One person from this company came to change a sprinkler valve( that was wrongly placed before by them and leaking ) and when removing the valve the PVC line broke . Not only that they are trying to charge now 650$ for the PVC valve replacement that was totally fine before they came but he also left and leave the water running..
I was visiting my parents today and they informed me they were waiting for a plumber that was scheduled 1-5, it was 6 when he finally showed up. Maybe the guy was having a bad day, busy day I don't know!!! BUT that doesn't mean his communication skills or customer service should be horrible! He didn't identify himself to me and assumed I should know what's going on, who he is, and just let him in as if this was his house! He got the job done but maybe a little training on basic customer service 101 would do him good.
Really thankful for the professionalism and quick work by this company! They were able to come out on short notice and the guys who came out were able to instantly spot an issue (caused by a previous company that just did repairs a few weeks ago.) They suggested what to do with the repair on that and cleared the clog they were called in for in a quick efficient manner, took photo documentation and cleaned up any mess that was made by clearing the clog! Solid company! If you want a huge, toxic to your health mess, choose Royale Plumbing! We had no choice because we rent, other than the choice to rent of course :) yes they are great at getting plumbers there quick. It's what they leave in their wake that is the problem.
These people are so unprofessional. Yes they are nice and respectful, they tell you what you want to hear.
But they take zero care and don't give a flying you know what about your personal belongings and the fact that you have to live there after they depart. On a couple occasions they came to just unclog our kitchen drain due to sharing plumbing and snaked the sink - they always leave a spatter of pipe grime and who knows what else all over the place! I get they aren't cleaners but at minimum clean up after yourself.
On to the major repair. Because they took the lazy route the first time, with no permit, when jackhammering in the ground to replace a drainage pipe, they only replaced part of said pipe, we then had to deal with these people a second time.
They did a second major replacement of a drainage pipe, again without a permit, said they would "fully tarp" (tarp was thinner than a garbage bag) everything because we told them our concern about previous repairs. We came home after the week of repair to concrete and other construction dust all over our personal belongings, walls, cabinets, concrete chunks on our kitchen floor and in our bedroom.
Dust all over our couches and pictures to show it all. Their general manager Monique is nice over the phone but completely incompetent in her managing capabilities - assured us they would take great care.
They didn't tarp and seal off the access areas as they promised us via email. Instead left it open and jackhammered without a care in the world.
When confronted, we got a "our sincerest apologies" LOL they also tried to blame it on other vendors - uh the people putting the carpet back in the bedroom would have no reason to partially remove tarps in our living room, nor does putting carpet back in a bedroom get LAYERS of toxic dust on everything in the living room. Nice try or actually, pitiful attempt to redirect blame.
These people also used our bathroom despite our explicit request not to. There is an open unit right above us they were too lazy to use.
We sealed the toilet before we left and they didn't even attempt to hide their use of it, leaving the tape up and toilet paper visibly smaller and ripped - we folded it particularly prior to leaving. Nothing like 4+ random strangers using your personal bathroom! We spent 7 hours cleaning to get to a point where we felt somewhat comfortable to stop and go to sleep.
More cleaning to be done, fun times! So if you want to waste your time with lowest bidder services or like us you simply have no choice when you rent, give them a call! A Christmas Eve rescue! Our old WeHo house has a sense of humor. With twenty guests coming for dinner the next day.
The toilet and sink decided to back up. We called Royal and were dealt with in a calm and caring way.
Pricing was reasonable and the gentleman who came, Louis, was thorough, knowledgeable and cheerful. Mission accomplished - Christmas saved.
The woman who is working customer service on Friday Jan 17, 202 @10am is incredible- she's rude, she began raising her voice-twice and without need, customers ask questions as doing business with your boss' company is basically an investment.- even after asked her to take it down a notch, she continued stating that perhaps we are not the best fit.. what, what does that even mean! The most ridiculous portion was that she began diagnosing our issues over the phone without knowing what issues nor brand of equipment we use.
and with a very short attitude! Absolutely not the best representation for a small business.... If this was my employee I would fire her but since she's yours I hope you at least retrain her.
This is an update from my previous post regarding my terrible experience with Royale Plumbing. Today a certified Rinnai plumber came over and the problem was fixed literally within 60 seconds of him looking at the unit.
It didn't take new parts or special diagnosing equipment... nor did it require replacing the entire unit! Instead, he had integrity for his work and cared that the problem be resolved quickly and efficiently.
What Royale Plumbing does is the exact opposite... they did NOT appropriately diagnose the extremely simple problem and instead tried to upsell me into $2000 worth of work! Royale Plumbing is unbelievably unprofessional and it was not only frustrating working with this business, it was totally upsetting and pointless.
I had Royale install a new toilet + tank in my apartment. It is a tight space with the bathtub about 12" from the toilet.
After the plumber left, I noticed a small dent in the bathtub glaze, maybe caused by a metal tool hitting it. It seems like an easy fix but I don't have the experience to fix it myself.
So I sent Royale a photo and they replied: "we don't do any patching work and are not held responsible for any damage done". Really? If you make the damage - that makes you responsible! Regardless of their official position, I felt like I wasn't asking for a lot.
Due to their disappointing customer service, I will not use their services again. I called Royale Plumbing when our dishwasher wasn't completely draining after a cycle.
Tanya was able to schedule an appointment quickly and handled all the paperwork directly with our landlord. Luis arrived on time, quickly found the problem (a clogged drain hose) and fixed it.
In a perfect world, everything would go this smoothly! Thanks Royale. These guys were great.

