Young man comes out , starts snaking , messes around for 10 minutes and says he thinks there are roots clogging the pipe And he already called out his supervisor . Sure enough the supervisor comes out with a camera that won't work because of the backed up pipe , tells me I need to spend 950 to power wash the pipe so the camera will work .
About this time I notice the Young man never had a TIP on the snake! Then I asked the young man if he even capped the clean out and checked to see if he actually unclogged the system himself ! He was like no . So they never intended to unclog my pipe ! It's all staged ! Services were declined .

By the way the next day George Baird came out and unclogged it in about 7 minutes . He even had a Tip on his snake ! Great and thorough job by Morgan clearing out my shower drain.

I had a coupon that they would clear the line with a snake for $64. They were attentive and came out immediately.
The technician snaked the line and said he couldn't get through... and a field service rep showed up.
They tried to sell me a $40,000 "plumbing repair" which was out of the question I said sorry I'm just going to have to live with clogged plumbing. I paid them $64 and they went on their way.
I received multiple messages from the marketing office, wanting to know how was satisfied with their service. Well the technicians were nice and friendly and if the $64 had actually done something it would've been a bargain.
The next day I had a different plumber come out who was local and for $125. He snaked the line.
It's been fine ever since. We requested service for a clogged kitchen drain.
Ryan came out this afternoon and literally spent hours working on our drain! He was very courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. Our drain was terribly clogged and difficult to clear.

We called this company on Friday 8/25 to schedule their drain sewer cleaning coupon of $54 Next day Saturday morning 8/26 gave me 30 min heads up before they arrived ! they did way more than what we thought! they did everything they said on the coupon they advertise and even more ! They spend 2 hours ( 2 guys ) and they explained me everything they going to do! Than the manager came by with the camera and showed me what it looks like ! I was amazed with their machines and equipment that they used during the inspection, They gave me a recommendations for my house that I will consider doing with them in the near future! Price for the estimate was good and straightforward with no games of sales people ! Which I loved! Thank you guys! We called Rooter Solutions out to fix our upstairs toilet that had overflowed - they diagnosed the problem after snaking the drain -- our 40 year old toilets simply needed replacement. Their initial diagnosis was very reasonably priced.
We purchased 3 new toilets and they came back out to replace them, as well as an angle stop, and again, a very reasonable price for labor. Joseph was super sweet and we felt 100% comfortable with him in our home, along with others on his team who came out to help him finish up late on a Friday afternoon.

They were wonderful! Friendly, competent, & it was a great price. Then, another drain stopped working.
So, I called them again. What they found was a serious problem.
My home is 65 years old & had still the original cast iron sewer lines. One had corroded & cracked.
It was leaking under the slab foundation. I got to see everything the camera showed & supervise the job from start to finish at each phase.
My opinions on how I wanted things done were accepted graciously & implemented, while the technical aspects were explained clearly so that I could make informed decisions. Which, as a woman, I found very refreshing.
It seems this kind of problem is their speciality. I was in one of those 'emergency' situations & the work needed to be done immediately.
I must admit the price quote freaked me out. But they folded all the earlier work charges into that total & I didn't have time to go looking for other bids.
So, I signed with them to do it. The old adages "You get what you pay for" & "You pay for what you get" both applied here.
The team excavated under my home thru tunnel openings they jackhammered out of the slab in my laundry room & an outside walkway as if they were archeologists searching for Pharaoh's Tomb. They ran into many & varied unexpected problems but just handled them as part of the deal.
They also managed to avoid damaging as much of my floor & wall tiling as possible & protected the areas they worked in from unnecessary damage. Using the most modern tech, they recreated a new sewer main, replaced all 4 sink, 2 toilet, & 2 shower drains from UNDERNEATH the slab! Only the back-to-back toilet closets required removing some existing tile floor inside the house in one bathroom.
And they kept that hole as small as humanly possible. They also brought the main sewer line cleanouts up to the latest building codes with respect to septic tanks.
The new cleanout close to the tank is a "pop-up" so that if the tank ever backs up it will release itself outside, instead of coming into the house. They even made it possible to clear the kitchen & laundry room sink drains thru a second cleanout at the other end of the main without going inside the house.
The concrete installation crew did a wonderful job refilling the holes, too. Fernando helped me arrange for an instant, interest deferred* loan to get the work done, as well.
When all is said & done, I am thrilled by the job they did. All their people were wonderful.
Joseph had been the main lead on this job & I adore his great customer service attitude. There was nothing I needed or wanted that he wasn't ready to do himself or send someone to handle if it wasn't his area of expertise.
As with most such jobs, it took longer than estimated (Murphy's Law applies, & his wife & kids will certainly stop by). I just accepted that fact.
And, there will DUST! Lots & lots of fine, nose-irritating DUST!!! Protect &/or cover EVERYTHING you can, even if you think the dust won't get that far. Have some extra rags available to soak up water in case they are needed.
BTW: *Be aware that deferred interest loans are tricky. If you can't be sure you are able to pay each monthly payment on time & in full, AND pay off the 'balloon' at the end of the deferred period BEFORE the due date they will cost you many times what the job costs, depending on how long it takes you to pay such a loan off.
I knew I was able to set up my future finances so that I could do that. Please READ any such loan contract VERY carefully.
25% or more interest is NOT something you want to be charged! In the process of getting the pipe replaced going into the septic tank. Initially called for a clogged drain and had an amazing technician, Dylan that cleared it out.
This is an ongoing problem with a super old pipe going into the septic tank so it always gets clogged and had plumbers come out and say they'll remove a clogged drain for $69 and then end up charging $250 before leaving. This company was very honest and honored their online special to clear the clogged drain for $55 so my thoughts were that they were going to be fair.
I got a quote to dig up the area and replace the old pipe going into the septic tank for $3,200 with an estimated time of about 2 days. I had a similar quote in the past.
They dig out the area and find that there is concrete patched up around the septic tank that they'll have to chip away. Now the price is $1,000 more, and completion time is the same time as before.
I don't get it. I would like to say the technician that came out to my home.

