Just as the first time Joseph did the installation quickly and all while being very careful with everything he did. He always is very tidy and does his work with the least amount of interruption as possible.

After all my efforts to fix a slow draining toilet failed, it was time to call a plumber. I called Mattucci because they advertise in our church bulletin.

The person who answered the phone was friendly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Our plumber, Rudy, arrived on time.

He first thought we had a partial clog and said it would be $150 to run the auger through the toilet. The auger did not make the toilet drain any faster.

Undaunted, Rudy put on a jumpsuit and went under the house to inspect the pipes. The house pipes were properly plumbed and Rudy showed me pictures.

Because the pipes were not the problem Rudy said we needed a new toilet. I ordered a 1.28 gpf Toto Ultramax II online for $577 via Build.com.

Mattucci did not charge us for the unsuccessful auger, only $250 for the under house pipe inspection. The next day, Rudy went and picked up our new toilet in Carson, no charge, and brought it to our house.

He removed the old toilet (a 17 year old Toto Carlyle) and we immediately saw the problem: a stalactite of weird ossified you-know-what partially blocking the old toilet's plastic drain adaptor, probably caused in part by the use of flushable wipes. Don't use flushable wipes.

Get a bidet toilet seat like a Toto K300 or, our choice, an Alpha UX Pearl. But I digress.

Rudy took the old toilet out and dollied it away, along with the hideous plastic drain adaptor. He brought in the new toilet, grabbed a new wax ring from his truck and installed the new toilet - right on the money first time.

Rudy hooked up the new braided steel water supply line, installed the toilet seat that came with the toilet, turned on the water and confirmed no leaks then ran a bead of caulk around the base of the toilet. He packed up his tools and the box the new toilet came in, wheeled the old toilet out to his truck and loaded it and the packaging up.

Easy peasy (for me, not for Rudy; the old toilet - a one-piece Toto - was a heavy porcelain beast). The new toilet is fantastic, flushes like a dream and uses less water than the 1.6 gpf Carlyle.

Also, the Ultramax we ordered is ADA compliant, so the seat height is an inch and a half higher - easier and more comfy for us old folks. Total price for all that service - fetching the new toilet, uninstalling the old toilet, unpacking and installing the new toilet, hauling away the old toilet along with all the packaging - $400.

Such a deal. I recommend Mattucci Plumbing and will definitely call them when we have another plumbing problem.

A 5 star company, and solid service rep.. Victor came out to my house to repair my sump pump and to change a valve that was old and worn out ; he explained the problem to me, and sought my permission to go purchase a new valve mechanism at the plumbing supply company; after I approved it, Victor quickly went to obtain the part and returned 45 minutes later, changed out the bad valve for the new valve and presented me with an invoice and a guarantee; Everything went better than I could've ever expected, and the price was very fair ! I would recommend Mattucci Plumbing to anyone who needs a professional plumbing contractor.

FANTASTIC service. We had what we thought was a basic clogged kitchen sink, however after multiple attempts to clear it (including using another local plumber who didn't have the right equipment), with dishes piling up and relatives flying in for the holidays, we decided to give Mattucci a call.

An appointment was quickly and efficiently scheduled (no answerphones, requests for texts etc.), and less than 24 hours later Rudy Perez came to our rescue! His service was outstanding, he was incredibly polite/courteous, he cleaned up thoroughly and when we realized that the scope of the issue was bigger than anticipated (required a 100' snake going through most of the house), Rudy cleared his schedule to help. The price was reasonable and we'll absolutely be using them again.

I remodeled my kitchen and my drain pipe in the wall for the kitchen sink had to be repositioned 3.5" lower. I had scheduled an appointment over the weekend for a plumber to come out on Monday.

When he showed up he told me the work that needed to be done, but I thought what he was asking for cost-wise was way too high so I reached out to Mattucci. Within ONE HOUR one of their technicians was at my house.

He assessed the situation and also indicated the pipe had to be repositioned and had to crack open the exterior wall. However, his price was much more reasonable and within the scope of the project.

Within a couple of hours he was done and everything was perfect. Cannot recommend this service more.

I just want to know what is involved in fixing assorted issues down the road. Not knowing anyone in the area, I turned to Yelp and thought I'd give Mattucci Plumbing a shot.

