These guys rock! Left a message on Sunday evening and by noon on Monday things were flowing again. The office communicated well and Nate busted the crap out of that clog in no time at all.

He was able to attack it with their brand new water jet system. Once he cleared it, he ran a camera down the line (at my request), showed me the condition of the line, and sent me the video.

After that, he cleared my washer drain line that had built up with link and gunk. I couldn't be happier.

George Baird Drain service I've been using the for over 30 years as I'm a Realtor. It used to cost $25.00 to clear a drain, but over the years it's now $40.00.

I just used them last week friendly family operated, and neat and clean work. George Beard drain service is a family owned company who has an excellent work for a very long time! They are reliable, honest, fair, and their work is exceptional! They are located in La Mesa and will come up with innovative ideas to take care of your sewer needs! I wouldn't use anyone else! Our landlord sent this company out to clear the main line, which had backed sewage up into tub and washing machine.

Two days later, the shower was slow to drain and the washing machine backed up water once more. I reported this to my prop manager and they sent this company out again.

The short, red headed hobbit looking guy with no chin was extremely rude and argued with me because "I called him out here and he was just here." He complained that I could not "replicate the problem" and said that if I "want a clean out I need to talk to my landlord." He kept repeating that "I sent him out here". He complained to me that the last time he came and fixed the problem that I wasn't here.

I told him I wasn't here because we couldn't use the bathroom or water and I have two small children. The property mgmt had provided the lockbox code to him.

He was not prevented from doing his job. I explained to him that I'm a tenant and that if I don't report problems that it's considered negligence.

The charge was $40 to clear a drain. The only downside - you need to pay in cash.

I called to make an appointment for sewer line maintenance. Set the appointment up...no one showed up on the designated day.

(I really hate that as I waited at home for nothing.). Called again, they said the service guy apparently was off and they'd call me the next day.

Next day, no one called or showed up. I called in again and they said he was still not working.

They said they had no one available to do maintenance. Still, no one has called and no one has shown up to do the work.

I understand about the holiday but at least know your workers schedules and don't schedule work for them when you know they are going to be out. If something comes up, call your customer and provide a definitive date so they don't waste time waiting around for a technician.

George Baird is an earth angel. Most honest man I've ever met.

I set up two appointments with George Baird drain service and no one showed up to either one. I work full time, so I made the first appointment on a Saturday.

I was told someone would call in the morning to give me a window; someone called early afternoon and told me someone would be out between 1:30-3:30. At 3:45 I called them to reschedule since they STILL couldn't give me an update.

That was a good decision; I rescheduled until Monday (never received a call about a time frame), raced home from work, called at 2:00 pm and said I didn't care how late I'll be home, but no one came (and I didn't even get the courtesy of a call. I am not sure what the problem was, but I would think after being missed on Saturday I would have been a priority on Monday.

Two strikes was enough for me and I called someone else. Do not let TOM CARLSON STONE enter your home! He could steal from your household! On June 30, 2021 he came to my house to fix the toilet and asked me for a screwdriver.

He then left and said he would come another day to finish fixing the toilet once he bought some necessary parts. He never came back despite the many text messages I left him.

Two things happened: (a) He left my toilet making an annoying sound that didn't exist before he touched it. (b) I didn't realize HE STOLE MY SCREWDRIVER! This sounds silly and it is.

I tried to be the most polite with him. I kept messaging him very frequently (several times a day some days) telling him I needed the screwdriver, he kept saying he would bring it "tomorrow." Do NOT trust him when he says "tomorrow" because he doesn't mean it.

He will never come. HE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL.

He never came back to fix either of the bad deeds. It took two weeks (July 13, 2021) until a threat of mine to write a bad review that he Venmo'd me $23.97 for me to purchase another toolbox.

I have had it for more than 10 years since I was in grad school and it has some emotional value to me. I realized that this guy had gaslighted me making me feel guilty for requesting something that is actually mine.

I am fed up of him, so here's what I reply to him, in Google Reviews: TOM CARLSON STONE: Don't gaslight me into making yourself the victim when you are clearly the thief in this situation. Even if it's just a screwdriver, I want it back, and it's not up to you to decide to take that screwdriver from me.

Please avoid these type of uncomfortable situations and do not hire TOM CARLSON STONE unless you want him to take stuff from your home. He is easily replaceable by someone else.

Better off with Baird Drains in LaMesa. Baird Drain abandoned the drain pipe they broke and caused flooding.

They should have told us they could not do the job, but they broke a drainage pipe inside the wall and ran away as fast as they could. The dispatch person could not explain other than to say it was ouR fault.

From what I learned, George Baird is a one-man operation.) George walked in, tall, chirpy, and friendly as can be.

We offered him something to drink and he politely said he was good. We called him in because when our toilet flushed, the water would rise through the shower drain.

We thought that the toilet would possibly need to be snaked. He continued sharing stories and tips as he turned to the double sinks and turned the hot water on.

Next, he goes to the shower and turns the hot water on too. We watch the shower water rise on the shower floor while the sinks were draining properly.

"We will leave them on for a few minutes," he advised. And then he continued with sharing a story and tips.

As we listened for a few minutes, the water in the shower started to swirl and drain properly. "It looks like it cleared itself," he chuckled.

Tone of the secretary is apathetic, bored and condescending. Second time using this place due to our landlords request.

First time was ok service, plumber was nice and snaked our drain after we moved in to our new place. Second time, we needed their services yesterday due to an emergency and the plumber never even showed.

I have used Baird Drain service for more than 20 years.They used to be great.I can no longer rely on them to get my drain jobs done.I call first thing in the morning and talk to old Mrs.Baird.She says she will call me back with a time to come unclog the drain.She does not get back to me and then when I call tells me they can't come today.It is now 4:00.I will no longer be giving them my business for my rental properties because they are totally unreliable and disorganized.Sadly,all good things must come to an end. I called Baird Drain but it was the scammers!!!!! The drain for the sink next to my washer was very slow and they supposedly charge $35.00 to clear a drain.

The service person came and told me that a snake wouldn't solve the problem. (It solved the problem for the last 3 years...) He then told me that it would cost $685 for a high pressure hose to clear out the problem.

I said I don't have that. He said that he would be charged for the gas.

As a small business owner, it was refreshing to final for business with a integrity based firm. I will refer all my friends to Bairds! Our outside wash basin which serves as the outlet for washing machine, became clogged, and flooded portions of our garage.

I placed a inquiry through Yelp, and received quite a few immediate responses. They all varied in availability and pricing, anywhere from $70- $139 per appointment.

I had initially set up an appointment, which was scheduled for a few days out. Then I saw a note on the site "Next Door" about George Baird , being a reliable drain company, that was very reasonable.

