Review and analyze now for company The Works Plumbing and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''Had a leaking sprinkler pipe in my front yard on a Saturday. This was the only company that came through.
Were right up front regarding the cost and came on time. Jay knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend this company. Once again, huge shoutout to this business for their quick response, hard work and fair pricing.
I HIGHLY recommend them. Very impressed with the response and service of this company.
Had two drains backed up and was worried being close to Christmas and my limited schedule I would be out of luck. However Shawn was headed over to my home within a half hour of my call and problems were solved! Shawn was terrific and I highly recommend The Works Plumbing.
Made a lot of noise but didn't do anything for the $200. Still had the problem after he left.
I have used Shawn on several projects, including my parents' house. He went there multiple times to help elderly folks out, never overcharging and always giving good advice.
I trust him with my parents and trust him with everything else. Thanks buddy for all the good service over the years! Being that this is a holiday, I ran into many plumbing companies that said they would call back and they didn't.
I called this company and the gentleman that asked was professional, friendly and just awesome!! His name is Shawn and he showed up in less than 20-30 from the time I called. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this plumbing company.
You will not be disappointed. Thank you The Works Plumbing and Shawn.
I called Shawn around 8pm on a weekday due to a leak in my garage coming from our water heater. He was at my house an hour later and installed a new water heater the very next day.
Very quick, efficient and quality service. Highly recommend this business! I contacted the Works Plumbing because I had water dripping into our crawl space and couldn't tell where it was coming from.
They sent their on-call plumber, Shawn, within a few hours and Shawn was able to tell me exactly where the water was coming from (the fridge) and gave me advice on how to dry out the crawl space. Really friendly and smart guy and I'll be saving their phone number for anytime I need a plumber.
I'd recommend giving them a call if you need a plumber We had a plumbing emergency tonight (Sunday) and were calling multiple companies to see if anyone was available. I left a message and Shawn called me back quickly and was able to come out within the hour to help us out.
He was knowledgeable and professional and worked quickly to get the job done even though it was at night on the roof! Thank you so much, you're a lifesaver!! I called about an upstairs leak, The Works Plumber was at my door within the hour, located & corrected the problem as neatly and quickly as possible! The technician Shawn was knowledgeable, communicated clearly, and completed the job very well. I am super grateful for his expertise and timely correction of my leak! Shawn came out and looked at my Slab leak issue and determined a pathway to reroute my pipes to fix the issue.
He gave me a very competitive quote for the job that was less than the big name companies that tried to overcharge me and suggest I update other plumbing that was unnecessary. Shawn was a straight shooter and I hired him for the job.
He came out and arrived right when he said he would and worked on my job and got everything working. He even helped me replace a broken toilet shutoff valve.
I would definitely use The Works Plumbing again in the future. Glad to have found and honest hard working plumber in our area.
Feel the need to update my review from 2017- We had a main line block Sunday evening with a bathroom flooding. It was a mess.
Sean was prompt, efficient and seriously amazing. He climbed our roof & cleared the line in about an hour.
We are so grateful! Seriously, best plumber. Shawn has gotten us out of lots of plumbing debacles, including the time the water heater sprang a leak on the day we put our house up for sale and the time we narrowly avoided an expensive slab leak.
He's responsive, easy to work with, no nonsense, and always a straight shooter. I was nervous to have purchased a sensor faucet to put in the kitchen but to my relief, Shawn was able to install and get it running perfectly-and within an hour! I love my new faucet and appreciate that Shawn knew how to install it without hesitation.
When I'm ready to replace the rest of the faucets in the house, I'll be calling The Works Plumbing for sure!!! Shawn took care a leak same day we called even though it was later in the day and he didn't finish until after 9pm. Then, returns for allay fears about drops that could be heard the next day at no extra charge.
Keep him in business! Shawn replaced leaking water heater quickly and efficiently ! He came the very next morning and removed the old and installed the new fixture . On several occasions I have relied on the Works to perform plumbing jobs on my townhouse .
