After the technician came out and assessed the issue (Maserati was on time, respectful, and knowledgeable), he said that his manager would be in touch because the damage was significant. I met with Leonard (owner) and a rep from a water mitigation company he worked with.

They recommended that I file an insurance claim because of the damage and assured me that they would take care of everything. Over the next four months, while I fought with my homeowner's insurance, they moved me out of my home, tore up most of the floors in the house, opened several walls and ultimately cut into my subfloor to fix the pipe.

Despite multiple setbacks with insurance, Leonard and his subcontractor dismissed and ignored my multiple requests for a detailed accounting of expenses and cost estimates of work that needed to be done. Once it was clear that insurance wasn't going to pay their outrageous demands, the subcontractor disappeared and I was left with the bills for the overpriced vendors that Leonard used without running the cost by me, including his own temporary housing company.

But hey, at least I'll have the memory of paying other vendors to fix the damage they caused and hauling away an enormous pile of trash that they left in my side yard to remember them by. Contacted the business because owner is local resident who ran for city council.

Initial communication with receptionist was very professional & thorough, re-confirming appt & nature of issu. However, no one showed up on the trice confirmed date/time, nor contacted me.

I received a call 36 hrs later asking to come out which I declined due to the inconvenience & lack of professionalis. Disappointing We've used LRS Plumbing for many projects over the years: toilets, water heater replacement, faucets, garbage disposal, and recently shower valve fix.

I will use them again and recommended LRS to my mom as well. I've been a customer for about seven years for various plumbing issues from faucets, toilets, and washing machine water line to hot water heater repair, hydro jet service, and pipe leaks.

The service has always been prompt, professional, and reasonably priced, and the work has been quality. This month, I had to have a major repair to a broken exterior pipe underneath a cement block wall at my property line.

The repair required breaking through concrete to access the leaky pipe while taking care not to disturb the integrity of the cement block wall. The technician, Maserati, arrived 45 minutes early and had a warm, pleasant, conscientious, and considerate disposition throughout the project.

He kept me updated throughout his work, including giving me an hour advance notice about the need to shut off water so that I could prepare and reduce any inconvenience. His demolition and the surrounding area was neat, and he took before and after photos and videos of the project.

My parents and two sisters are also repeat customers who have been very happy with the plumbing work at their homes. I often refer people with plumbing needs, and the quality of Maserati's work on my most recent job finally prompted me to spread the word even more by leaving a Yelp review.

The plumber was tired and exhausted, which is odd because he was the owner. I would've given them more stars, except while I was in the kitchen, he came in the back with this hugely dirty and disgusting machine to rod my toilet, WITHOUT COVERING THE FLOOR.

Which means sewage from all over Los Angeles can from the back door, all the way through my daughter's bedroom, and into her bathroom. He got the job done, but I had to stop everything and mop a huge section of our home.

In this day and age, sanitation is important. He gets no stars in that department.

I am beyond disappointed. I called at 7:52am, to see if someone could come out and light my hot water heater.

I was told I needed to pay the emergency after hours fee, because they don't open until 8am. I called back at 8 and was told someone would come out between 9-12.

At 12:44 I got a text saying someone would be out between 4-6pm. I called after 6pm and was told someone would call me back.

I received a text saying that I would be contacted after they finished a job they were working on. I was okay with that, but at 10:32pm I got a text saying " just getting done we have to come tomorrow." Never again! I searched for a few hours to find this company because I forgot the name and I wanted to support their business.

LRS continues to be the best plumbers I have ever worked with. I've had several issues that a contractor caused that they have been able to fix.

They always do a great job, explain everything clearly, and are on time! What else could you ask for? I found out about LR Services Plumbing in an Instagram comment, and I'm glad I did, because our main bathroom's toilet was making a weird lingering noise when it flushed. I checked Yelp to see reviews and decided to work with this team.

Setting up an appointment was easy, I provided photos of the toilet, so our plumber could get an idea of what materials may be needed to complete the repair. The day of my appointment, our plumbing expert arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time, which I mean who complains about punctuality, no one, cause time management is dope.

The repair lasted less than 20 minutes, our plumber was professional, he communicated the problem and the work he'll be doing to make the repair. Bada-boom bada-bing the toilet is back flushing without a soundtrack.

I would recommend LRS Plumbing, and will definitely use this team again. Well, I have to flush now.

Thank you for reading. After several visits over multiple years, I've been able to form an opinion from observing trends on what they do well and what they don't.

The work done seems fine if expensive, and they tend to arrive on time. The communication between their techs and their main office is not good and has been an issue on multiple occasions.

They do not provide concrete info on cost before doing work, and the numbers after are above the market rate and competitors for the area. I called asking for an estimate on a larger job, was having two other companies bid for the work as well.

LRS wanted to send someone by to take a look before giving an estimate and we set up a time. No mention of cost was brought up for doing the estimate.

When the techs arrived they believed they were there to do a video inspection for the sewer line. I corrected them that this was an estimate call they took a look but were not able to provide an estimate at that time, and no work was completed.

At the end they told me I was going to be charged for a service call. I let them know that that was unusual for an estimate, and hadn't been disclosed to me when the appointment was made (none of the other companies were charging for estimates), but that I didn't want a dispute and I would pay it if they sent me a written invoice.

No, follow-up, and no invoice but a week later their dispatch called asking when we could schedule for that sewer line inspection. I had to get a tech on the phone to understand what they even wanted to do- they were calling to schedule starting the work- the one they hadn't provided an estimate for and I hadn't approved starting- nice enough folks and I imagine well-intentioned but the communication is not great and not equal to larger projects needs.