Keep in mind, any plumbing business can send a plumber out to give an opinion. Since that plumber is not actually fixing anything, you may not know until you actually go to fix it if they were wrong.

Anyway, Mario was who they sent out and he was great. He was kind of, "Hey, let's go throw a pressure gauge on the hose bib" and "Let's go lay eyes on the tankless water heater".

The attitude was great, my confidence in his opinion was high. He was THINKING and MAKING SUGGESTIONS instead of just sort of wondering how little work he can do to move on to the next call.

When I buy this house, Matucci is who I will be calling. Tyler was on time and awesome.

On the positive side the reps who came to our house, Andres and Julian, were very nice. That's the extent of the "nice" in my experience with Mattucci.

Andres surveyed our issue and we agreed on a solution and how to repair and reroute a pipe. I was told they would either call with an estimate that night or email it to me the next day.

Long story short, I finally got the estimate one week later and only after several calls on my part and being berated for not paying an "open invoice" which by the way I had never received. They finally send the phantom invoice for $250 via email and I was told "...they expected payment by the end of the day" so I called, paid via credit card and waited for the estimate to be emailed.

Still no estimate. The last call I made was from out of the country and luckily the operations manager answered the phone and he pulled up the estimate and emailed it right away.

It had been sitting on their system and they obviously just wanted my $250 and were holding the estimate. Their estimate was over $4,500 higher than the other estimate I received.

The plumber I chose has sterling referrals from people I trust. Great prompt service.

Muttucci is incredible every time I call for plumbing issues. David Hernandez was fast and efficient fixing a clogged bathroom drain.

Would highly recommend this company. Long overdue, but we had a late night emergency and everyone we called in the area couldn't help immediately, and we had sewage coming up in the tub and toilets were overflowing.

One call to Mattucci and within an hour we had someone come out to help with situation. I wish I remembered his name but he was super helpful and explained everything he was doing in detail.

Will use them again if we ever need a plumber that's not covered by our warranty. I've called for Mattucci Plumbing twice this year and both times they have been great! The first time around late Jan they were able to come at 10pm for a emergency service (our main pipe was backed up and water wouldn't go down in any of the toilets and sinks).

The second time was in late August for a bathroom and kitchen sink clog. They were able to fix the problem both times, price was fair and affordable, and the service time was relatively quick (about a hour each time) .

Donald to the rescue! My family and I are very grateful to Mattucci Plumbing especially with their specialist Donald. We called around and no one wanted to inspect our water heater because it was more than 6 years old.

One company wanted to charge us more than $90 just to come out and tell us what the problem was. I called Mattucci Plumbing on Monday and on Tuesday they sent Donald to checkout what was going on with our water heater.

He addressed the issue and within a short time we had hot water again (hurray!). I definitely recommend them and I will be calling them first if I have any future water heater problems.

A routine plumbing job of installing a natural gas seismic shut-off valve turned into a critical plumbing job to stop a water leak under my house, as discovered by Rudy at Mattucci Plumbing. Immediately after arriving at my home, Rudy informed me that my water heater's constant running sound, which was loudly emanating out of the crawl space vents, was not normal.

He promptly went under the house and there found a leaking water pipe, that was causing the water heater to constantly work to heat up the incoming and then quickly draining water supply. Since my house still had the original galvanized steel pipes dating from when it was built in 1948, it was high time to replace these antiques with copper piping.

I found Rudy's quoted price to be very reasonable, so he proceeded to assemble a team of six plumbers who were able to come a few days later. They had the repiping job completed, amazingly, in one's day time.

I am very grateful to Rudy and utterly impressed by his expertise, efficiency, punctuality, reliability, and great kindness. He always patiently and clearly explained my plumbing problems.

We had a back-up problem with drainage on the outside of our home. Due to some mystery blockage somewhere in the exterior pipes, water was pooling upstream alongside our home and leaking into an area of our basement.

Joseph (our plumber tech assigned to the case) patiently took a few different approaches, and with state-of-the art sensors and cameras, he was able to locate the specific area of blockage and determine the exact cause. Mattucci had a variety of snakes types with different heads to bore through a root system that had penetrated our exterior drainage pipes.