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!.... Shawn is one of the best plumbers in North County.
Hes a great guy and I like that the owner is also the operator of the business. You get good service and hes a friendly guy as well.
I would definitely recommend. I moved my washer and dryer from the garage to a small interior space inside my house.
Shawn worked in tight quarters undoing my contractors mess, buying parts. We did an EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL job.
Cleaned up the job site after he finished. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! To Future Customers: Read the Owner's response and decide for yourself.
Does his response show any compassion? I think not. He clearly either did not read the situation or more likely, doesn't care.
Up to you if you want to deal with an owner like that. Again, he expected me to drop my baby and leave my neighbors in a horrible emergency.
I called back within 5 minutes. Give me a break.
Edit 2: Given my above comment, the owner removed their response. I think that verifies the kind of people you're going to deal with at this company.
Was so surprised to have a very bad experience with this company based on the reviews. We unfortunately had our kitchen sink backing up and therefore left us with an inability to use it.
This is definitely problematic when you have a 21 month old toddler and can't easily clean and wash stuff. Sadly, Joe with The Works couldn't have been more rude and lacked any sense of empathy.
I was assigned The Works through my home warranty company on Wednesday, February 17th. Since I did not hear from them, I called on Thursday, February 18th at 1:30 PM and got their voicemail.
I called again on Friday, February 19th at 8:07 AM and got their voicemail. They did call back just after that at 8:28 AM and told me their earliest available was the following Tuesday, 4 days later.
That would make getting service nearly a whole week after the problem. I get another call on Tuesday, February 22nd to confirm my availability and was told about their strict mask guidelines (which I said I was appreciative of).
I made it very clear I would be around by telling them "I will be home the whole day and will be available whenever you are ready." He said they would give us a call about 15 minutes before arriving. The service window was from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
I woke up at 6:00 AM making sure I was ready to go. I ended up getting a call at 8:44 AM this morning but sadly, I had my son with me and was simultaneously helping my neighbor who actually had a much worse plumbing issue (a major pipe burst break in their house).
They needed water and I was bringing it over to them as they had to shut off their water to the house. That means I couldn't answer immediately because I was trying to simply be a good neighbor.
I called back minutes later as soon as I could and again, no one answered the phone. I called yet again at 9:11 AM and no one answered the phone.
Joe finally called back at 10:15 AM telling me they would have to call and reschedule. I asked why would they need to reschedule given we're still within the window they told me they would complete the work? He said, if you don't answer the phone, they don't show.
I told him of the circumstances I had at home and asked why he didn't answer when I nearly immediately called him back. He got rude with me and stated strongly that their policy is they don't show up no matter what if you don't answer the phone.
I asked again why they didn't answer when I called several times to follow-up and again he said strongly he wasn't going to argue with me. The tone of his voice was very rude as well.
I asked him what is the need to call the day before then to confirm if they completely disregard my statement about being home all day? Again, he just firmly stated he wasn't going to argue with me. He in fact stated that I call my home warranty to get someone else.
I did do that taking the chance with another company because this one caused my family and I so much stress. If I didn't confirm the day before and didn't immediately call back, ok I get it.
However, that wasn't the case and Joe showed no compassion at all. Sure, let me just throw my baby down and ignore my neighbors experiencing an emergency so I don't lose my one and only chance to have a plumber show up within the 6 hour time window they provided.
Aren't we all in the middle of a pandemic with enough stress already? Clearly The Works doesn't really care about that. What were they going to do today with their extra time after deciding not to come to my house? Why don't they have someone consistently available to answer their phones? Why do they have to be so rude on the phone? These are all reasons why I would not deal with this company.
I was willing and ready to recommend this company to my neighbors who really need a good plumber but there is no way I would do that to anyone with Joe working for them. The owner seems very responsive on here which is great but I can't see any reasoning behind why a company would conduct business this way.
Including my phone logs so you can see the phone calls. We've loved The Works!! We've hired them (as well as other plumbers that we haven't loved so much) several times and they always do such a great job.
