Instead of trying to convince me to that he has to come over and charge me $150 for an inspection, he asks me some simple questions...all leading to the answer that there's nothing wrong with mthe shower valve, thus saving me money and him a trip.

He came out immediately to look at the problem and clearly explained the problem and three possible solutions. The third option was something that he suggested we try first, for free, to see if we could resolve the issue without spending hundreds of dollars.

I highly recommend Plumb Loco! My wife and I have been working with Oscar and Plumb Loco since finding them in the GSDBA guide in 2010. Oscar has spent a lot of time fixing various plumbing issues at our house: water lines, gas lines, replacing our water heater, etc., and is always willing to give us his expert advice if we have a general plumbing question.

Two weeks ago, we called him out to perform annual maintenance on our tankless water heater. Since San Diego has especially hard water, we need to get our unit flushed annually to keep the water heater functioning normally.

During the routine visit, Oscar noticed that the unit was leaking, which, of course, isn't normal. We were able to get the manufacturer to replace the leaking unit entirely, but now the new unit isn't functioning as expected.

Over the past two weeks, Oscar has been to our home at least four times, working with us and Takagi technical support to test various components of the unit, tirelessly troubleshooting all possible issues and resolutions. All through this process, Oscar has been professional and - undoubtedly - our advocate.

Oscar, the very handsome head guy at Plumb Loco (great name, isn't it?) answered the phone on the first ring...on a SUNDAY! I was shocked! It was not an emergency but I had two kitchen sinks backed up with gunk. He said he had several jobs on Monday but that he would definitely call me Monday afternoon and come out.

I figured, "Uh huh..." but was pleasantly surprised when he kept his word. He did not want to walk through our home as he felt he was too dirty, so he used the garage access.

Oscar was able to come up with a plan to get my gas turned back on and they went to work. They worked full days for 3 days in a row, basically redoing the gas lines in my 100+ year old house.

Instead of throwing one giant timeline w/ a big price tag next to it for the entire project, Oscar broke it down into smaller pieces so that it would be easier to digest financially and the least disruptive to normal life.

He truly does look out for his customers. On another occasion, I had a bathroom sink handle stop functioning correctly so I went out and bought a whole new faucet.

The idea was just to replace the existing one. Unfortunately space behind the sink was tight and would've needed the sink pulled out to get in there.

So I called up Oscar again and had him come out to take a look. He noticed the current faucet was a Moen and told me to call them and give them the part number and they would send me a replacement.

After that the fix was just popping the top off the handle and replacing the cartridge parts. Saved me a bunch of money and I was able to return the replacement faucet I had purchased.

I'm a handyman, but this was beyond my scope of plumbing knowledge so I called Plumb Loco based on the reviews. Oscar and his team were knowledgeable, professional, and beyond reasonable.

They were able to come out within 24 hours on my non-emergency call. He gave me an estimate letting know that it could cost $300 if he had to replace certain things but because it turned out to be less labor, he only charged me $148 for parts and labor.

Needless to say, we were very pleased with the end result. Oscar is the best!!! On time, friendly, explains what's going on in easy to understand terms and reasonably priced.

Yeah, that pretty much covers it. I'm in the real estate business and if you really need to understand what's going on for a buyer before they commit to the purchase, it's really worth it for Oscar to take a look and if he can't figure it out by checking everything from the outside, then he can bring out his scope to see what's going on from the inside.

It's not Loco to use Oscar, it's smart. We own a 100-year-old house that had no pressure regulator, so we called Plumb Loco to come install it.

The work was done quickly and professionally, and Oscar himself came back a couple of days later at no charge to adjust the water pressure. The cost was also far less than what larger companies (Bill Howe, Courtesy Plumbing) wanted to charge.

Our bathtub drain was backed up, so after a few other services couldn't come out the same day, I called Plumb Loco. Oscar was able to work with me and come to our house within the hour.

They unclogged the tub and fixed our continuously running toilet (that had been driving me nuts for six months) in about a half hour. They were honest, fast, thorough, and very professional, and I highly recommend them.

This review is because of the lack of customer service. My home warranty company assigned Solid Plumbing to my sump pump replacement job.

