But thanks to being vigilant, Nathan quickly discovered a second leak around the base of the toilet. Both leaks required the removal of drywall and parts of the ceiling in the downstairs kitchen.
Once this was done, it became very apparent that the leak around the toilet had resulted in mold. Nathan and team quickly sealed off the bathroom and kitchen and brought in blowers and dehumidifiers.
All along, Nathan kept me updated on next steps. I highly recommend Dry Out Medics should you ever need to hire a water damage restoration firm.
Only give second star because handsome men but very bad boss and very bad people speak to me and ruin the floor they created my worsed nightmare but it was not a dream also secondly my personal item was totally disgusted covered from mold in the wall it make everything like crazy Dry out medics was sent my property as a referral from a plumber who came. They tried to convince us to submit an insurance claim for some work they said we needed, but wanted us to commit insurance fraud so the insurance would cover their services.
Not being willing to commit fraud, I got another opinion. The other licensed contractor said I needed a mop, a fan and a gallon of bleach.
He provided examples of why and how the other claims were wrong. The second opinion saved me spending thousands of dollars on something that I was able to take care of in 2 hours and $15.
I dodged a bullet and hope you will too. Don't let them convince you to submit a claim that will make your insurance go up or get cancelled unless you get another opinion and fully understand your options and what is needed.
For example, the man with the moisture meter said I had to replace my tile floor to avoid dry rot but the house is on a slab. He said the drywall was saturated, but the walls are plaster and the mdf baseboards were not swollen or discolored.
Do not trust him or his meter. Can't say enough good things about this business and particularly in working with Nathan! We were in a very bad spot after some water damage and he helped us every step of the way to take care of the issue and actually help us come out on the other side better than before.

Dry out medics is our hero. Last month our bathroom flooded and it affected all the areas of the house closed to the bathroom.
It was a very stressful day. Our plumber contacted Dry out medics to check out our house and they arrived within 30 minutes.
Ariaz came to see how bad the problem was and he assured me that they will take care of it. Ariaz took away my anxiety by explaining it to me the process on how they will fix the water damage.
Since then, Dry out medics has been coming to our house every other day to check out the moisture level our bathroom. Jeremy and Andrew were the main guys who check in and update us on what is the status.

Dry Out Medics was referred to my and Ariaz arrive at my home the same day that the call was made. He not only helped me understand the process in a very professional way, he also made the call with me to my home insurance to file a claim and stayed on the phone call with me during the entire process.

Nia kept me informed along the way of the estimated times that they would be at my home. I am very grateful to all the staff at Dry Out Medics; great work! One night we were tending to regular activities when we noticed water running down a wall behind near our dishwasher.
This prompted some investigation which led to use discovering the water had leaked considerably under the floor. I reached out to Dry Out Medics and spoke with Amin, who came out the next morning to inspect and assess the level of damage.
Amin was thorough and walked us through what was going on and gave us a rough estimate of damages. It was then that we realized this was going to be quite an expensive fix, but Amin actually informed us not to worry, and that people have home insurance to protect themselves from these types of circumstances, and that they usually may be help cover costs.
Amin and his team came out the following day to begin containment of all damaged areas. Later that day they returned to remove flooring and cabinets of the remaining affected areas.
They informed us that we actually lucked out we were able to discover the issue when we did, because damages could've been significantly worse had things begun molding. Amin was able to make sure the repairs were covered under our home insurance, and kinda handled the entire interaction with them on their own, while communicating with us at every step.
It made the experience seamless and stress-free, which I'm extremely grateful for. The entirety of the drying process took roughly 4 to 5 days.
They placed dehumidifiers and dryers in affected areas, and some sort of air purifier to keep the breathing air clean. They had a general contractor come out and replace all parts of affected areas, everything looked great in the end as they were able to match it to our existing aesthetic.

They were friendly, professional, and prompt with their timing and displayed a great sense of urgency, which is immensely appreciated--especially in a situation like this where waiting can literally exacerbate problems.

I called a friend of mine who works in construction to ask for insight and he gave me the dry-out medics number and just said "trust me give them a call and they'll take care of everything" I was confused but i trusted him and I called them. Amin came out, assessed all the damages, said he was going to get everything restored and it wouldnt cost me a thing because hell work with my home insurance to get everything covered.
I didn't even know that was a thing! Well, it is. They came through, my house was put back together like brand new and didn't pay a dime.
These guys are rockstars, cannot thank them enough! Can't thank the dry-out medics enough. Our entire hallway bathroom ceiling directly below our upstairs neighbors had a huge bubble that burst.
John came out and helped pin-point the issue and did all the talking with our neighbor and our insurances and facilitated the restoration of both units! We were super impressed! What we thought was going to be a nightmare when we saw our ceiling sinking turned out to be a pleasurable experience. We gave them a call and John was at our house within 30 minutes.
Did a free assessment, helped us file a claim, then had his team out the next day and pinpointed the issue. It was coming from the upstairs bathroom, so they opened the ceiling and bathroom and dried it out.
They referred us a great general contractor and we got everything back to normal including a bathroom remodel. Would definitely use them again! I'm going to keep it simple.
They came thru for me. My place sprung a leak and plumber fixed it.

The thing that I appreciated most was that working with them did not feel how it does when you work with a typical large corporation, They were actually personable and had compassion and felt like you were talking to somebody who cared.
They took care of all the work that needed to be done in my home but that wasn't the biggest thing. Unknown to me, my insurance company is notoriously difficult to work with and this company went out of their way to not only inform me of this but to connect me with someone who could help me get the insurance company to approve the damage.
At the end of the day not having to pay out of pocket for all that happened was where the real value was and I could not have done it without them. I appreciate their great work ethic and would highly recommend them to anyone looking.
Just wanted to leave a review because the dry-out medics literally came to our rescue! We saw water coming up through our laminate flooring in the kitchen and got really nervous because we know how costly a remodel can be, but we also knew we had to get it taken care of because our elderly parents live with us and didn't want to risk the chance of mold growing. A friend referred John to us and thank god he did because he helped us with the whole process from the beginning to the end.
We had no idea that water damage was covered through our insurance and only found out because John ask to see our policy and explained our coverages. He helped us call and file the claim, which was a relief because dealing with insurance is a personal nightmare.
They were timely and did all the work they promised they would and sent all the documentation that insurance required of us. It was stressful because we didn't know if the claim would be approved, but John held our hand through it all, helped get the claim approved and we got a full kitchen remodel all for the price of our deductible!!!