They've been super fast to respond and always really prompt about their arrival times. They've fixed a backed up kitchen sink, a slab leak and an emergency hot water replacement for us, all at a great price and with a quick response! They're number one on our list of fix-it guys! Shawn has been our go to plumber several times over the last few years.
He is one hard working family man. Very professional with a wonderful personality.
I wouldn't use anyone else. I had to update my review because we needed to call Shawn once again.
We run a small AirBnB out of a garage studio and we had a backup in the little bathroom. It was vacant so it wasn't an emergency but Shawn was nearby and he came within 30 minutes of me calling! And he got the job done within 10 minutes! I appreciated that he was clean and thorough.
He also was masked up and - like always - was a pleasure to work with. I will definitely keep Shawn's number handy for all our plumbing jobs! Im glad to support local small business! We had an emergency situation with blocked lines in our house.
Shawn got there in about 1 hour and was fantastic. Had the issue resolved in about 20 minutes.
He was very professional. Highly recommend.
I couldn't be happier with our experience with The Works plumbing. I called to get a garbage disposal replaced and a faucet swapped and they luckily had availability that same afternoon.
Shawn showed up on time and completed the work quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend and will use them again for future plumbing needs.
I had what I believed to be a simple repair, a small leak on an outside spigot. It is copper piping that is why I could not fix it.
I called The Works. They contacted me immediately, set up an appointment for the next morning.
As promised they called 30 minutes before arriving. The showed up.
Explained that it could be an easy fix or more complicated if they encountered problems. Gave me a best case scenario for the bid.
They proceeded to start the repair. They were able to fix it using tools I did not have nor did I have knowledge of using.
When they left I had a working spigot with no mess. I have no issue recommending them to anyone for their plumbing needs.
I found them to be fair and honest. I can't ask for more.
I am so grateful for The Works Plumbing. We had a plumbing emergency that started at 7:30pm and we were in a situation where we had to shut off all the water to the house.
Shawn arrived within 30 minutes and was courteous, friendly and very helpful. He quickly assessed the problem, gave us repair options, was super honest and didn't gouge us.
I will definitely be calling him again in the future. I requested an estimate, giving my phone number and asked for a call.
They twice responded a day late, but only through Yelp. They don't read and their lazy.
Shawn was great. I called him out to diagnose a problem that a few others couldn't figure out.
Shawn talked me through the process of various options and explained clearly what the price would be for each and the risks associated with them. Luckily- he realized we should check one last thing which turned out to be the simple fix that others overlooked.
I would highly recommend this company- friendly, professional and reasonable. He was also punctual and local in Oceanside.
We had an excellent experience with this company and would recommend to friends and family. I wanted to share with a review because we felt our tech Shawn went above and beyond to help us out with our kitchen clog emergency.
He scheduled and drove out to HB within 24 hours, was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable, even took additional steps to make sure we were confident our pipes and appliances were working properly, gave us great recommendations and fully disinfected the area before departing. Thank you for all your hard work! Shawn called 20 min before arriving and was awesome about wearing a mask and distancing.
Fixed our water leak and also cut a hole for me to change the tub faucet later. Very honest and would definitely use him again! I would not recommend this business....
I can tell you Shawn is NOT great. We wasted $350 for him to attempt solve a very simple clog in our sewer line.
He tried to con us into a very expensive remedy by adding an unnecessary clean out which we already have (several thousand $). He talks a lot of BS, and is rude if you question him.
I would have to agree with some other posts that his scheduling system is unprofessional, suspicious, and non-compassionate. There are many good, honest plumbers out there.
I recommend the "The Drain Works", Kevin, 760-473-4201. Kevin is the bomb...Thank you, Kevin.
Shawn was professional, thorough, and explained everything in detail before starting work on our pipe leak. He gave me time frame when to expect his arrival and even called 15 minutes prior to coming.
He wore his mask and followed social distancing guidelines. Excellent service! Great experience and would definitely refer this business to family and friends.