Two technicians came out initially and the more senior one quoted me $899 additional to do hydrojetting and said if I agreed to that they'd also install a cleanout for free. In the end I got my home warranty company to pay the $899 but the technician did not install the "free" cleanout offered.

When I asked him why he said he had to have his boss call me. Well, that didn't happen.

Then I called the office and spoke with a woman who said she'd have someone call me. A month later I still have not received a call back.

I finally called back again and after pushing got to speak to Daisia (?), the manager, who told me because my home warranty paid them they couldn't install the free cleanout, which makes ZERO sense. What happened here is they got the same amount of money from the home warranty and got away with doing less work than if I paid.

I would never recommend this company for being dishonest and having horrible customer service. If you can't even return a call how can anyone trust you to do the work? Roy was the best! Showed up with a friendly smile and knew exactly how to solve the problem.

Not only did he fix the problem but he also cleaned up after. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Solid is our go-to plumber from now on. Two huge thumbs up! Called the office and had a tech at my house within a couple of hours to discuss the issue.

His name was Steven. Within 30 minutes, we had a plan of attack for the next day.

Steven showed up with Omar the next day and began to jet my sewer main from the kitchen sink drain. I don't have an exterior cleanout so it made the job a little tougher.

The piping had to be cut out to make the jetting easier. Steven and Omar worked together to get the jetting done running the high pressure line through the main several times working through a stubborn soft clog that was giving us issues.

It was about 50 feet of main that was jetted without any issues. After the jetting was done, Steven re-plumbed the p-trap and installed a studor vent.

The old studor vent stopped functioning. The way Steven re-plumbed it gave us more room under the kitchen sink allowing for the insta-hot and reverse osmosis units more room to move around without hitting a pipe.

The p-trap piping is much more compact now and looks much better too. The quality of the work was very clean.

After the job was done and he verified there were no leaks, Steven took the time to remove all debris and wiped the floor clean and wiped down the inside of the cabinet. He was great to work with and instilled confidence with his abilities to get the job done.

The reason I didn't give a five star review was because they installed a shark bite system backwards without realizing it and their plan was to cut piping until they found out why after the repair I had no water pressure. I called another plumber and they immediately told me Solids repair was done incorrectly (shark bite backwards) and quickly fixed it.

The other plumbing team didn't talk trash, they just simple fixed it. I called solid for a refund and Kristina was amazing about it and understood.

After my four star review Mario called me saying he didn't deserve a four star as I got my money back and it was unprofessional of the other plumbers to reuse the shark bite that was installed incorrectly. I got the idea he wanted a five star review and gave it to him because I respected him and the reasoning.

He said he'd take care of me for future needs and I believed him. Nearly a year later I decide I was ready to repipe my entire home.

I call and get Kristina (who again, is wonderful). She scheduled the appt and I got a time.

I didn't hear the time window so when I expected the plumber I called and was answered my Mario. I wanted to verify he was the person I spoke with last year by asking if he was the owner and he said "well that doesn't really matter" I brought up the incident so he'd remember me and his first response was "well there's no proof we installed it backwards, but I remember you" which I thought was oddly aggressive- especially since I was going back to him for a chance at a bid for a fairly large project.

I felt like I politely texted him about that and I get a call that the original plumber whom I did not trust was scheduled. Normally, that'd be fine.

It's been a year, people make mistakes and we all learn. But between Mario's unreasonable aggression, me remembering I had to change a 4 star to a 5 star review and my poor original experience I decided to update all reviews as I told Mario I would do.

I was out of town for the weekend and apparently a copper pipe burst in the middle of the night and I only found out about it in the morning after waking up to a barrage of texts from my downstairs tenant showing pics and videos of it essentially raining from the ceiling all throughout the house! Yikes I was so stressed of the aftermath driving back to my home not having any idea of what had happened or what I was walking into and how I was going to deal with it all and my tenant! Luckily my tenant had called solid plumbing and drains after hours and they arrived immediately, found the issue and being that they couldn't get a hold of me they fixed it without worrying about pay or anything. My tenant had assured them when I get back I'll take care of any costs (and of course I did).

