I have every intention of rewarding this plumber with return business. The water heater was acting up.

Alfa Plumbing responded quickly with a technician who really knew his stuff. The problem was analyzed and quotes were provided for fixing versus replacement then research could be done for fixing versus replacing.

Thought the old water heater had been here more than 20 years and learned they should be replaced every 8-10 years. We had a garbage disposal jammed with rice.

We called Alfa, and Jorge promised that Efrain would come the next morning. He came, he looked, and he quoted three prices: to replace the troubled leaky pipe under the disposal, to do that and snake the pipe, and to replace the garbage disposal entire.

I was grateful for his "This is what it may cost" clarity. Then Efrain removed the old pipes, replaced them, cleared the garbage disposal and reset it.

He tested the work - snaking the pipe did not seem necessary. The garbage disposal was working again.

He had delivered us a working kitchen for the lowest price quoted. And he was pleasant to be around.

I would recommend these folks any time. Backed up kitchen drain caused the laundry trap to spew icky gunk (yes, that is the technical term ;-) ).

Called, then texted, Alfa Plumbing and someone texted back immediately. Half an hour later I was told someone could come over.

Yay! Efrain arrived quickly, loved our huge friendly dog, then got to work assessing and snaking. Turned out to be multiple huge, disgusting clogs.

He solved the problem and gave us recommendations for what to do going forward to avoid this issue. Great guy.

I highly recommend Alfa Plumbing and Efrain! I had a water heater issue and Alfa plumbing was able to come out within a few hours of me contacting them! My 2010 water heater had a few different issues and Alfa was able to resolve each one. I was happy they didn't push me to buy a new water heater and, instead, took the time to resolve the various issues.

We have used Alfa Plumbing once a few years ago for a major piping project. So last week, when we found a leak from our hot water tank, we immediately called Jorge.

Although he was busy with a few projects, he still made time to come check on the leak right away. Our tank needed to be replaced so Jorge very quickly called his supplier and gave us an estimate that night itself.

His estimate was reasonable and fair (we also had other competitive quotes). We decided to go with Alfa even though other plumbers had offered us extra warranties because we liked his work from the first project.

It was a Friday when we confirmed, he and his team were at our place first thing on Monday morning with a new tank! We're so glad we made the decision to hire Jorge again as he provided us with timely, neat, high quality and impeccable service and workmanship. Just looking at the new tank, new pipes and the entire installation, tells us that he took great pride to ensure the installation was done meticulously and with utmost care.

On top of that, it appears that we needed an expansion tank to regulate the water pressure and protect the new tank. Jorge just took care of it Most importantly, everything was working well after the tank switch! If we ever have plumbing needs again, Alfa will be on speed dial! We have an older house; so any plumbing project becomes a problem in adaptation to existing utilities and structures.

They take care to do a thorough job. Jorge is very responsive and cares about his customers.

Our faucet was not having good water pressure. Ibrahim set a time and came right away to fix our issue.

DOES NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I can't give Alfa high enough appreciation and compliments for the quality of their work; and, most importantly, their responsiveness and service.

I have owned many homes over the years in different parts of the country and have never experienced this level of responsiveness and service combined with quality. Alfa has done many planned and emergency projects for us.

Most recently we had a leaking kitchen faucet which was super hard to diagnose and ultimately required a new faucet from the manufacturer. Alfa responded immediately to visit and try to solve the problem combined with giving us instant advice by texting on what we needed from the manufacturer.

Alfa just keeps vastly exceeding what I thought was possible with a plumbing team every time I work with them. They finished a day ahead of schedule and updated our plumbing to copper.

We have great flow throughout the house now and fixed a leak we found. Kind, professional, very hard working.

Jorge is the ONLY plumber I will use. We've called him several times to fix leaks on our 100 year old house as well as install an automatic shutoff valve on our gas meter.

Jorge is honest, which is the most important thing you want from someone working on your house. He's given us great advice about installing equipment in our house and I trust him 100%.

We've called Alfa twice to deal with bathroom sink backups that have bothered us here at my duplex home. As the sinks, back to back on the adjoining wall, are connected a bit more than they might be otherwise, this stuff can be complicated, but Jorge took care of it quickly and reasonably.

On the latest call, I had tried Green Gobbler (an ethoxylated alcohol drain de-clogger) on the clogs, seemingly to no effect. For about 36 hours, there was no perceptible drainage, and smelly, brackish fluid had filled my sink until I bailed and sponged it out of the basin.

It was another 36 hours or so 'til he could come by, and in that time, unknown to me, the de-clogger had done it's job, and in not checking otherwise, I had brought him out for nothing. I'm sure that can be frustrating to any contracting professional, but Jorge was very gracious about it.

I now know to give a de-clogger like that much more time to work than directed, and to check for progress before I call Jorge again. I highly recommend Alfa Plumbing.

Jorge is great. He was very responsive, came with everything he needed for the job, and was in and out in under an hour.

He came in a mask, and covered his feet with shoe covers. He was respectful of all of the Covid 19 stuff.

My sink is working great. I had a back up, and he was able to come in a very short time.

We had a great experience with Alfa plumbing. We had some banging in our pipes when the shower was on.

Another plumber came by and wanted $1k to strap the pipes and check the water pressure. Alfa came by and told me that the problem was with the shower cartridge.

I ordered a new one from Amazon for $40 and Jorge was generous enough not to charge for the estimate. Glad to save lots of money to solve a problem and I hope to use Alfa in the future! We had a leaky toilet that needed fixing.

Amazing! Our kitchen sink hose under the sink burst and water sprayed everywhere. I turned off the water main and first thing in the morning I called Alfa Plumbing.

They came out first thing this morning and within the hour fixed the plumbing (rusted out pipes), installed new hoses and cleaned out the debris in pipes. This is the 2nd time I've used Alfa Plumbing.

It's clear his primary motivation is to help. For example, I heard a significant leak after 6 pm.

After calling one business whose recorded message stated that they would try to get back to me in a couple of days (still have not heard from them), I called Jorge. He got back to me promptly, and gave me a date and time range from 12-2.

To my utter surprise and delight, he called on the scheduled day to say they would be there around 1:15 and that Ivan would do a preliminary assessment. Ivan was right on time, and was very thorough about ensuring where the leak was coming from so that I would not waste money.

Love these guys! I called on Alfa after I tried (and failed) to install a Toto bidet. The toilet was just a super challenging setup.

Jorge and his team were excellent to work with and kept at it even after it seemed like the project was a bust. In fact, a second van came with the owner (Jorge) and the team of two worked through it together, troubleshooting and fixing issues as they arose.
