The Property Manager called LA Hydro Jet for an appointment. They gave a specific time frame of arrival.
Michael stayed in touch on when the tech would be arriving. Cypress arrived at the specified time.
He was very professional, pleasant, & responsive. I was so relieved when the problem was taken care of.
Cypress knew exactly how to handle the problem. He handled it very calmly & professionally.
All in all, a great experience with LA Hydro Jet. The peace of mind after a plumbing repair is completed professionally is priceless.
After 22 years of annual preventive maintenance rooter service I've had enough. Someone must have taken over this company years back as they spiraled from stellar service in 2001 straight down into the sewer.
A 4 hour window is asking a lot from a customer, but when they call 20 minutes before the window closes and add another 3 hours -- it's beyond rude, it's shoddy and displays a lack of customer care. My loyalty to them makes me the fool I guess.

Even though that happens to the best.After being asked on several occasions to stop using profanity on a LARGE scale in front of at least 7 children playing he raised voice to emphasize his foul mouth. Unnecessary.
F BOMBS ARE NOT PART OF PROFFESION. I have used them for years as they are familiar with this building and often have to unclog sinks and toilets due to the age of the building and the quality of the pipes.
Just recently they came the same day I called to unclog a toilet in Pacific Palisades. Guy was prompt and did an excellent job ($105 bucks which I thought was reasonable for 30min work).
So I would recommend them to people for these kind of jobs especially if you live in an apartment / condo. A few days ago, I spoke with Ranelle at M.P.
& Rooter, explaining that a subsurface patio drain was plugged or "crushed" beneath the house pad foundation. Had one estimate of $6 to $8,000.
So I called them to get another estimate. She recommended I first check LA Hydro-Jet & Rooter, explaining that they had some equipment that might be needed and she trusted them, had used them herself and maybe they could save me $$$$.
LA Hydro sent Cesar to check on the problem. He was very knowledgable and said before he got or used high pressure water, let him work on the problem.
He fixed the problem in about an hour. The drain was not "crushed" beneath the foundation.
He managed to remove the stoppage (another company wasn't) and the total charges were about $300!!!! LA Hydro-Jet does superb work. Thank you Cesar!!! Dennis Sherman Oaks.
We have been using LA Hydrojet for 20 years. Same house, same cleanout.
Called yesterday and got a quote for the work. Technician showed up today and said all the sudden this is a 2 man job, he would have to call for backup and the price was double.
I called and they said it because we have steps in the backyard. We have two 6" steps , three feet apart when you come thought the gate.
Second man showed up (supervisor) and confirmed this is a new company policy. They would do me a "favor" and do it for the price this time but not moving forward.
The do good work but they have lost me as a customer. Thank u Travis for your service mate!! When I got home from work my sink was full and water was everywhere! I was confused and called my landlord Mr.Kim from Mariposa.
He called LA HYDRO - JET and they sent us Travis! Cool guy and knows the job! Now I have to clean my floors Hydro-jetting of my plumbing system. Gilbert was the technician was personable and explained everything to me.
Also had the best positive attitude. Very happy with the job done.

