I thought I had a small leak in the wall but after a careful inspection, he did not find one. He did see that one had been there before and went to see the possible cause of the old one.
We talked more, he checked my shower gauges and recommended we replace them so they work properly because they were not "professionally installed." It was a chafa job that I had kept up for a while. He got parts, came back and installed the new knobs.
The shower looks great now and there is not longer a tiny leak in the wall. One thing...the tech was at my house for about 60 minutes tops.
He also drove to the plumbing supply place and came back which took another 90 min or so. I was charged 350 for labor for 1 hr of actual work and 1.5 hrs of driving.
If the job wasn't done so well I would have scoffed at the expense. It is still a little expensive for the amount of work done.
I can't agree that the drive time is charged at the same rate as the actual work being done. Great plumber, great work but the labor charge was a bit unfair in my eyes.

We just had these people back because our kitchen garbage disposal wasn't working very well. Very little food was making it out of the unit.
I had read online that we probably needed to snake the drain but the plumber said that with the age of our disposal (19 years), he didn't think snaking would solve the problem and thought that a replacement unit was the way to go. After 19 years that made sense.
And he was right! Replacing the unit solved all our problems. I also checked afterward and saw that the price he charged for the unit itself was very little more than I would have paid online, and the labor charge was also less than I expected :-).
Really, this is one of the most positive plumbing experiences I've ever had. He was prompt and friendly and cleaned everything up afterward, and the price was really good.

Im a Realtor and my clients had a situation where they needed to make a repair quickly prior to close of escrow. It was an issue with the water heater.
Sierra Pacific was quick to respond and had excellent communication throughout the entire process of coordinating and scheduling the repair. They even came in $200 under the estimate that they had quoted me based on our inspection report.

The technician that they sent out was Jeff. He was polite, friendly and efficient.
He found the problems quickly, went to get a few parts, and was right back. He explained everything, what I might need in the future, and cleaned up the areas when he was done.
Great job! He parked in front of my house, and it was trash pick up day. I thought he was far enough away from the cans, and told him so.
But, they wouldn't pick up. I yelled to the trash guy to stop.
Jeff heard me, ran out the door, but the trash truck was gone. Jeff grabbed the can, and ran so fast 2 doors down, caught the truck, brought the can back empty and pulled it down my driveway.
He was gone @ 2 minutes. Who does that? I thanked him so much.

Greg is a plumbing wizard and you probably shouldn't call anyone else. If you have a Takagi tankless water heater, you DEFINITELY shouldn't call anyone else.
We have had Sierra replace a sewer line, and then to fix a running toilet. They are responsive, answer all our questions, and have done quality work at a reasonable price.
I recommend Sierra for residential plumbing service. I was referred to Sierra Pacific Plumbing from a contractor that was helping with my commercial Lash studio in Alhambra.
I was having challenges passing the fire inspection and was in need of a licensed plumber for a water heater that needed permits from an existing job. I called and spoke to Judy.
She was patient and listened to my situation. She was very kind in offering a couple solutions.

We had been using Pasadena Plumbing and had been happy with them, but health issues are plaguing them so we tried SP Plumbing after reading great reviews. I don't know the name of the guy (husband dealt with him), but he was prompt, wrote out a detailed invoice, got everything completed in a timely fashion, and was reasonably priced.
So thankful that they did a great job with short notice--came out a few hours after we called. Needed new sink installed and sink stoppers fixed.

Greg was actually recommended from the water heater manufacturing company (Takagi) and I could tell right away, that compared to other plumbers we have had, that he knew what he was doing. Unlike the other plumbers that gave us estimates and wanted to completely change out our whole tankless water heater, Greg quickly discovered the problem was simply with really high gas pressure coming into the house.
He recommended that we call the gas company who came out and fixed the gas pressure fro free. Now our water heater works perfectly! There is nothing wrong with it! Greg saved us from being scammed by another company who wanted to change out our whole water heater system for almost $3,000! Thank you Greg! Greg even suggested some things we could do ourselves to save money.

