Turns out the pipes under the sink were super old and leaky so he went to Home Depot and got the parts to replace them. Then, he installed a new faucet for us.

We had been wanting to install a new faucet and already had one picked out so we asked him to do it today as well. Michael really goes above and beyond - not only did he install the faucet, he also consulted us on positioning of the handle, and cleaned up some of the calcification on the counter before installing it.

Lastly, they don't really fix dishwashers but our dishwasher leaks through the aerator so we asked him if he'd take a look. He quickly diagnosed the issue (a cap blocking the dishwasher drain) and removed it for us free of charge.

Then, he even helped us put some WD 40 on the squeaky hinges. It really made our day to get such quality plumbing work done by Michael at an affordable price.

We had an emergency saturday night with the kitchen sink not draining properly and called this place the following morning. I spoke to a tech over the phone and he sent Micheal over to assist us! Michael was very punctual, very helpful and knowledgeable on everything with this process and answered all my questions.

He was not pressuring at all, and informed us of how old some of the fixtures are and how it could be bad to leave it without new replacements. After some time, we decided to go through with both replacements and he gave us a good price and even got the parts for us that same day.

Had a pipe burst in my home on a Friday night and was filling up in my laundry room and starting to leak out to the bathroom and hallway. I called Ralph and he sent over his ace Chris who quickly replaced the broken copper pipe and got our hot water going again.

I recently bought a home, and inspected the backyard sewer pipe during the inspection period with a separate firm (to remain unnamed). I was told the sewer pipe is misaligned, and that it would cost be $6,700 to fix the problem - and that I should not wait to solve it, otherwise it may become a $20,000 problem.

Just from going through the inspection process, and knowing that I should always get a second opinion (after being screwed over many times in my past), I decided to call another company for a quote. After purchasing the home, I called Ralph at Hard Hat Rooter, and asked if he'd be willing to come out to provide a second opinion quote.

He said sure thing, and came by the very next day. He was very honest - he used his sewer scope for the assessment, and told us that it's a 50/50 chance that the issue may become a big deal down the line - but that it's NOT a major problem now.

He said if it were his home, he'd wait and see, and maybe in 1-2 years we should call him to come back and check it. Ralph just saved us $6,700 - which I know we may need to pay him down the line to fix the problem, BUT it's a relief that I don't have to pay that NOW (especially with all of the other costs we are incurring with the home).

They accommodated our request on short notice. Michael, the technician, found an active leak in the garage ceiling that would've cost at least $3000 to fix among other repairs needed.

He also informed us that the situation might be worse once he opens up that ceiling - the leak could be worse, there could be mold, etc. Thanks to his diagnosis and report, we were able to bring this up to the seller, who was unwilling to meet us halfway and decided to cancel the sale instead.

To this day, that property is still on the market which is very weird since every property is getting snatched up pretty fast nowadays. We were very happy to have avoided the headache! We're on Escrow for a different property now (which we love so much more than the last one, btw) and of course, we called Hard Hat again.

Rueban sent AJ to our house the same day. AJ discovered that his snake was not effective (meaning my problem was much worse) at clearing the blockage.

He called Rueban to come by and access the problem. They discovered that the pipes to my home were not optimally laid out therefore the pipes weren't able to properly drain.

It was a really big greasy mess! In any event, they recommended and completed a Hydrojet and replaced the broken disposal. All in all, an amazing experience.

We needed Toto toilets installed and the plumber we called refused to do it after looking at it and also several others I reached out to said no or were charging too much, but David confirmed his team is experienced with these toilets and they were able to come immediately the day after I reached out to him. Woke up to a leaking toilet on a Sunday morning and needed a plumber ASAP. Went to Yelp and literally called over 25 plumbing business that claimed to be open on a Sunday.

Luckily I came across this company. David said he'd call me back to let me know if he had anyone available and tbh I wasn't hopeful that he would given the responses I'd been getting from others all morning.

Detailed Version: I bought a 4-plex that was in dire need of new pipes. At the same time I had the city install new water meters for each unit, so this was a good opportunity to get it all done in one - new pipes and separating out each unit to its own meter.