I actually switched from our old plumber to LA Hydrojet. So far, all the work being done in our apartment was copacetic with a fair price.
I friend who lives in a gated community needed some inspection work prior to selling their home. They need some plumbing sewer inspection work.
Was originally quoted under 400$ then got another quote for $1200$ in a matter of hours, after seeing that the house was in a rich area. I would imagine because it's a gated community, house being sold and part of inspection.
So because I was very disappointed, I phoned the office to ask why the high charge...response, prices increase. In a few hours? So I guess, this is the end of our relationship and I will NEVER recommend this company EVER.
Sad, because I originally trusted them. I've been doing business with LA hydro jet for over 20 years.
Up until a couple years ago they were great. The issue I've recently had have been with their internal office.
Either they are not communicating the job properly or the plumber didn't understand or was totally lazy. I guess he didn't notice the camera system I have on-site that showed he did nt do the job that was requested.
It took weeks of arguing with the staff that the correct job was not done even after sending video. My final straw with them is that they are loosing my checks for payment and refusing to take responsibility.
This hasn't happened once it's happened numerous times. I only find out when I call for service and they refuse and say I have an outstanding bill.
Even after explaining I've been doing business with them for over 20 years the staff can't take responsibility and it's obvious my business is not valued, I'm done. They've lost my business and my families business.
If I could give no stars, I would! Worse service I have ever experienced with this kind of service. Their plumbing guy broke something under my sink, claimed to have fixed it, yet I had black slush spewing from my kitchen sink this morning (while no one was using it)! The first scheduled appt made with them, their plumbers came out (supposedly), but didn't call me or anything, & just left bc they couldn't get in.
They could have easily called my call box unit # to access entrance. Second scheduled appt with them, they supposedly came by again, & claimed they called me (but I did not get a missed call).
Third scheduled appt with them & I get a call at 9pm from their dispatcher saying, the plumber is here, but there's no parking. So, I had to go downstairs and assist them in finding somewhere to park.
The plumber came in & attempted to fix the issue... but now my plumbing is all messed up (see pics).
Never use this company! Go elsewhere. Trust me!! LA Hydrojet came out the very same morning, within an hour of my phone call.
They were able to help us sort out our sanitary sewer backing up into our tub. They scoped the lines and snaked the plumbing quickly and efficiently.
They cleared a 50% blockage of our main sewer line made up of roots and removed a fist sized hair ball from our branch line. We are so thankful to John and Howard who were consummate professionals.
They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. We would 100% recommend them and wouldn't think twice to hire them again.
LAHJ came to hydrojet a sewer line. Said the line was broken and needed replacement.
Gave me an outrageous estimate and said the permit would be difficult to pull, that it could take weeks, etc. I called another sewer contractor, a real professional.
He said the line had probably been cracked by the hydrojet device! He pulled a permit in 24 hours and offered to do the job for one third of the price... They gave me a work window of 1:30- 5:30p.
When no one had arrived by 5:30, I put in a call. They told me not to expect someone until 8:00-8:30.
No one had called to tell me to expect a delay. Plumber arrived at 8:13p.
He was courteous and efficient . I took time off work (waited most of the day) and had to work a 15 hour shift the next day to make up for their no call-no show.
Although, they did fix my pipes when they finally showed up. L.A.
Hydro-Jet came to my condo to clear the drain of my washing machine. The drain was so clogged that the water was backflowing onto my laundry room floor.
The gentleman that answered the phone and set the appointment was very pleasant and the tech who serviced my condo was also very personable. The tech did a great job of unclogging the drain.
He was professional and efficient and solved the problem right away. When the job was completed, he cleaned the area meticulously.
I wouldn't hesitate to call this company for future drain issues. Eduardo came to my home to clear an outside drain that was packed with dirt and roots.
He was polite and did the job! Afterwards he cleaned the driveway and street gutter of the mud that came out. :D Santiago and Andy took care of a plumbing issue for us and were all about getting it done right.

Hydrojet my main line out to city sewer. Another company wanted to add a new clean-out so they could snake it and wanted 4 x the amount Hydrojet charged me.
Iha e used them for about 15 years and from the last time they cleared my line was in 2018! It lasted a long time! Yes I recommend them! Had a technician come to my house for a stoppage. He showed up 2-3 hours late which was annoying but the service was amazing he was super helpful.
Angel was super insightful with the problem he guided me through the whole process and it made up for him being late I will only request him. Amazing technician give him a raise!! We feared our sump pump was clogged up and we called LA Hydro jet.
They came when promised and looked at the problem. Their conclusion was that there was no clog but that the pump had lost electrical power.
Their approach was logical and they tried to figure out what had gone wrong. They pointed out many possible problems with the pump and said it would be best if we called the contractor who installed it.
These guys were honorable and hard working. I'd use them again in a second! Thanks LA Hydrojet! One more time, EDDIE, the laziest worst guy ever, shows up and refuses to do the job and leaves me with a non draining shower.
I hate my landlord for keep sending me the worst company ever. This is the 2nd time this dude does it! I hate him, he is the worst.
Adding Donald to this list! He came the day after and had another million excuses, he wouldn't listen or talk to me, he totally ignored me when I tried to talk to him. Spent the whole time on the phone with either a supervisor or a friend, he was 3 hours late.
Mine was a job another plumber (from a different company) walked off of yesterday after being seemingly confused. Juan Carlos Sanchez was prompt, he and his gear looked nice, clean.
He quickly diagnosed the problem, cleared out my brackish sink and replaced a broken part that caused my dishwasher to flood the counters. He explained everything, cleaned up the kitchen area nicely and earned a tip from me.
Very satisfied. Technician was contacted for a fix before 10am.
Nearly 11 hours later they have not arrived. Called the home office five times throughout the course of the day to find out when they were coming, and each time I was told "within the hour." Lies.
And rude, unhelpful customer service that does not take accountability for the company's disappointing performance. Avoid.
Richard Martinez was extremely quick, professional, kind, and efficient! Our kitchen sink in our apartment building started backing up water/wouldn't drain. It was fairly late on a Sunday evening.
Luckily, Richard showed up fast and fixed it! We were so grateful to him & his service! Do not do business with this company. Customer service is horrible.
They came out, quoted the job, did some work but were unsuccessful. Promissed to email me the results and that someone would follow up with me about additional repairs.
Never received the email and no one ever followed up. Then, 30 days later received a statement indicating payment was past due despite having remitted a check to the technician on site.
Called and was told they have a photo of the check but don't know why payment hasn't been posted. Ended up placing a stop payment on the check only to be told they would only accept payment by credit card.
Asked to speak to a manager but was not put through to a manager. Will be mailing them a check and hoping for the best.
But quality of work, follow up and overall customer service is extremely lacking. Cannot recommend this company.
I rarely write reviews. However, if I could give six stars to LA Hydrojet, and in particular Angel, the technician who saved us, I would! Our bathroom double sinks both clogged and after three hours of me attempting to snake them, and another thirty minutes of a local handyman's attempt, I called LA Hydrojet.
Living in Oak Park (Ventura County), I figured it might be a hardhsip for them to make the trek from Sun Valley. I was very surprised when they gave me an appointment for that same day! We received a tracking link and a text when Angel was en route.
He arrived within one hour of the time the appointment was made. Angel was the consummate professional and very friendly.
He even covered his work shoes with booties before entering the house. I have never in my life had such a pleasant experience with any plumbing service.
I am happy to report the sinks are working fine. LA Hydro-Jet (and Angel) will be our go-to for any and all future plumbing issues.
Thank you! Clarence saved us big time this morning! We had a very slow draining bathtub upstairs that I assumed needed to be snaked. I decided enough was enough and today was a good day to address the issue.
A job I assumed would be a quick, and easy fix led to the discovery of a much larger issue when the snaking occurred and water began to pour out into our kitchen down below. This is a moment when one could panic, or simply stay calm, turn on the jazz music and stand there taking video as water pours into your kitchen and just find gratitude in being a renter vs a home owner.
Called our property management office and they authorized the very obvious additional work that needed to take place. Clarence handled everything in such a timely and profesh manner, drilling out a patch of dry wall to access the pipes in the ceiling and complete the repair.
We moved some things around in the kitchen and he had the entire job down in a couple of hours, even helped clean a bunch of stuff up. So professional and kind.
All the while I was able to remain working throughout the duration of his visit, as he went up and down the stairs working on the plumbing issue from our upstairs bathroom and into an area of our kitchen below. I'd highly recommend him.
Absolute fantastic service, and in the unusual time we are in when having someone in your home can be highly uncomfortable with practicing social distancing and not being around others outside of your household- we were both masked the entire time and I felt 100% comfy. If you have any bathroom/plumbing needs I'd have full trust that Clarence would be a really great option for superb service to get you up and running quickly.

