Eduardo came out and was very professional and communicative. He snaked the pipes from both clean outs (front and back).
From the front yard clean out he was only able to go so far as the snake would not go through, suggesting that the main pipe, going under the street, near the main pipe may be damaged. So, I will call them to use the camera and possible hydro to open the drain.
If it is a damaged pipe, hoping the problem is within the scope of the city of Oceanside!!! :( After reading their reviews previously, I was reticent to call. But, it seems the employee issues have been resolved.

Sometime you have to pay more to get the job done right and I thought the cost for the job was worth the final result. Francisco was also great answering my questions as it taught me a lot more about what to look for and minimize future issues.

John The HOA called to address a leak near a backflow servicing park irrigation. Eddie took four trips back and forth over four days, leaving what you see in the pictures.
It leaked instantly, and Eddie had no desire to fix it and frankly could have cared less. I attached the screenshot of his text response.
Texted me back that he was off, and would call the office. Eventually after a bunch of back and forth, Christian came out and fixed what Eddie screwed up.
One star is only because Christian was a good guy and fixed Eddie's mess in about 45 minutes. While battling with ASAP to make the whole thing right, I called three other plumbers for quotes.
The highest quote I got from those three was just over half what ASAP charged. So ASAP charged almost double what the most expensive other quote was, and took 9 days, 5 trips, and countless phone calls and texts to finish the repair.
I don't even think the work they did was needed quite frankly. I think we got hosed, but the old parts disappeared, so I have no way to check.
If you're not going to sit there watching every move, and you don't know basic plumbing yourself, don't call them. Call someone else you can trust.

Was great! Hi, My HOA ordered ASAP plumbing to fix pipes, forcing me to change my shower valve through them. The price was 2-3X more than any other licensed plumbers in the San Diego area.
After the valve was fixed, it started to leak again the next day. It was not fixed and tested at all.
The leak caused damage to my insulation and delayed my reconstruction workers scheduled the next day. ASAP plumbing fixed the leak overnight was so happy with their response until it started leaking again.
I am calling them to fix the leak but they block my phone number. ASAP Plumbing only calling me to pay for the work which they never did.
Nothing but issue after issue after issue. We hired them when our shower started leaking, then it created a back up into the bathroom.
They were terrible with communication. I called them again for a kitchen sink issue, they said they would show up between 2-4, they show up at 4:30.
Because we have a tenant living in there we give the plumbing company the go ahead to schedule with the tenant directly. Then they call the tenant and tell the tenant they need ME to call to schedule! Their right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing Then we finally reschedule and when they finally show up, they don't fix the problem the same day.
They inform the tenant they'll show up the next day which they don't then their answering service HUNG UP on me when I expressed frustration at how poorly run this company is. Avoid at all costs.
They also charge an arm and a leg and it's not based in reality All right so immediately after posting this review I get a call from Angel and he apologizes and says he will fix someone out there to fix the problem. A plumber did go out there and they took $100 off my invoice.
So at least if you put up enough of a complaint they may address it However either way my review doesn't change. They charged me $350 to snake a drain which is insane Edit number 2: they called me after they read this review and did not end up charging me to snake the drain.
They also offered to send another plumber to repair the remaining part of the sink that the first plumber diagnosed as a problem. And they offered to do this additional repair free of charge.
They did not ask me to change my review in exchange for this. It seems this company does care about customer service, but I am declining the additional work as I don't care to do business with them anymore.
However I did want to update this review as it's pretty rare for a company to apologize and then go above and beyond to right their wrongs. Angel was very polite and professional and I appreciated his clear communication.

Quick response, at night, to a severe leak in my irrigation system. Francisco arrived at 6:30 pm to assess the issue.
Once it was determined that it would be a pretty extensive repair, we agreed to do the work the following day. He remained on site doing prep work for another almost hour.

Horrible experience I called them on saturday the 28th of sept and was scheduled for appointment between 3-5 I was called a little before the appointment and was told the technician was backed up and can we reschedule for Sunday and that they would provide me a 10% discount and i would be made a priority so i agreed and they rescheduled me for Sunday the 29th between 3-5 i called them around 4 and was told my appt was now between 4-6 because technician was running late, I waited until 630 and called and was told that they would reach out to the technician, I waited until 750 and called them back and the lady put me on hold for a few minutes only to tell me she just got off the phone with the technician and wanted to reschedule for Monday This was totally unacceptable.