Leon was an absolute lifesaver. We had a horrific plumbing accident occur in the condo above ours which resulted in ours flooding.
Happened the day before I left the country for a month. Leon came to the rescue.
Handled all the repairs to our place, dealt with the owners above us, kept my family out of harms way, and is just an all around great human. Ill go back to Leon and his team for any and all plumbing related issues.

Highly recommend their services. Good, reliable, honest plumbers are hard to come by and these guys are it!! Great experience! They showed up when I was away and took care of the problem.I also have a pet at home that was fine and seemed unbothered by the service taking place.
They post billed me very easily and even did a follow up call to see how it all went. I will be back.
Royale rocks! Monique took such good care of us, getting a plumber out to our house the same day we called. She followed up with a fairly priced quote and the job was complete on the following day.

I had a very negative experience with one of your YELP Deals on August 30th. The deal was with Royale Plumbing in West Hollywood, CA.
We paid $55 for $69 deal. We were told that it would be $69 to open a clogged sink and We had a clogged kitchen sink.
The company sent a very inexperienced technician who tried to fix the problem for about an hour but was unsuccessful. He made a mess all over our kitchen and he had no rags, cleaning supplies or even a bucket to use to clean up.
He made then made a phone call and then was told there was another point he could access the drain from outside the house so he tried to snake from that access and was still unsuccessful. He then called his boss who showed up about a half hour later.
The boss also tried to snake the drain. After he too was unsuccessful, he hold us he needed a different type of snake and he would send another crew the next day because he didn't have the right tool with him.
We had guests at the time and could not use our kitchen at all. And we asked him to finish the work that day and to bring the other snake the same day.
He said, "maybe" and if not it would be the first job in the AM at 8am. He further stated that if we needed the job done right away, we should call another plumber.
He then left, and we called the main office of Royale Plumbing. We spoke owners daughter, Monique, and were then told we would have to add an additional $45 for the first visit because it took longer than they thought it would take.
Then, she went on to say that in order for them to come back the next day with the right tool it would cost $130 additional. She also then told us that they would not be able to come at 8am as previously promised but instead at noon.
When she told us that we would have to pay a total of $115 for a job that was not even done, and another $130 for bringing the right tool, we declined and decided to go with another company that opened the drain for $79. Therefore, the point is that if Royale had the right tool from the beginning the job could have been done.
Instead, they gave us the run around and wanted to charge us more because of their own incompetence. To top it all off, Monique has called us repeatedly saying we owe them an additional $46 and that they will send us to collections if we do not pay within 7 days.
At first I thought it might be love... then I entered a nightmare.
The good: We needed an emergency removal and install of a water heater done within 2 days as we were having a washer and dryer delivered at our music studio and office space. I called Monique and told her the situation.
I explained that if they did not have the time we would have gone with someone else (maybe we should have gone with someone else). She scheduled us for an estimate the next day at 11.
I explained to Monique that it was VERY important to come to the back (where the water heater was to be installed) and call us if we didn't answer as the office I work at is extremely busy and currently laden with contractors so we wanted to be absolute sure that we would hear them. Monique seemed to understand and the appointment was then set.
Now, onto the bad: They explained that the Yelp deal (this was from a promotion back in September) was only valid 24 hrs after purchase so I'd have to call back if I wanted to use that a day later... Did I mention I didn't have much time to begin with? Yeah..
so that didn't help unfortunately. How convenient for them.
The initial estimator either never came or went to the front door... this part is not completely certain.
By a stroke of magic we were able to get the estimator back to the office however later to get the estimate... which was 300-500 less than the actual final invoice...