Fortunately for me, I placed a call, to George Baird, and they said they could schedule me the next day. They even called me later in the afternoon to confirm our appointment for the following day, and they would call in the AM to confirm a time.

About mid morning the following day , I hadn't heard from them, so I gave a quick call, sure enough, they said they would arrive in the next hour, which they did. When he arrived, the gentleman accessed the problem, and did a clear out of our main line, which fixed the problem.

The best part was the price $35 to clear the drain, unbeatable! He mentioned they don't advertise, and most of their business is "word of mouth " and repeat customers. He mentioned they are a little old school, which was fine by me.

I don't need a lot of thrills for my service. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, they use a variety of inexperienced wanna-be plumbers. The last visit was the final straw.

They were called to clear a bathroom sink drain. The 'plumber' snaked through the adjoining bathroom, not the clogged sink, and left.

Not only did he not clear the drain but, the p-trap they had reassembled started leaking. I called them to come back the next day and the 'plumber' messed around with the p-trap and left without correcting either problem.

No more George Baird Drain Service for me. I highly recommend you call a more professional company for your drain needs.

I had a clog in my bathroom sink so I called a mobile plumber who was able to stop by on the same day. However, the guy was unable to unstick the drain after trying to snake the drain from underneath the sink for about 20 minutes.

He then began suggesting getting a camera into the drain and talking about cutting into the wall to replace piping. This sounded like major $$$.

It felt like I was getting worked over so I decided to get a second opinion. My roommate called another mobile plumber who he was familiar with and highly recommended.

He came the next morning. Josh Henderson, an employee of the business stopped by, broke out a snake and had the drain unclogged in 10 minutes from the faucet.

Each time I begin to search for someone to do a particular job, I feel like the process is the same: engage with some great people, gather a wide range of bids, find some companies that are less upfront with pricing than others. I contacted Baird hoping they could snake my main line out to the city line - a tree root clog last year backed up our plumbing, and I wanted to make sure nothing had grown back.

They responded promptly and sent an awesome tech out. The job was done well, and most importantly, the pricing was transparent and the cost was literally less than half of other quotes I received.

I'll be using Baird for any drain issues I have from this point forward. Never go to anyone else! So trustworthy, reliable, and always puts me at ease.

So before they came, our sink still drained but slowly. While the plumber was here, he himself talked smack about the company, bragged about how experienced he is and how he was going to start his own company.

He said our pipes has alot of build up from stuff we put down the sink. He then said that he could blast out the pipes from the roof and that would be $1200 but he isn't sure that would work.

We then asked for him to use the camera to see what was going on. He said we should "trust him" he knows what the problem is so there isn't a need for the camera.

We insisted so his supervisor came over with the camera. They told us that our pipes were installed incorrectly and if we wanted them to fully replace everything.

We said that sounds like a huge undertaking so we asked for other options. They went back to the $1200 blasting or complete replacement.

Before they left the said that will be $260. I asked them for what? They said for the work we did here.

I said the sink is in the same condition it was before y'all came! Didn't bother to try and snake the drain or anything. With frustration I paid them because I didn't know better.

Called a second plumbing because our drain was in the same condition....plumber fixed it in 10mins said all our pipes are fine and cost $150. This company uses fear tactics to build fear in customers so they can over charge them for services.

Stay away. I had the bathtub cast iron P trap replaced.

That work was fine. To get access to the P trap, the vanity was removed.

The next day, I noticed that when they put back the vanity, it was not put back in the same spot. I called and had the technician come back out and look at it and he said that it could not be put back in the same spot without the tile backsplash being removed or damaged.

If I were putting it back, I could have done it, but since I was paying for their work, I wanted them to fix it. I asked who is responsible for fixing this and he said that I was.

So, I fixed it myself and it cost me $379. Also, they could have cleaned up a little bit better.

We were charged $380 to remove a toilet and unclog a drain. The guy knew it was not unclogged and still charged us.

4 hours later the tub was backed up and now we need to try another company. Uncle Mikey was super honest, super clean, and super nice.

The first company said 450 bucks to unclog a bathroom sink drain because he had to detach it from the wall and Mikey unclogged the drain in 5 minutes for 89 bucks. I will highly recommend this company to all our clients.

Rooter came out and contacted a flood company on our behalf. Well thank goodness for that because they showed up just a short time later and things had gotten much worse.

Long story short, we ended up replacing all remaining underground cast iron plumbing (Mr. Rooter had done a 40' trenchless ABS replacement previously in 2005).

Jesus (Oper. Mngr.) did a great job of touching bases with us all along the way, keeping us informed and giving us options.

when they got here they said it would be $290 for 2 drains because I didnt have an cleaning outlet outside. Then he said he had to replace the the pipes under the sink and it would be $690.

Omar and Noe were the culprits. I got most of my money back but when I spoke to the Mr Rooter rep he defended them so maybe the whole company is messed up.

I feel violated. "Nathan" quoted us $300 to remove and replace an existing kitchen faucet and soap dispenser, to which we agreed.

After he finished installing the faucet, he declared his work "done". When I asked about the soap dispenser, he suddenly stated that replacing my soap dispenser was a very difficult job that would involve grinding and welding, for which he would require another FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS to accomplish.

Yep, ANOTHER $400 to unscrew a plastic nut and replace a simple, under-counter soap bottle. Naturally, we declined and promptly showed him to the door.

Trust me readers when I say this.....I scoured Yelp Reviews on many, many Plumbing Companies (disgust after disgust on the terrible services others received from other Plumbing Companies) however, after reviewing Mr.

Plumber's Yelps, I called them and had them send out an Associate. Nathan came out, assessed the situation (a failed Pressure Relief Valve and a Soft Water appliance shot Pressure Regulator).

He disconnected the plumbing to the Soft Water appliance and did a bypass (I may not want to use this appliance again) and let me know that the Pressure Regulator was no good (well, 52 years of service, it won't last forever). He let me know he would return the next day to replace it.

I received the invoice price and found it exceptionally acceptable (well folks, plumbing work ain't cheap and you must also pay for parts). I agreed and signed the invoice.

Nathan and fellow Associate came out the next day at the time scheduled, did the work, left a clean area and the work took less than originally stated. He provided me with the info on the plumbing (main on / off and the line for the sprinklers).

We'll keep Nathan and his fellow Associate as Permanent Plumbers, I will keep Mr. Rooter as my permanent Plumbing Company.

Got a quote for installing a dishwasher and bathroom faucet. About $250 for the faucet and $595 for the dishwasher.

They got an estimator out very quickly but the prices were just egregious! Paying $600 to install an $800 dishwasher just doesn't make sense. Ended up going with another company.

I would recommend this professional to everyone. Nathan Ortiz, an independent owner of Mr.