We hired them to install a whole home water filter, based on the flyer that they mail to homes in our area, and I'm very happy to have found them.. I was so happy to find an affordable plumber these guys saved me from a ridiculous price someone else wanted to charge me.
I should have checked their reviews BEFORE calling them. I was, like others, being drawn by their advertised drain cleaning coupon $54.
Little do I know I ended up paying $550 and problem still not solved. The technician is not skilled and the manager is a sales person like another reviewer commented.
After arrival, the technician snaked the pipe and told me it is not working. He called the manager who came with a camera and told me I need to hydro jet, or the drain will be clogged again.
I wasn't sure at the moment but was scared/worried into agreeing to do the hydro jet, hoping it will buy me at least a year's smooth running pipe. I watched the technician spending about 20 min or so cleaning the pipe and then he told me everything is good.
I didn't see anything come out. He said all gunks are pushed to city sewer.
Right after he left, I am disappointed to find out the drain is still not good. I see small improvements but definitely not draining well.
So I called the office, I was told technician and manager will call me back. NO ONE DID! I didn't use the sink for the night.
The next day, I called office again. By that time.

Manager finally called and offered to come back to clean the pipe again. He has excuses like they were busy the day before, the message from office got lost, they were planning to come back to check the pipe the next day etc.
He sounds defensive and hostile and he again being a sales person, talked me into sending another technician to make it right. Guess what? No one called me back and again, I am left in the dark with this drain problem.
The one star is for the office, who at least makes me feel not being threatened or intimidated. Jonathan was the greatest plumber! He was friendly and explained everything to me.

I can't make a claim because they have not provided the necessary documents. I was told they would get the documents to me back in September.

Just got off the phone with a supervisor from the California State Licensing Board. Rooter Solutions does NOT have a valid and current license as plumbers.
They will be receiving a warning letter from CSLB. If they continue to operate unlicensed, they will be fined.

They are the worst. They broke sprinklers while putting in drains or just took sprinklers out and they said they will put them back they just put them in the ground connected to nothing.

Grease accumulation over time, regardless of how careful you may be, adds to the clogging of the pipes. Scheduled a 2 hr window and the scheduler called right at the end of the window to proactively say the guys in the truck where on the way.