The root system in our pipes was extensive. Mattucci went to the next level and brought in a hydro-jet system complete with their own water tanks.

At the end of the day, the exterior drainage pipe system was spotless; no roots and no debris. Joseph ran a camera through the pipes and I was able to observe the interior or the pipes on a monitor.

This was helpful to review the work that was just completed, but more importantly, the camera helped me understand the areas of the pipe system that were susceptible to future root invasion. From this internal examination of our exterior drainage pipes, I was able to develop an annual maintenance plan to avoid a future back-up and water overflow situation.

Many plumbing problems in the home can be a mystery in terms of locating the specific area to remedy. Typically, the problem is hidden and involves creative ways to get to the spot, or removal of material to access the area needing repair.

Mattucci Plumbing is awesome! Tyler is The Man!!! Not only is he the most efficient, hard-working plumber, he is just all-around a great guy to have in your corner! He really worked with me to be cost-conscious, as I was preparing my mother's house for sale. It was an older house that needs a lot of work, but he really helped keep the focus on the things that would be the most beneficial insofar as the inspection and the sale price of the home was concerned.

He was on-time, kept me informed every step of the way, offering options +/-, his honest opinion and took detailed photos and video -- even under the house. A very detailed invoice with all the photos (before and after) will be sent to you the next day.

I happen to notice soap suds coming out while on the spin cycle while doing laundry. Some ran down the side wall near the mess.

I may have used a little extra soap. This never happens as I am a person that uses very little soap as I know what can happen.

I called Mattucci as i have had them out before. They originally were supposed to come between 3 and 5 but the dispatcher said he could come sooner.

It was great as i needed to wash clothes. Eric promptly showed up and was very nice! He snaked the line and checked everything out.

Our toilet and shower got backed up in the middle of the night. It was already 10PM, we tried solving it on our own but it was not working .

One was a renovation of our washer valves, installation of a flood safety attachment to the washer valve and our brand new kitchen faucet. All of these projects were quick and we haven't encountered any issues during or after the completion of it.

Victor was very knowledgeable as he told us if there was going to be any foreseeable issues with the product that we installed and what to look for in the future to maintain his work. And for the efficiency the cost was very reasonable for the excellent quality of service.

I called Mattucci because I observed a leak adjacent to the back wall of my house in the planting bed. The planting bed was full of water.

For many many years, I've been using Mattuci for our plumbing needs whenever we've had anything seriously concerning happening in the house. Although higher priced than most other companies, I've always found them to be polite and professional, and in the past - great problem solvers.

After I had my Gardener check that it wasn't a sprinkler leak, I called them. They came and said leak was coming from under the slab and that I should use the leak detection company they always use- Goldak.

So I scheduled with Goldak who charges $350 which is more than another company's quote, but Mattucci said that is who they use, so I did. Goldak came and supposedly identified the leaky pipe.

The plan was to cap off that pipe and reroute a new pipe on the outside of the house so we wouldn't have to destroy my family room with a fairly new wood floor. M came back and capped off the pipe, making a hole in my family room wall and also in the stucco outside to where it leads.

After doing so, they found that water was still running, so apparently this wasn't the correct pipe! Now, two pipes have been cut off without knowing exactly what this is effecting in the house. One of the lines goes to the upstairs bathroom and as the pipe has now been cut and I needed running water in the bathroom, he ends up reconnecting just one of the pipes back.

The plumber runs out of time as his day is over at 5 and he has gone over. We still don't know where the leak is coming from at this time.

No one to ask at the office what the plan of action is. He's off the next day so the next morning, M sends an assistant tech to look into it.

Still no answers. Then, that afternoon, an experienced plumber is sent to assess .

So far three different people and still no answers. They ask me to get the leak detection company back and see if the leak is somewhere else.

Meanwhile, it turns out the line that was capped outside leads to the cold water line in the kitchen island so no cold water at the kitchen sink . This was discovered by me in the evening, not by the experienced plumber.

Leak detection comes back, and identifies a new pipe as the possible source. This would involve making yet another hole in the wall to repair.

At this point, I'm hesitant to keep making holes in walls. What if he's wrong again? I read on Next Door about whole house reposting of pipes, and I'm curious.