Toilet flooded in the middle of the night from the base. Shawn came out ON TIME, provided an inspection and guidance on next steps.
Cost of service was very fair. I will have then back to do the required work.
Had a home warranty request that was sent to them. They called me 1x and left a message that said please call here to make an apt before 9 am because we are in the field after that.
I then called every single day for a week and begged on the message system to please schedule the apt any time any day home every single day!!! No call, no apt, no show!! Then I go the Warrenty site Friday and they have marked it service completed!! WHAT ??? I filed a complaint with the warranty company clearly. You did...
and I didn't delete the voice message. And the part -- it is your voice.
The work order was in your office for 4 days, you marked it complete on your end Thursday. I did call there and leave a message every single day and my call log proves it.
BUT ok your lie is funny to me. The warranty company is refuting the completed service.
Had to wait an entire week before we be could fit into the schedule for an estimate. Office staff was unprofessional.
Finally received an appointment and when their phone call wasn't answered the first time was taken off the schedule. Way too many plumbers in the area, would not deal with this company and their unreliability in the future I had a clogged kitchen sink and I called around this morning for help.
I looked on yelp (naturally) and called this place. I talked to someone right away and they accommodated my busy schedule.
Shawn came and was very thorough and professional. He worked on the issue quickly and I was very happy with the service, professionalism and the price.
If any issues arises again- I would certainly call them first! Thank you, Shawn! I snapped the pipe trying to replace an outside faucet on a Friday afternoon heading into a holiday weekend with three kids under the age of three. (YIKES!) The Works wasn't my first choice, but they sure will be next time.
Shawn was here within a couple hours of my call, quoted me $325 bucks, and came prepared to get the job done. He was a true pro too...
once completed he changed the price to $250 because it went better than he worried it might. He could have easily taken the extra money and I wouldn't have thought twice.
That said, while he may have missed out on an extra few bucks today he earned my repeat business, a glowing review, and referrals for a long time to come. I wholeheartedly endorse the work and professionalism of Shawn and The Works.
Boom. Fantastic job by Shawn.
I use Yelp often to help guide who I hire for work around the house. I followed a lot of the historical reviews and I am pleased to say that they were accurate, five stars.
I asked for a fair quote on a preventative maintenance job around my new home. He was clear and accurate with his description of the work scope.
He gave me a price and that was it. No surprises, no stress.
Great communication up front, which gave me confidence going through with his work. Thank you Shawn, the house is looking good.
I contracted The Works Plumbing on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 due to a water leak. The ceiling of my living room had two very distinct 7 foot by 3 inch of water damage.
I called this company because I rely on Yelp for all my service needs. In the past, whether it's for auto repair, electrician, contractor, whatever, I've always used Yelp.
Prior to this experience, all 9 companies I contracted were great. Unfortunately, my experience with The Works Plumbing was dismal.
It started out just fine. The agent I spoke to asked me what's wrong and I told him the 7 foot by 3 inch water damage in the ceiling.
The agent told me that it'll be $75 to cut the ceiling to figure out what's wrong, and then depending on what the problem is, I'll be quoted again on the cost of repair. That sounded fair to me so I agreed to their service.
John showed up to "fix" the issue. I recognized John right away.
He and Shawn worked on a gas line contract on my house 2 years ago. I remember Shawn being very pleasant and I was very happy with their service.
I even remember giving them a couple beers after they were done with the project 2 years ago as appreciation for their hard work. Anyway, John showed up and after looking at the damage, went straight to the bathroom.
He said that the leak was from the toilet hose. He tightened the hose, and said that the problem should be fixed.
He arrived at 2:00 pm, and he was done at 2:05 pm. The issue was fixed in 5 minutes.
I assumed the cost would be $75. Instead, John said it was $150.
I found that to be a ridiculous invoice. The initial $75 included cutting the ceiling, which is for 2 purposes.
One to diagnose the problem, and two, to make sure that the problem is actually fixed. I had issue with the $150 for numerous reasons.