They were amazing from start to finish. My mom used their company a few months ago and felt like they were honest and fair.
They fixed one thing that was broken so she called them back out to look at her garbage disposal, which was done correctly it is just small, and they didn't charge her anything. Fast forward 3 months when I needed help.
I called then because my mom was so happy with them and Pablo came out, which happened to be my moms plumber, and he recognized her, and offered to place a camera free to see what the damage was or what needed replaced/fixed. It turned out to have cracks and breaks all throughout (this house was built in 1960s).
We then discussed our options and I had a huge project all of a sudden. To put it mildly, I was stressed and disappointed but this company really was wonderful.
I got financing through them immediately and they started the next day. They had to jack hammer through concrete in my garage and dig up my whole front yard which was turf, to lay all new piping and they had to drill through my bathroom to replace all the existing pipes as well.
It was a mess. However, these guys worked so hard and efficiently and I basically had all that work done in a week.
Minus a few things here and there that they will need to finish this week but everything is livable :). Honestly I would NEVER call anyone else.

We are seniors, and they came to fix a sewer venting pipe that had broken apart in the attic, causing a bad smell in the bathroom. That went really well, or so we thought.
(More on that later) We paid them, however, we still had a horrid smell in the bathroom the next day. When I told them, they said they were going to come back, so I ask to be put on the schedule with a 6 days advance request.
Incidentally, they had to take out the entire bathroom sink to access and repair site and glue the sewer venting pipes. So we haven''t had a sink in our bathroom for about 2 weeks.
We made a plan for them to come back and fix the hot/cold pipes in the bathroom so we could put the sink in, and recheck the smell and trim the pipe on the roof. They said to just let them know when to come back.

Turns out ROOTER SOLUTIONS plumber didn't connect one of the stacks by gluing or repairing it in the wall~~~ so sewer gas was/is still pouring into our bathroom. So it appears they did kind of a crappy job~ and just left us to deal with it.
Save yourself some aggravation~ I wish I had. Memo & Frank came out on an emergency notice to assist with a draining issue.
Frank and Memo were able to identify the issue, develop a solution and we're able to mitigate the issue expeditiously. We are grateful for their expertise in the field and being able to ensure our family has a functioning shower.
Update... I found an honest plumber who got the job done in 3 hours.

Larceny at heart - right here in America. On November 16, 2022, I hired Rooter Solutions Plumbers CA lic #1071065 619-732-0410, to clear a clogged drain.
Then they did a camera scope, thru a vent pipe and found a collapsed cast iron drain pipe in the front yard. And proposed a partial repair for $15.350.79 Last week a big tree fell on my house, and ServPro from Mercury insurance sent out American Leak Detectors to the job.

I just received a coupon mailer with a rooter solution coupon for snake and camera total $ 54.99 so I called the same night and made a appointment for the very next day the technician arrived in the morning I told him the issue and he said no problem it's the sewer line and they will snake it well half a hour or so they knock on the door and say they can't not get through because the pipe is broken and they have to dig to get to the pipe so the can cut it and go directly through the pipe and that it will coast $ 4700.- after some discussion we agreed on $ 4000.- long story short after few hours they said they still can't do it and that they will come back the next day with more powerful machine remember we can't flush toilets or take a shower or use any water at the house. Next morning they came back worked for maybe a hour and got a knock on the door again some new guy i didn't see yet said it's never a good thing if Im here! So I said what now and he said well we have to dig now on the other side of your fence to get to the pipe and that will be $ 7200.- on top of the $ 4000.- and that did not included the actual fixing of the broken pipe so when I asked how much for the pipe and he said well we can't tell you right now so I said ok I can't afford it please leave and they said did someone talked to you about financing and I said please leave and they said you can't afford not to do it! And I said please leave I will get second opinion! Call plumber who came couple of hours later and had it snake out in30 minutes went with camera all the way to the red pipe what I learn was a city pipe so they just digout my yard and wanted to charge me minimum of $ 11000.- for nothing I called and complained they said they sorry and will refund my $ 400.- deposit back but that never happened I end up paying $ 2300.- total which included 475.- for the clogged pipe and camera and the rest for the damage rooter solution created ! We had a slow-draining kitchen sink for weeks.
After we tried several things ourselves, we finally called Rooter Solutions to use their $54.95 coupon. They came out and tried to snake the drain but were also unsuccessful.
Then Christian came with the camera. He was great! He let me watch the screen as he scoped the drain.
I couldn't really tell what I was looking at, but he was real good about explaining it to me. I asked him how he could interpret the images so well, and he said, "12 years of doing this!" He pointed out (on the screen) all the gunk inside the long horizontal run of 2" ABS pipe, and then he showed me where that 2" pipe entered into the main, larger drain.
We are in a manufactured home, and he explained that the drain configurations are often odd in manufactured/mobile homes, and that a long horizontal run like ours is often not strapped up (supported) as well as it should be under the home, and that the horizontal pipe often sags, making it even easier for the gunk to accumulate. The camera showed that the clog was 16' in from the clean-out under the sink.
Christian recommended that we have them hydro-jet the drain(s). We haven't done it yet because hydro-jetting is an expensive service.
I do really appreciate his professionalism and knowledge. He was very patient and offered us some suggestions as well.
I have used these guys previously and found their service and pricing fair. Unlike many plumbers who seem to think they are the only plumbers in the market.
I called them again for a similar issue. However it appears there is a major change in philosophy at this company.
They wanted to charge me $1500 for a simple drain cleaning that was going to take their crew about 1-2 hours. Not only did they ignore their published pricing, but they also failed to offer me any sort of senior discount.