The weekend arrives. Tuesday is when one of the senior plumbers( the fourth tech so far )comes and offers no definitive plan.

At this point, I want everything returned to the way it was and am in total confusion as to how to proceed. I decide that rather than continuing to make random holes all over my house, and still possibly not have a solution, I will look into getting my pipes coated, which M does not do.

We are into the following week now and I receive a bill for over $1000 from M for the exploratory work they did. I call them to restore my pipes, so that I can have cold water in my kitchen and an appointment is made for today.

In the morning, I receive a call from the operations manager that their techs are not willing to come out to my property. ( He had reassured me several times in past two weeks that they will figure this out) What? So the pipes are cut off, there are two holes in both the interior and exterior of the house , and they wanted to cut a third one, yet they don't want to restore the pipes they cut? On top of that, I need to drywall, stucco, and paint to fix the walls.

Also , make no mistake, they were going to be charging me again to uncap the pipes that they mistakenly cut. All the technicians were polite.

I was polite, despite my frustration and confusion. We had no back and forth words at all.

Yet the manager is actually saying the techs don't want to come to our property. They don't want to come, or does the company just want to wash its hands of it , and leave me with disconnected pipes? This is not the Mattucci of yesteryear.

It's sad that with the owner's illness, it's come to this. We detected a water leak issue yesterday morning.

Called Mattucci after four other plumbing firms could not confirm we could be serviced same day. Mattucci was available and serviceman Donald immediately found the source of the leak in the wall.

Leak was fixed and we are happy. Thank you Donald and Mattucci Plumbing.

Andres and his helper came out and did an outstanding job! I had leak from the second story tub/shower, which I thought was the drain. I was worried this might be a $600 repair.

Andres first determined it was not the drain, but it looked like the shower connection was bad. Well, more tests, and he found it was a bad tub spout that only leaked with the shower engaged.

They were there about 1 hour and only charged me $150! Of course I was happy about that! Thanks guys! Professional and experienced. David Sanchez Hernandez is the plumber who did the inspection and fixed the problem.

A vehicle collided into my nextdoor neighbors home, causing a break in their main water line. My neighbors, who are Korean, asked for some help in getting their water line fixed.

I have always heard good things about Mattucci Plumbing, but never had used them. So we decided to have them come out and fix the break and get their water flowing.

The plumber that was assigned to the repair was Joseph. He arrived in less than 30 minutes and was able to assess the break and come up with a game plan to address the beak.

Joseph was extremely friendly, polite, professional and patient. He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and the most effective & efficient way to fix the problem.

The final bill was VERY reasonable too! A win win... Not only did Joseph do an outstanding job, but he also pointed out the poorly designed old piping job and modified it, which will pretty much eliminate the potential for a vehicle to make contact with the pipe in the future.

This minor, no cost, change was just an example of a great employee, who cares and takes pride in his work. Plus it speaks volumes for the company as great employees are usually a representation of a well run company.

Needless to say, choosing Mattucci plumbing did not disappoint us and I would highly recommend them and Joseph for any plumbing needs. Victor and the rest of the crew were very efficient and so was able to do the job as scheduled.

Punctual both when arriving to give an estimate and actual repair. Our plumber, Mario, did a fantastic job and was mindful in placing a work mat on the carpet when he took out a portion of the wall to gain access.

A few weeks ago, in the height of the quarantine, our 1st floor ceiling started to drip water! After turning the water off (and thankfully the dripping stopped), we searched for a plumbing service to come out that day and fix this problem - no water in a pandemic is not a good situation. Luckily enough after an on-line search we found upon Mattucci Plumbing.

They set up a time and promptly showed up. Victor, was dressed for the occasion; gloves, masks and booties! After a bit of head scratching (and some holes in the ceiling), he finally isolated the issue - the piping in the 2nd floor bathroom.

The problem was getting access to it. Our home had a remodel in the 80's where a second story was put on over our slanted roof first floor.

Victor found a spot in our staircase where there was space between the floors for him to open and crawl in (see pic)! He cut an entrance, found that the original roof was still on the house between floors(!) and well as some old beer cans left by the old re-modellers. But the biggest thing was he found and fixed the leak quickly, replacing a pipe with a pinhole in it.