Rooter, is completely a nightmare to do business with him. He promised 3 months warranty for his service-high pressure water jet which is expensive $900 approximately.

Once the job is done poorly and charged the amount, he did not honor the promise while we called him to come back to fix the problem that there are lots of oil come out from the drainage. There should not be any oil comes out from the drainage which means Nathan did not do a proper job from the beginning.

And he refused to come back to fix the problem and even said he never said there is 3 months warranty for the job. Absolutely a nightmare to do business with Mr.

Rooter especially this individual owner Nathan Ortiz cause they lied to customers which is not acceptable at all. STAY AWAY from Mr.

I then hired him to replace two sink valves that require special tools. He replaced it with no problem at all.

I will be very honest with a recent thing that happened. I had a offset toilet flange that needs to be replaced so I asked for a quote.

The quote I got from here is $1800 because the manager says it requires getting a jack hammer to do the job. I myself pretty clear of What needs to be done.

I called mr rooter they had Douglas come to my house to fix a clogged drain in bathroom. It was s tough situation, no clean out but he took the extra effort to resolve the situation .

The team who showed up was very efficient and reasonably priced. A special shout out to Jose and Kenny who spent 5 days redoing all the pipes under the house and the main line.

They had to dig up her yard. She had just had the yard done a few years ago.

When your crew left, it looked like you had never been there. The biggest thing for me was Luis.

The job we requested was not finished and they tried to charge again on top of what we paid for and did not even finish the first duties in the original request that they gave, showed resistance instead of being professionals and making sure they they secured a long term relationship with a customer, not just any customer but a business who has multiple businesses and that is not about funny games but about building other businesses too but yet, we were talked down to, and laughed at and we are dealing with an issue that is not a fun issue. How does staff laugh at you when our business is having issues and no one is sympathetic to that.

We just wanted the job to be completed and less than 24 hours it was not done and the disrespect and tone and treatment that was given to us was unacceptable for a business that says they have exceptional customer service. As a business owner myself, It is my duty to make sure that my customers are happy, not to take advantage but less that 24 hours and my customer is unhappy, I will make sure I do something in my best interest to make them feel like I heard them and they were taken care of.

We had a leak from our tub spout. Nothing too drastic but definitely would get worse.

Decided to call Mr. Rooter and they came out within a few hours, which was nice.

They had a look and quoted $510 at first, then they came back with a quote of $1,295 minimum plus the cost of the parts. I received a message from the manager stating that these were two options for service.

I appreciate him reaching out, but my wife asked the service tech, "so it's gonna be a $1295 minimum to get this fixed and he said, "yes." At $510 we would have had the job done. We ended up calling another company and set up an appointment for the next day.

Work was completed for less than Mr. Rooters lower quote.

I had fake turf installed at my house by a company and they hit a water pipe while excavating and called Mr Rooter to fix. The tech did a great job and the the turf company paid, however a day later I realize there is a leak in my water meter box.

The city comes out and says it's on my side and asked if we had turned off the water frequently and that was the cause of the leak. I call mr rooter to come check it out since they shut off the water for the pipe leak.

First they said they will be there next day 8am-10am. I then received a call around 9am that they would be late and be there around 1pm.

After that I never received a call and no visit. The next day I thought I would hear back and finally called at 4pm.

They said the service call had been canceled at 1pm and if I canceled, HUH? I have a water leak why would I cancel. They said sorry we will be there tmrow between 1-3.

They finally show up and say the warranty doesn't cover it and it's a flat $1800 to fix the valve on my side of the meter. I knew that was a redic price and didn't like they didn't show so I called a plumber on yelp with 5 stars I have used before.

Scheduled it up and they charged me almost half of what Mr Rooter charged. The tech from rooter saved this from being a 1 Star since he was good and just going by the company line (and didn't create the scheduling issue).

They do not keep their appointment times. If they give you a 2 hour window, expect to wait 4 hours for them to arrive.

Rooter's employee Jesus Arreola was totally focused on getting the job done. He was extremely knowledgeable about tankless water heaters, and all of the codes and rules regarding their installation.

He even went beyond the call of duty in a few instances, generously fixing some things that would normally be the owner's responsibility. His install was clean and straight, and is something we will be proud to show off for many years to come.

Great guy, who was generous with his knowledge. I learned a lot just watching him work.

Sergio came to my house and called first to come earlier than the appointed window of time. That was awesome as I was just waiting here for him.

He was very polite and capable, explaining and showing me the problem as he was finding it. I had a clogged drain in a shower that had just been remodeled.

He said it looked like there was a glob of grout in the pipe, completely blocking his snake, this could be readily seen as it was only about 8 inches down. He suggested I call my contractor to fix it as it would involve using a jackhammer to remove it.

He did not charge me anything!, since he said he didn't do anything, but what a super guy!! While I appreciate the quick response for a rooting job, this company apparently saw money signs when they walked in. They wanted to create a whole other job- recommending opening up our drywall and replacing pipes (to address a blockage from a lazy flusher of a toilet).

Thank goodness we got a second opinion from a trusted neighborhood plumber. There was no need to open up walls, replace piping, or really anything they said was needed.

A quick clearing of the pipe and replacement of toilet (which we had already purchased) and we were done. The neighborhood plumber did this for their hourly fee while Mr.

Rooter quoted $1800 in addition to the rooter fee. I will not be calling this company in the future as they have proven untrustworthy.

Our toilet was backed up. I called Mr.

Rooter plumbing and was prepared to be told it would take a few days for a service call. Most other companies think people don't need their toilets for many days.

Much to my surprise, they scheduled a service call to my home for the same day!!!! Doug Higbee came promptly as scheduled and got right to work. He fixed the stoppage and told me how to prevent it in the future.

He also (at no extra charge) showed me how to reduce build up in the toilet tank and the bathroom sink pipes. He went way beyond was was required for the call.

He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This will be my go-to company for any future plumbing problems.

Rooter if I were you. I have a backup in my home that required plumbing, and like previous posts, he(the plumber) couldn't snake past 10-20 feet, so he offered to high pressure clean the pipes.

Apparently my home has all new pipes on the house but one old pipe where it connects to the city. Paid over $1,000 for the problem to come back the very next day.

Sorry to say, I don't believe the technician knew what he was doing! I had to direct him to the correct run-off, he had opened the drain that belongs to the property behind mine. I now shelled out over $1,000 and the problem hasn't changed....

I need to get a new plumber here and a quote on how to fix this. I think it the technician sounded like he knew what he was doing, I'd consider using them to fix the problem, but I feel like I was scammed by these guys Fantastic service!! The awesome staff (Megan was who we dealt with) was very communicative over the phone and e-mail when setting up a time that worked for everyone.