Would happily call them again for minor service needs around the house when I'm willing to pay a premium, but they didn't meet my expectations for communication with a large construction job. I still plan to pay the $65 invoice for the estimate whenever they send it- even if it feels bad that they didn't disclose it upfront, and the other companies (one of whom will likely get my business on this project) didn't charge for their estimates- I have no desire to stiff the techs for the company having operations and main office issues.

Was charged a little over $250 in labor to install a $100 garbage disposal which is pretty steep- but its not like I was going to send them away. My only annoyance was that the tech didn't give me a quote prior to doing the work, and it was way more than I would have thought.

Upon doing some research I could have gotten this job for almost half price but that's my bad- frankly it's for my office so it's no skin off my nose. I'm glad to be able to give 'em my boss' money but if it was MY money...

These guys are cool as hell, from the minute you put in the service call,until the time the guys are done with the job, these guys are professional, friendly, and fast. Their estimates are fair and most importantly, they stick to them.

No bullshit up-sales. I have used them at my home as well as at my business and every single time I get the same fantastic service and Ive never had a problem with any of the jobs they have done.

In my opinion, they are the very best in the business. --TL;DR - I experienced fantastic customer service, they arrived within the set appointment window, they freely* gave information and advice on how to fix it myself if I wanted, were super knowledgeable and very friendly.

The fix was quick, competent, and effective. For parts, equitable labor wages, education, a 1-yr warranty on the repair, and customer care, this was definitely worth what we paid.-- I'd also recommend calling instead of emailing for quicker intake.

*I say freely as in "offered without prompting." Technically, if I had decided to do it, it would have been a flat $65 for the on-site consult (which would have been totally worth it for the detailed, in-depth advice he gave on how to fix it ourselves and how to avoid future instances of damage) but that was waived since we decided to have them fix it right then and there, which was fantastic. We had Maserati (sorry if I messed up the spelling!) and he was really understanding.

He was thoroughly answered my questions and helped me understand a variety of options for the repair we needed. He also gave us all the info we would need to fix it ourselves, as well as some fantastic tips and expertise that are super helpful to know in general when it comes to plumbing and fixing/investigating things for ourselves.

I feel like the education was absolutely part of the value and I'm very happy with what I paid for what we needed. For reference, our toilet tank connection is plastic (apparently they all are) and I was attempting to attach a metal bidet adapter.

Undoing the connection from the plastic water supply connector--combined with a slightly crooked toilet tank connection and my own repeated overenthusiastic attempts to screw on the metal bidet adapter--caused the flimsy plastic toilet tank connection to become crossthreaded so badly that I couldn't even reattach the original plastic water supply connector. Maserati laid out options/recommendations for fixing it ourselves as well as what a fix from him would look like.

We ended up paying around $260 and it was done in about an hour, and he even took the time to re-hook up the bidet. And I was pleased to notice on the invoice that there was a 1-year warranty included with the repair.

Thanks Maserati! Don't waste your time with them beyond unprofessional they will have you waiting all day then cancel last minute. First the time they didn't even hook up my tankless water heater correctly, they had to come out the same day and recheck it smh.

I'm a black customer who tried to stay with my people but never in this lifetime will I ever deal with this company again not even if they offer me free service. I called LR Services because the faucet with a sensor on our kitchen had no water coming out and the water wasn't going to the dishwasher either.

The water to the rest of the condo (bathrooms) were working fine so we knew that it was an issue w/ the kitchen water source. The issue was intermittent (I think it may have something to do with the water pressure).

Note we never had this issue before. So when Marcus came over the water was working but he said that he checked the faucet and turned off the sensor so we can just use the faucet as a regular faucet.

The very next day, we didn't have water in the kitchen again. CLEARLY the issue was not resolved.

I called them back hoping that they would help or at least send a tech again to come and look at our faucet and they said they would have to charge me AGAIN for an issue that they didn't resolve. I don't recommend this plumber to anyone.

They will not work with you if you have a more complicated issue. They just run you through their checks and don't take any responsibility.

After a cursory inspection they said it needed to be replaced. They gave me an estimate of around 2000 dollars.

This was quite expensive for me so I decided to do my own inspection. I climbed up, took a look on top and found the connection pipe that caused the leak and realized it was only a corroded pipe.

I called another plumber, they swapped out the pipe and the leak was fixed. I would not do business with them again.

I moved into an old house recently and the moment I got in there I was met with problems. Luckily, a friend recommended that I use LR Services Plumbing as they had really good prices and would get the job done quickly.

Had an appointment for 11:00 am - at 11:30 am - had to call to see where they were at - Owen called back and apologized- had an emergency call that he was still working on - would not be there until 02:00 pm I was concerned because I had no water in the house Owen came at 02:00 pm - confirmed that the main water line to the house had to be replaced This is a major job and I was concerned that the job might take more than 1 day Owen stated that he would get water working in the house He and his associate worked from 02:00 to 11:00 pm - 9 hours but got me water The house was built in 1899 so it was not a simple replacement but they were fantastic I would recommend them to everyone So this was the first time i used this company.

And I have to say that i was impressed. They were extremely professional and the price was very reasonable ..considering I have used plumbers in the past that try to give you astronomical estimates on what I believe to be simple work.

There was even a mixup with when a technician was supposed to come back to my home the following morning and they rectified everything with constant communication with me ...keeping me informed and going out of their way. Will definitely use them again.

On Sunday morning we had a blockage that caused our bathroom to flood, I called LR for what I thought was going to be a simple snaking the line service but it turned out that we actually needed a section of the pipe under the driveway to be dug up and replaced. They arrived within an hour of my call and stayed until 9:30 pm on a Sunday to finish this much more intensive than expected job so that I could return to using the water in my house asap.