I had a plumbing issue that was covered under my home warranty with American Home Shield. I'm always a bit apprehensive when calling AHS because sometimes the company they send to fix issues are not the greatest.

This was not the case with Solid Plumbing. I received a call from the owner of Solid Plumbing shortly after I made the request through AHS, which was on a Sunday.

I was surprised how fast they responded and they sent a plumber out a couple hours later. The plumber they sent (Mario) was extremely polite and professional and finished the job much quicker than I expected.

What a relief! Hopefully I won't have any more plumbing issues, but if I do, I will definitely call Solid Plumbing! We had a water leak in our front yard. Solid was contracted with our water/sewer insurance and came out immediately.

Thank you very much for your great service today! These guys absolutely live up to their name with solid work! I highly recommend them as I will definitely use them for any future needs. Solid plumbing and drains got contracted by my home warranty (AHS) to provide a water heater repair.

They came on-site for 5 mins based on what I saw on my Ring camera took a quick look at my unit and they determined I needed a new water heater. AHS agreed to the request for a new unit and everything seemed like it was going in a great direction.

However, Solid Plumbing and Drains did not notify AHS that I needed to pay $2,000 on out of pocket cost before they can even go through with the installation of my already approved water heater. It took 3 days to get an official report for the out of pocket cost which were the following- I did not have a expansion tank, I did not have a sediment trap, I had a gate valve and they don't touch those so I needed that replace with a ball valve (I did not have a gate valve), a vent that was crooked and needed to be properly fixed ( I told them I can do that)- those were the 4 items that came out to be $2,000 , that did not include the water heater unit price and did not include the installment.

All I have to say I took a $450 check from AHS and got my unit fix through someone else who doesn't nickel- and Dime people on todays economy Mario Crespo and his crew are legit. Professional, courteous, on time, and get a 5 star response rating.

I have had 6 crews come out in the last year to deal with repeated clogging issues. (In fact one crew from another company just came out last week.) I told my insurance company.

Highly recommend to anybody and always extremely happy with service! I needed a reliable plumber to fix my kitchen faucet and valves. Based on their excellent Yelp ratings, I called up Solid Plumbing & Drains.

This was around 4 PM and was not sure I could get repair service that day. I was pleased when informed, a plumber would be on the way as soon as possible.

Angel looked at the piping system, made suggestions and was given a competitive quote. The repair job was completed before dark.

I also called for additional repair service the following day; Mario and James came over and completed the repair work promptly. Mario and his team are pleasant to work with, they are respectful and professionals.

They did excellent work and I appreciate the service they performed. I highly recommend them.

He arrived quickly, expecting the part to already be on site. It wasn't.

Omed rushes to a few Home Depots. Turns out my 15 yr old faucet's sprayer would have to be a Custom Order or it's New Faucet time.

We've had three different plumbing companies come out and supposedly diagnose and repair the problem but within a week the problem came back, costing me a lot of money and downtime. When Solid Plumbing and Drains came to our business their plumber Mario was more professional than the previous companies, well dressed wearing a mask and covers for his boots, and not smelling like an ashtray like the previous company's technicians.

I chose to have them work on other issues such as my toilet running and leaking in two bathroom..they were very professional and would hire them for other plumbing issues in a heartbeat The ceiling above my kitchen had water stains and paint damage. Turned out there was a small puddle of water around the stop valve near the toilet in the master bath.

I'm a new homeowner and I had never experienced water damage. I found this company on Yelp and called.

The owner, Mario, answered right away and was very patient with me and my naivete. He was not only nice but confident about his knowledge.

He was able to come that same day. So the stop valve was old and needed to be replaced which he did promptly.

He assured me that it was the cause of the leak. He also connected me to a restoration company to fix the damages (Cutting Edge Restoration, Inc) which is another awesome company so far (I'll put a review for that later) Mario was very communicative and I felt confident in his knowledge and work.

In 2019 another sewer blockage discovered. After exposing main sewer line where kitchen, bathrooms and garage join, saw rusted and broken pipes.

No repair possible as main line pipe to street kept crumbling. Needed to replace main line from house out to the street.