Going into it, I knew it wasn't going to be easy, since all units were occupied by long time tenants. Housing Department wise this is not an easy task.

I had multiple companies come out and bid on the project to get a sense for price and efficiency. Ruben, the business owner, came out and took a look at the property, inside and out.

We talked for a while about the goals of the project with timelines, the challenges, and intricacies. He immediately stood out from other contractors.

He seemed honest and straight forward. He kept it simple and by that I don't mean a "no big deal" attitude but the bottom line was clear and precise.

Where there was a clear task, he said so, and where there were possible variables, he did not dilute those. By the end of our conversation, there was no question for me that I wanted to work with him.

His bid came in and it was perfectly appropriate for the scope of work. The next time we met, was at the Department for Building and Safety to apply for the permit.

He was super comfortable with the process and knew every step along the way. The next 3 months went by, for me to go through the Housing Departments requirements, to be able to begin the work.

In all this time, Ruben was patient and I kept him updated on the progress. I got a sense that he was an in-demand guy, just from other job site stories he told me.

When I finally got a start date for my property, Ruben was ready for it and put it on his calendar. He had anticipated about 2 weeks for the project.

We spoke a few more times to coordinate the start of the project and then we met the 1st day of the work at the job site. I met his crew and they all were more than friendly and kind.

I felt relieved, since they would enter my tenants homes and spend the next weeks there. Ruben understood this and was concerned with making sure that the tenants and their space was being respected.

In the next two weeks, Ruben and his crew, repiped the entire building with new hot and cold water lines. He used a combination of PEX A, the highest grade of Pex piping, and type L copper pipes.

He ran into a few smaller challenges along the way but handled them all with no problem. As a result there were basically no surprises since he had anticipated it all and we spoke about it in advance.

Originally we did speak about the possibility of replacing the drain lines as well, but Ruben said, he can tell in more detail what needs to be done, once the walls are opened up for the repipe. At that time, he suggested to replace a few drain lines but ultimately it made sense, to replace them all for a complete job.

Ruben agreed and in order to keep with the original time line of 2 weeks, he brought on additional guys! Absolutely brilliant! Ruben went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right, to code, and to his own standards. To give an example of his holistic view, he made sure to only cut the tile in the bathroom that was absolutely necessary to cut and showed the same consideration in all other areas of the work! He made sure to keep his footprint small, and the crew did an amazing job cleaning the site at the end of each day.

The tenants were happy and comfortable throughout, and that relaxed me. Long story short, the inspector came in, looked at the work and was impressed by the quality of the craftsmanship! He signed off on the spot and the guys closed the walls so my tenants could get back to their lives.

The project was done on time, on budget, and above and beyond expectations! I'll tell you this, I deal with contractors here and there, but Ruben is different. When he said he would call, HE CALLED! When he said, he'd be there, HE WAS THERE! When he said, he'd make it happen, HE DID! EVERY SINGLE TIME! He was kind, calm, and reliable throughout the entire time he worked on my property.

We interviewed several plumbers ,for major repiping, Because We had a 2nd slab Leak. We had a pinhole leak in the bathroom and learned that our neighbors, whose houses were all built at the same time, were having leaks every couple of months so we decided to go ahead and repipe the whole house.

Wow. It is quite invasive, but surprisingly, they put it all back together like new.

It is kind of unbelievable really. We had 3 companies come and give us quotes, all were in the same ballpark, but Ruben had the best Yelps, and said he would be here for the work, which he was.

It is annoying when you deal with a person who gives you the quote, and you hire them, then you never see that person again. Well, Ruben is there and doing the work, and his years of experience show.

Earlier this month, we discovered a leak that had flooded the crawlspace of our home. The water had to be pumped out and then the crawlspace dried out.

Our water had to be shut off completely. This would leave us without water for at least a week, yikes! Turns out we needed to replace an old leaky main pipe going to our garage/laundry/rec room.

And as recommended by our plumber, we also decided to re-pipe the entire house. Thankfully, our plumber referred us to the Repipe Expert.

I had his company and another (5-star rated company on Yelp) come out for estimates and it wasn't even close. After a 30-minute inspection, Ruben gave me 2 bids: 1 for PEX and 1 for copper, and gave me the pros and cons of each.