We called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because we were having water pressure issues. ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing sent Francisco Villanueva and Gustavo out, and Francisco was able to quickly determine the issue.
They came back 2 days later because we had to send out a 24-hour notice to turn the water off. When Francisco came back, he replaced the entire water valve and adjoining pipes with brand new copper pipes and welded everything to make sure there were proper seals.
Francisco did an amazing job, and we are happy with the work he did. This is the third plumbing company we had come out to clear a clogged main line (caused by a drywaller pouring a large amount of drywall mud down our shower drain during a remodel).
They essentially had multiple large concrete-like blockages They spent several hours here and literally tried everything and water jetted every chunk until the pipes were cleared. They did what two plumbers before couldn't and solved what would have undoubtedly been an expensive and time consuming job of tearing up floors to reach the blocked pipes through the slab by just diligently working through the process and making small progress over time.
Eduardo and Luis were patient, kind, fair, relentless and hard working. They wouldn't even accept a cash tip.

I was given a 30 day warranty. Price seemed high but I agreed to the repairs.
I checked the toilet after the work and it didn't look like it was ever removed. odd I thought.
see pictures I came back the next morning at 7 am and the drain was already plugged again. I called them back and they came out 5 hrs.
later and ran the snake again clearing the drain. He told me we now no longer had a warranty since he already had to come back out for repairs.
As he was leaving i pointed out that the bathroom sink was now plugged. He came in and looked and said it was something else, not due to what was just done.
I called them back and asked for this sink to be cleared, it took 2 days to get back out to me and when they arrived they again said it was nothing they had done. The plumber said he had called his boss and was told to charge $260.00 to snake the bathroom sink.
That price sounded very high and didn't consider that I had no issues with the sink prior to the work 2 days earlier. I decided not to continue with this company and dismissed the plumber.
I then went to home depot and bought a $35.00 snake and cleaned the sink myself in 30 minutes, and I'm no plumber. In less than week the toilet as again plugged and I called a different company to come out.
While walking the new plumber around, we discovered that the asap plumber had left 2 other cleanouts open in the backyard along with his tool on the ground, see picture. After the new company made repairs, all the drains are now clear, the drain cleanouts are all reinstalled and its been aover a week I don't recommend ASAP and would actually recommend you avoid the wasted time and money with them .
You be the judge, do the pictures look like the toilet was removed? did they even check when they were done? The $425.00 i spent with ASAP was just money down the drain. I received absolutely nothing in return.

The work was done quickly efficiently and it didn't cost me $1 million so I'm happy. I just realized this is the second time I had the hire these gentlemen! Long story short they were paid when the service was completed. They have called and emailed me several times a year for the past few years stating it wasn't paid.

