Overall quite pleased. Cost was more than anticipated for what was, in my mind, a simple job, but service was great and it did not take much time at all.
Raul was very helpful and knowledgeable with my bathroom project. He had to change the pipes and installed a new vanity.
We ran into some issues where the drawer wasn't fitting properly due to the pipes but he was able to quickly resolve the problem by modifying the drawers. He took a lot of time to be thorough and he also corrected our water lines as a courtesy even though we didn't know there was an issue.

Our water heater installed in 1998 26 years ago started leaking and Raul gave me a great estimate and said he could start it at noon the next day if I'd pay for and arrange to ship the old one today. This was no easy task since it was mounted up 6 feet high off the slab and getting them swapped was a major effort.
The drain valve was blocked so we couldn't drain it till that was fixed with a coat hangar wire, and the cold input valve was frozen open then later it leaked a lot till and needed a gasket reseat. It was very hot that day too Raul was very communicative, professional and prompt.

As a first time home owner, I needed to install a water line to my new fridge. I also wanted to replace my bathroom faucet and drain with a set I had purchased online.

I was initially quoted $350 flat fee for addressing a water leak over the phone, then the fee was increased to $475 when plumber look at the leak. The final amount was again increased to $600.
They also drained the sewage from the back instead of from the front clean up access which was unnecessary as the back access was much further. Jerry (boss) and Raul were not flexible on the final fee and would not leave the property until $600 was paid.
This tells me that either they don't know what they are doing and don't how to properly quote a fee or they are purposely misleading the customers by initially promising low flat fee over the phone and then increase it. Additionally, Raul yelled at my a tenant.
She had to go over to the neighbors as she did not feel safe. Raul did apologize later.
My experience was unfortunately unpleasant as the fee almost doubled from the initial quote and my female tenant did not feel safe around plumber. I do not recommend their service based on my experience.
IMPORTANT UPDATE!!! Text messages attached 1-5. After the review, Raul Godinez reached out and said he could care less about the review, then proceeded to return to the property unannounced which scared my tenant who told him to leave.
After that he threatened to put my property on so called "plumber radar" so that other plumbers would not do any work at property. Mr.
Godinez also accused my tenant of doing drugs without any evidence and even joke about how he charged me $600. This behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable.

R & J Plumbing did a great job! We had a single bowl vanity that we were upgrading to a double vanity on the wall adjacent. We had to close off the water lines that went to the bathroom on the other side and move the drain to another vent pipe.
They had to reroute the water lines through the studs too. Doesn't seem like an easy job and we were expecting it to cost us a lot more.
Thankfully Raul quoted us INCREDIBLY competitive pricing that we couldn't decline. He was able to schedule the work to be done within less than a week and was a fraction of the price.

After chatting with other plumbers, most of them wouldn't give me a quote but instead wanted to set up a consultation. Raul was even willing to look at a picture of my problem and give me a firm quote that was reasonable.