The other company performed a 15-minute inspect and gave me a single bid for copper. Ruben's PEX and copper bids was about 20% and 50% more expensive, respectively, than the other company's bid, but his bids were detailed with every item that would have been done in every nook and cranny in our house.

I am wise enough (read: gone the cheap route too many times) to know that there's a difference between price and value. I chose Repipe Experts and it took them 2 days to do all the re-piping (I went with PEX) and another day to patch everything.

It is really nice to have high quality water pressure all through the house now, but even nicer that there are no bad thoughts or concerns lingering in the back of my head. 5 stars.

From start to finish awesome job. Contacted Rueben asked for a bid on a complete home repipe and new additional plumbing being added to the home.

EXCEPTIONAL. After getting several other bids, Ruben came to the house and did a thorough investigation to determine our needs and options.

The bid I received was the most comprehensive and easy to understand, and it included detailed information about the different materials we could choose. We had our entire house repiped, and replaced the old water heater tank with a tankless system including built in recirculation.

Came out on time and kept me informed the entire time. They found a leaky gas line on my hot water heater and just put on a new one, moved a hose bib, all extras and just took care of it no extra charges! Not often do we see customer service like that! He was very professional and through checking where all our water pipes and fixtures were. He gave me a estimate and after calling other companies I decided to use his.

The result was excellent, Ruben and his team were professional , worked as a team , and cleaned up after each day. Ruben also noticed that our drains were very slow and noticed a tree was located on top of our main pipe to the sewer.

Repipe expert changed out our old pipes to Copper and also suggested we get rid of one of our old water heaters and to run a water line to the main house water heater.

That right there saved us money in the long run and the trouble of having to service 2 separate water heaters later on. I like the fact that they did the patch work on any holes they had to open.

That also saved us time having two find a separate contractor just to do patchwork. Ruben also patched an existing hole under our kitchen sink and didnt penny pinch about doing so.

One company wanted to put in a pump. Ruben said it was a waste of money because my house is small and the water heater isn't very far from any of the faucets or the dish washer and washing machine.

Half way through the job I became dubious because suddenly I needed something that wasn't part of the original estimate. But Ruben was right and when he showed me the pipe it was original from 1932 and really just a ghost of a pipe with a lot of crud holding it together.

I'm a firm believer in Yelp reviews from customers. When we were looking for a company to repipe our house, which has been plagued with repeated slab leaks too numerous to mention, I looked at the Yelp reviews.

It is very, very rare to see a company that has many reviews, to have ALL 5 star reviews. I was impressed by the rating and comments.

We called Reuben from Repipe Expert and he quickly came out to give us a bid. He was very easy to work with and was willing to do exactly what we wanted done.

His team showed up on the appointed day and did an awesome job. They all work together like a well-oiled machine.

Ours was a three-day job, but we were only without water for around 9 hours on the 2nd day. They lay down canvas runners all over the house so they don't make a mess and clean up very well each day before they leave.

They had to cut many holes in our stucco and walls, since they rerouted our water from under the slab up into the attic. I have to admit I was a bit worried about all of the holes - what if they were really obvious at the end of the job? Other Yelp reviews had said they did a good job on wall/stucco repair and they were spot on.

Cool guy and super down to earth! We had finally decided to replace our 50s era pipes after a pipe in bathroom burst. We contacted a few big companies that send out a salesman and have crews that do the job.

While they had good reviews and similar prices, the plumbers that are going to do the job were not known ahead of time. Ruben is the owner and head of his crew, and you meet him right up front.

He was great- went out of his way to do a terrific job on our PEX Repipe. Solved tricky logistical issues, very efficient & neat.

I am relieved I have done it! Reuben and his team repiped a home for me early this year. It was built in 1947 and water pressure was very poor.

I liked his presentation so well I did not bother getting other bids. He sold me on PVC piping over copper as the new industry standard (though he was quite willing to do either.) He and his crew came in and had the job done within 3 days.

It would have been two but I needed a larger diameter drain pipe. That extra need threatened to dramatically bust my budget but Ruben found a middle ground that still produced the desired effect.