Victor was super nice, explained all the issues clearly before he started working on it and really got the job done while all masked up keeping him (and us) safe. Definitely would recommend Mattucci's for any issue - and ver much appreciated the care in which they did it.

Our rain shower head would not shut off one day and we had no idea what to do. Two other plumbing companies either misdiagnosed the issue or could not locate the parts.

Thank goodness we found Mattucci! Joseph not only fixed our shower but it now works better than ever. More than that, he was friendly, thorough, and incredibly flexible with our schedule.

Friendly and got right to it. My old water heater was done - 17 years old - and the water lines were ready to break.

Update I got a message right away after posting my initial disappointed review. And they are making it right things right.

They really do value their customers and the feedback. I think the lesson learned on my part is to speak up earlier if something seems wrong.

I still think it's hard for any larger company to QC check their workers and as a customer it helps to give them direct feedback because they aren't aware if mistakes happen. I have now scheduled my free estimate for the other work I'm looking at.

-- A few months ago I had a problem relighting my water heater. When I called Mattucci I was expecting a free estimate and evaluation.

They sent out a new employee who didn't have his own iPad yet. I mention this because it wasn't the person that was texting they were on his way.

He assumed I needed a new water heater which I did not but he went on to say I might need one soon because of it's age. He was able to relight my water heater for me and it took less than 15 minutes.

After that he told me the charge would be $140 as the minimum they charge to go on site to do work but then he told me he'd discount me for $99 only. I am looking into getting some other work done and was just thinking about this experience.

I feel like I was gaslighted with the "discount" price and really shouldn't have paid that amount as they are supposed to offer a free estimate up front. Anyhow I won't hire them for future work despite the other good reviews.

I can't trust they will honor what they advertise and I suspect the quality of their plumbers is really variable. Met with someone to get an estimate on Friday.

He said to expect the cost to be around $3-4k depending on what style waterless tank heater I wanted (with a pump or without) and that I should expect a formal quote by end of day. Did not receive the formal quote on Friday.

Called Saturday and was told I should receive the formal quote within 1-2 hours. Never received it.

Called Monday and they still didn't have it ready and couldn't even tell me what type of waterless tank heaters they would use so I could inform my electrician. Tuesday: received a quote for $5,500.

We have received other quotes from reputable companies that range from $2,500-3,000. Matucci does not provide competitive pricing nor does their professionalism exceed my expectations.

Service was great! He has arrived within the grace period. He was polite and professional.

Initial estimate quote was given and paid exactly what was quoted. We had clogged drain outside the house.

We are at this house few years and did not know how plumbing line ran. He used camera and the snake.

Initially, it was very challenging as it look like there was significant blockage with snake. After much effort, he was surprised that direction of our plumbing was in the unexpected direction taking few turns.

We were so glad to know which way our plumbing pipe runs out to the street. He let us watch the whole process and it was interesting to see what it looked inside our plumbing pipe.

He was able to unclog and pointed a few areas of root invasion. He has explained permanent intervention , which will be costly.

He said meantime, we may need to get snaked as problem arises. I totally understand the permanent intervention would resolve the problem, long-term.

But he was not pushy to have me do the big work right away. I will use them again if it clogs again and will have to plan for definite intervention when we can.

I had a gas leak due to corrosion in the main pipe going into my house. Let me tell you, stressful position to be in.

Realizing the danger you were in, then having to deal with gas being shut off for days on end while you talk to plumber after plumber trying to figure out exactly what's going on. This is especially difficult because it's hard to know who to believe about what needs to be done, or how much it should cost to fix it.

The estimates I got were wildly different from each other. Mattucci plumbing was one of the few that was right on the money, and gave me an honest and accurate assessment of the situation, without upselling me.

David Sanchez was punctual, reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and communicated clearly throughout the project. He even chased after the city inspectors for the permit so we can be done urgently before the heavy rain.

David, Jose, and Charile did a great job replacing my corroded pipe, worked around my schedule, and treated my home with respect throughout the job. I paid a fair price for a job done right.

Couldn't recommend them more. These guys are really good, and that statement says a lot, as I've never really had a plumber (or any kind of home fixer) that I would go on Yelp and write a review about.