However, below was my experience. Had them come out for a clogged drain.
Tech recommended getting a $3,000 upgrade in pipes, underground, under our house. Left without even giving me a quote on the clogged drain.
In his defense he mention he was worried his equipment would burst my old, iron pipes. I went to Home Depot and rented a Snake.
Did the work myself without any problems. I am a novice and took my time feeding/using the snake.
I am not saying he was only trying to "up sell" me to the tune of $3000, but my drain is clear w/o his help and w/o a $3000 bill. We've used Sierra Pacific for three jobs now and they've all been fantastic.
I won't hesitate to call them again. They repiped water lines from galvanized steel to copper and installing new gas lines, fixed leaks, and installed a new sump pump and sewer line cleanout.
I've worked with both Greg and Jeff who have been very professional and easy to work with. Prices are competitive too.

We have unfortunately had to use a plumber 3 times now- the first 2 times, Sierra Pacific Plumbing really got us out of a bind. The first time our tankless water heater stopped working and on a friend's referral we used their plumber who came out removed the heater and then quoted us a crazy price- rather than ask if he could remove the heater- he then proceeded to say he wouldn't put the heater back up without payment...my husband found sierra on yelp- we called, Judy called back right away, gave me her personal cell number so we could facetime to get this fixed as soon as possible- they worked with us, called the heater company and we found out we were still under warranty so a new heater was replaced and we only paid for labor.
Second time we have roots growing in our pipes and called Sierra to do a hydrojet- they don't do it so we called another plumber who didn't bother to get a camera in like we requested to see if a hydrojet was necessary- just came in and hydrojetted- when the worker put a camera in AFTER- he said we had a "belly" and the problem would cost thousands, we requested actual recorded footage, he said manager would come back later to give us camera footage on a drive...they left and didn't return to collect a check or get us footage. We called Sierra and they ran a camera through, said there was no "belly" and an annual clean up of the roots would be more productive than the $1,000's worth of work...so now we just call Sierra and skip all the other bull- plus Jeff has been so nice- he's actually shown me how to change out my own house water filters so we can upkeep things on a budget- they're super honest and i like that they are a family owned company.
They did one day plumbing work at our house. The invoice is $2,088.72.
We were shocked. There were two young people worked here for one day.
Jush did a fair job, and helper was new and shadowing. When I called and asked the details of the bill, Judy Gutierrez said, oh I don't know why we charged you less than we should, let me get back to you......
We just had new wall painting done, and they made few big handprints on it. Plus there were leaking for the new shower valt they installed.
Now we just had two days plumbing work done by a different plumbing company. It is much more complicated work, including install a steam shower.
The total Bill is $900. I don't recommended Sierra Pacific plumbing for any of my friends:( I received a recommendation for Sierra Pacific from my electrician (Vega Electric) whom I really trust.
They were very professional and speedy with the job. Our traditional tank water heater busted and we had no hot water.
They were able to squeeze in an install just two days later of a tankless system. There is a wrong way and a right way to do tankless installs and this company does it the right way.
We have horrible water pressure from the city and because of where the tankless was installed we not only have fast hot water but it helped with the bad pressure to our fixtures too. Nice bonus! The company has since helped us with another issue when our kitchen sink was clogged right before we were scheduled to go on vacation.
We dealt with their on call plumber since it was 8:30 p.m. He took care of the problem quickly and we were so thankful.

Once had a pipe burst under the house got flooded. Where it was taged un safe, Greg came out to repair and made sure the clean up hazmat company did a good job before going under.
Another major water damage inside the wall of our bathroom required some lite demolition and dehumidifiers to run for almost a week to dry out mold. issues required several bids into the $ 2,800 range.
Then Greg found it was a fracture bolt that caused the leak cost to replace under $ 20.00. Our family has used Sierra Pacific Plumbing services for several years.

And also bigger things like leaks at very reasonable rates. I found them on Yelp, called them up and the receptionist was immediately responsive and though all their plumbers were already on calls, she made sure to help me as I was in an emergency.
My water heater was severely leaking from the plumbing end (if it's a specific water heater problem, then you have to go through the manufacturer first) and I'm waiting for them to come. Jeff came in less than an hour and fixed the leak.

I was quoted nearly $400 by another company listed on yelp. I scheduled an estimate with Sierra Pacific Plumbing.
Greg came out for the the estimate and took the time to explain each tasks. His quoted estimate was 1-2 hours of work which would be almost of quarter of what that other company asked for.
The next week I believe his son came out and performed all the tasks. Very happy with their work and honesty.
A few months later I was getting a brand new washer/dryer installed. I was not sure if Best Buy would able to install the unit properly so Greg offered to help with the install just in case.