5 stars easy! I just had Ruben and his team repipe a four unit residential building that own. The building was built in 1923 and needed all water pipes (galvanized steel) and horizontal drains replaced.

I started my search for a plumber on yelp and ended up contacting some of the higher ranked contractors. Ruben ended up getting the contract as he was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable person, and his price was right too! The job was started Monday morning as promised and also completed on schedule two weeks later.

This being a residential building, the ability to communicate with the tenants was very important to me and Ruben did a great job - even with the most difficult tenant. I can highly recommend Ruben and his team, and would definitely hire them again.

We've had a few pinhole leaks that have been repaired but a recent slab leak finally persuaded us to repipe our entire house. I had 6 different companies come out and quote the work and we liked Repipe Expert the most.

While a majority of the companies sent out sales reps to see our home, we appreciated that Ruben would actually be working on-site as well. They are competitively priced and worked with any requests we had.

My dad had major surgery earlier this year so he wasn't able to move heavier items and Ruben said no problem, if there were any big heavy items in the way his guys would help take care of it. Can't say many of the other companies offered that same kind of customer service and understanding.

Unfortunately for them, my home has a small crawl space to maneuver in, and on top of that they had to contend with 100 degree weather. The crew never complained.

When the crew was under the house, they discover the sewer pipes were also in bad condition. Ruben said I could replace them now, while they were under the house, or I could delay the project.

I decided to repipe the sewer line too. When all of the old pipes were removed, I could see that they were all in bad shape.

I read a lot of Yelp reviews before getting Ruben over for a quote. They were almost $2,000 under a competing quote for a whole house repipe with copper all the way from the street.

But mostly it was how comfortable I felt with the initial walk through and quote process. The job included some nasty trenching through a very hostile cactus garden and under the asphalt driveway (I can't believe they trenched through that).

I can very much endorse the other positive reviews of this crew. I really appreciated the time Ruben took to explain the process and the options.

He was also incredibly flexible and communicative during the job, and we made some adjustments as we went along, in part to accommodate some requests from my landscape guy. I now have a high pressure line with independent shut-offs and pressure regulator to my yard separate from the house supply, to allow completely independent pressure control for irrigation and the house, which is perfect and wasn't part of our original plan.

He also worked with my landscape guy to run conduit through the same trench in the driveway for future low voltage wiring. Ruben was able to make on the spot quotation adjustments to the curve balls I threw at him during the project.

The entire crew were wonderful and worked insanely hard on some blisteringly hot days. I live in a townhouse gated community and was doing some home improvements adding washer and dryer in my own unit. My construction guy informed me my unit's own water line has no shut off valves! Scrambling to find a plumber, Luis was able to come over next day to do an estimate and two days later complete the task of adding shut off valves.

I was able to get a quote over the phone and schedule work the next day. The work was not urgent.

I had a slow draining kitchen sink which I would snake every 6 months. But I could only go down 9 feet into the drain before my snake twisted up.

I suspected a bad clog further in the pipe. I had old galvanized kitchen drain pipe about 22ft long.

I called SER plumbing to have it replaced with ABS pipe. While they were replacing the pipe they noticed an existing ABS pipe that was not slopped correctly.

After receiving a few estimates from other plumbers and companies, I contacted Jose at Ser Plumbing. Other plumbers came out and checked the area around the leak, and said that the entire main pipe from the street to the house would need to be replaced since there might be other issues with the pipe.

I wasn't too sure they were being up front with me and what the actual issue was; it seemed to me that for them it would be easier work to dig the trench, replace the entire pipe (which is copper all the way from the street to the house), and get a nice big invoice ready for it. One plumber even told me that he replaces entire water mains all the time, making it seem like it's a default diagnosis.

Carlos (Charlie) is the owner of the company and the person who shows up to do the job ! He gave me a time frame and texted to lmk he was on way, he cleared one backed up toilet and made sure there was no mess : ), then looked at another toilet and gave me advise on clearing water jets with a decalcifier from Home Depot, 2nd toilet was working just slowly . Another time I had him run a camera to check the sewer line, he showed me a couple of " offsets" but no roots and advised to check again in a year.

He does a great job and is honest about what work needs to be done, no upsells, just a great plumber and good guy!