In the last year or so, they have replaced my garbage disposal (twice) unclogged a dishwasher line and replaced a faucet in a bathtub. Today, I had the pleasure of working with Brandon, who was nice and super helpful in fixing the drainage from my dishwasher, even though it looks like it was my fault the drain was clogged in the first place.

Not only did Brandon not make me feel like an idiot, he gave me some tips to avoid future issues without feeling like he was talking down or patronizing me. He's a good dude who I'd welcome into my home again.

Zero stars if possible!!! Left Sewage water uncleaned in our house, DISGUSTING! Mattucci plumbing came over twice in a row (tues and then wed) to unclog our drains, the first time cleared and then it clogged back up again the next day and we called them out to clear it again. Charged for the second time.

Which, okay, fine. Few days later, it's starting to back up AGAIN and they want us to pay for another unclog + inspection that will cost another close to 400.

No warranty like other plumbing companies. They also need to train their techs to use shoe covers like any another contracting business and clean up after themselves better.

Their second tech came inside our home with his shoes on and dirtied our floors. We are a no-shoes indoors home, we have a toddler running around.

Other plumbing companies have always put on covers on their shoes out of courtesy. This guy took his shoes off only the first time he entered our house, so he definitely knew no shoes inside.

Every time after that he didn't care and just went in and out of house with his shoes on out of laziness. He also had black water dripping from our bathroom all throughout our halls when he was taking his snake machine out.

Absolutely disgusting. He took all but few seconds to wipe it all down, so I had to Clorox our floors when he left and there was still blackwater areas he missed.

So gross. Wish I would've taken pictures before I cleaned it up myself.

We just had another company snake for the third time and left no mess, put shoe covers on without me even asking, no sewage water left on our floors. Will never use you guys again.

They came out to evaluate on the same day, explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. They fixed the problem the next morning.

It required cutting an access from the exterior of the house. The technician installed a beautiful replacement faucet, then installed a metal access panel which looked like original construction.

The work was done quickly and within the estimate. As an added benefit, the technician checked my water regulator valve, which was also defective and immediately gave me an estimate to replace it.

Oscar from R&R was super professional, showed up right on time, got the job done quickly, and took the time to afterwards to explain everything he had done. The price they quoted up front was also what they charged (no unexpected up-charges), which is much appreciated.

I'll definitely be calling R&R again if I need additional plumbing help! Our water heater suddenly stopped working and we in a panic called Rafael at 11:30PM. I felt horrible calling so late but he wasn't bothered at all and agreed to come out the next day in the evening (accommodating our schedule).

He informed us that we would need a water heater (which we guessed, since it was 12 years old and we have hard water) and quoted us a reasonable price. He was able to have his guys out at our place the very next day (again, accommodating our schedule) and everything was done in 3 hours at the price he quoted.

He also replaced our toilets a few months back and honored the price he quoted at the time of my first review in 2015. Again, his guys were in and out in record time, hauled away the old toilets and cleaned everything up.

Each of the 3 times R&R has done work for us has been a stress-free experience - starting from the service, the price, and the quality of the work. 100% would recommend R&R Plumbing! We had Dan come out and fix our slab leak he was very knowledgeable and friendly , we had another quote from a plumber but Dan beat the price , we will be using R&R Plumbing again if we need them Rafael and his crew were fantastic and i would recommend them for any and all plumbing issues.

Mine was a big one that involved cutting through concrete in the house and digging out 2 huge areas in the back yard in order to replace more than 30 feet of pipe. They were on time, skilled, polite and thorough.

I would highly, highly recommend this company. This is an INEPT and FRAUDULENT operation you must stay away from.

They were asked to unclog a bathroom sink. The plumber who came to my unit failed to shut off the plumbing and water in the connected pipe and therefore caused flooding into my vanity destroying nearly $5000 worth of personal property as well as a brand new custom vanity that was built in late 2020.

The supervisor who came to see the damages and photograph and document everything left the wet items on my cement floor which in turn damaged the floor which is going to be an added $1000 of cost at a minimum. They initially claimed that they were going to deliver a check for the damages including the repair of the vanity and my personal property and the floor.

