit my mom in the very next day which caught me by surprise. Teddy, the service guy was awesome.

I have used Buri Buri a few times in the past and they have always been very responsive and done very good work. I'm finally getting around to writing them a 5 star review because of the honesty and expertise they showed with my latest plumbing repair.
Last week, the cartridge in my 25 year old shower valve was leaking so I called two plumbers: Buri Buri and another plumbing company with thousands of Yelp reviews and a 4.7 star rating. Buri Buri: "We can replace the cartridge, but it will take two visits because we need to figure out what parts to order." Buri Buri bills by the hour but gave me an estimate that it would probably cost ~$500 + parts.
Other highly rated plumbing company: "Your shower valve is really old. We won't be able to replace the cartridge.
We will have to cut the dry wall behind your shower and replace the shower valve. That will cost you $2,985." I went with Buri Buri and have a working shower again.

Had Buri Buri over to my place to fix/replace the shutoff valves under my kitchen sink.
They recommended some better quarter turn valves versus the regular twisty valves with washers (which failed). The way I see it, I don't want to have to replace shutoff valves ever again.
So I'd rather spend a tiny bit more $ for a better, longer lasting solution. Do you remember that great scene in "Moostruck," where Vincent Gardenia says, "It costs more, because it saves more."? Anyway, price was fair, folks showed up on time, and got the job completed on time.

Rich is such a knowledgeable plumber. He was extremely responsive to our request and told us how to shut off our water heater overnight, so he could stop by first thing the following morning to make the repair (our water heater's pressure value had broken, causing water to flow like a river from our outside pipe).
He was not only timely with his commitments, but also thorough. Before performing the work, he did quite a few diagnostic tasks to ensure it wasn't a pressure issue rather than a valve issue.

Rich and his team were such a pleasure to work with! Rich went out of his way after work to stop by for an estimate and had his guys out the very next day to swap out our water heater. Not only did we feel like we got a very fair estimate, the work was timely and excellent, and we felt like we were working with old friends who had our best interest at heart.
Rich Campos reached out on a Sunday after I left a message that my pedestal sink is draining water upon releasing the stopper. I sent him a photo of the Duravit sink and he came back to explain the process which could involve taking the sink and faucets apart.
He sent two technicians Monday early morning and finished in two hours and replaced the p trap plus replace the faucet tubings. I am so happy the sink did not break as they manage to get their hands into the tight space behind (my first one collapsed as two men pulled the top and forgot to support the pedestal! I end up replacing the sink plus new faucets).

Buri Buri Plumbing was quick to reposed, courteous and very professional. I had a major leak in a front yard irrigation pipe.
The technicians came right away, found the break and repaired the pipe. It was a big job that required lots of digging.
The next day, they were able to plug another broken irrigation pipe so that I would have water until the pipe could be replaced. They also did a beautiful job of rebuilding an older toilet.
I greatly appreciated the speed of their response. Rich, the owner and his crew are experienced, versatile, and capable.

My mother-in-laws water heater went out around noon. After speaking by telephone with the receptionist about the model of water heater needed, Jack and Rich (the owner) arrived within an hour, removed the old unit and installed the new unit.
Completely professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. They also changed all the old hoses, valves and vents that connect to the water heater.
Even better.....they cleaned up the mess the old water heater made to such an extent I didn't even realize there ever was a problem! What a smooth process. Its upsetting and inconvenient enough to have a plumbing problem.

Buri Buri Plumbing has come through for me several times, all in the middle of a crisis and they're reasonably priced, dependable and very pleasant to work with. Rich has really gone the extra mile, notably during the atmospheric storm we experienced in October 2021 when I know that his team was slammed, and he literally saved the day and gave our issue attention and concern that felt way beyond the norm.
I had my toilet swapped out to a new one and the entire experience was smooth and great! Rich provided an estimate over the phone and we were able to set the appt. that worked well with my schedule.
John came to do the work and he was courteous, well equipped, and was able to finish the job without any hiccups. He cared about the bathroom tile and made sure to clean it once he pulled up the old toilet before installing the new one.

When we were told (by the person who installed our new dishwasher) that our ancient garbage disposal was on the verge of collapse, we immediately looked for plumbers who could replace it quickly. We found Buri Buri based on its excellent NextDoor reviews, and they delivered! I sent them an inquiry via the website late Wednesday night, and received a response by 8am Thursday morning.

I thought I could clear the master bathroom drain but several days of plunging and home remedies it wouldn't clear. Buri Buri sent John.
He arrived on time. He cleared the drain, tested it and checked all the plumbing connections.
We asked about a few more problems. He had time.
He discovered a screen below the shower drain in our newly remodeled master bathroom shower and cleaned it. It was running slow.
We were impressed with his expertise and knowledge of the problems. He explained what he was going to do and alternatives if his approach didn't work.
Buri Buri's philosophy is to start simple and try to fix the problem before getting complex and expensive. The simple fix worked for us.
John was here almost two hours and we felt the fee was fair considering that the problems were fixed. We called Rich, the owner, to praise John.
We learned that Buri Buri is a union shop and the plumbers all go through a five year mandatory union training program. And unlike some shops Buri Buri's plumbers are paid hourly and not commission for upselling repairs.

Not only does Buri Buri Plumbing respond to urgent plumbing needs, they provide above and beyond awesome customer service. Jack came out to fix a leaky cast iron clean out behind our washing machine today.
He was polite, hard working and very thorough. He was nice enough to let me watch the procedure as well.
The old cast iron pipes were full of roots and mud which he snaked out 3 times. Sending a camera thru the pipes revealed probable cracks where the roots grew in.
The problem was fixed for now with a recommendation to clean out the pipes yearly, or replacing the pipe line in the future and explained the process for that. This is the second time I've used Buri Buri and will again in the future.