Our house is 60 years old and cast iron pipes rusts. We've lived in this neighborhood of Clairemont 50 years and frequently notice neighbors with plumbing problems.

Our daughter will inherit this home in a few years and we don't want this kind of problems for her. Resolved to replace everything under the house.

September 2020 our next door neighbor called Solid Plumbing to clear her main sewer line blockage. Owner Mario Grespo came to inspect the repair and I was impressed by their work.

Invited Mario to talk about our plumbing needs. We showed Mario rusted pipes kept to show neighbors from last year.

Pipes with external and internal rust, some collapsed. Pipes under the house likely no better.

Mario would jack hammer the slab two interior bedrooms and hallway removing all sewer pipes below the slab. The idea was to save the bathrooms.

After removing 4 feet of bedroom drywall saw more problems. Lots of them.

I became concerned about rusty toilet flanges, within the concrete, and rusty venting pipes. Asked Mario to replace both toilet flanges within the concrete.

Both proved to be rusted. With everything exposed, it was time to discuss other concerns.

Replace shower pan I 'repaired' years ago. Replace both sink and bath tub drains with new hardware.

What about new quarter turn shut off valves? Replace PVC with better ABS? Replace all venting. A total makeover.

We talked about my concerns for phase two. Mario didn't take notes.

Discovered he is a great listener after Frank and James completed the work. They fixed everything! I do most of the work around this house, but not this job.

Too big. Frank taught me about plumbing, his background is on the service side.

Do it once, no return calls his philosophy. He taught me PEX pipe is a better alternative.

Our original copper joints had flux left on them which can cause pin holes later. PEX is flexible and no flux needed.

No flux needed so no pin holes. Modern homes use PEX.

PEX is flexible and less likely puncture to a nail or screw. PEX is easier to install so less time.

I want this plumbing repair to last longer than I will. Mario and crew are trustworthy and friendly.

They kept dust to a minimum sealing the rooms affected. They covered all floor areas with card board swept up every night.

These men know their craft and Mario arranges classes on new techniques and materials. Frank and James staggered their work to provide a sink and toilet ever night with plenty of notice about water shut off.

We didn't have to use a hotel! Mario answered calls and texts promptly. Customer satisfaction his priority! I recommend Solid Plumbing & Drains to everybody.

I am 100% pleased with this company! I sent a message cause I had 2 showers that were clogged. Within 5 minutes of sending the message, Mario called me to set up a service appt for the next day.

I called Shawn around 8pm on a weekday due to a leak in my garage coming from our water heater. He was at my house an hour later and installed a new water heater the very next day.

Very quick, efficient and quality service. Highly recommend this business! I contacted the Works Plumbing because I had water dripping into our crawl space and couldn't tell where it was coming from.

Feel the need to update my review from 2017- We had a main line block Sunday evening with a bathroom flooding. It was a mess.

Sean was prompt, efficient and seriously amazing. He climbed our roof & cleared the line in about an hour.

We are so grateful! Seriously, best plumber. Shawn has gotten us out of lots of plumbing debacles, including the time the water heater sprang a leak on the day we put our house up for sale and the time we narrowly avoided an expensive slab leak.

He's responsive, easy to work with, no nonsense, and always a straight shooter. I was nervous to have purchased a sensor faucet to put in the kitchen but to my relief, Shawn was able to install and get it running perfectly-and within an hour! I love my new faucet and appreciate that Shawn knew how to install it without hesitation.

When I'm ready to replace the rest of the faucets in the house, I'll be calling The Works Plumbing for sure!!! Shawn took care a leak same day we called even though it was later in the day and he didn't finish until after 9pm. Was so surprised to have a very bad experience with this company based on the reviews. We unfortunately had our kitchen sink backing up and therefore left us with an inability to use it.

This is definitely problematic when you have a 21 month old toddler and can't easily clean and wash stuff. Sadly, Joe with The Works couldn't have been more rude and lacked any sense of empathy.

I was assigned The Works through my home warranty company on Wednesday, February 17th. Since I did not hear from them, I called on Thursday, February 18th at 1:30 PM and got their voicemail.