We then had Nick come out and he tackled both of our complex sink problems very quickly. Nick was very friendly and professional all at the same time.

They arranged to come out that day (a Saturday) within four hours of the call. Their agent, Nathan, called me when he was a few minutes away.

He cleared our drain, from the clean out, within 10 minutes. He did not try to sell me any additional services nor up the price.

Rooter came to replace the inside mechanism of my toilet. They charged me a very large sum of money ($423.68) that included parts and labor.

But besides the large amount - they did a pretty lousy job. They did not set up the water limits correctly, nor did they test it before they finished - so when the toilet was filled, it filled too much and water was leaking from the hole of the handle.

Water was leaking for a long time until we discovered it. By then, the water leaked through the walls into the first floor - and now we have a mold problem.

Recovering from their lousy job will cost me a ton of money and time. We have used many plumbing services in San Diego and by far this is the best in our opinion.

We had a major repair at our home with an old pipe breaking underneath our kitchen island and leading into the garage . They had to jackhammer our kitchen and garage floor.

Replaced my shower head but the replacement had terrible water pressure (also replaced the pipe it attaches to) so I called to try and sort out but after saying they need to talk with the field supervisor I just never heard back and worked out what to do with the part I didn't like on my own. Also on call was told a receipt was sent out which I never received, however, the person manually sent and I received it then.

Everyone I think was nice but probably won't return unless in a super pinch as were available and prompt. I schedule service for Saturday.

On Friday evening, I get a call saying they overbooked their own employees and they want to show up on Monday instead. Nice to see that an inability to keep your own workforce managed constitutes an inconvenience on my part.

My son flushed a few small Dixie paper cups down the toilet. They charged me $445 to remove the toilet and get the cups.

My husband came home and said he could have bought a brand new toilet at Home Depot for $150. Why $445? It's so insanely high and so arbitrary.

Also, the guy told me, a tad condescendingly, that Mr. Rooter is a "plumbing" company and not a "plungeing" company, and you wouldn't call a professional to plunge a toilet.

But my grandpa used to call a plumber for that all the time. However at these prices, he would've just bought a new toilet every time it jammed.

They fixed our leaking shower drain and slow kitchen sink same day!! Everyone we spoke to at the office, and the tech at our home, were very personable and straightforward. Great company to work with! They were able to clear a storm drain that another company could not on the previous day.

I had a clog in a storm drain and called another company. Previous company cable snaked it and then tried hydrojetting the storm drain point for a few minutes, and suggested that my drain might be broken and would need to cut concrete and excavate to replace pipes.

I wasn't entirely convinced that it was broken, and wanted to avoid cutting concrete, so I called Mr. Rooter for a second opinion.

I had seen on another Yelp! review that Mr. Rooter was able to solve a problem that another company couldn't.

The recommendation here was to initially cable snake and if that didn't work, hydro jet with water with no charge for the snake. I was worried the cable would tear up the pipes, based on what I had seen the day before...

so I opted for hydro jet. He was able to clear the line by going uphill from the drain spout (instead of directly in the jammed storm drain, basically going reverse).

Not sure why the previous company didn't think of that. Con - it was really expensive, both cable and hydrojetting was super expensive compared to other companies I called.

I don't know if there was a difference in equipment efficacy or what. All in all, they cleared my drain and I am happy despite the cost.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We had a plumbing emergency in our ADU due to a leaking AC unit which was coming through the ceiling. When we called their emergency line to schedule an appointment, Jennifer, a customer service representative, was incredibly unhelpful and rude.

She insisted our issue wasn't an emergency and that we would have to wait for an appointment between 12 PM and 7 PM. After much persistence and speaking with a supervisor, we finally convinced them to send someone out sooner.

We should have ended it there as the experience only got worse. Fernando, the technician who arrived, first wanted to charge $1800 to replace some freon, and then suggested replacing the entire AC unit, which was only four years old! This seemed like a total scam which was confirmed later when we found another company that fixed the leak for under $200.

OR SCARE TACTIC On Jan 10 we called Anderson Plumbing (Kearny Mesa Branch) because our home furnace was intermittently turning itself off.

The young technician - Cole - took some photos, of the heat exchanger (said it had holes, was leaking) and then used a portable meter to measure carbon monoxide. He told me it was reading 15 ppm (at bathroom diffuser) and this was an unsafe level.

Cole told me he had to legally turn the gas valve off and he did. He recommended a new furnace and gave me a verbal quote for $8K on a new Amana model.

Later that day we called SDG&E to verify the carbon monoxide reading. SDG&E's tech came by late and tested it thoroughly.

GUESS WHAT: 0 ppm That's right, zero. No CO threat.

I can't figure out how Anderson's tech came up with an errant reading. If the meter was bad wouldn't he know this from repeated false positives? Was Anderson falsifying readings to sell over-priced furnace systems? (Some price checks tell me $8K is very high) if there was a zero I'd chosen it.

The worst company ever they don't know how and where to detect the gas leak from. They send you a bunch of people after few days of waiting and still they can't detect the gas leak unless they said they have to call another company to do the job!!! And still they charge you for them doing nothing at my house except wasting our time and peace.

If you want want your gas leak to be done fast and efficient don't ever waste your money and time by calling Anderson plumbing I recently called this company for repeat service at one of my properties only to be told by a very young Hispanic male (18-21 years old) that my account was flagged. Then, he placed me on hold for several minutes, returned to the line, & abruptly said, "Don't call us anymore!" and hung up the phone.

I've never had a more unprofessional and disrespectful experience with a corporation in my entire life. I was genuinely curious why he would say such an outlandish thing, so I called back thinking it was some sort of prank.

This time, I spoke with a female employee who tried to find out why my account was flagged. She stayed on the phone with me for nearly 30 minutes trying to investigate and read the notes in the computer for all of my previous service call requests.

She even consulted with management, but she couldn't provide an answer for what was going on. I asked her if it was something that one of my tenants potentially did at one of my properties, but all that she could provide me with was a phone number to speak with a Supervisor.

She transferred me and advised me to leave a voicemail, and she said that she would leave a note to have a Supervisor call me back. However, no one ever called me back...

So much for the pink glove treatment. It is more like the Jerry Springer treatment! I called late Saturday night and received a callback early Sunday morning, and was able to have someone come out same day.

Everyone I spoke with from initial call to technician were very friendly and helpful. The technician they sent out (Frank Meza) was kind, quick, and thorough, and provided excellent service.

Art Anaya was great. He fixed our clogged toilet! Charles did what was on his list.

He turned on all of the faucets in the house, let the water tun awhile and said there were no problems. He gave me a bottle of enzymes and instructed me how to use them.

He was polite and quick. This is a follow-up to my first review.