which is another story entirely. We approved the job without getting a written estimate per my boss's request.
This seemed to be common practice for them. Shame on me for that one.
Payment options were not also discussed- double shame. So the contractors were there for the job and got started.
Fantastic minus a few minor hiccups. However what happened next was disgusting.
As the plumbers were almost done I got a call from Monique to go outside with a check for 300-500 more than what was discussed verbally. She refused to provide us with an invoice and as I told her that the business was going to be providing her with a check but we needed to clear it through our accountant she became abrasive and started threatening to rip out equipment.
She also REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH ANY SORT OF PHYSICAL COPY OF AN INVOICE, NOR AN EMAIL OR FAXED COPY BEFORE DEMANDING PAYMENT. I called our accountant to inform them that the plumbers needed to be paid, and that it was pending their approval for the amount.
I then received 5+ phone calls of insanity and demands for the plumbers to get paid. WITHIN MINUTES APART FROM EACHOTHER.
I explained that it was being worked on and, as I said, the original estimate was several hundred dollars different than what ended up being billed so it needed to be cleared by someone before it was taken care of per my boss. At the end of the day everyone was paid, no equipment was ripped out (which wouldn't have been fun for either party had that been the case) and I learned that no matter how nice someone seems on the phone or how fast they can promise in turnaround to beware.
Sometimes you really do get what you pay for. And, in instances like my experience with them, I would never ever ever want to hand them money nor advise anyone else to ever ever again.
Response to owner comment- The invoice was not emailed until AFTER payment was rendered and several phone calls harrassing my employer and myself to remit payment or equipment would be ripped out. I understand that the company needed to get paid and had zero problem doing so but a few things: 1)when an estimator comes out and gives an estimate that is several hundred dollars more than what was initially stated, regardless of the time frame, you should never expect the customer to be happy right away nor expect a check run out the door immediately just because you ask for it WITHOUT an invoice.
2)Calling SEVERAL TIMES BACK TO BACK WITHIN MINUTES DEMANDING PAYMENT is not good business practice, regardless if my company worked with you once or five times. 3)If something is requested COD, SAY IT/PROVIDE IT IN WRITING WHEN YOU GIVE THE ESTIMATE.
As you knew you were servicing a business rather than just a home property assuming COD, especially when NOT GIVEN AN INVOICE is ridiculous as it's common for businesses to get invoiced and then remit payment later. I would like to thank you for your quick response (although accusatory).
I do want to say that I am thankful for our experience with you and the fact that it got done promptly was great. However the customer service and quality of your staff as a whole made your promptness with getting it done all null and void.
I'd rather do business with companies that value their customers enough to pay attention to directions (again, we nearly didn't even have your work done since your estimator didn't follow the directions on where to come to the site which was a HUGE red flag right off bat) & don't resort to threatening tactics in order to get everything taken care of. This place is rude and overpriced.
Had a plumber come in to fix a leaky faucet at the price of $150. First off, it is a rip-off but it was an emergency and a weekend.
In addition I asked them to install a faucet which they charged an extra $50, when I gave them all the parts. After they were done, they charged an additional $40 because of a faulty supply line without telling us about it.
You've got to at least tell us you're installing an extra part and for what price. (Btw, the supply line was worth around $5...) Tried to reason with a lady named MONIQUE on the phone because of the price, and she was so RUDE.
She pretty much yelled at us on the phone when my roommate was being polite. Note: she's also commenting on all the negative comments on yelp.
don't be deceived by her reasoning in typed words.. Honestly, if she was just polite with a price adjustment, I would have given them a good rating...too bad.
Update to response: false, the supply line price was not quoted. and bad rating was given because of attitude.

