Second review! Chris has provided service for me three times at different houses. Recently I had a minor issue that I called about.

I wasn't sure if I need a professional or not. He talked me through it and told me where I could find a hard to locate part.

I selected Romo Rooter because he was local and not associated with a major chain. Chris is, in fact, an independent operator.

He was very responsive and was on time arriving later the morning that I called. He had to clear a tree root clog in the main sewer line near the street from a cleanout in the side yard.

I was completely satisfied with his service - he explained what he was doing and why, and was very diligent in making sure the line was fully cleared before leaving the job. I do recommend Chris at Romo without any reservations.

What can I say but once again he goes over and beyond what you call him for. His just a laid back Honest professional guy who I have known n grown comfortable with from the first time we met in 2014.

Excellent service is what Chris Perri provides. I called Chris up for a quote on running a camera into the sewer, as recommended by a representative from the city, to see what was causing our backup flow.

I followed the camera recommendation, but Chris advised me to rooter (?) instead to find the root (haha) of our problem because it would be a more cheaper alternative. He was very patient and thorough with explaining the process to make sure my mother and I were well-informed.

He showed up right at 10:00. Asked some questions and determined the backup was in the main water line, not the sink plumbing.

The snake couldn't push the backup so he water jetted it. The drain is clear now -- yay! He suggested that once or twice a month fill the main sink (not the disposal sink side), half-way with warm water and two scoops of OxyClean.

This should keep the drains clean and running quickly. Also, never use those drain cleaners -- that you're wasting your money and over time they corrode the pipes.

Tell him I sent you for city employee discount you will be satisfied!!!! This guy was one of the most professional, and friendliest guys I've seen. My landlord brought him by the house to unclog our drain, and to put a camera into the pipe to find the point of destruction in the old, old pipes.

Well, he was able to get rid of the clog, but when it came time for the camera, he told my landlord he didn't have it as it was in the shop. He was knowledgeable, and I felt that we wouldn't need his services for awhile.

Chris didn't disappoint as he came as he said he would today, a Sat shortly after the 1 PM time. He was a little confused at why there was a write up so after some investigation, he explained what must be what the gas co was looking for.

So though nothing physically was changed except putting back the original hose and adapter to fit the 1/2" pipe as it should, he only charged me for an hour's time although when it was all said and done including taking time to educate me about different things around the house and even advising about getting a filter to ensure a long life for my newly installed tankless water heater which he happened to notice, a $2400 job no less, he didn't leave until 4 PM, or 3 hours later! Chris is definitely the honest, down to earth, local plumber that I was looking for and definitely won't nickel and dime for his time to explain, the way it should be.

The pipe, on a hillside was scoped with a camera revealing the severity of the 90 year old cast iron pipes. A replacement was needed.

I tried to unclog the sewer mainline by myself which ended up with snake stuck inside the piping. Advantage Plumbing took care of the incident and provided the thorough investigation with camera and checking under the crawl space.

I contacted Steve at Advanced Plumbing and he was able to come over within the next few hours. He had his helper dig up the dirt around my water meter and he was able to replace the connection with a new coupling.

I was very happy that he solved my water loss problem. And his cost was very reasonable.