They did quote me $2300. For the circuit board and $1500 for the gas igniter part.

I had AirMax come out the same afternoon and they confirmed that the circuit board was out, but he would not be able to tell if the igniter was faulty until he put in the circuit board. Both were faulty because when he put in the circuit board the heater would not start so he installed the gas part and the total cost was $700.00 For parts and labor.

Everyone should always get at least 3 bids. I think Anderson wants to sell new heaters not repair them.

I am 79 and since inflation hit during the pandemic I have to be very careful financially. I know I got a top quality job for my $700 instead of a $7,000 furnace.

We called Anderson Plumbing thinking we had a slab leak. They came in and estimated the job at $4956.

$2300 was just for moving the heater. They cut holes in the walls and put the heater back with the hole behind it still not patched.

So that means that we need to look for drywall specialists and move the heater again to patch it up. In addition, they broke the drainage pipe for the heater while moving it.

This service is extremely overpriced and very poor quality. Also they said they were going to come at 1 pm but they came at 3:28pm.

We DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM and will NEVER use their service again. We were overcharged for an incomplete bad service.

0 stars. On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Anderson Plumbing, Heating arrived at my residence for a scheduled appointment, to inspect and service my furnace.

After the inspection, the technician brought to my attention that my furnace was emitting a high level of carbon monoxide. The technician recommended to correct the problem was to purchase a new furnace.

The technician stated, a new furnace would cost approximately $5, 000.00 dollars. The technician then departed from my residence.

After some thinking and discussion with my family, we decided to get a second opinion. I called and scheduled an appointment with another heating company.

On Friday, December 29,2023. the company arrived and performed a thorough inspection, ( a big difference from Anderson, The company noted no problems and no mention of high emissions of carbon monoxide.

When the company left, which was midmorning, I contacted Anderson Plumbing, Heating to complain about the inspection performed by their technician and to cancel my V.I.P. membership.

I utilized the company's online chat service. The chat service responded my request would be referred to another department and I would receive a call back.

I never received a call back. On Tuesday, January 2, 2024,Thursday Once again contacted Anderson.

I used the chat service, reiterating my complaint and membership. The chat service then connected with an agent.

The agent could not assist me and provided me a number to call. I called the number given to me by the agent.

The receptionist connected with a voicemail. I left a voicemail.

I was not satisfied and called the company number and made a connection with a receptionist who connected me with Dave the Complaint Manager. I once again explained my complaint and canceling my membership.

Dave said, he would need to speak with the Technician Manager about the service performed by the technician at my residence. Dave said after speaking to the Technician Manager, he would contact me.

In regards to canceling my membership there was only one person who handles cancellations his name was Nathan. Dave stated, he would send a message to Nathan canceling my membership and would connect me to Nathan voicemail so I could leave a message canceling my membership.

Nathan would contact me. On Thursday, January 4.

2024, I had not received a phone call from Dave or Nathan, so I called Anderson. I spoke to representative and requested to speak to the Complaint Manager, Dave.

The representative informed me Dave was not in. I then requested to speak to Nathan about canceling my membership.

The representative informed me my membership had been canceled. If you have read this far, you can judge the service I received was below poor.

Also, I forgot to mention the initial technician never documented the carbon monoxide findings on his report. Anderson PHA, best company in town.

My go to company for repairs to my home when it comes to drains, water heaters, HVAC, etc. Always have had the best service with experienced technicians.

Our latest experience with the company was a new furnace needed to be installed, replacing a 20+ year old one. Allison showed up quickly to access the job and wrote up a contract for the work and equipment needed.

On the day of the install, our technicians Dave and Dario, showed up on time and ready to go. Both were very professional and polite.

Their work was quick, clean and very thoughtful of the rest of my house. Job was completed on time and much to our satisfaction.

Only Plumbing service to use, in my opinion. Thumbs up to everyone who works at this business.

I recently had my HVAC unit checked as part of the VIP service plan. I found out that they have not been changing my filter which is part of the service because they don't carry the 18x20 filter on their truck.

This filter is an important part of caring for your HVAC unit. The service guy told me that my unit was also dirty and it should be cleaned.

Their estimate was $350.00!! I had Perfect Air in Poway come out to give me an estimate for the cleaning and they said it was perfectly clean and like new!! They also didn't charge me for the service call. I don't trust Anderson and am sick to death of hearing their ads about how great they are! BEWARE,THEY ARE NOT HONEST Very disappointed in Anderson's service.

It was Christmas Eve morning and our water heater went out. I knew it would be hard to find someone to come out and it would be expensive but the commercials I saw for Anderson caused me to have faith they could help.

I called and Andrew was very helpful and took our order. I explained to him that it was a propane heater and he assured me that the truck would be stocked with at least 95% of the parts needed.

The dispatcher called me and let me know that it was scheduled and we would have hot water that evening. I again reiterated that it was a propane heater and she again said that was not a problem.

I did not hear from them after two hours, so I called back. Andrew again assured me they were on their way and gave me a tracking website I could use.

Ben, the installer was an hour out, coming from Carlsbad to Alpine. We saw light at the end of the tunnel.

When Ben arrived, I showed him the old heater and he said that he did not know it was propane and he did not carry those on the truck. If he knew, he could have stopped by Home Depot and picked one up.

Now it is 4:30 Christmas Eve, there was no way of getting a new heater that night. Cold showers will be the Christmas morning call.

He also told me that my heater was under warranty and I could pick one up and he would be able to install it on Tuesday. I asked about the cost of just the installation.

He quoted me $2,700. The old one was only 4 years old and installed by an installer who brought it up to code.

All that was necessary was to remove the old one and place the new one in the same place. This was absurd to me and I refused his service.

Anderson Plumbing let me down. If I had known any of this sooner, I may have been able to get a different installer earlier in the day and have hot water on Christmas Day! I highly do not recommend Anderson Plumbing for any plumbing services.

I am summarizing this as there is a lot more to it. I am always about supporting woman owned businesses.

I wonder if the owner is aware of this! this experience was horrible. Not sure if there employees work on commission.

Our toilet backed up & was going into the shower. I called Anderson I spoke to a lady & explained my grandmother & her caregiver will be at the house.

I have somewhere to be & can I make the payment over the phone? I was told yes I also informed her I'm the POA and to contact me if it is more than just a clogged toilet as my grandmother has dementia. The only thing we wanted was the toilet fixed.

Let me add My grandmother will be 97 years old soon with dementia. Not one employee ever called me from Anderson while at the house.

I got a call from the caregiver she was pretty upset. They were trying to sell work for 10k to my grandmother.

I asked her to hand the phone to the guy. I said write up the bid and what you're saying needs to be done as my grandmother has dementia & I will review it when I get home.