One, John did not cut the ceiling to make sure the problem was fixed. Second, to bill an additional $75 to tighten one plastic hose that took 10 seconds is ridiculous.
The RIGHT THING to do was to just bill $75 total. My disappointment with The Works Plumbing continued.
I told John if he's going to bill me $150, which I told him I was unhappy about, he should at least cut the ceiling with the water damage to make sure the problem is actually fixed because, to me, the damage to the ceiling seemed more than just the leak from one area from the toilet. The damage was two large straight lines.
I did not see how one lead could cause two parallel lines. It made no sense.
Not to mention, I had already paid for him to cut the ceiling, which he didn't do. I asked John a second time for him to cut the ceiling.
John had the audacity to say, if you want me to cut the ceiling, you have to pay ANOTHER $75!! Flash forward 3 days later. I'm standing in the living room as someone is showering upstairs, and I hear a drip drip drip on the ceiling.
The Works Plumbing did not fix the problem. The Works Plumbing intentionally overbilled me.
The Works Plumbing was sloppy and refused to make sure the problem was fixed. Edit: My response to the business owner's response After the toilet issue, I had them take a look at the garbage disposal.
I chose not to include it in my review because it was too much negativity for the Saturday before Christmas. Anyway, my disposal broke.
I asked them how much it would cost to fix it. They said "$25".
I said fine. They reset it, and tried to spin it with an allen wrench, but nope.
John says that we have to take it apart. I ask how much.
He says "75." I ask how much just to have a new disposal installed because this disposal is old. He says "228".
I told him that I should just have the disposal replaced because I don't want to pay $75 for him to try to fix it, and if it doesn't work, have to pay another $228. He says, no, let's try to fix it.
So, John spends the next 5 minutes trying to fix it, but it's broke, so I tell him that I'd like to just have a new one installed. John installs it, no problem.
He hands me an invoice and it's $378, which is $150 for the toilet leak (which I'm not happy about) and $228 for the new disposal. John tells me it's 10% off if I pay with cash or check.
I live in LA, and came down just for this issue, so I tell him that I don't have cash or check on me, and told him that I'll mail a check. He said no, payment has to be made right now.
So I tell him that we can go to Chase and get cash for him. John says, "that works" because he wanted to grab a bite anyway.
I go to Chase and withdrew $340.20 ($378 x 10% off) and hands it to him. He said no.
He says $378 is what I have to pay in cash. I said, what about 10%? He tells me that I'm getting a break because I didn't have to pay him $303 for trying to fix it and then installing.
I'm not happy because I feel like he's trying to price gouge me again. I asked to talk to his supervisor.
He says he is the supervisor. I head to the ATM to withdraw another $38, while thinking whether I should contact the Owner.
John says $340 is fine, and I paid him. Fantastic customer service, came after hours to fix a plumbing leak- the total was less than the estimate, the plumber was extremely polite, professional and patient with my questions and they did a wonderful job of social distancing in my home during Covid.
I highly recommend this company. On Friday night we realized we had a leak that was going into the garage from our downstairs bathroom.
Shawn came out quickly on Saturday morning and did great with social distancing. He let us know somebody had put something on incorrectly and was able to clear up our leak quick and easy.
Great service, fair pricing, and sound advice on how to prevent the situation from happening again. I highly recommend! These guys are great! The several times i've needed their help, it has always been a great experience - professional at every phase and all around professional work.
Had a bad stem behind the faucet handle in the shower. Couldn't get it out so Shawn had to cut through dry wall in order to replace the valve and re solder a new one.
After that the he noticed a leak in the fitting behind the shower head. He then cut new dry wall location to replaced the shower head valve and fitting.
Shawn performed a great job and the new valves and fittings look great. Bye Bye leaks.
Very clean job. We called our home warranty and was referred to this plumber to come out to look at our shower drain that was poorly draining.
A man called my husband, told him if he was available the next morning between 7am-1pm. With such short notice, my husband asked him if he could come to our home around 8am since he has meetings late morning.
They said no, they can show up anytime within that time frame. Understandable.