Royale Plumbing charged me for the service call to look at my leaking kitchen sink spray hose. They told me they did not have the part and would have to order it.
I would have a quote for the replacement the next day. In the meantime they shut off the water to avoid continued leaking.
I called every day (for 8 days) asking about the part living without the sink water turned on. On the 8th day they told me they found the part but was back ordered and couldn't have it for 30 days.
I instead turned to root-rooter who can out in 1 hour, had the hose on their truck and was much much less expensive. This is the only time I have ever given a bad review.
Please beware as this was an expensive an timely inconvenience. I question their work ethics and honesty and feel completely taken.
The service is the best! They are efficient and I love a company that will explain in "girl" without making me feel like it is beneath them. I also like a company that will give me a price upfront - seriously - if you've been doing something long enough, you should be able to give me an idea of what kind of pricing i am facing - even if you estimate high then surprise me with charging me less than you estimated - i will be your customer for life.
Came to work, Monday morning to find our water shut off. Turns out one of the other businesses in our building had some plumbing done by these clowns and they had shut off our water at some point and failed to turn it back on.
Our neighbor said he would call Royale and have them come back and deal with it - so fine. Four hours later, the plumbers show up.
I was busy with a client and waved them on through - thinking they were gonna look for the valve and get our water back on... They were messing around back there for awhile - up on the roof, in the attic, the bathroom, etc.
Finally, I go back there to find they have taken apart all the hardware under one of our bathroom sinks - bits of pipe everywhere - and one of these guys is holding an elbow joint and telling me this is the problem with our water. It's old and clogged with rust, he says - and shows me by pretending to attempt to blow air through it.
He puffed out his cheeks and got all red in the face with the effort. He said this elbow joint from under the sink was responsible for the stoppage, which I thought was odd, considering the toilet and shower were also affected.
He said he had bypassed the joint and now our water was running again - turned on a tap to demonstrate. His bypass had left us with two out of three working sinks and a pile of hardware on the floor.
None of the work was authorized by me - he had just gone ahead and done all this while I was busy in the front of the shop. He said we needed extensive pipe-replacement work done if we wanted decent water pressure.
When I expressed some doubt as to the truth of his story - ran water right through the "clogged" elbow joint - he and his crew just up and left me with this mess. I called Royale's office and spoke to a woman who told me I had received an hour's worth of free plumbing and it would cost at least $75.00 for them to come back and put it all together again...
Amazing, right? I think what happened was this: Dude went up on the roof, found our valve and opened it. Then he decided to try and monetize the situation with this clogged-pipe scam.
Bottom line: Royale Plumbing is a shady outfit - under no circumstances should you ever call them for any reason whatsoever. Now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta go down to Home Depot and buy some teflon tape and wrench all this stuff back together...

Called and explained what had happened. Someone came and ended up fixing the part that wasn't broken to begin with.
He also didn't have the other part that needed to be fixed with him. He left and said it still leaks but someone would call me.
She did call, charged me nearly $200 and told me it would be an additional $100+ to repair the other part (the only part that needed repair to begin with) I still have a faucet that leaks as it did before, and I'll have to spend more money for another company to come fix it. Save your time and money and do not use this company.

They charge to come out but if they don't have the part, they have to come out a second time. They gave us a quote and when I approved it a week later, the price magically quadrupled.
Apparently, they have had so many problems with customers in the past, they have to have several emails from the customer stating they will indeed pay for the service. Not sure this is the right business for us.

We used them a couple of times over the last few years, not by choice, but because our landlord has them on speed dial for plumbing related emergencies. Monique, who handles incoming client calls, is consistently rude.
She talks down to tenants, is very arrogant, raises her voice and has literally told me that she doesn't have to be nice because our landlord pays their bills, not us. We cancelled our last appointment and found a cheaper, more professional company with good customer service reviews.
Just search Yelp and you'll find plenty of good companies who will appreciate your business. Monique, who I spoke on the phone after one of the parts of our water system broke (because of over tightening by the plumber) was very rude.
She was very arrogant, raised her voice and threatened to have the guys working in our apt leave because they were taking to long, which is not our fault. Clients should always be treated with respect unlike Monique who started raising her voice and telling me that they have 30 years of plumbing experience, clearly she has no experience talking to human beings and being polite like a decent person.

Monique was very helpful and understanding. I couldn't be happier with the service and the price was very reasonable! Royale has great service and I have been using them for five years now to clean out the mainline at my house in West Hollywood. The sewer pipes are old and there is a good amount of root intrusion.
Royale does a great job at removing the roots and ensuring that waste water flows smoothly out. They are always on time and do a great job.

Although the price seemed high (I have nothing to compare it to), there was no confusion about what I should expect. Janelle let me know that the plumber(s) would be at my place between 6pm & 9pm.
3 hours is a big window & they ended up arriving closer to 9 than 6, but I appreciated that it was on short notice. The plumbers determined that there was more work than initially anticipated & I received a call from Janelle to inform me of additional costs while the guys were there/before they did the work.
The guys were quiet & clean & respectful. They were there for almost an hour, I think.
They did a great job & I feel confident that things are way better than they were before. I would definitely use Royale Plumbing again.
I've used these guys multiple times and have never been disappointed. I find their service to be reliable, trust worthy and cost appropriate.
They've done everything from unclogged drains to replace toilets. I would say the most important thing is that I trust them.

Everyone at Royale Plumbing was professional, informed, honest and reliable I had problems with my gas water heater and called gas company for assistance. At the time they came, I was told by their technician that the water heater needed to be cleaned because the air ways were blocked .
Internal cleaning must be done by a licensed professional so I found Royale. They were prompt and easy to deal with and the pricing was more than fair.