Estimate for an extra bath was on point, and tankless water heater inatallation experts. They used to service my hair salon building when the drains got clogged with hair.

This is yet another great experience with LRS and their team. The original plumbing in my home busted and I remembered seeing this plumbing company participating in the King Day Parade a few years ago.

I called the office in distress. I had been experiencing low flow and knocking when I tried to turn on the hot water from the kitchen faucet.

Exceptional Service - I called on New Years Eve at around 1pm - my kitchen sink was clogged - I had people coming to dinner. I had already tried to clear the clog, and I had made matters worse - now the drain lines under the sink were leaking.

Vincent, from LR Services, told me that they were pretty busy, but he'd try to get me taken care of. He called back after rearranging the schedule and had a window between 3: 30pm and 5:30pm - I took it.

He ended up getting Owen out there at 3:15pm. Owen was awesome - he immediately assured me that he would have me cooking again (literally) in a short time.

I have a home that was built in 1927 (Spanish Bungalow) and the water heater went out. No surprise there as the last one was installed in 1996.

I am amazed it lasted 18 years. Anyway, it died, kaput.

I was having to relight the pilot every day. That got old real quick.

I purchased a new water heater and needed it installed same day. I called and spoke to the lovely April, who said she would find out if they could come by for an estimate and that she would get right back to me.

5 minutes later, she did and said they would be by within the hour for an estimate. They were there in 45.

They quoted a reasonable flat price for the install and took great care to make sure that it was done right. Keep in mind the plumbing on my house is OLD and they had to do a lot of work arounds and unforeseen accommodations.

They took out the old heater, installed the new one and cleaned up everything and did a fantastic job. But wait, it doesn't end there.

They leave and I try to run the hot water in the kitchen. It is clogged from all the rust in the old pipes being flushed through - and no water comes out.

I called Owen and Marcus, they picked up, turned AROUND, and came BACK. Fixed my kitchen faucet, cleaned the drain screen and finished the job right.

They didn't need to come back, and they certainly could have charged me more to do so. I am a client for life and I hope that if you are reading this, and are looking for a reliable, honest, punctual and consummate professional plumber - call LR.

I initially called my homeowner's insurance company only to be given the run around regarding appointment and arrival times. Upon not being able to secure an evening appointment, I called LR Services Plumbing.

I asked for the projects to be bid out separately as I knew one was a wish item I was trying to get approved. I gave them a pass on the delay in getting the bid because Owen followed up after I called and hey mistakes happen.

When I got my revised proposal minus the wish item it was $1400 higher than the original bid, I felt like I had been bamboozled. How does Demo cost increases by $1000? When I called to ask he said that the original bid was bid out assuming it would all be done together even though I specifically asked for the job to be bid separately , as I knew one would probably not get approved.

I asked for contingencies to be put on the proposal and some were but apparently they decided to increase the cost by $1k, , maybe because I am a woman, maybe because they didn't put enough care into the first proposal but it's bad business to do that. Not good guys! Great service! Marcus came out to unclog my toilet; he was punctual and professional.

The following day the toilet began to flush slowly again and Marcus returned to fix the problem and its flushing fine now. Great courteous and professional service from both the office staff and the plumbers.

Lee H. When I called Cornett on 7/3/24, the day before the Fourth of July holiday weekend, I fully expected to arrange an appointment for the following week to fix some annoying but non-emergency plumbing problems.

Instead I was informed that a technician would arrive between eleven and two that day! As a long time and well satisfied Cornett customer I expected good service but this was above and beyond. Roger arrived at 1115 and diagnosed the problems in a few minutes and informed me that, luckily, he had the cartridge needed to fix one of the problems on his truck.

In about an hour and a half, my bathroom was again functioning as it should. If you need plumbing services or any of the associated services listed on their website, give these folks a try.

They know what they're doing and they run their business the way a business should be run. It's a pleasure to deal with them.

I've called for several days to set up an appointment and on my last attempt to reach someone, I get this rude woman on the phone who says her name is Minel (spelling not sure because she said she doesn't have to spell her name!) who apparently thinks she can be as rude as she wants to be and it's ok.

When asked to speak to the manager she says she is the manager. Who ever the owner is of this business please be aware you have the wrong person answering the phone! There are lots of plumbing companies out there so pass up Coronett and find one that treats people well.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! To the business owner's reply...THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WHAT THAT CONVERSATION WAS ABOUT! WE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO THE FEE! And if you don't think she was rude, then that explains why she was rude. You let it be ok! Shame on me for not asking more questions, but when I asked them about a loose tile under my toilet that I suspected was the result of a leak, they said they'd have to send a person to see if that was the case and said nothing else about a charge for giving the quote.

When the plumber came, he said he couldn't tell anything without lifting the toilet up and breaking the seal. For that it'd be 250, or 700 to just get a new toilet entirely.

When I asked him to write down the quote so I could ask my husband who wasn't home at the time, he charged 125 for just showing up to provide the quote. Having gotten quotes for non-urgent plumbing jobs before without being charged for a quote, I was shocked.

I understand some plumbers have service call fees, but to not be upfront about it ahead of time means I'll never use them again and stop recommending them to my friends, neighbors, and Nextdoor. Wow! I called on Monday to say i needed a new water heater.

Said they'd be out in 2 hours. I said thank you but how about Tuesday morning.

They said yes between 9 and 11 AM. On Tuesday morning they called me a little after 8 AM and said they were on their way.

As I was leaving the house for a few minutes, I said give me a half hour and I will be right back. When I got home, they were out front waiting for me.

They removed the old water heater, took it away and installed the new one in a very reasonable amount of time. The two guys that did the work were very polite and informative and thank you Cornette plumbing.