! Which they did not listen to. So I called & reported elder Abuse to the Manager David Andrus he verified that there was no scope video nor an estimate.

Below is my follow up email to David On 2/13/24 I sent a follow up email to David the manager " I never received any follow up to my complaint of elderly abuse nor proof of the scope supposedly done. Im debating whether to take this to the news or not at this point.

Your company lied and tried to take advantage of my elderly grandmother with Dementia! I got a second opinion and everything is fine. At this point I request a refund had to call another company to snake outside drain as your company did not do it.

Also hired another company to scope it after your employee tried to get 10k from my grandmother & refused to leave the house after being asked 4 times by the caregiver & once by me over the phone. The caregiver had to get Josh to come In the house & ask your other employee to leave.

The caregiver was going to call the cops. She told the guy my grandmother has dementia as well as I did! This cost us an additional $600.00.

Your guy scared my grandmother and told her the issue would continue that she needed to pay the 10k to get it fixed. My grandmother ended up hitting me over the fear and being confused.

Your employee never made any notes. This is very shady practice! I would love to hear how this was handled since no one ever followed up with me.

" On 2/15/24 I spoke to a man named Bill & Lonnie on a 3 way call which I felt was to intimidate me as a woman. Then they refused to confirm that my caregiver & there employees story was the same.

They said it was confidential! They said all calls are recorded & they will go back to my original call where I scheduled the appt. Stating to call me I'm in charge not my grandmother.

They also asked where you home as though it was my fault. Or that my grandmothers caregiver are making this up.

They never would answer my questions it was always a work around. I emailed Lonnie the 2 invoices for the other 2 companies.

To me this is elder abuse, also I was hit over it. Not once have they taken responsibility nor said they do.

I am still waiting to hear back from Lonnie. 3/15 update learned some new information that these employees were not new.

Also per company policy verbal estimates should not be given. Also they work on hourly rate based on commission hmmm.

Waiting for Bill to get back to me. Sam and Coleman were outstanding today.

Thanks again for making me smile! Terrible company with horrible customer service. I had an estimate on a mini split system in January, the guy came out but I never received the estimate, even after I reached out to them to ask for it weeks later and still have received nothing.

My job has since been completed by one of their competitors and I couldn't be happier. Don't waste your time.

I have not received any attempt to further connect like their response says. But I appreciate this response on yelp.

I have thought about it and it makes sense why you wouldnt give a quote for something when you dont know if there could be anything else wrong with my plumbing that might be the real problem. Ive still gotten quotes from other businesses so its still dissapointing.

But I understand now how a business wouldnt want to mislead anyone with one price just to find a different problem when they get here. I had someone come look at my garbage disposal and it WAS a simple replacement which they did for free( as a first time customer) I just had to buy a new one, and they had a Home Depot discount I used, which all in all total work and parts costed me 100 bucks.

Simple. Quick.

Cost efficient. Kitchen sink works like a dream now.

Your attempt to contact me at least on here shows great custoker service. I ended up gping with someone else.

But ill advocate that your company at least responds kindly on yelp. Great customer service, technician attitude and professionalism.

The pricing model can use some help. This is a commendation and special thanks regarding a visit from Derek Tenbrook, the HVAC design consultant for Anderson Plumbing, Heating & Air.

Derek answered all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. We are Anderson VIP customers and because of folks like Derek we intend to continue to be customers.

Ron Jacobs Pt Loma Service person (Ben) was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was very impressed and would highly recommend Anderson PHA.

This company does a great job with the customer service from my experience. For starters, they'll let you know 30-45 minutes when they are on their way to your house.

And you can even track them as they are making their way to your home. They recently installed a brand new HVAC system and their expertise in air conditioning is top notch, and knowing exactly what type of furnace and condensor unit to use for our size house.

They are friendly, professional and they had no hesitation with wearing shoe covers and masks inside our home. Great job! Wow, Mary Jean Anderson has the most effective advertisement in San Diego, she is beautiful and the only thing that can compete with her beauty is the beautiful service her staff gives, well her daughter is a Fox also let's not leave that pretty lady out, , Julie the office manager is super nice and gave remarkable, expert customer service, when Mary says said "Nobody Wows Customers Like We Do" it's not a tagline it's a fact, great job Julie Yelp's rating is not high enough for you, you need 10 stars and so does Anderson Plumbing Kristina came over to my home and really "wowed " me with her professional approach, friendliness and attention to detail.

She throughly explained in detail what she did, what to look for in the future and how to maintain the quality of her work. I would strongly recommend her for any future work.

They were super responsive and professional. My neighbor had them out just when I needed a service, and so I had them visit me after they finished.

It is pretty corporate in that I had to call into the appointment center and talk to the dispatcher to ask if this person that was already there could come over for an estimate. He was super professional and good experience, cut open some drywall as part of the $49 visit free, plus the $7 fuel charge which was a little silly for driving 10ft...but whatever.

Quote was $710 for a simple 2'' pipe repair. I ultimately got it done by another plumber for $210.

Looks like their pricing is really high and very glad I got the other quote. *Beware of this company's lack of transparency and HUGE mark up.

* They attempted to charge an outrageous markup on a thermostat. My dad is a 4th generation HVAC guy.

He wasn't available so we called Anderson to help with a glitchy thermostat, I was quoted $1400 to replace a nest!!!!!! *literally a 10 minute job and max $250 cost of a new unit. * THERE WERE NO OTHER ISSUES BESIDES THE NEST NOT HOLDING A CHARGE.

This is something that industry standard says for labor could be any where from $176-$250 for instal so max to customer should have been told $500. I was given no explanation for this mark up of OVER $1000 other than that's just what we charge, sorry.

On top of that they try to sell you on dirty ducts and other issues that having a dad as an AC for over 40 years I can assure you were made up issues!!!! Your units have filters, this is completely unnecessary and these people will most likely damage your duct work while attempting to "clean" them. After patching my dad in on a three way call with the technician and having him ask some questions I got a call back from the technician that our current nest actually was able to charge.

So it was our lucky day I guess...... smhhhhhhh.

The next day I called the office to get a range of what they may charge to replace a thermostat and explained the situation and they were COMPLETELY unwilling to help and unconcerned with my experience, she talked over me the whole time. It was the cherry on top of an over all BAD experience.

ZERO transparency. Your business is best left with a local company that is small and honest.

Please proceed with caution. * In a time where life is hard enough as it is you don't need these extra mark ups, lack of transparency and unhelpful contacts.

( I dont believe in slamming businesses. Everyone makes mistakes but this wasn't a mistake it was an outrageous money grab and it's our duty as members of a community to keep eachother informed.

) Josh came yesterday to take a look at our unit that stopped blowing out cold air. He was at my house for a good 2hrs.