So then my husband asked about other availability, and they said there wasn't any. NOT understandable.
My husband said he was very unprofessional and off-putting. The feel of the conversation was that they just didn't want to come out (likely because we are in OC, and this business is based in Oceanside).
But that's not our problem. Even if they did have availability that conversation left a really bad taste in my husbands mouth, and wouldn't want them to come to our home even if they made time for us.
The man on the phone said he would cancel the work order with the home warranty. Funny, because the moment they hung up, my husband received a confirmation that the appt was confirmed.
(No they didn't show up, nor would we allow them in if they did). What a joke.
Shawn came out within and hour. He was quick, solved the problem, and professional.
Would recommend and plan on using this company is the future. We had a plumbing emergency, our (only) toilet was leaking and Shawn was able to come out within 30 minutes! He did a great job, explained everything, was done in about 30 minutes and had reasonable pricing.
Thank you so much Shawn, you got a new customer for life! Great service!!! I was in dire need of plumbing services. After calling a prior agency and getting nowhere I found The Works Plumbing.
I called around 930 am and was delighted to know that by 10 am I had someone at my house. Shawn provided a great service.
He was attentive and knowledgeable and super professional on his work. I'm super pleased with the results.
After looking in Yelp! to find a plumber on a Saturday (something very hard to do) I saw the reviews on "The Works Plumbing," and thought they had very good reviews, so I sent them a message to try and set up a time and they quickly responded to me and I was able to get someone scheduled to come out the very same day - Shawn was my technician and he was very nice and courteous and got the job that I needed done, he fixed my issue and was great, he cleaned up the area and made sure everything was working - I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs and I highly recommend them to those looking for plumbing job. (2) thumbs up! 5 stars for 5 reasons 1) they showed in 30 minutes 2) Shawn was a pro!Sharp & great customer service 3) he solved the problem very quickly 4) explained what was going on 5) gave preventive suggestions Shawn was the star of the show for sure, thank you! They were absolutely amazing! I'm a Realtor and I called them for a plumbing inspection.
They showed up on time, were great with all the Covid safety stuff. But Boy, did they go above and beyond what I expected.
I wanted the main line scoped and had questions on some things that showed up in the property inspection. They were incredibly thorough and spend a few hours going throughout the house.
They gave the buyer totally honest advice as well as catching things the home inspector didn't catch. Shawn really knew his stuff and my buyer was very pleased.
I highly recommend them and I'll be calling them for future plumbing inspections. Shawn showed up immediately after I scheduled the appointment.
Informed me of their social distancing protocol and did an awesome job. Super friendly and professional.
Thanks Shawn much appreciated!! Will definitely refer to friends, family in the future. Had a great experience with the works plumbing.
My plumber showed up on time, was super quick, and the prices were very affordable. We needed a new hose bib in the backyard.
It was leaking when turned on. I called The Works Plumbing and they were at my house the next morning.
Shawn, the technician, called 15 minutes before he arrived and fixed the problem quickly. He was super professional.
I would highly recommend this company. Was very professional and communicative.
Let us know what was going on and what he was doing as he went along. Original Problem got fixed and then some.
Will always let you know that the issue is and how much it'll cost. Overall, fast, efficient, and friendly service.
If you are looking for an honest, fair, reliable and quality plumbing company then you've found that with The Works Plumbing! We use Shawn and his company for all of our residential and commercial plumbing needs. He's taken care of us so many times and it's always fast and high quality! He will only charge you what he needs to and will always tell you how to save a buck if you want to do something yourself.
It's hard to find businesses that you can trust and with this one, you can! Thank you Shawn, for all that you've done and will continue to do for us! You rock! Great Customer Service and old school business ethics. This is an example of how to run a successful operation.
I called in the morning with a plumbing issue I've had before under my kitchen sink. The Plumbing Works technician was at my door in less than 2 hours.
It was determined that our faucet was in need of replacing and the sink had to be re-sealed. Because there was no labor done at this time they did not charge me.