About an hour after the time that the check was supposed to be dropped off I got notified that they're going to go through their insurance. Their insurance carrier is just as fraudulent as them and is failing to pay for the damages.

This is in addition to the fraud that they committed in their accounting. My building is secure and we have cameras.

The plumber claims that he was in my unit for two hours unclogging a sink. It was a lie.

When I checked with the building security and the cameras he was in my unit all of at most 40 minutes. R&R is a business you want to stay away from and run for the hills.

They are a nightmare. They will defraud you at every corner.

They will do an inept job. And they will not stand by their negligence at the end of the day.

I highly recommend that you look for another plumber and avoid this business at all costs. Kenny was awesome today.

These guys got it down! Shout out to Gustavo and Freddie for the work they did on our flat yesterday. Asking any company to replace all of your faucets and angle is nerve racking - but I suspected R & R would be able to handle the job.

I was correct. From my first emails describing what was needed to the end of the job, R & R was transparent with regard to cost (even guiding me through buying some of the parts myself via Amazon to reduce costs) and keep us apprised as to what they were doing each step of the way.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with the previous good reviews here or on Nextdoor. I chose R&R based on their good reviews and many statements that they were honest and would not try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs.

I called R&R for a main sewer line stoppage. This was after I had hired and paid another plumber two months earlier to do the exact same work.

Needless to say, the other plumber's work was less than stellar since the main line backed up again in 2 months. R&Rs technicians snaked the main line and said they weren't able to clear the roots completely and that he sewer line pipes were misaligned at the point of blockage.

They didn't know how long their work would keep the sewer line open, unless I had the line dug up where the supposed misalignment was, have the roots cleared from there, and realign the pipes. For this they wanted around $2,500.

This quote did not include lining the pipe which was one of the key services they said was needed, but according to the written quote that would be an additional cost over and above the $2500. The main sewer line backed up again ONE WEEK after R&R worked to clear the roots.

ONE WEEK! I was skeptical of the work they recommended so I called a neighborhood plumber to ask his opinion. Not only did he feel the work was uncalled for, he cleared the line of all roots after working at it for just half an hour.

The photos he showed me of the now cleared main line were very different than the ones showing lots of roots in the photos which R&R showed me after they supposedly worked on the line and couldn't clear it. It looks like others have had way better experiences with R&R Plumbing than me, but I advise that you proceed with caution if they tell you the problem can only be fixed by expensive repairs.

I got absolutely no value for the money they charged me to "clear the sewer line" -- If I could give them a "0" rating I would. I called R&R plumbing and I'm glad I did.

I had a super high water bill for months. I called three plumbers beforehand and none of them found the problems.

I knew something was wrong because of the water bill. I wound Up needing a water heater and a new pipe.

The water bill went down and I am very pleased. I highly recommend this company.

First time I had them clear out a drain in the bathroom. Price was fair and Rafael and his assistant arrived at the promised time and did the work very professionally.

Second time, I called a couple of times to try and get an estimate for a water heater installation. No one answered and the voicemail was full so I couldn't leave a message.

I called again about an hour later and got a hold of someone. The base estimate price I was quoted was $900.

I decided to go with another plumber. We called the apartment manager at 10 am to report a clog toilet, he called R & R for service they said they would be there.

We did not get service until after 7:45pm, the owner arrived with an attitude. I stated that we had waited all day and that was not the first time they had been slow to response and that he knew that there was an elderly woman living in that apartment .

Needless to say he was very rude, he acted as though he was doing me a favor instead of performing a service which he was being paid for. I refuse to ever use this company.

I have stated to the apartment manger that I would rather pay out of pocket than to have this man service us. I have two heavy traffic facilities complete with kitchens.

First time I had a problem, a big one, I called R&R because they were local. The problem was a lot bigger than I perceived but the guys handled it efficiently and cleaned up.

I have called on Rafael and team 6 times in the past two years. He is always service oriented and prices fairly.

My plumbing may give me trouble but R&R never has and that is appreciated. I just had an emergency plumbing call (bathtub faucet was frozen OPEN - *super* exciting) and Raphael came out and got everything working again like a dream.

I recently bought a triplex with my girlfriend, making us first time homeowners and landlords. Along the way there have been many growing pains, but Rafael and R&R Plumbings Services is NOT one of them.