I greeted him at my garage and he had a smile on his face and was so cheerful even after finding out that his service vehicle had no AC. Wth??? It was hot as hell yesterday.

I would have been miserable. Then I felt bad for the guy even more because I live in a 3 story townhome.

Still had a smile on his face and explained what was going on every step of the way. I have 2 cats and he was super mindful of them as well.

I also appreciated that he realized we were a military family and thanked my husband for his service. Then I heard him tell someone on a call not to send a Team Mate to a call because he could just take it on his way home as he lives up north and the guy they wanted to send lives in Chula Vista.

You can just tell he is such a genuine and nice guy! I was so grateful Josh was our Tech and appreciated his level of service!!! Great hire Anderson!!!! Give this man a raise!!! Anderson plumbing have very high prices. They wanted $1,779 to install a new faucet; other services were equally high price.

I suggest finding another plumbing company that can do a good job for half the price Our kitchen sink clogged Thursday and I tried the "Harry the Homeowner" route with Drano. No joy.

Called Anderson that evening after normal business hours and was greeted on the phone by a lovely woman who scheduled us for service the next morning. On Friday morning, after a call from Anderson alerting me that my service tech was 10 minutes away, Chris arrived.

He took a look at the sink, went to the trap clean out, snaked it and was done in 15 to 20 minutes. Great work and nice guy.

Best $63.00 I've spent in awhile. Would highly recommend this business.

Have used Anderson for literally decades for all my AC needs and am a VIP customer with two VIP accounts to have both our AC units and 2 tankless water heaters serviced yearly. Their customer service is exemplary and why their prices are so high.

HOWEVER, This review is not based on those past experiences with them. Recently, they put a camera thru my 100 year old sewer lines and found it was time to replace or line all of it.

Part of the job required four 2' X 2' holes in the drywall which I was assured they would fix. It's been two months and I still have these plastic and blue tape covered holes.

Not the sort of service I expect from them. As far as their pricing goes, every time I think "OK, I'll get an estimate from them for a faucet or toilet issue" I am astonished at their crazy prices.

Most recently, I was quoted $600 to reseat a toilet and replace the wax ring. This is a $200 to $250 job by the majority of plumbers.

I don't have a gold plated toilet that would require exemplary service to reseat and wax rings are about $3. Their pricing structure should be flexible enough to accommodate the fact that sometimes a Toyota will do the same job as a Rolls Royce.

Wow...talk about over priced. My quote was almost $2000.00 For an outdoor pvc pipe that separated, To top it off, I did the digging and located the area.

INSANE! I called a local licensed plumber and was fixed in a half hour for $200. This should be illegal!! I don't know how anyone can agree to these outrageous prices.

How are they still in business??? Say no, it's a major rip off. Anderson came to the rescue when I had a plumbing emergency! Basically, I had a blocked mainline and was having major problems with all of our toilets and showers /bathtubs.

I called another big local company the same evening, and was told it would take a couple of days unless I wanted to pay the night rate on the following day, which was very high. I called Anderson the next morning and they had Chris, a really good tech, arrived by midday.

Outstanding! Chris was friendly and communicative, telling me everything he was doing along the way. He snaked the line unsuccessfully but was able to get a colleague to come by and put a camera down the line which showed very clearly what the problem was.

The blockage was then cleared, and everything worked once again! Needless to say, I was very pleased with the quick response and good attitude that Anderson showed. You have a lot of choices in this business, so why not choose a five-star company! This company will rip you off.

Period. Had them quote an HVAC system a while back.

Sales rep came out and drew up a proposal for over $25k and said this was a 'special deal' with VIP service. Got a couple more quotes for the exact same equipment and same installation that was about 1/3 of the cost from another reputable contractor.

They would have pocketed about $18k of my money as pure profit. Never trust them with anything, they will grossly overcharge you.

Within 2 minutes of the guy walking in he was selling me financing options at 10% over 10 years. Didn't even open our furnace or AC unit.

He also was using swear words even though I just met the guy 1 minute ago. While I suspect I probably need a service for my unit, will definitely be calling another company.

I had a toilet flapper and fill valve replaced. It cost over $600.

I was in a time crunch, don't have the tools for this and needed this toilet working so I paid. These parts are literally $21 at Home Depot.

BUT NEVER AGAIN with this company. The plumber had the gall to try to upsell me an entire toilet saying my perfectly fine kohler toilet was old.

I feel like this company really preys on people and tries to take advantage. THEIVES! CON ARTISTS! Told us we had carbon monoxide so high that they had to legally shut it off.

Tried to charge us $8700 for a new furnace! Freaked us out! We called SDG&E who did a thorough inspection and we had ZERO carbon dioxide in the house! I've only had good experiences with Anderson. They are easy to schedule, prompt, and their technicians are knowledgeable.

I never feel like I'm being over sold or ripped off, in fact, I find that every service technician has given me tips and tricks to keep them away! I recently had Loren come by to help with a routine plumbing issue. He was awesome.

He helped me understand a bit more about my current situation and gave me a few solutions to consider moving forward. Overall he was prompt, knowledgeable and kind.

I had these people install a kitchen faucet a few months ago. I supplied faucet yet they charged $600 to install- it took the guy 15 min.

Im writing this review because it still makes me angry. I was shown an estimate but it was zoomed in on a different portion of the page.

The guy even acted strange like he knew he as ripping me off. Ugh.

I should have known. I would never recommend these people.

Women owned does not mean trustworthy. Anderson is responsive on weekends which is a huge plus.

I had an issue with my rental unit. They update you and let you know when they are on their way.

And they send a brief bio of who you should expect to show up. The bad: they quoted me $700 to reset a toilet and $2200 to replace a closet bend.

They told me it was an ALL day job to justify the cost. I called around and other plumbers quoted me 600-800.

I called to let them know what other plumbers quoted me and they offered to reduce the cost to 1650. The job took my plumber 45 mins to complete.

I would never recommend a company that wants to rip me off so bad. Spent 22K on a new unit and nothing but problems since then.

I've had to make at least 4 service calls for the same issue and they cant seem to fix it. I got the VIP service because we have a family member with congestive heart failure called Sunday and they tell me they cant get anyone here until Thursday....its 90+ degrees all week.

Thanks VIP...SMH Worst experience I've had in a while. On February 8th I called Anderson Plumbing to come and attend to our water heater, with the pilot light that kept going out, resulting in no hot water.

I had Anderson Plumbing replace the burner assembly on November 2022, because I was told that there would be a 2 year warranty on the item. I paid them $1243 for the replacement.

Now 15 months later we're experiencing the same problem that prompted me to replace the burner in 2022 in the first place. A technician came out on Friday February 9th 2024 and examined the water heater.