I was hoping I did not have to write a bad review, but my interactions with them have gotten out of hand. Initially called to have someone come out because there was a pool of water on the garage floor.
The technician was a couple minutes late, but not a big deal. When the technician first came, he immediately said the water heater leaked and went to his vehicle to get an estimate for a water heater replacement.
While he was getting an estimate, I looked around the water heater and could not figure out how there was a water heater leak since the box that sat below the water heater was completely dry. The technician came back and I asked him to show me where the leak is coming from.
He said it was hard to tell, but if he cuts open the wooden box, he could show me but he would have to cut open the box. I gave him approval, and once the box was cut open, he determined that there was no leak from the water heater.
It was completely dry. So then proceeded to do a $350 leak detection test but cutting out pieces of drywall.
The parts he cut did not have any leaks detected. It was to the point where I didn't know if cutting up drywall all around the house would help figure out where this leak was coming from.
He said he still had to charge me $350 for the "non-leak detection", but when I am able to better determine where the leak is coming from, he could fix it and apply the $350 towards the future invoice. One week later, the hot water in the house stopped being hot.
I thought it was time to get the Company back to take another look to see if the leak is affecting the water heater. Another technician came out and said it was some fitting that needed to be replaced in the water heater that was causing the water heater not to be hot.
Gave me an estimate to replace the fitting and replace the water heater for thousands more than a realistic cost to replace. I felt like something was wrong so I had another plumbing company come out to take a second look.
The other Company arrived and immediately felt the ground and said there IS a leak. It was a slab leak for a hot water line.
There was nothing wrong with the water heater and nothing wrong with the water heater fitting. The leak hot water line leak was causing the hot water to run and thus the hot water was not being delivered inside the house.
He made ONE cut to the drywall and was able to get the hot water line closed to immediately stop the slab leak. This other plumber also did not know why the ASAP technicians cut the drywall places where it was cut originally.
I would have wasted thousands of dollars on the wrong diagnosis made by ASAP. I also had to pay to get the drywall repairs and painted due to the drywall cuts made by ASAP.
I had already paid the other company for a successful leak detection and requested if ASAP could refund me the $350 I had already paid since no work was done. I called 6+ times and each time they said they would put in the request for refund and gave an excuse of why the previous request was not taken care of.
The initial request was made at the end of February and now it is mid-April. They have poor internal communication and would always make up an excuse saying they will personally follow up or personally have the manager give me a call back but it is all lies.
I have never gotten any calls back from this Company. They are quick to have you pay and take your money and will refuse to admit a mistake.
The real kicker is when I sent them all the information the requested that the other company was able to identify and fix my slab leak...the first and only response from them was following up on the estimate to have my water heater replaced for thousands of dollars in excess of actual cost to replace it. I have already explained to them there is nothing wrong with the water heater so to receive a follow up like that is beyond me.
I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. This was the company that was recommended to me by my home company Gustavo and Ramon were an absolutely pleasure to deal with.
They diagnosed the problem and offered multiple solutions. Gustavo even was willing to talk to a second plumber that the home warranty sent for a "second opinion" who could not figure out what was wrong.

I've used ASAP plumbing a few times now for going to my mom's condo in regards to some leaks and I'm thrilled with their service! They are so quick to come out, they actually arrive in the time frame given and the techs are so knowledgeable. We just had JACK here to fix a leak under bathroom sink and he went above and beyond to get it fixed.
He replaced the bad parts, but also had to so some soldering because the pipes were old and not the right size for the new parts and had to use an adapter. He also fixed a leak my dear husband caused from recently replacing the sink drain LOL.
He walked me through every step of the way, showing me what needed to be done so there were no surprises. He was a gentleman and a scholar! Called ASAP for a quote for plumbing that needed to be reconfigured for an upcoming remodel.
One guy came out, took some notes and said he needed to consult with one of their drain specialists. A week later and still no follow up.
Finally they followed up and the original guy came back with the drain specialist. This was several weeks ago, and still no quote or follow up.
I guess they don't need the work. Very disappointed.
Based on these interactions, I would not work with them or recommend them. Got a service for a water heater replacement through my property manager and these guys charged 3x the going rate of my licensed plumber.

They explain what the problem was and how to correct. They were sent by our property manager but I would call them on my own Francisco did a very good job! He explained everything he had to do and did it well! The best part he is bilingual! Ysidro! Our kitchen sink was backed up, so I contacted ASAP Drain Guys.
I have used them in the past and they have always been great. Andrew and his brother Eddie came out and assessed that the pipe was so blocked that they needed to Hydro jet the pipe to clear it.
He explained the whole process and then showed me with the camera that goes in the pipes afterwards. They were both very polite and thorough.

So here it is. My main sewer line was blocked, ASAP came out quickly to fix the problem.

He also modified the unit to make it easier for us to upkeep our new tank. His work was clean and professional.
When the knob was missing on the tank, he called the manufacturer and quickly ordered a new one. ASAP always sends excellent plumbers.
The only reason I dinged them by one star is because of the missing knob and the unit was delivered to them with a bent mounting bracket (totally fixable, but still). Not exactly their fault, but maybe an inventory of parts or getting a more reliable distributor for parts is in order.