Our apartment manager hired this company to come and do pumbling on our neighbor next door . My boyfriend called me extremely upset about a pumbler named DESMUND .
Apparently Desmund came and knocked really hard at our door and demanded to be let in our bathroom. His words were " where is your bathroom at "...Mind you , He didn't introduced himself , tell my boyfriend what was going on and why he needed to come in our apt , nothing .
He simply kept demanding rudely without an explanation to be let in . He threatened my boyfriend that he was going to shut down the water regardless and that he " didn't give a fuck " .
He ended up leaving saying that he didn't care if my boyfriend made a complaint on him because he "was still going to get paid anyways ". (I talked to the neighbor who he actually serviced and she was very upset as well saying he came in her house with a really bad behavior , left her bathroom a complete mess and that she even wanted to cry of how dirty he left it .

Our upstairs neighbor had them come out and unclog our drain and subsequently shove whatever whatever was in their drain down to us causing black gunk to start coming up from our sink and bathtub.
THE SAME DAY we reach out to our landlord to have someone come look and the plumber said he made a MISTAKE earlier in the morning at our neighbors causing the backup at our apartment. Our landlord charged us $90 for this MISTAKE the LA HYDRO plumber made.
Meaning they not only charged our neighbors but got charged us too!!! DO NOT USE! They are very professional and know their stuff. We have used them several times to rooter drain pipes that have been clogged with tree roots.
Angel has been out twice and always gets the job done. Have used them in the past when we lived in a Westwood condo (jetting service) and now as a homeowner in Woodland Hills for jetting our drains Recently needed rooter service.
Appointment is easy to make, they text when tech is on the way Today, Angel G provided excellent customer service, and after fixing the issue, explained what he did while providing valuable alternatives to ensure the problem doesn't happen again Definitely a recommendation! I manage an apartment building and have used LA Hydrojet for both jetting our pipes and for plumbing issues. We have been completely satisfied with their work.
They are punctual, polite, and knowledgeable. LA Hydrojet is definitely a go to for our company.
I was out of town so I called them to come they service the same day and fix a drainage problem that I have but we had a problem with the toilet they change a small plastic parts and charge over $50 for it The problem did not stop I called after 3 days and they send the same guy over saying that there is no problem! Water was filled every few minutes so he said he fixed it. The next day problem continues and they come again and want to charge additional$150 just to change the system they already fixed!!! They took advantage of my wife Being home and just charged her! Sadly we have cash so I can't even dispute the charge.
Be aware!!! Joshua serviced some of our building's units and was very helpful and courteous. I hope they send him again when we need plumbing services in the future.
I trust his judgment and expertise. Let me just say that Gilbert Telles was a God-send.