I sent an email request from their site and they called me the next day and scheduled a plumber to come to my house that afternoon. John showed up and was able to take care of the clogs in my shower and sink fairly quickly.
He even offered to wear a mask while he worked in my house. When he was done he cleaned up and wiped down all surfaces.

Their team redid an entire sump pump system for us and also cleaned out a drainage line in our backyard. Ended up being far more work than we/they expected it to be, but they got it all done in a day and cleaned everything up nicely afterward.

When you've got a broken kitchen drain line under a slab that contains a network of copper radiant-heating pipes, repair is disruptive and expensive. You've got to find the break, tear up the floor, jackhammer through the slab and radiant heating lines, fix the break and then put the whole thing back together again.
Cooperatively with Rich at Buri Buri, we came up with a creative solution that allowed us to regain the use of our kitchen sink without tearing up our kitchen. From the start, Rich and his team were responsive, resourceful and knowledgeable; they scoped out the job and gave us a realistic bid, arrived on time and worked efficiently, and thoroughly tested the completed system to ensure that it was working properly.
After poor to awful experiences with many different plumbers, the experience we had with Buri Buri was entirely different and vastly superior. We were very impressed with Rich and his team, and now consider them our go-to plumbers.

My initial visit with Rich Campos was very pleasant and positive. I felt like I could trust him from our first encounter.
We used them for all of our plumbing needs since we moved in. Now 7 years later we are remodeling our kitchen and we knew that Buri Buri would be our choice for installing a new gas line in our house.
I started working with Rich in April discussing my needs and preparing for the time we were ready to install the line. Rich has been so helpful to me throughout the whole process and gave me advice based on his experiences and this was invaluable to me.
So yesterday (8/1/22) was finally the day to install our gas line. Jeff and Jack showed up ready to work and boy did they work hard.
It was a full days job. They were both very easy to work with and willing to answer my questions.
In the end they walked me through the job and I have to say I was very impressed and happy with the work they did. It was actually beautiful! The new outside line was so neatly done and I could tell was very solid.
I had never experienced putting in a new gas line before so I learned a lot. The work on the inside of the kitchen was equally beautiful.
The shutoff valve was installed different from what I expected but made total sense when they explained it to me. Today (8/2/22) was the inspection.
Teddy came to meet the inspector and prepared the line after the inspection. Their work passed inspection without question.
Now we can move forward with finishing our kitchen renovation and look forward to finally having the gas range we have wanted since we moved in. My gratitude goes out to everyone at Buri Buri for an excellent job.

Above and beyond service. We called on a Saturday with a sudden hot water leak in our crawl space.
Rich took the call personally at his home, and walked us through assessing what might be going on, and made sure hot water was safely turned off via FaceTime. We talked over possible solutions; he explained transparently that rates would be much higher on the weekend due to overtime, and suggested instead that he arrange for one of his guys to come out first thing Monday morning to repair the leak.
The repairman showed up right on time at 8 am on Monday and we were good to go by 9 am. By contrast, before we got to Rich we called two other plumbers.
One never called back until Monday morning (clearly not a good choice for urgent plumbing needs). And the other wanted a deposit before even coming out to take a look; not unreasonable, but like I said, Rich was a step above and beyond.

Every time I call Buri Buri, Rich is not only extremely responsive but he is also very generous with his advice. I've called them with a water heater issue, a sump pump near-disaster and a leaky and broken shower handle.
Every time, Rich was able to put me at ease. On two of these occasions, he was happy to just give me advice over the phone without having to send a plumber.
TOTALLY saved the day and made me feel as though he didn't want to waste my time or money. In the case of our leaky/broken shower handle, he sent one of his plumbers the same day and Teddy was able to fix the issue within an hour.
I was fully expecting to have to open up the wall and potentially remodel the entire shower but Teddy was able to solve the problem without us having to break the bank! One of the things I appreciated most about Teddy was that during the fix, he felt that our water was on the hot side. He asked to see our water heater and advised us to turn our water heater down to prevent any potential accidents.
He was worried that one of our kids might accidentally turn the water up too hot and burn themselves. I was really touched by his concern - this made me feel as though he wasn't here to just do a job.

He was very professional and courteous and made sure he removed all of the root blockage. He kept me informed of the work he was doing and asked I turn the water on in the house to ensure we had free flowing pipes.

We needed new faucet fixtures installed on our outdoor garden hose locations. Actually, we needed four.
Two outlets for each faucet. Rich was very thorough and professional and did a speedy repair of all! We also had an old kitchen faucet that was leaking and coming loose from the counter.
I had purchased a new Kohler one to install. Rich explained to me that the Grohe faucet I had was still functioning and just needed to be tightened (which he did) and have the hose replaced.
I am still debating whether to keep the old faucet as is or install the new one, which I have to admit I was eagerly anticipating having a brand new faucet on the kitchen sink! If you need something fixed, call them! I'm pretty sure they will be able to help you. Quality work too.

We had a weird knocking noise in our pipes and he asked me to send him a video first before he came out since he charges by the hour. We tried to get our contractor to address he issues we observed, but contractors are not plumbers.
We had Rich come out because we needed someone we could trust and someone who would help educate us on house plumbing. Rich came and within minutes found the noise issue and diagnosed the problem.