Was scheduled from 3-5pm, and I had to call at 5:15p to find out what the ETA is. Found out they wouldn't be able to come until way later.
We had already spent 3 hours waiting around for them to show for this plumbing emergency. What a disappointment.
We woke up to a major flood on the side of our house, with no idea where it was coming from. Called ASAP due to the reviews and seeing their trucks in our neighborhood, our tech Mikey was awesome.
He arrived 2 hours before the estimated time (which was so appreciated because we had to shut our water off). He was knowledgeable, communicative, and fixed the issue without having to pull up any of our pavers or retaining well.
Replaced all the rocks he had to relocate in order to dig so that it looked perfect. Would definitely use them again.
Had to call a plumber on a Sunday. ASAP guys responded quick and Steven O.
rushed over to address the issue. Had a dripping water heater hose.
Steven was quick to recommend what to do to reduce any damages. Correction was made and the dripping was no more.

He was polite, he explained things to me thoroughly and he was efficient in the job done. I would definitely work with this company in the future based on this experience! The plumber that was sent out was very good, it's the office staff that are lacking.
Five day's to get a simple receipt and report? I needed it right away for insurance purposes. Skip these guy's and call another business.

Paid for a leak detection service and the leak was not detected. Ended up being an active leak and recommendations were completely not in line with the actual solve.
I paid and requested a refund but have not heard back from anybody. Wouldn't recommend ASAP for plumbing based on this experience.
I have a lot to say about this company. First and foremost the technician was quick, professional and upon initial inspection thought the problem was fixed.
the price however is EXTREMELY high with $295 just to snake a shower, plus an additional $395 for a toilet snake / removal. these prices are insanely high and the worst part is the issue (clog) was fixed.
When reaching back out to the company they said they would get back to me (they never did) and that my brand new home less than 1 year old does not qualify for a warranty so if they came back out it would be another $295. This company just wants peoples money and don't care about the customer.
I am very disappointed and am taking my business elsewhere and I suggest if you are reading this you do the same. The plumber that they sent was Luis Ortega.
He was the best,Easter weekend and the toilet starts leaking. He came over within a half an hour with a temp fix and then came back Monday with the permanent fix.

I called them out to simply snake a kitchen sink drain thru the clean out valve. I asked the tech to give me a price for the job before he started the work.
It's a good thing I did, because when he called me he told me the price would be $350.00!!!!! I was completely flabbergasted! I said, to snake the drain? $350.00, are you serious? Next I asked him if there was a charge for him coming out to the property and he said no, so I immediately cancelled. I'm not willing to pay such an exorbitant price! Next I got on the Internet to check out other drain cleaning companies and the first one I found was $54! I immediately called them and they scheduled me that same night which was a Saturday night between 5-7 pm.
They didn't ask for more money because it was Saturday or late on Saturday night and beyond normal business hours. ASAP tried to justify their price by saying, well, it is Saturday! No, this was an absolute rip off! So, as a result of this experience, I will never contact them again to do business with them.
You definitely do not get value for services rendered! Please do not call blindly and do your research first. I would have paid 6 to 7 times more than I needed to pay if I had not cancelled the service.
Also, I have been a RE Broker and property manager in San Diego for 50 years! I have managed multiple houses and condos for owners over the years. Because of my knowledge, I knew immediately that this price I was quoted was way way out of line.
But, unfortunately, most people may not know how crazy prices can be. And, those people can be taken advantage of! Hopefully this post will make you more aware of those with ill intentions or who don't really care about you.
They are all about the money!!! While they were quick to respond and showed up on time, it was all downhill after that. I needed an emergency water heater replacement, which they did quickly.
But, they never talked about options and the final price was over 2x more than what it should have cost. It also failed 3 times, so they had to make 3 more trips back, at a huge inconvenience for our family, to fix their install.
My contractor later saw the heater and commented that it was really poorly done and the electrical was unsafe and needed to be worked on again. DO NOT CALL THEM Quoted over phone and overcharged excessively When job finished.
Never got a receipt from them when my wife paid by credit card for a couple of days. Maybe a tactic used to hide charges.
Do have proof of my emails asking for receipt of work done for days and waiting and then discovering amount charged. I recommend getting everything in writing before then begin work or you will be hoodwinked by their tactics.