Thank you, Wayne! Our faucet burst in the bathroom sink and water started overflowing the entire bathroom. Mikey from Cornett was the absolute best! He was at our apartment complex helping another unit, and popped over right away to help us.

He fixed it immediately and even patched up a hole which was unrelated. We appreciate the service at Cornett and will always be calling them for any plumbing needs! I heard a faint noise in the bathroom from under our raised foundation and suspected a leak in our water line.

Dave was at our house about 90 minutes later. Dave dawned his Tyvek suit with forehead mounted flashlight, crawled under the house, found the leak and repaired.

Cornett has been servicing our plumbing and HVAC needs for well over 20 years. Where else can you get Journeyman Plumbers such as Dave who have been with Cornett for 42 years! From HVAC repairs, Kitchen and bath fixtures, water heater replacement, water pressure regulators and drain cleanout, their service is and has been, "SECOND TO NONE"! Again, for over 2 decades, Cornett has given us value to our home Plumbing and HVAC needs! Both my sister and I used their services quite a few times.

We trusted them although their charges are getting more expensive which we understand things are changed after Pandemic. The recent call was not satisfactory at all, workman went, could not complete the job as it was a community public issue, workman did call me to provide reason for not completing the job, but left without putting back what he removed.

I called their main line, emergency hot line with no response, called the workman and he hang up on me at the moment he answered and I said Hi. Believe me, the charges were ridiculous high for an incomplete service.

The 3 stars was rated overall satisfaction of all the services in years. Once again, Cornett came through for us.

Mark diagnosed the main line blockage problem, scoped it, and went to work. Everything was put back to as he found it.

A very responsible company that we're used exclusively since 1979. What a difference experience makes! I bought a shower/hand held combo from Kohler.

I was assured... simple...

just take off your old fixture and screw in the new one. Nope! Had to have a pipe"nipple" installed.

I called a plumber who came over, charged me 200$ to tell me he couldn't help me! (Why?? I still dont know? Inexperienced? Didnt care?) So it sat there for months while i tried to find someone to help. I remembered that i had used cornett before so i called.

They sent Dave over... experienced, efficient, and no drama repair! He even mounted the shower bar onto the shower tile with no problem!! Dave from cornett is my hero!! I so appreciate his expertise and experience! We had an issue with our kitchen sink backing up.

Roger was sent out to address the issue. I received a call 20 minutes prior to the 2 hour window they gave me letting me know they were going to be there early (I wasn't available to attend to them before scheduled time).

First time out, he asked very few questions and was in an obvious rush to move onto the next job. Visit took no more than 20 minutes (all he did was snake the pipe), and charged me $225.

The invoice states that the work included a 30 day warranty. After a few days we noticed that when the water ran for an extended period of time, it would start backing up again.

Contacted Cornell to have them send someone out to investigate further since snaking the pipe didn't ultimately solve the issue. Roger was sent out again.

He arrived with a terrible attitude, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Would not let me speak or explain what was going on.

After a few minutes he explained that he was pissed off because he had been waiting around for me, I tried to explain that the doorbell doesn't ring inside, so I couldn't have heard it and that I had no calls from them in attempt to reach me. He said he did call (later found out they called the old number on the account which I updated the first time I contacted them).

At the end of the day, this all could have been handle with SOME professionalism. It was completely uncalled for giving me such a nasty attitude and being so rude.

Clearly I wasn't trying to waste his time, it was simply a breakdown in communication. Not even an attempt to have a conversation without storming off and telling me to hire someone else.

Unreal. Also, it would be great if he could be taught how to write legibly on invoices to reduce the need to dispute the legitimacy of the "work" he claims he performed.

He did not know how to do a simple faucet replacement and damaged our finishes while trying to figure it out. He then said he could not do it and left without cleaning up the mess he left.

When we called the company, they said we must not have been nice to him (remarkable since no one had talked to the plumber so it was just a generic excuse and also since we were nice even when he walked out on us). Amazing they would blame us and avoid talking about their employee incompetence.

We recently had flooding in our garage due to a slab leak. We called Cornett and left a message.

It was late at night so we honestly didn't expect them to call us right back although the yelp site does say they're 24/7. I called again the next morning and talked to the secretary who told us someone would come take a look that morning.

Sure enough, Joshua came within an hour to take a look. They're super busy these days so his earliest availability wasn't until two days later which wasn't ideal but fine with us.

He said the job would take a day and a half but he was actually able to finish it all within a day! He did an excellent job and was very friendly and professional. We could tell he has a lot of experience and he knew exactly what he was doing.

We were so stressed out about the leak but his confidence put us at ease. He even talked to the HOA office for us and confirmed that it would be fully covered.

I highly recommend Cornett for any plumbing needs, especially Joshua! After purchasing our first home, we had two leaks within the first two months. I worked with other plumbing companies who were much more expensive, less reliable and not as responsive.

Once I finally started working with Cornett, everything became exponentially easier. Plus, their entire team (every tech I met) is so warm and easy to work with, which is a bonus.

I'll continue working with them from here out! But let's hope I don't have to. ;) They provided a 2800 dollar estimate to fix a leaking drainage pipe in the garage.

It was based on two guys spending all day. They worked for 3 hours, went out for 1 hour and finished in half a day.

So basically, the estimate was worst case and they charged as if it took the full day. That is 600 dollars an hour (2 guys) to fix a leaking drain pipe.

I emailed the company, left messages, and asked them to do the "right thing" and adjust the bill based on the actual time spent. They never responded to any of my inquiries.

Cornett does good work, but has always been more expensive than other companies. They've done several jobs for us with high quality work, but if you can't trust them to bill responsibly, then it is a sign of lack of integrity in their business practices.