Needless to say I was in shock. This is very rare in today's world.
I can't say enough great things about our experience. Will have them back out, and do not hesitate to call them for your plumbing needs.
10 stars! Greg Phillips Shawn at the Works plumbing is my go to plumber! He just recently fixed a leaky pipe by my water meter. I've called on him for a few years now and he has always been prompt, honest, professional and makes sure to get the job done correctly.
All my experiences with the works plumbing have been excellent! Shawn is the best plumber ever! I was in a bind when I broke a pipe right at the slab but it was no problem for the skilled plumber!! He was able to remove damaged section and install new section. Saved me huge $$$$$ by not having to re run water line.
Shawn was extremely courteous and knowledge and his professionalism is second to none. I was extremely happy and satisfied with the service but wait! There's more! Two days later I received a call from Shawn asking if everything was satisfactory and if I would him to come over and check on the status of the repair as a courtesy.
He came over within 30 min, inspected the repair and gave me the OK! Shawn, at the Works Plumbing will be my first call for every plumbing need!! Thank you! Shawn was fast, responsive and solved our emergency plumbing problen just before Thanksgiving. He had to climb the roof to snake out a huge clog.
Impressive service and easy going. Highly recommend!!! Quick and efficient service! I had a clogged kitchen sink after regular business hours.
Shawn answered my telephone call fast. He offered to come out that evening or first thing in AM- it was my choice.
He calls when he's in route so you don't have to wonder about arrival time. He was prompt, efficient and friendly.
Thanks Shawn! We discovered we had a hot water slab leak on Labor Day, a holiday, and our normal plumber was not available. Not wanting to leave it we decided to turn to Yelp.
We read the reviews and decided to give these guys a call. They were professional and timely.
We've had to have them come out three times in the past 3 days and they've come at the designated time each time which in the industry has been a rarity in my experience. Shawn and his team were friendly with my family and pets and kept everything extremely tidy.
He communicated time frames and costs and stuck to the times and prices quotes. I would recommend their services to anyone in the area.
We called at 7:00 on a Sunday (tonight). They were done by 8:20.
Sean came out to help us. He was polite, professional, and got the job done at a reasonable price.
Thank you! My family got home from vacation to a plumbing disaster.. found the works plumbing on yelp and decided to give him a call..
I called Shawn at noon on a Sunday and he arrived by 1:30! Not only was he fast and good at his job, he was also friendly and very reasonably priced.. Will be saving his number to use in the future! Great company, honest people.
The owner is a 100% honest person. Called a few other companies and got the run around.
The people I talked with were very nice, they were straight forward with pricing and offered several solutions. I decided to go with them to fix the problem.
Guys showed up on time, clean, professional, and great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.
Such a great service. Shawn was out and done literally in about an hour.
We run an Airbnb and weren't in town had guests checking in same day and needed someone out fast. I'm amazed how quick and responsive Shawn was and they were able to fix the issue before our guests arrived same day.
This is a great plumbing company. I use them every time I have a problem.
They have been reliable, sincere, and great with pricing. Great experience with this company.
Had a leak in a pipe. Came out on the same day we called in the time frame they provided.
Did the work quickly and charged a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again for our plumbing jobs.
I was over trying to fix my toilet myself and they had someone out in less than an hour when I called at 6am! I was also expecting to leave a message but someone answered the phone immediately. About 3 days later, I received a phone call to make sure everything was still working well.
Great company and I hope I never need work again but if I do I will call them! Knowledgeable staff, professional and punctual. Good rates and excellent quality workmanship.
Highly recommended! We had a fast leak coming from the valve for the source for our refrigerator. I called up the Works Plumbing on a Saturday afternoon.
They came out in 30 minutes and fixed the issue with a new valve (the old one was busted) in just 20 minutes. Wow! Super fast service and we couldn't be happier! Thanks, guys! Updated 4/6/16 for recent service call.
Called up Shawn from The Works Plumbing for a pretty simple faucet fix. It was a small job, but Shawn scheduled it in right away for the next day with the same enthusiasm as if it was a large, more profitable job.