I saw their $54 coupon on Get One Free magazine, so I called them again for my garbage disposal problem. First, I'd like to compliment Alec, the dispatcher for being polite, friendly, and helpful in answering my questions.
He scheduled a tech to check out my problem. Ryan came on a Saturday and started testing our disposal.
He said that he won't charge us if he can't clear the garbage disposal. He attempted to clear the pipe but could not clear it.
Ryan did not give up, but instead, he dug his hand deep into the disposal and pushed out what felt like accumulated grease. The disposal started working again! Ryan was also friendly and polite, and we would ask for him again, if possible, to service our next plumbing need.
We will definitely call Rooter Solutions again! Keep up the good work, guys! Mark was recommended to me by a friend who had experienced the same problem I had - the need for sewer line replacement in a 1950's home. My friend had nothing but good things to say about her experience - including that Mark was able to accomplish something that other plumbing companies could not.

They spent a lot of time with me and were very attentive to my questions and concerns. Equally important, Mark did a very comprehensive analysis of my home, the issues and the ways to go about the re-piping.
I had concerns about tearing through new flooring and he was able to prevent that in his plan. The bid from Rooter Solutions was very competitive, the employees who came to the house were friendly and polite.
Mark's extensive plumbing background and ability to explain all the steps in detail gave me great peace of mind. I will definitely suggest Rooter Solutions to other friends.
Just got almost run off the road by one of your vehicles. I was merging onto the 15 freeway with my signal on and your guy came across at least 2 lanes to sped past! He then proceeded to weave in out of the 7am traffic at about 80mph.
I hope wherever he was going was important. We received a coupon in the mail for a $68 drain clean out service from Rooter Solutions.
We had a minor backup in our laundry drain. When the technician started snaking the drain, we suddenly had a major backup.
The company recommended a hydro wash and then did a video look at the sewer lines to the tune of $500. In the end, they recommended repairs ranging from $8000 to $15,000! Needless to say, we got a second opinion from a company who only does pipe inspections and gives you a video of their findings.
They found no issues of concern with our plumbing and sewer lines and gave us a DVD of their findings to prove it. Bottom line....do not let a cheap coupon offer fool you into doing business with a company that you've never used before.
This company cost us an unnecessary additional charge of $432. The pipe inspection was $160.
I would most definitely NOT recommend this company. Be careful with using their coupon since their warranty for 30 days is not honored if you use their special price ! Technician assured me his work has 30 days guarantee, but when I called they said because I used their $58 special to snake the drainage , the warranty does not apply.
They said it is in the contract ! Too bad I did not read the fine prints in the contract and trusted the verbal information. Would not recommend them for this reason and also that I had to call back two weeks after the job.
Called about 3 other drain cleaning services with no straight answer to simple questions such as "assuming it's the most simple drain to clean-- what's the least it will cost to get my drain cleared?" Rooter Solutions answered the question straight away and provided an appointment within a couple hours. Alberto arrived on time, was professional, and went above and beyond to get the drain cleared.
I've dealt with a number of plumbing issues on past properties of mine and this was the most difficult block I've seen to get past. After trying many different approaches, he got the water flowing smoothly again.

I was very impressed & happy with my recent plumbing experience. I had approx.
50 feet of ancient sewer pipe replaced by Rooter Solutions. It was full of holes & roots.
Robin was kind, courteous & very helpful, he explained all of the steps. Isai showed me images from their camera inside the pipe, he helped me understand all of their fancy equipment & the process involved.
They gave me a fair price, treated me with respect & were always considerate. Robin & Carlos were very hard & neat workers & always left my yard so that it was safe.