Trust is an important part of hiring a contractor and I have none left for Cornett. I can't imagine trying to get a warranty call with this company when I can't even get an estimate for a new install.

I'll begin with the receptionist, they lack the art of customer service, when I first called, I mentioned I was looking to get a quote for an AC and Heater installation on a property. They seemed reluctant because I wasn't the home own, although I had full authority to get a quote started.

The receptionist was unwilling to help out to proceed with a quote for the property till finally, I had the home owner call them and tell them that I was authorized to get a quote. I mean, I understood their hesitancy with it however, I did not understand their lack of effort to help me out to move it along.

So finally, the appointment was made for the technician to come out and provide us a quote. The technician was on time, nice and respectful.

He took about 10 minutes to look around and mentioned, yup, we do these installs all the time. He mentioned we'll get that quote out to us soon.

Well a couple of weeks have gone by and haven't received a quote yet. I called for an update and once again, the receptionist wasn't much help again.

A couple more weeks went by and finally, I called again and asked to speak to the owner. When I spoke to the owner, I mentioned before I left a negative review about the service of your company, I hoping that you'll be able to remediate it and give you guys a fair chance.

I mentioned I understand how things call fall through the cracks but please note, this is us try to hire you and give you money for a service your company provides but it's getting me very nervous if I would ever need a warranty call on the installation. He mentioned he'll look into it and get back to me.

Well the owner of the company, much like the receptionist and the serviceman, did not get back to me after weeks of waiting. I always say that customer service is always a reflection of management and this once again proves it.

This also seems to be an ongoing issue with this business. I would strongly recommend that you call another business for a quote at the same time, in case they don't get back to you too.

So if customer service isn't a priority, then Cornell might be the company for you. Again, I didn't have the opportunity to hire then and experience their work but they were way below my level of customer service expectations.

Update: 05/25/2020 Oh, I don't mind you guys choosing not to work with me, but let me know. Don't leave people hanging for a response.

Again, I can't imagine trying to get a warranty. I've already installed a new unit and paid someone else $10k.

Came and replaced a broken heater without any issue and everything works perfectly! I had a leaky sewer cleanout and a recommendation from my general inspector that I hydrojet the sewer line. I had 3 plumbers over in total, one quoted a ridiculous price up front; another wanted $3800 to dig a trench and pull out the pipe.

Then Cornett Plumbing came over and took care of everything (no hydrojet was needed in the end) for $325. They are going to be my go-to plumbers from now on.

I love Dave as he is very experienced but all of the people who have come out have been great. They installed our water heater.

The owner, Dale, came out for inspection/estimate, explained a lot of things about tank vs. tankless, and was very knowledgeable and also friendly.

I liked his common-sense approach too. Then Roger came out to install the heater.

He was polite, left the garage clean, and was also friendly. Everything went so smoothly, and they've got a new, happy customer! The only thing is that they can upgrade their phone service.

I called in to give my credit card info. With such an easy task in a short time period, I was given a bad impression of rudeness and unfriendliness.

You never know what the person is going through... but unprofessional nonetheless.

On later visits that included replumbing a master shower, we have been privileged to develop friendly and trusting relationships with Roger and Manal. Then, over the holidays, we had a slab leak in the living room.

It was an absolute pleasure to work once again with Manal; she was knowledgeable, responsive, and courteous. Under a tight timeframe, she coordinated a team led by Josh and Jason to complete the repair before our daughter returned home.

After water from a pin hole leak in the ceiling damaged one of the rooms in our home, my wife and I decided it's time to repipe. Went with PEX and got quotes from several contractors to see how they compared to Cornett.

Some bid higher while others quoted lower. Some of them had only been repiping with PEX for a short time while others had years of experience, but also tried to up-sell equipment not needed as well as overcharge for the job.

Jason from Cornett came out for the estimate. Explained the pros and cons of PEX and copper as well as the costs.

I brought up the items other plumbers had mentioned during their estimates and he explained they were not needed or would not make a significant difference to water quality and only add to the cost of the repipe. Discussed the route where the new water lines would go and met with the abatement company to show where he wanted the holes to be specifically cut.

After the abatement company finished making their cuts, Jason came out with his brother, Josh and the pair worked quickly and efficiently to complete the repipe. The duo worked independently on their assignments to finish sections of the house fast but employed a sense of team work, if that makes sense.

At the end of each day, they cleaned up their respective areas nicely and brought any old copper pipe and debris with them. While working the job, I pointed out some non-related plumbing issues I had and Jason took care of those as well for a significantly less cost than what I thought it would be.

Nothing but positive comments for these guys and a continued commitment to excellence from Cornett Plumbing & Heating. Fixed a Google Nest thermostat that had been incorrectly installed.

It was a wiring problem. I have been using Cornett plumbing for over 25 years and I have been negligent in never giving them the outstanding credit they deserve.

They have replaced my piping with copper, replace and relocated water heaters on many occasions, installed new toilets, replaced wax seal and miscellaneous faucet/drain trap replacements...ALL WITHOUT A CALLBACK!!! Had a small revisit on some work and again received the best service I have had from a plumbing and heating service. Cornett guy knocked three holes in the drywall before he found the leak; simple repair at a fitting: sweat it off, remove split nut, replace with new nut, sweat fitting back on, tighten nut. $500.

Drywall neither repaired, nor was a referral given for a good drywall man. Unhappy camper.

Wall Heater was not working properly so I gave Cornett a call and was told that they could come out after 1pm and that I would get a call to let me know they were on their way. Dale arrived shortly after 1, looked at the heater asked a couple of questions, looked at the flame and discovered that the heater was pushing too much gas thought the burner and running too hot, made an adjustment, tested and checked some more, less than an hour and we have heat again.