We've used them several times now on out ancient plumbing systems and they we're always readily available (even on a Sunday morning) and had the tools and parts ready to fix our plumbing emergencies. The staff is really helpful and they're reasonably priced which is pretty amazing, especially when your toilet explodes on a Saturday night! Royale Plumbing is fantastic! I had a plumbing emergency at 9:15 at night and they came and fixed the problem within two hours! I live in a one bathroom house so getting someone to show up after hours was a life saver.
The schedulers always have an attitude with me and the work leaves a lot to be desired. If you're a pinch they are ok for a temp solution, but you're going to be dealing with the same problem very soon again.
Spend a bit more and hire a better company. We had a problem with the main line of one of the guest houses on our property and the back up and flooding was overwhelming.
I didn't know if anyone would come out so late at night, but I called Royale and spoke with Monique and she assured me shed send someone out right away. It was amazing how quickly they arrived and the problem was fixed right away.
We were all so happy to have it done and are grateful for the quick fix. Price was more than reasonable especially since they came out when it was late.

The office staff were very helpful and prompt. A few weeks later I called to book an appointment and the person who took my call told me the booking was made but after arranging schedule to work from home the engineer did not turn up.
Called to chase and they informed me that they could not find my booking which was annoying. However, after a few initial issues the guys came out and fitted my toilet and did a great job.

The Special rate quoted to me over the phone of $23.99 to clear out a bathroom sink rapidly turned into $125.00 since he would have to snake it from the sink and not an access line?? I wished they had explained this to me and not made me wait 4 hours.

I manage an apartment building and needed a new plumber. It was already after business hours but Leon picked up the phone anyway.
We arranged for him to come by the next day to meet in person and give us a free estimate for a few plumbing issues, which came in at a reasonable price. They showed up on time for the scheduled work, got everything done very quickly and left the units very clean.
Leon is very experienced and trustworthy and does not try to sell you unnecessary repairs or replacements. I would definitely recommend them.
Needed a plumber in the middle of the night for an emergency leak. Called a couple different ones before royal plumbing.
One said they had to break down walls to find the leak, the other needed equipment called a leak locator that wasn't available at the time. Finally was recommended to call royal plumbing.
The owner himself showed up, inspected my bedroom where the leak was, inspected the garage below me, inspected the unit above me, all with a simply flashlight. After about 20 minutes he said he was 99% sure it wasn't a busted pipe in the walls that it was the shower from the unit above that was leaking.
He didn't even charge me for the service call. I even offered a tip and he refused.
Told the owner above to stop using his shower to see if he was right. Sure enough, next day after spending most of the day fanning out the wet carpet, it was practically dry.
No breaking down walls, no fancy equipment, just a guy who knows his business. He was a true professional who actually knew what he was doing.
I will recommend this company to my management office and I highly recommend this company to anymore needing plumbing services. Would go elsewhere if I was you.
After calls telling me the plumber was " 7 minutes away" and "right around the corner" I waited 45 minutes. I called and was informed it would be another 45 minutes (after being left on hold twice for 5 minutes each time).
The guy would only tell me that the plumber got hung up with no apology at all. Could not help but feel I was being lied to.
My advice is to go with Mr Rooter or a more well known reliable company. While attempting to clear the drain of my guest bathroom sink, the bottle trap broke off.
It had been installed by the home's previous owners and had no name or # on it, so I took a picture of it and emailed it to Royale Plumbing. Monique, the general manager, informed me that that particular bottle trap was not available and a new appropriate one would have to be located.
She basically left it up to me to find one that I liked and that was "to code". I searched on-line to locate the trap that I liked.
It would be going under a beautiful free-standing sink and so it had to be very attractive and look good with the sink style. When after a couple of days I located the bottle trap I wanted, I called Monique and emailed her the info on it.
She then located it and told me that she would get it and then schedule the installation. During this process, I was very grateful that Monique stayed in touch with me by email and phone.
The service technician, Luis, who came and installed the new trap was very professional and courteous. When I saw that a small part the sink stopper had suddenly broken off, he gladly replaced it.
He then showed me how to clean the trap. Before he left, he made sure that the sink was now working properly.
He also cleaned around his work area. In conclusion, my entire experience with Royale Plumbing, from the first phone call and subsequent conversations by phone and email with Monique, to the actual performance of the service, was OUTSTANDING!!! I was referred to them by a good friend and neighbor, and now I will also be happily referring them to other friends and neighbors in need of excellent professional and courteous plumbing services.