I called again on Friday, February 19th at 8:07 AM and got their voicemail. They did call back just after that at 8:28 AM and told me their earliest available was the following Tuesday, 4 days later.

That would make getting service nearly a whole week after the problem. I get another call on Tuesday, February 22nd to confirm my availability and was told about their strict mask guidelines (which I said I was appreciative of).

I made it very clear I would be around by telling them "I will be home the whole day and will be available whenever you are ready." He said they would give us a call about 15 minutes before arriving. The service window was from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

I woke up at 6:00 AM making sure I was ready to go. I ended up getting a call at 8:44 AM this morning but sadly, I had my son with me and was simultaneously helping my neighbor who actually had a much worse plumbing issue (a major pipe burst break in their house).

They needed water and I was bringing it over to them as they had to shut off their water to the house. That means I couldn't answer immediately because I was trying to simply be a good neighbor.

I called back minutes later as soon as I could and again, no one answered the phone. I called yet again at 9:11 AM and no one answered the phone.

Joe finally called back at 10:15 AM telling me they would have to call and reschedule. I asked why would they need to reschedule given we're still within the window they told me they would complete the work? He said, if you don't answer the phone, they don't show.

I told him of the circumstances I had at home and asked why he didn't answer when I nearly immediately called him back. He got rude with me and stated strongly that their policy is they don't show up no matter what if you don't answer the phone.

I asked again why they didn't answer when I called several times to follow-up and again he said strongly he wasn't going to argue with me. The tone of his voice was very rude as well.

I asked him what is the need to call the day before then to confirm if they completely disregard my statement about being home all day? Again, he just firmly stated he wasn't going to argue with me. He in fact stated that I call my home warranty to get someone else.

I did do that taking the chance with another company because this one caused my family and I so much stress. If I didn't confirm the day before and didn't immediately call back, ok I get it.

However, that wasn't the case and Joe showed no compassion at all. Sure, let me just throw my baby down and ignore my neighbors experiencing an emergency so I don't lose my one and only chance to have a plumber show up within the 6 hour time window they provided.

Aren't we all in the middle of a pandemic with enough stress already? Clearly The Works doesn't really care about that. What were they going to do today with their extra time after deciding not to come to my house? Why don't they have someone consistently available to answer their phones? Why do they have to be so rude on the phone? These are all reasons why I would not deal with this company.

I was willing and ready to recommend this company to my neighbors who really need a good plumber but there is no way I would do that to anyone with Joe working for them. The owner seems very responsive on here which is great but I can't see any reasoning behind why a company would conduct business this way.

Including my phone logs so you can see the phone calls. We've loved The Works!! We've hired them (as well as other plumbers that we haven't loved so much) several times and they always do such a great job.

They've been super fast to respond and always really prompt about their arrival times. They've fixed a backed up kitchen sink, a slab leak and an emergency hot water replacement for us, all at a great price and with a quick response! They're number one on our list of fix-it guys! Shawn has been our go to plumber several times over the last few years.

He is one hard working family man. Very professional with a wonderful personality.

I can tell you Shawn is NOT great. We wasted $350 for him to attempt solve a very simple clog in our sewer line.

He tried to con us into a very expensive remedy by adding an unnecessary clean out which we already have (several thousand $). He talks a lot of BS, and is rude if you question him.

I would have to agree with some other posts that his scheduling system is unprofessional, suspicious, and non-compassionate. There are many good, honest plumbers out there.

Then I go the Warrenty site Friday and they have marked it service completed!! WHAT ??? I filed a complaint with the warranty company clearly. You did...

and I didn't delete the voice message. And the part -- it is your voice.

The work order was in your office for 4 days, you marked it complete on your end Thursday. I did call there and leave a message every single day and my call log proves it.

BUT ok your lie is funny to me. The warranty company is refuting the completed service.

Had to wait an entire week before we be could fit into the schedule for an estimate. Office staff was unprofessional.

Finally received an appointment and when their phone call wasn't answered the first time was taken off the schedule. Way too many plumbers in the area, would not deal with this company and their unreliability in the future I had a clogged kitchen sink and I called around this morning for help.

I looked on yelp (naturally) and called this place. I talked to someone right away and they accommodated my busy schedule.