Price was very reasonable and service was quick and efficient Would not heistate to use them again. Yelp once again did not disappoint when selecting a plumber for my Mom.

She wanted to get her water heater wrapped in a blanket since the heater is located in a metal shed outside next to her house. I spoke to Lisa at Conrett.

I called Cornette for a furnace installation quote after finding the great reviews. Someone came in to take a look and said he will provide me a quote next day.

Never received a quote next day so called again. I was told he will send it next business day.

We've called Cornett for other heating needs before and they've always explained everything calmly even with all our questions. I readily admit that I really don't know much about home maintenance! I just changed my furnace air filter after three years not realizing that we had to change it! This time around we wanted to do a furnace check as we haven't had one in all the time we've moved in.

After extensive researching it seemed like it was something that we should be doing every single year. Cornett came out this time and let us know that since we have a newer heating system, we didn't need any maintenance checks! We only needed to call for service if we found something went wrong! Well that's one thing I don't have to worry about doing every single year then! Thanks Cornett for being honest and telling us the truth about what's actually needed! Had to get some major work done on some rusted pipes in my house and they did a very good job with getting the work done and getting it done throughly.

It took them almost 2 days to get everything done, but they made sure to minimize how many walls they had to make holes in and got everything done correctly. They are a little more expensive but would rather not take a risk with something like plumbing and they give like a 20 year warranty on their work.

Edwin (our plumber) did a great job and was very professional. I don't often find myself saying that I love having a plumber or a heating expert at my house.

Most visits are usually filled with anxiety and skepticism, BUT you won't experience any of that with Cornett plumbing and heating. I ended up working with Wayne who is a member of the Cornett family at the kick off to a big demo project for our guest bathroom.

Wayne was punctual, courteous, clear with the plan of action and found ways to save us money on the project. We needed to replace an old heater, I mean seriously old, and relocate it from a closet on our ground floor to the attic so we could take back some of the space it was taking up in our bathroom.

We needed to have an abatement done since it's an old house and Wayne made sure to set everything up and made it convenient for our schedule. Once we were in the clear with the abatement, Wayne and his team showed up and got to work right away reducting the attic space.

Did I mention they're incredibly careful with making sure they leave your house better than they found it? All of the guys that came through our house on behalf of Cornett were great. They were all respectful and just all around nice, good guys.

It's important to feel a sense of confidence when you have strangers in your home. We hit a snag when we ordered the replacement furnace, but that had everything to do with the new emissions standards set by CA and not by any fault of Wayne or his company.

In fact, because we had an issue with the new furnace, he went above and beyond to make sure we didn't have any surprises budget wise. He was always very clear in his budget updates and always made sure we were happy during and after the project was done.

We plan on working with Wayne and his crew again in the spring when things start to heat up and we're ready to add air-conditioning. For now, thank you Wayne and the entire Cornett crew for such a positive experience.

Great experience with Cornett - twice! I had Cornett over a few weeks ago to replace the hose bibs on my washer/dryer. Fast service, and a reasonable rate.

I found a need to call them again a short time later. I tried to install a smart thermostat on my HVAC and messed up the installation.

I called Dale, and he came out the same day (today!) and told me that I had burned out my transformer (oops). He replaced it and verified that my smart thermostat is now working like it should.

Can't believe the owner lets her talk to people the way she does and even answer the company phone. I live at an HOA that uses this company for plumbing so I've had to talk to her a couple of times when it comes to scheduling.

The HOA has thought about canceling service with this company due to Manal being so rude to the homeowners, we have all complained to the board about her. The only reason they haven't got rid of them is due to cornett knowing the building so well.

Wayne was out two days after that to install a new unit. He did great work, was nice, cleaned up, and even shared his Spotify playlist with me! Bonus! During the heat of the last few weeks, our air conditioner unit outside stopped working and no cool air was being produced.

I called Cornett to come out and repair it if possible. The appointment was for early afternoon so I left work early to be sure that I'd be home on time.

I got a call from the serviceman when he arrived, a few minutes after the appointment time, just to confirm I was home. He came up, asked for the synopsis, and then started investigating.

He checked the fuses and discovered one had die. My unit uses 25A fuses, but he only had 20A, so he replaced the old pair with those.

We then turned the A/C on, but it wouldn't start. He opened the side panel on the unit and started testing some stuff there.

He determined it was the capacitor that had gone bad, so he replaced that as well and the A/C started working. Fantastic! He came inside and showed me how to replace the A/C filter to increase air flow, and suggested doing it once for the winter and once for the summer, since each filter is supposed to last for 90 days of use (and I had never even known there was a filter to change).

The total came to $177 for parts and labor, which seems a bit on the high side for about 30 minutes of labor (though it was pretty hot outside, unfortunately), some fuses ($15 at Home Depot), and a capacitor that must be $15-$25 according to this site http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/ecatalog/N-1z0dmgx, but I'm happy that the A/C is working and the serviceman arrived on time, friendly, explained what he was doing, and worked expeditiously. I'd likely seek their services again.

In the past 2 years we have had a wall heater and water heater purchased and installed by Coronett, costing us close to $4k in less than two years. Our wall heater cost us $2k, was installed in feb 2018 and already has broken down.

He was on time and very professional. He located my leak and checked for moisture under my hardwood flooring.

Even though he had to cute into my drywall to locate he left everything clean and sent me an estimate within an hour or so. I called for an urgent service to repair outside hose bibb, which needs to be done from inside.

The technician quoted me $1000 something. I cancel the service.

Nevertheless I still need to pay $99 trip fee. I then get another plumber do the same with less than half of the price.