He informed us that even though the pilot light kept going out (the same as before), this time it was not the burner that was faulty, but it was something else that was not covered under the 2 year warranty (how convenient). They informed me that it would now cost me an additional $1000 to fix it.

I thought that the initial $1243 that I paid in November 2022, would have had a warranty for 2 years, only to find out that it was now something else, that was wrong and that this was not covered under the initial warranty. This would now cost me another $1000 to rectify it!! Like I mentioned before, how convenient!! I'm very disappointed in the service that I have received from Anderson Plumbing and I feel that I'm being taken advantage of, for being so naive as to expect them to honor their initial 2 year warranty on the burner assembly.

Shame on you for taking advantage of a senior citizen, who trusted you at your word, that you would warranty your work for 2 years, some 15 months ago and now want another $1000 to again rectify the same problem. I just had a wonderful experience.

Will definitely call Anderson Plumbing and Heating & Air again. Thank you! I've had VIP maintenance contract with them for years, in July I called to schedule regular maintenance on my AC system and was told Summer was a black out.

Yesterday I receive a text stating that they will disregard the black out and that I was owed my maintenance and ask if I want to schedule (see attached screen capture) Today I call and they tell me that it had already be done in April, it has not and to disregard the text If it had been done it would show as a schedule in my outlook and I would have receipts, I don't). On another subject also related to my AC.

After a previous maintgenance when they removed some of the refrigerant one of my units started making a loud sound when starting, they came back twice and could not fix the issue so they decided it was normal that one of my units did that loud sound and not the other. They also recommended the addition of a hard start capacitor (over $400) A year later I had a different local contractor I met at a networking meeting come for a second opinion he looked at the other unit, it already had a hard start capacitor.

he did not think adding one on the other unit would fix the issue, I decided to give it a try anyway (he charged me half of what Anderson quoted me) and he was right it did not fix the issue, the refrigerant was a little low and he thought that would improve the isse and it did. I had a similar experience when they quoted me twice the other quotes on my water heater.

They finally decided to schedule the maintenance We hired Anderson for few jobs in past few months. They have done great works for our projects.

As a VIP member, Mike just completed my annual drain cleaning service in the time promised and was very professional. He provided me with a product to use on my drains on a monthly basis.

I've been a VIP member of Anderson, Plumbing, Heating & Air for over 5 years and have been highly satisfied with the knowledge and professionalism of the technicians. The office staff alerts me when a service is due and books my appointment at a convenient time.

All technicians wear shoe protection covers and leave the work area, very clean. They provide me with honest advice and recommendations.

I never feel pressured. Over the years I've had numerous services completed including cleaning my vent system, Flow-tech anti-scale, and most recently the whole house carbon filtration system.

I highly recommend the services of Anderson PHA. The plumbing and toilet installation provided by Ken was great.

I highly recommend him. However, the cost for 2 toilets purchased and installed was an atrocity.

What a ripoff! While the invoice the company provides is cleverly designed to NOT itemize the parts and services (except for the "fuel charge" for driving to the job site), it appears that installation costs for 2 toilets was over $1500. No wonder they drive new service trucks.

I would definitely ask for Brandon again! We love Anderson Heating & Plumbing, and they have been our choice for the last 18 years! I was a VIP member and had Anderson out to do the yearly heater service. The heater had been working just fine, but the service guy said there was something wrong with it and he couldn't repair it because it was too old.

A salesperson came soon after to give me an estimate for a new heater. She said she smelled gas, which the service person didn't detect prior to that.

He turned off the gas line and then I got an estimate for around $17,000 for a new system! I initially agreed, but then cancelled to get a second opinion. I had another company come out and he said there was nothing wrong with the heater and he hears this type of thing a lot from people who initially contact companies like Anderson.

He is going to replace the gas line for a nominal fee and I am set. Anderson reached out to me immediately after I posted my yelp review, and they scheduled a technician to review the leaking drain.

The technician was very knowledgeable, detail oriented, professional, and friendly. He spent time to fully disassemble the drain, identify the issue, clean all parts, install, and check to ensure it was working properly.

I really appreciate that Erin took the time to follow up with me and make the situation right that lead to my original yelp review. I hope that Anderson can take some of my critical feedback to continue to improve their business.

Luis did an excellent job identifying that I needed a new garbage disposal. He idenrtfied that I needed a larger pipe to avoid clogs.

Luis installed the new disposal and tested that it worked. Finally, he suggested that my main sink drain be checked free of charge.

I had called Anderson Plumbing to replace a kitchen faucet. The plumber came, looked at the faucet that I had purchased and gave me a written quote to change out the faucet.

The quote amounted to 870.00. Since this was so ridiculously expensive, I asked the plumber if this was a joke.

He said the quote came from the main office. I sent him away.

I found another company that came out and spent about a half an hour doing the job and charged me 40.00. I can not imagine how a major company that claims nobody wows clients like they do, could be so corrupt.

They wowed me alright. This is the worst case of grossly over charging that I have ever experienced.

We requested a service provider from Anderson plumbing to come give us a quote to repair our water heater with the parts we already had. They require a $45 fee just to come and also money for gas.

The quote the repair person gave was astronomical for what he said would take a little over an hour. He said it would cost $1,200 to do.

We were shocked and appalled. We did not proceed with the repair.

The office that took down our information would not give us a range or hourly idea over the phone. It was a total waste of time and money.

The repair person was polite and professional but we were not going to pay over $600 an hour. They really disappointed us and we will not be using them in the future.

After months of having one over priced, scamming, unreliable plumbers, Jorge was able to easily fix what other plumber who disappeared wasn't able to! As a new resident of San Diego I really didn't know any good reliable plumbers and I thought we couldn't find one. Our hopes were down the drain lol I wish we could of called this company the first time so we didnt have to loose so much time and didn't have to pay so much!! I 100% recommend! They got here in within 1 hour of calling them, they had an Amazing price and they fixed so fast! Thank you I had lost my hope in humanity! Just had a great experience with Anderson Plumbing.

I had an issue with a leaking faucet of a built in wall bathroom room sink. Two other plumbing companies came out to my condo, assessed the situation and said they would be unable to do the job - as the shut off valves were frozen and behind this awkward ceramic add-on part of my sink.

And I didn't like having this running water from the leaking faucet, worried it may get worse. Luckily the technician from the 2nd plumbing company recommended I give Anderson Plumbing a call for this type of issue.

Well let me tell you, Mary Jean Anderson and her team don't play - they really did wow me by resolving this situation that had 2 other plumbing companies befuddled. Dylan David and his assistant came out to my condo and efficiently diagnosed the situation and took the steps to repair it / replace it that same day.

I am so relieved to have this situation taken care of. Thank you Anderson Plumbing! I most definitely shall repeat business with this company.