Our tenants recently complained about a backed up toilet, among other slow drains in the house. We scrambled immediately to find a reputable plumber who could come out on very short notice.

After speaking with Rafael, he offered to come by right away. He was at the property within a half an hour, and had identified the problem shortly after.

We had him install a clean out and clear the drain the next day (which happened to be a Sunday). The price was more than fair and the work was great! We've called him a couple other times for similar problems in other units and he has always come through.

Texted him a friendly reminder the next day but never got a response. It's been over a week now and they've cashed our check so at this point, I'm updating this review to its appropriate one star.

They definitely overcharged for the service, wasted a collectively 10+ hours of my wife/my time and completely set the wrong expectations. Not a good way to run a business.

Picture this: The Sunday before Christmas Eve, my tenants called to tell me the kitchen sink is leaking under the sink and they can't get it to stop.

They were in the middle of cooking their holiday meal and family was arriving. Not only did we need the problem resolved because it was Christmas but we didn't want water damage.

I searched quickly to find a plumber that would respond on a holiday weekend. I called a different company and was told they would contact me to give me a response time window.

I waited two hours but never received a call. I hit the internet again.

I called several different companies but R & R answered right away. It was 2 pm and he said they can be there between 3 pm - 5 pm.

I immediately received an email and text confirmation with the name of the technician responding. Tom arrived quickly and fixed the problem.

He then called me and explained what went wrong with the sink. Tom was professional, quick but efficient and my tenant's Christmas was able to move forward.

There aren't enough ways to say how professional, friendly, and great they are. Okay, not to be scatological or anything, and I know I usually stick to focusing on food-going-in (versus what happens as it goes out :-), but Stewart Plumbing merits a mention, so here goes...

I had a bit of a drain issue... Shockingly, my landlord didn't invest in a disposal that can actually "dispose of all" unused vegetable detritus.

I mean, you have one steamed artichoke on a Sunday night, toss a few leaves in the sink, and wind up with a nice little pool of stagnant water in your kitchen. I thought about buying some Koi fish and seeing how far that went, but decided against it.

The Koi deserve better. Anyway, the Stewart guys came, did a great job and then also checked out the bathtub drain for me.

I wasn't in the bathroom, so I'm not sure what happened, but somehow a key piece came off the showerhead when they were rinsing down the tub after finishing up, which is a pretty nice thing to do. (Note: I've had other plumbers leave footprints in the tub and never think to give it a rinse.) Now here is where it gets interesting (I realize I'm still talking about plumbing, so "interesting" is a relative term, but this is about honor people!!).

After the guys left, I discovered just how "key" the part was. My shower head was now spraying water out the side, giving my shower wall a nice, energetic massage.

So I called Stewart Plumbing and told them the issue, since I do prefer to shower on the daily. (Fine, it's every other day.) Here's the thing; maybe the guys had accidentally broken the piece, or maybe the piece come off entirely by happenstance.

Regardless, the lovely outcome is that the Stewart guys didn't care how it had happened; they just wanted to come help me get it fixed and make sure I was a satisfied, and squeaky clean, customer. So they replaced the broken piece and came out to fix it themselves.

SINGLE WOMEN BEWARE. I have had two bad interactions with Stewart Plumbing.

Years ago, while soldering during a water heater installation in my home, their plumber damaged a cabinet. When I informed them of this, the person they sent to check on it first tried to suggest that the damage wasn't from the soldering, then acknowledged it was, sanded the bubbled paint, and said someone would return to repaint.

Although I called several times to request that that happen, no one ever took me seriously and no one ever returned to repaint. Years later and at a new house a few weeks ago, I was in a pinch and -- having forgotten the first experience -- phoned them while waiting for my home warranty plan person to call me back.

The person there counseled me that the home warranty people would likely talk me into services far above the $75 payment required and that they -- Stewart -- would not talk me into unnecessary services, so I cancelled the other and had Stewart come. Then I got a bill for $202.

When I expressed my concern and frustration, they said they couldn't compete with $75. Ultimately, they knocked $46 off, but had nothing to say about the damage they never repaired at my other home.

I got their name from Grohe to fix our shower faucet. They were super responsive and came out the next day.