Once again when we needed plumbing assistance we reached out to Thousand Oaks Plumbing and requested Chris Danko our go to service technician for help with replacing our worn out vanity sink faucet. Chris arrived and surveyed our problem and noted that the shut off valves which were the original ones installed 52 years ago were frozen.

We were given an estimate and decided to have Chris install the shut off valves and the new faucet. Since we are familiar with Chris's work we had no doubt it would be done neatly and correctly installed.

I had a negative experience with a specific plumber not the company. The plumber by the name of Pablo is all about getting paid.

Once he gets paid he wants nothing else to do with his responsibilities. He will not answer your calls or deal with you after he receives payment.

Make sure if you deal with Pablo, you get everything you need from him before payment. He did fix my pipe in a reasonable time frame and charged me $2,300 to fix a bursted pipe but after he was paid he wanted nothing else to do with the job or providing information to the insurance company.

Pablo said his job was completed and he stopped answering my calls and refused to return my calls. If you get this plumber I recommend requesting a different plumber.

Juan is a very pleasant and capable gentleman. Did a great job.

I have a broken garbage disposal and, knowing nothing about plumbing, I accepted Thousand Oaks Plumbing's estimate of $1500 for a new unit (along with installing new piping). After I showed the estimate to my brothers, they hit the roof since they discovered that the unit that TO Plumbing was charging me $715 is only $125 at Home Depot.

They also said that there is nothing wrong with my pipes. Thankfully I was able to cancel the work and avoid being financially gouged.

Miguel is absolutely everything. He's pleasant, respectful, and works with an infectious smile.

I truly appreciate that he walked me through everything he was going to do so there was no surprises if something needed to be escalated. Honestly he will be the only technician I use AND refer from this point on.

Y'all are lucky to have him. I've used Thousand Oak Plumbing before and have always been happy.

I highly recommend Alberto for drain repair. He's extremely helpful, experienced and friendly ~ the price was very fair and the customer service is also outstanding! Alberto, the technician, was very professional! He was prompt , knowledgeable and very friendly! We would definitely refer this company for any plumbing issues! We worried that it would take a few days to get a plumber here, but they were able to send someone the same day.

Chris Danko was great. He was professional and friendly.

Fixed the issue, and gave reasonable explanations for his recommendation to change a couple of things before they became big problems. We're very satisfied.

Thank you!! With a fairly new hot water heater, I was getting hot water for only a few minutes before it turned cold. I contacted Thousand Oaks Plumbing because I was happy with their work in the past.

James pretty quickly determined the problem to be a bad check valve. He was very patient and took the time to explain the reasoning behind his diagnosis.

I agreed to the work and decided this was a good time to also rebuild my old shower/tub faucet. James quoted the cost for both projects and arranged for the work to be performed the next morning.

I got lucky as there was a cancellation and Juan arrived a couple hours later to perform the work. He completed both jobs much quicker than I had expected and fully tested his work before leaving.

Both James and Juan were knowledgeable and friendly as was the service coordinator on the phone. I plan to continue to use Thousand Oaks Plumbing in the future.

Update: I did receive a call from Chance the manager regarding these concerns. Chance was very understanding and took the time to really hear me out as a customer.

He seemed like he was genuine and wanted to make the situation right. He did offer a reasonable amount back on this service visit but more importantly was respectful and understanding of my concern.

I appreciate him making it right. Original Review: I called and was able to get an appointment same day.

I was looking to replace a sink faucet and shower head, tub spout, drain, and valve to a more modern look. I understand the valve is a decent amount of work so was willing to settle for doing everything else and leaving the old valve.

I asked for a ballpark estimate over the phone, (which of course they wouldn't do). They explained they could send someone out today who can price the job and potentially complete same day (as I had all the materials).

They explained it would be $99 for the visit but if I moved forward with the job they waive the $99 (or put it to the cost of doing the job). They sent Chris out.

He was fantastic. Nice guy, very respectful and down to earth.

If this review was for him it would be a total 5 star. Chris checked my regulator and water quality as part of the visit.

He said this was a regular part of the visit. I thought that was a good touch and also a great way to upsell you if you need a new regulator.

Certainly not mad about them being thorough. He took pictures and sent them in on his iPad and followed up with the company.

The price they came back with was crazy. They quoted over $500 just for replacing the sink faucet and pop up drain.

Note again I already purchased those items, so this was just for the labor. For the shower/tub over $700 for that part of the job without replacing the regulator.

Chris assisted in calling the person doing the quote and I explained that I thought those prices were way high. I was expecting about $250 maybe $300 for the whole job (about an hour to hour and a half of labor).

The guy on the phone said it was way longer of a job than that. He came down a little on the price but still was way over valued.

As I was stuck paying the $99 anyway I told them to move forward with just the sink faucet and pop up drain for $450 (the lowest price of that job). I was not happy with the price which I explained but also would not have been happy burning the $99 and getting nothing for it.

From my perspective this company charges the $99 and then over bids the job knowing most will be in a similar situation to me. At that point they got you.

You either pay the high price, or lose $99. Either way they win.

I needed the sink done so I moved forward, but would probably avoid going back to this company for future work and as an HOA board member would think twice about approving jobs that come up for this company without really getting another opinion. It's a shame because Chris was really great.

To the owner/management of the company. I hope the $450 was worth it.

You lost a potential new customer and a recommendation for plumbing repairs for our HOA. Highly disappointed.

Oh and by the way the job was finished in about an hour. e hired Thousand Oaks plumbing to send someone out to assess a plumbing backup in our downstairs Bathroom, they sent a guy who snaked out the pipes and got the water flowing again and the problem seemed like it was resolved.