At first, they couldn't unclog our drain. Then they recommended hydro-jetting.
Huge mistake. Sewer water shot out of our bathroom, and flooded most of our downstairs -- forcing us to go through weeks of remediation, insurance hassles, rebuilding estimates, etc.
Only reason I'm not giving them zero stars is because they immediately tried to make it right, booking a flood restoration company, paying for our hotel for three nights, and saying they'll cover the rebuilding costs. Pedro and Pablo are good.
But as for their other workers, watch em like a hawk. I had a clogged toilet that refused to be plunged and called Rooter Solutions who answered my call right away.
The techs who arrived were Orlando and Jesse and they were extremely professional, clean, and knew exactly what needed to be done and they fixed my toilet in no time at all. They went the extra mile and cleaned my toilet and bathroom floor.
I cant say enough good things about the two techs who showed up and how they represented the company they work for. I will be recommending both of them and Rooter Solutions for all my plumbing needs.

The tech arrived on time and started the job but on the first line he discovered that the tip had broken off of his rooter machine. He called his boss, Isai, who brought a endoscope-type camera over and sent it down the line that his tech had tried to clean.
He said that there were too many roots for them to clean the line. They charged me $125 and cleaned none of my drain lines.
I've cleaned these lines with a hand snake in the past so I know that they can be cleaned of roots. I'm not a happy customer.

Technicians Lincoln and Angel shows up , covered their shoes before entering the house, I told Them it's ok, the floor is wet anyways cos of the leakage but they said it ok, they did what they suppose to do in a timely manner and left, very professional and satisfied with their work, I recommend this family oriented company to anyone who needs plumbing service ASAP. Within a couple of hours, Robert (Mendoza) arrived and totally went above and beyond to solve the problem. Not only did he unclog the horrifically clogged tub, but he cleaned my tub too! I fully expected to find a gross, dirty tub (which is how it was originally because of the clogged drain and standing water), but it was sparking clean! Robert was thoroughly pleasant and positive through the whole ordeal.
I'm super impressed with him. Highly recommend! I had an appointment for 10 am on a Saturday, but then I got a call saying that they would come at 2-4 instead due to an emergency with another customer.
My garbage disposal was jammed, and Juan was able to fix that but said that it would probably need to be replaced soon. Not sure how old it is since I rent.

Thought I'd try Rooter Solutions postcard deal, but I had the blockage cleared before the guy arrived. He tried to up-sell to Hydro Rooting the main line for $500.
What a joke. We're very familiar with tiny hair-like tree roots that can get into the old main line after a six-month period.
Happily back to our inexpensive, reliable rooter guy to handle those Rooter Solutions was able to schedule service the same day I reached out at a very fair price. The bonus, they sent a very approachable and knowledgeable plumbing tech (Carlos) who readily addressed and resolved my plumbing issue.
He also offered me additional information that I found to be helpful. Thank you Rooter Solutions! I had a badly clogged toilet and was afraid it was going to cost me a lot.
Thankfully Carlos did an amazing job. My $68 coupon was all I needed.

Thanks Rooter Solutions (Qte) this review is from my 93 old neighbour We contacted rooter solutions pluming from an ad which started saying "It drains or you don't pay" also the ad said", exceptional service guaranteed". We asked them to clear our shower drain the technician said it cost us $54.00, the shower and sink goes into the same bathroom drain which he also snaked the sink drain, and surprsingly he charged us$108.00 and they were told that the drains were cleared.
Two days later the shower drain was clogged up again, my mother called them back and asked if they guaranteed the work because the drain was still clogged, and not cleared they told her there is no guaranteed and the technician would return for an additional cost. Today I called another plumber and he used multiple machine and told us trutfully that it could not be cleared and he also said the reason is because of pipe buildup and he did not charges us a penny.
I believe that the Rooter solution should have been able to afford us an honest answer and not over charged my 93 years old mother for $108.00 for the services not rendered. The second plumber was able to diagnose the problem without the use of a camera he was very knowledgeble and informative with no fee.

We couldn't figure out what went wrong we tried using a plunger and snake but nothing worked and we called Rooter Solutions. Carlos Torres was the one who came and he went above and beyond to help us and make sure to fix the damage.