Shawn came and was very thorough and professional. He worked on the issue quickly and I was very happy with the service, professionalism and the price.

I snapped the pipe trying to replace an outside faucet on a Friday afternoon heading into a holiday weekend with three kids under the age of three. (YIKES!) The Works wasn't my first choice, but they sure will be next time.

Shawn was here within a couple hours of my call, quoted me $325 bucks, and came prepared to get the job done. He was a true pro too...

once completed he changed the price to $250 because it went better than he worried it might. He could have easily taken the extra money and I wouldn't have thought twice.

That said, while he may have missed out on an extra few bucks today he earned my repeat business, a glowing review, and referrals for a long time to come. I wholeheartedly endorse the work and professionalism of Shawn and The Works.

I contracted The Works Plumbing on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 due to a water leak. The ceiling of my living room had two very distinct 7 foot by 3 inch of water damage.

I called this company because I rely on Yelp for all my service needs. In the past, whether it's for auto repair, electrician, contractor, whatever, I've always used Yelp.

Prior to this experience, all 9 companies I contracted were great. Unfortunately, my experience with The Works Plumbing was dismal.

It started out just fine. The agent I spoke to asked me what's wrong and I told him the 7 foot by 3 inch water damage in the ceiling.

The agent told me that it'll be $75 to cut the ceiling to figure out what's wrong, and then depending on what the problem is, I'll be quoted again on the cost of repair. That sounded fair to me so I agreed to their service.

John showed up to "fix" the issue. I recognized John right away.

He and Shawn worked on a gas line contract on my house 2 years ago. I remember Shawn being very pleasant and I was very happy with their service.

I even remember giving them a couple beers after they were done with the project 2 years ago as appreciation for their hard work. Anyway, John showed up and after looking at the damage, went straight to the bathroom.

He said that the leak was from the toilet hose. He tightened the hose, and said that the problem should be fixed.

He arrived at 2:00 pm, and he was done at 2:05 pm. The issue was fixed in 5 minutes.

I assumed the cost would be $75. Instead, John said it was $150.

I found that to be a ridiculous invoice. The initial $75 included cutting the ceiling, which is for 2 purposes.

One to diagnose the problem, and two, to make sure that the problem is actually fixed. I had issue with the $150 for numerous reasons.

One, John did not cut the ceiling to make sure the problem was fixed. Second, to bill an additional $75 to tighten one plastic hose that took 10 seconds is ridiculous.

The RIGHT THING to do was to just bill $75 total. My disappointment with The Works Plumbing continued.

I told John if he's going to bill me $150, which I told him I was unhappy about, he should at least cut the ceiling with the water damage to make sure the problem is actually fixed because, to me, the damage to the ceiling seemed more than just the leak from one area from the toilet. The damage was two large straight lines.

I did not see how one lead could cause two parallel lines. It made no sense.

Not to mention, I had already paid for him to cut the ceiling, which he didn't do. I asked John a second time for him to cut the ceiling.

John had the audacity to say, if you want me to cut the ceiling, you have to pay ANOTHER $75!! Flash forward 3 days later. I'm standing in the living room as someone is showering upstairs, and I hear a drip drip drip on the ceiling.

The Works Plumbing did not fix the problem. The Works Plumbing intentionally overbilled me.

The Works Plumbing was sloppy and refused to make sure the problem was fixed. Edit: My response to the business owner's response After the toilet issue, I had them take a look at the garbage disposal.

I chose not to include it in my review because it was too much negativity for the Saturday before Christmas. Anyway, my disposal broke.

I asked them how much it would cost to fix it. They said "$25".

I said fine. They reset it, and tried to spin it with an allen wrench, but nope.

John says that we have to take it apart. I ask how much.

He says "75." I ask how much just to have a new disposal installed because this disposal is old. He says "228".

I told him that I should just have the disposal replaced because I don't want to pay $75 for him to try to fix it, and if it doesn't work, have to pay another $228. He says, no, let's try to fix it.

So, John spends the next 5 minutes trying to fix it, but it's broke, so I tell him that I'd like to just have a new one installed. John installs it, no problem.