But then, He told us that the bit on the end of his snake had broken off inside our sewer line and that he could not see it to get it out and he did not have a camera but could bring someone back on Tuesday to send a camera down there once again and flush the broken bit. So today he showed up with the technician with camera and I thought he was just gonna stick the camera down there and locate the broken off bit and flush it out or remove it somehow.

But that is not what happened. The guy put the camera down there and was showing me about a 1 ft piece of snake pipe attached to the bit and telling me that even though it was within arms reach he could not get his arm down there to pull it out, and furthermore whoever built these homes where we live had incorrectly routed the sewer line so it would be necessary to dig out our brand new pavers on our front porch so he could get the snake and bit out and then redo the sewer line route down there which would cost $3200.00.

But he said he would put our initial fee of $168.00 towards the cost as well as throw in the installation of our new toilet. So, essentially what I was being told is that the 1st guy that came out charged $168.00 to clear the clog in the sewer line but now we would have to pay $3200.00, We needed new faucets for our sinks and built in spa tub in our master bathroom.

We called T.O. Plumbing and set up a consult to install.

The only hitch in the process, was that once we'd decided that they were going to handle the work, I left a message to tell Robert who wrote our quote, that we were great to start Monday, but they never got back to me and showed up Monday morning, and we had to rush to get stuff ready. Luckily it didn't take too long to get the place ready for them, and they were super patient.

We went to Ferguson plumbing supply in Newbury Park to buy the fixtures, and everything we were supplied was perfect. Alex & team installed the faucets into the sinks with no issues.

He had a really small access point to get into the tub, and was thinking he might have to cut more tile to access the pipes that needed removing, but he managed to avoid that. He also managed to fix an issue where the thickness of the fiberglass on the underside of the tub was different and he found a solution to be able to install the tub handles and faucet properly and firmly, despite the setback.

In addition, they fixed a leak in our downstairs sink where one of the drains was leaking into the cabinet, and replaced four angle stops on our upstairs sinks but only charged us for two of them. They were clean, tidy, polite, efficient, and really good at explaining everything.

The work was great and despite the lapse in communication up front, I'd have them back again in a heartbeat. Alejandro Meneses from Thousand Oaks Plumbing came right away to install/ replace 2 old sprinkler solenoids and to fix a cracked solenoid.

He completed the job in a very timely manner. When he arrived, he explained why he was here and what he intended to do, and how long it would take.

Once completed , he took me to see the work, demonstrated that the new solenoids and the cracked solenoid was fixed and worked. Great job! These guys and this company are the BEST! Unfortunately the leak technician specialist (Brad) was incorrect.

He mentioned that the leak was in the cement under the sink but it wasn't. He spent a few hours looking for the water line...

made some holes in the walls but not knowledgeable. Ended up saying it was his best "guess".

Waste time and my money. Find another company.

Personal plumber came out and was able to find the leak and it was above cement. Mentioned that it will take about 1-2 hrs fixing it.

Will be fixing it in the morning. Javier did our pluming last minute and he did a good job amazing service.

He suggested to change our toilet for better I couldn't be happier with Alberto, we have used him for 20 years and I would consider him the best in the business! On time, knows the plumbing of the house. Quality work and clean up.

T O plumbing were given a chance as a contractor and the business proved to be extremely dishonest and will rip you off anyway they can. The plumbers are not experienced and the office is deceptive.

The quotes are inaccurate just to reel you in as a customer and then they find additional issues. After going over the requirements per the write up, the job was not done as promised and they did not put in new copper 12 inch pipes but reused old ones.

Two weeks to complete a small job after sending in ten people to work on the job and experiencing unnecessary delays, we still overpaid and are very unsatisfied! The takeover of this previously reputable business has not served the customer well. Alex was exceptional.

Professional, courteous, knowledgable, dedicated, and technically proficient. The call was to replace our guestroom's water value, lines, and toilet.

Alex immediately noticed the toilet lid was defective and unable to fit on the tank properly. He disassembled the new toilet and repacked it in the box for return shipping.

TO Plumbing came the next day and looked at the plumbing above, but they did not find the problem, told us they couldn't get new hardware, left us still without water (no sense of urgency), and quoted $3,200 for the repair. By contrast, our great handyman quickly found the leak, allowing us to turn the house water back on, and the total repair ended up costing $650, using hardware we easily found online.

We were not impressed with TO Plumbing. Mark was our plumber and he was great.

On time, clean and he was able to clear on stoppage. Very knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell you on work you didn't need.

From what I can see, the only legitimate work they did was a couple of copper pipe welds, two valves, and about 2' of copper pipe, parts not worth more than $50. Work was less than 2-3 hours.

My father and mother are in their 80's and they were distraught after paying $3000 on a leaky sink call. The pipes were clogged up and needed simple cleaning/replacement.

They upsold them on BS and charged them for barely any work and materials. There was absolutely no need for a camera on this job, it was a sink clog and then a simple spout replacement.

A very small job that should have cost no more than $500 on the high end. This company is very bad.

I might even say the C word. The worse I have ever seen.

And I don't want to hear from these people here, unless you refund my parents what you took from them. I checked their surveillance cameras, and before he drove away this guy was taking pictures of these welds on the spout.

Why? It was too simple of a job to be taking vanity pictures. Obviously they are practiced in stealing people's money.

My parents are elderly and these people don't care either way! I am beyond pissed off! Extremely disappointed to be canceled on at the last minute. Upon their tech's suggestion, I purchased a Moen Flo leak detector (about $500) and scheduled a service to have it installed.

Since they don't work on weekends and I needed this urgently, I had to make special arrangements with my job to be free for TOP's time window. In the last hour of said window, they canceled.

And I was sort of "shamed" for being far for their usual service area. Javier, is always a pleasure to work with.