Judie the owner is ARROGENT UNPROFESSIONAL and extremely RUDE. I've lived in alhambra most of my life and no wonder I've never heard of them.
I called mid-afternoon on a Friday and had to ask if I had reached the company, as the person who answered simply stated "hello" upon answering. I was told there was only one tech available and that he would probably have a full schedule, but the person would check and get back to me.
I was not asked if I would like to set up for another day nor informed if a weekend service call would be possible. I did not receive a callback but did not really expect one.
The person who answered was nice enough, but it was a disappointing service call. Greg and co.
did a fantastic job! Quick and great job. They removed our old water heater tank and capped the water and gas lines.
They gave us a quote before they came out and the final bill was actually a little lower. You don't find too many honest people these days.

I had Sierra Pacific replace my main water line. Greg was right on time and they did a nice clean job.
In addition to the main line they also replaced the sprinkler manifold and reinstalled all of the sprinkler valves. Very tough tough to get a hold of, with a website unchanged since 2003, it seems.

Took care of our extreme temperature shower and the broken tank-less water heater. I have worked with several plumbers over the years, and Sierra Pacific Plumbing way out shined all the others! I have suffered through numerous professional attempts to solve my sink drain problem, but snaking results just led to partial improvements that gradually worsened until I had to call for help again, trying a different plumber each time.
This went on for 10 years! Greg and his extremely professional and competent staff identified the sources of the problem and their results were life changing for me. The daily chore of doing dishes after cooking for my family is soooooo much easier, and almost enjoyable! :) At least I don't have to worry about the dirty water backing up in the adjacent sink every time I run the disposer, forcing me to always remove all the dishes I had washed and set aside to drip dry.
Also, my sink drains so fast and efficiently! I kind of hesitated to write this review, because I kind of wanted to keep them to myself! :) You will not be disappointed! The original plumber who installed my tankless water system didn't show for a Friday appointment. The 2nd plumber I got to come on Saturday was able to tell me it was the unit and therefore a warranty issue; but then the company was closed till Tuesday.
But one of the numbers I got was to the manufacturer's rep and he called Greg at Sierra Pacific Plumbing. Even though it was early afternoon on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, Greg came out, checked out the unit and miraculously had the replacement parts.
He made a few calls to assure the warranty would be honored for the parts and then quickly set about changing it all out. After 7 days I finally have hot water again!!! Greg was professional, knowledgeable and respectful, taking the time to answer and explain my numerous questions.

He was able to unclog our sewer line, install a new Grohe temperature valve in the shower and clear out a lodged clean-out brass cap in the common line of our HOA. Previously the Rooter company that was brought in to clear the clean-out was suggesting to jack-hammer the hardwood floor in one of the units in order to get to the problem.

I was working out of state..a pipe burst under the house..luckily my neighbor shut off the main valve to the house..when I returned I looked for a Local Plumbing service..I decided to go with Sierra Pacific..and glad I did...they came out within the hour..replaced two copper pipes under the house with couplings(they had to Solder them) and had me up and running in 3 hours..Jeff was very efficient and really knows his craft...if you need Pumbing service Sierra is it..You will not be disappointed... I was having some problems with temperature fluctuation on my tankless water heater.
Called another plumber out who said a clean/flush of the heater would solve the problem. It didn't solve it and seemed to make it worse.
The first plumber sent me to Sierra Pacific. Greg figured out quickly that the tub filler was clogged.

I had been searching for somebody to service my Eternal Tankless water filter for weeks. After one plumber from another company came and made the problem worse, I was referred to Greg by Snyder Diamond.
Eternal made Greg's job very difficult requesting photos and various additional informational, because they did not want to honor my warranty. Greg and his wife, Judy, took care of everything from A to Z.
They called and followed-up with the manufacturer to get us our new and free tankless quickly. Even with the additional problem (Eternal shipped the product in a gigantic palette and Fedex refused to deliver it), Greg on his off hours got a truck and picked it up the same day as promised.
Judy followed-up with me every step of the way and really understood the urgency of not having hot water. I never had to chase her and extra plus, she has the most pleasant demeanor.