He hands me an invoice and it's $378, which is $150 for the toilet leak (which I'm not happy about) and $228 for the new disposal. John tells me it's 10% off if I pay with cash or check.

I live in LA, and came down just for this issue, so I tell him that I don't have cash or check on me, and told him that I'll mail a check. He said no, payment has to be made right now.

So I tell him that we can go to Chase and get cash for him. John says, "that works" because he wanted to grab a bite anyway.

I go to Chase and withdrew $340.20 ($378 x 10% off) and hands it to him. He said no.

He says $378 is what I have to pay in cash. I said, what about 10%? He tells me that I'm getting a break because I didn't have to pay him $303 for trying to fix it and then installing.

I'm not happy because I feel like he's trying to price gouge me again. I asked to talk to his supervisor.

He says he is the supervisor. I head to the ATM to withdraw another $38, while thinking whether I should contact the Owner.

John says $340 is fine, and I paid him. Fantastic customer service, came after hours to fix a plumbing leak- the total was less than the estimate, the plumber was extremely polite, professional and patient with my questions and they did a wonderful job of social distancing in my home during Covid.

I highly recommend this company. On Friday night we realized we had a leak that was going into the garage from our downstairs bathroom.

Shawn came out quickly on Saturday morning and did great with social distancing. He let us know somebody had put something on incorrectly and was able to clear up our leak quick and easy.

Great service, fair pricing, and sound advice on how to prevent the situation from happening again. I highly recommend! These guys are great! The several times i've needed their help, it has always been a great experience - professional at every phase and all around professional work.

Had a bad stem behind the faucet handle in the shower. Couldn't get it out so Shawn had to cut through dry wall in order to replace the valve and re solder a new one.

After that the he noticed a leak in the fitting behind the shower head. He then cut new dry wall location to replaced the shower head valve and fitting.

Shawn performed a great job and the new valves and fittings look great. Bye Bye leaks.

Very clean job. We called our home warranty and was referred to this plumber to come out to look at our shower drain that was poorly draining.

A man called my husband, told him if he was available the next morning between 7am-1pm. With such short notice, my husband asked him if he could come to our home around 8am since he has meetings late morning.

They said no, they can show up anytime within that time frame. Understandable.

So then my husband asked about other availability, and they said there wasn't any. NOT understandable.

My husband said he was very unprofessional and off-putting. The feel of the conversation was that they just didn't want to come out (likely because we are in OC, and this business is based in Oceanside).

But that's not our problem. Even if they did have availability that conversation left a really bad taste in my husbands mouth, and wouldn't want them to come to our home even if they made time for us.

The man on the phone said he would cancel the work order with the home warranty. Funny, because the moment they hung up, my husband received a confirmation that the appt was confirmed.

(No they didn't show up, nor would we allow them in if they did). What a joke.

Shawn came out within and hour. He was quick, solved the problem, and professional.

Would recommend and plan on using this company is the future. We had a plumbing emergency, our (only) toilet was leaking and Shawn was able to come out within 30 minutes! He did a great job, explained everything, was done in about 30 minutes and had reasonable pricing.

I called in the morning with a plumbing issue I've had before under my kitchen sink. The Plumbing Works technician was at my door in less than 2 hours.

It was determined that our faucet was in need of replacing and the sink had to be re-sealed. Because there was no labor done at this time they did not charge me.

Needless to say I was in shock. This is very rare in today's world.

I can't say enough great things about our experience. Will have them back out, and do not hesitate to call them for your plumbing needs.

All my experiences with the works plumbing have been excellent! Shawn is the best plumber ever! I was in a bind when I broke a pipe right at the slab but it was no problem for the skilled plumber!! He was able to remove damaged section and install new section. Saved me huge $$$$$ by not having to re run water line.

I sent a message asking this company to let me know if they have this type of equipment, and how much it would cost for a leak assessment. They responded to my message within 30 minutes, but they didn't say anything other than to call them.

When I called the number as they requested, some guy wasted my time by persistently asking me questions instead of just answering my very specific question (about whether not they have thermal imaging cameras). Long story short, in case someone else wants to avoid wasting their time inquiring...