As always, Shawn was on-time and provided the most friendly, efficient, and honest service that one could hope for. Do yourself a favor - save your yourself the headache of rolling the dice with your plumbing needs - just call up The Works Plumbing and try them out - I highly doubt you will be disappointed in any way.
Once again, the team with "The Works" makes my day. Having hired Shawn in the past for two emergency repairs, I thought it would be great to have him finish up a project in our bathroom.
I simply called and scheduled it a few days in advance to give me time to pull the old stuff out and let a pro like Shawn do the heavy lifting. I'm 100% confident in doing most household repairs, but plumbing...well lets just say I'd rather not chance it.
It was just a breath of fresh air to come home after a long day and come to find out Shawn not only completed the original service, but my wife surprised me with having Shawn put all the replacement hardware back together too. Happy Fathers day she said! Folks...If you're considering getting any plumbing services, give "The Works Plumbing" a shot.
You will not be disappointed. Thanks Shawn, you made my day --Again! We have had trouble getting any plumber to even show up and was stood up by Roto Rooter two days in a row.
Should have checked Yelp first. Shawn came when he said he would and took a step by step approach to fixing the problem.
Will not hesitate to call again in the future I suspect that I have a leak from one (or more) of the irrigation pipes in my backyard. I'm seeking a company that has a thermal imaging camera and other specialized equipment to help me determine the location of the leak(s).
I sent a message asking this company to let me know if they have this type of equipment, and how much it would cost for a leak assessment. They responded to my message within 30 minutes, but they didn't say anything other than to call them.
When I called the number as they requested, some guy wasted my time by persistently asking me questions instead of just answering my very specific question (about whether not they have thermal imaging cameras). Long story short, in case someone else wants to avoid wasting their time inquiring...
they don't have thermal imaging cameras or other specialized equipment to help determine the location of irrigation leaks. Once again Shawn pulled it off.
I love this company. Fast efficient and quality work can't beak the price and awesome customer service.
They asked for $75 for a guy to come to give a quote/bid. Ridiculous! Never had any plumber or skilled trades person ask to get paid for a bid.
BEWARE!!!! Shawn came by today as scheduled. Less than 24 hours after I messaged about a job on Yelp.
Shawn was efficient, courteous and an ease to work with. Shawn repaired two sink supply lines and reinstalled a faucet in our master bathroom.
I recommend his work and Service with a Smile is always bonus. I highly recommend this company.
They said they would be at my house at 9am and showed up at 8:50. On a Sunday! They were quick and knowledgeable.
Even gave my some great preventative advice on keeping my plumbing system flowing properly. I will definitely be calling these guys if we ever need a plumber again.
Shawn, is the absolute best! He has been my go-to-guy for plumbing for several years and now I know why. I had a tenant whose toilet was overflowing and I was unavailable to check out the situation.
My sister called Shawn for me. Shawn came right out.
Apparently, there was a minor issue with the hose in the tank. Shawn had it fixed by the time I was able to make it there and didn't charge me a dime! He is the most trustworthy, honest, and reliable plumber out there.
He has worked on both plumbing and heating issues for me and has always done a top-notch job! I highly recommend Shawn, and the guys who work with and for him. The Works plumbing is five stars all the way!!! These guys are awesome! I called The Works Plumbing after I discovered a leak coming from upstairs down into my family room.
They offered to send someone out right away, but I decided that fixing the leak could wait until the next day. They gave me a call to let me know they were coming and showed up at my door in 15 minutes.
John and Jay took the time to cover my furniture and even placed booties on their boots before walking on my carpet. They were able to find the leak without causing a lot of damage to the ceiling and were able to fix the leaking pipe in less then an hour.
John and Jay were courteous, friendly and knew exactly what they were doing! The even took the time to say hello to my 2 year old son and shake his hand which made his day! I would recommend the guys to anyone and I know who I'm going to call if I need something done again! If you want fast professional service done right, call these guys!'''.
