The toilet needed an internal rebuild due to a faulty fill valve. New Pro's plumber tried to charge me $800 for the work when the work should not cost more than $225.
After some negotiations, he backed down to $400 but still it was too high and I politely declined to do the work. Guess what? My original plumber just got the work done and charged me $225.
I called these plumbers because my roof deck was flooded and leaks were coming into my house. I needed the drain unblocked and to understand where the water was getting into the house.
It was peak Covid in 2020 so a tiny bit of extra to come out made sense but they charged us $1250 to basically unclog a drain. They could NOT identify the source of the leak, even though that is why I specifically asked them to come out.
Miguel was absolutely fantastic. He was very professional, timely, kind, and super knowledgeable.
He fixed a main line back up on our house. 10/10 recommend Miguel.

Had a great experience with New Pro Plumbing today. Miguel was running a little late for the appointment, but was communicative and professional and when he arrived he listened to my laundry list of issues (we have an office that had a handful of non-emergency issues) and quickly got to work assessing the situation, providing quotes for each job, and getting each repaired beyond our satisfaction in a timely fashion.
He even left to get materials that were not on hand (one being an instant water heater that is difficult to find) and returned SAME DAY to complete the jobs. Very impressed and will recommend and absolutely use their service again.
I recently had a Job for Miguel at New Pro Plumbing. My Washing Machine WATER valves needed Replacing and he arrived the same day, gave me a great quote and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND with his work and did a great job.
I would recommend him for any Plumbing job. Hard-Core sales, really unpleasant.
Continually tried to sell me with every technique including "I can call my boss for a better price", introducing panic "this is an emergency and all of the plumbing must be turned off immediately" and fear of mold "you have to call remediation people right now to prevent mold". Kept not giving me a written bid to compare to others, instead kept offering increasingly desperate verbal offers to "save me money".
Finally told me it would cost $4,500. to fix 5 feet of pipe.
I instead called a friend and had it all fixed for $550. The very worst example of opportunistic repair people who do not charge an honest rate for the work at hand and use fear and lack of knowledge to take advantage of clients.
Best decision I made was calling New Pro Plumbing and connecting with Miguel. He was fantastic! Great service: knowledgeable, respectful, efficient, and quality work.

I wanted a few days to really make sure i wasn't dealing with the same situation, but after 2.5days the leak has still not returned. Original 3- Star Review Right before thanksgiving i had a leak and had a reset done.
My original review would not let me edit and update it. Update: The leak returned a few days later.
It must have been under the toilet within 24 hours because the sealant he packed around the toilet melted away and never set. I would have updated sooner but between then and now i had a new baby.
I updated the stars due to the cost of the reset and now having to have someone else come out and reset it again. I spoke to a couple others and when i mentioned it was a flat set a couple companies suggested placing double wax rings to avoid the leak.
Going to reach out the New Pro to see about having someone come back and look at it since it cost me 600 dollars the first time. Our toilet was running non-stop, so we called and made an appointment figuring it would be a simple fix.
When the plumber showed up hours outside the window he was supposed to, he took a quick look and said the toilet was completely broken, quoting us at $1200 for a full replacement or $600 for just the tank fix. He wouldn't explain what was wrong with it, just that it was beyond repair.
We did some research online, and the fix was a $10 seal. Has been running perfectly ever since.

This is the second problem we had (other was a dripping bathtub faucet which he repaired without damaging the tile). We will use him again! We had a bathroom faucet that wasn't providing much water (perhaps due to a faulty repair from a prior plumber), and decided to replace rather than invest more money in the old fixture.

I own TreeCareLA. We had a situation where some work on tree roots required an emergency plumbing repair.
We called a other plumber who came out, tried for 2 hours and couldn't fix it! We called New Pro at about 9pm on a Friday night. He got on site in about 45 minutes.
There was some sticker shock at the price and I was already pissed that the other company wasted so much of my time. I watched every move Miguel made and I could tell he was the real deal.
He was basically working in mud, but kept the pipes and tools squeaky clean while he did the repair in pitch dark. After seeing how involved the repair was and having a previous plumber to compare him to, I was totally happy with the price and the quality of the work.

I called New Pro to come do a job at my house, a job that I know how to do, a job I've done before twice in my other two bathrooms. It was a simple job that I knew I could do in two hours.
I just didn't have the time to do it, because it was during the holiday season and I was trying to get my house ready for my family to visit. They sent a plumber named Miguel.

Whatever you want to call him, just don't call him for plumbing service. He forged the work order estimate, he lied to my face numerous times, and he kept trying to add money to the total bill.
MY FIRST MISTAKE, was that I opened my mouth and told Miguel I had family coming the next night. I will never make that mistake again, to anyone performing a service, to tell them I have somewhere to be or people to impress.
He tried to hold me hostage over this. For some reason, he also thought I was a totally idiot, because he tried to run the biggest scam on me I've ever seen.
ESTIMATE: First of all, he told me he was going to need to open up the wall in the bathroom, so that he could install pipe. I damn near fell out of my shoes when I heard that! It was the most ridiculous thing I'd ever heard.
There was absolutely NO REASON for him to touch my drywall. All we was doing, was replacing the pipe that connects the sink to the drain pipe.
I had all the parts. The job should have taken no more than 30-45 minutes.
He LIED to my face, and told me that he couldn't fix it without doing that. I had to sit there and argue with him for 5 minutes, show him the other two sinks I installed, before he relented.
Okay maybe he's really that stupid he believed that nonsense, either way, no excuse. MY SECOND MISTAKE, was agreeing for him to do the work after he tried that scam.
Honestly, the price he quoted me to do the work was fair, $125 to switch two faucet handles, and then replace some pipes under the sink. Like I said I had family coming so I signed the work order.
JOB: After an hour and a half. He told me he was done.
I checked, and the pipes under the sink were properly connected. However, HE INSTALLED THE HANDLES ON MY SINK BACKWARDS.
He tried to play dumb, and tell me that's what I said I wanted, and that in order for him to fix it, it was going to be another hour and a half and that I would have to pay another $100. I couldn't believe it.
His mistake and he wants to charge me for it. BUT WAIT, IT GETS BETTER!!! SHADY CONTRACT: I asked to see the contract.
He showed it to me, and he added $20 to the work estimate I had signed. He added it after the fact, and crossed out the total and wrote in a new total, as if that's what we had agreed upon.
He told me he needed to add $20 because it took longer than normal. I mean can you imagine this.
This stranger comes into your house, a week before christmas, and then proceeds to try and completely screw you. I was so absolutely irate.
TRIED TO KICK HIM OUT: I told him not to finish the job and leave. He continued to argue with me, and then kept trying to lower the price of his final bill.
Which BTW, had ballooned over 95% more than the original estimate, totaling $245. CALLED HIS BOSS: I threatened with calling the cops, but decided against it.
As soon as I pulled out my phone to look up the number, Miguel ran and got his cellphone. I dialed and while the phone was ringing, Miguel called, and his boss picked up HIS line.
Then he walked out the front door talking to him, his boss ignored my call. I left a message, and then tried calling his boss back to no avail.
Miguel came back into the house, and said he would do the job for the original price he quoted me. I really wanted him out of the house, but he seemed remorseful and I thought maybe his boss set him straight.
FELT THREATENED!!! He acted like the biggest prick of life, kept muttering under his breath. I was so nervous the whole time he was in my house, I really thought he was going to try and do something malicious.
FINALLY He finished the job, which should have taken less than an hour and a half, it took almost FOUR HOURS!!! Because of all the back and forth, and his mistakes/lies. I was so pissed, I had so much stuff to do that afternoon.
I tried calling his boss back again that evening, no answer. Two days later his boss left a voice mail message, but I was so mad still I couldn't even talk to him.
I have been asked a few times for a Plummer recommendation considering I'm moving into a newly remodeled home. Each time I've provided Miguel's contact information.
I follow with how professional he is in all aspects of the job. From explanations, negotiations, to install and clean up.
