We are so happy to have found Plumber 2 the Rescue and to now have Edwin in our network of excellent trades people. Edwin is so professional, patient and friendly.
He came to our condo four times over a two week time period. We needed help specifying a replacement for our vintage porcelain sink as well as fixing low water pressure issues and hard to turn bathroom faucets and replacing a shower head/arm.
He gave us the sink specification and the part descriptions for the faucet valves and referred us to Ferguson Plumbing (an excellent source!) Brittany was great to work with, as we had to deal with some considerable timing complications of receiving a freight delivery for the heavy cast iron porcelain kitchen sink, resulting in the set up and rescheduling of several appointments. We are so delighted with our beautiful new sink, wonderful water pressure and brand new shower head! Edwin patiently showed us how to take apart our kitchen faucet and clean the screen for debris.
We actually look forward to needing more plumbing work in the future. Edwin came and was fantastic-- total pro and friendly.
Explained everything in detail and even eyeballed another problem with a toilet in addition to our shower drain and was able to take care of two things at a reasonable price in one visit. Highly recommend! Great to have high quality folks you can trust in LA! The handle for one of the showers just kept turning and was not shutting off the water.
Had to cut the water off to the whole condo but after some research, the cartridge was probably old and broken. While I was able to purchase a new replacement cartridge at Home Depot, I thought it best to have a plumber change it out in case it's something else.
Fortunately, it was the right diagnosis and part!!! Nevertheless, it was a frantic morning of calling many plumbers hoping that someone had time the same day to come by. Brittany answered the phone and was very friendly and they sent Edwin out for later the same afternoon.
Edwin was great and the job was completed quickly. Since I called quite a few places, I also got other quotes for this job.
I'm happy to report that Plumber 2 The Rescue was also on the more affordable end! These are really good people who do their jobs really well. It's sad how rare that is.

Called them up on a Saturday and they had someone out within a few hours. The price quote was within expectations.
The first guy out was very professional and responsible. He clearly knew the job and what needed to be done.
Unfortunately a second guy was needed that was less than professional, walking into bedrooms unannounced and not communicating at all. It was disappointing.
In the end they got it done and I'd go to them again as my overall experience was positive. I called on a Sunday with both toilets plugged and stuff coming up the bathtub.
Josh called me right back and was able to send someone within a few hours. Raoul not only fixed the problem by snaking the main line, but thoroughly explained why it had occurred and showed us the camera images of our old, corroded pipe.
I will definitely use them in the future - they were responsive, experienced, knowledgeable and super clean with their work. Price also seemed very reasonable.

I made an appointment with Plummer 2 the Rescue based on their hundreds of positive reviews and the experience was 5/5! George arrived right on time, identified the issue and talked me through the parts that would be needed to properly connect the bidet to the unwieldy toilet design. The job went super smooth and the final install looks and functions great! Returned home yesterday to find out we had no hot water! Plumber 2 The Rescue answered all my questions and were very fast and efficient.

I posted a review over 9 years ago. I have continued to utilize their services over the years and have been satisfied with their work.
Most recently I was helped by George who adjusted the bathtub drain linkage assembly, and installed a new flush valve in the toilet (which I had attempted to do myself not quite correctly). He also let me know what parts to order from Koehler in case I had further issues.
I also had the tankless water heater serviced (flushed), and gave me advice about the possibility of installing a recirculating pump. I have been using P2TR for several years now for clogs, main line blading and faucets repairs.
They have always been reliable and fair with the pricing for these smaller jobs. A few months ago, I used them to install a water conditioner system that requires copper piping work.
They did a great job for half a day's work and at a great price compared to a few companies that quoted 5 to 7 times the P2TR prices because the work needed include unnecessary mounting brackets and pressure regulators. Josh, the owner, came out to give a free on-site quote unlike several of the companies that charged for a quote and missed the appointment.
I couldn't recommend P2TR more for both small and big jobs. They are on my short list of trades people that provide good reliable service at a fair price.
First time using this plumber, George did a great job for us. Installed a new bathroom faucet, relocated the pedestal sink stand, new angle stops on the water supply.

After having a plumber with years of experience come out to unclog our apartment shower failed us miserably, we reached out to plumber 2 the rescue. The guy we originally called snaked our drain for 5 minutes and said we needed to replace the pipes and left.

Josh was out here quick, changed the rubber seat on the cartridge in an effort to fix. He realized I had a specialty high-end faucet in my kitchen, that no plumber on Earth would have such a specialized cartridge on hand.
He tried to fix it; however, it was obvious a new cartridge was needed. Ordered the new cartridge, today Josh installed it.
Felt bad that he had to return on a $99 job. However - once I got the new cartridge from Strom he was out here immediately.
He was efficient and professional. Now my faucet is drip free - awesome.

I also liked that they accepted credit cards and had an automated messaging system that sent out an appointment confirmation after you scheduled and a "we're on our way" message ten minutes before they showed up at the house. After a terrible experience with a contracted plumber through my home insurance company, P2TR responded to me in less than 12 hours including responding to me via text outside of business hours, had immediate availability, gave me upfront fixed cost estimates just from my description of the problem (billed per hour), came on time, were extremely professional and nice, and walked me through the work being done and did it all in less than an hour including a trip for parts.
And all of this for less than a third the price quoted by the other plumber. George was fantastic and I am very impressed and pleased that I can say I had a great, positive experience with a plumbing service.

Now they are a total rip off. They say they charge $150.00 for first hour to clean a drain out! Well, as outrageous as that first hour charge is they then try their best to upsell and to waste time so they can keep adding to your bill.
You'd think their second hour would be substantially less for clearing out a drain, but oh no, you'd be wrong. Second hour is also $150.00! The technician also tries to keep making small talk, cleans under the sink repeatedly when job isn't even done, and he complains about shoddy existing plumbing (that worked for more than 10 years without any issues), crappy Bosch dishwasher that "leaks" (it doesn't), claimed that our main drain pipe was wrong and not threaded correctly so attempted to put on a new pipe wasting more time and finally realizing that nothing was wrong with it and proceeded to use original pipe that was just fine.
Also, said the water lines were leaking (never leaked prior to his visit). Just stay away from these guys.
We ended up paying $325.00 total for a simple pipe snake job under kitchen sink. Will never use them again! George Pineda was great.

Yesterday, George did an excellent job yesterday replacing our pressure regulator and basement sump pump, as well as fixing our water heater. In the past, the owner (Josh) went above and beyond in sourcing and fitting a part for an original 1930's toilet, saving us from having to install a new model toilet that would not have matched the bathroom and which would have required substantial re-tiling.

Josh, to address your reply below...not only did another plumber come and disprove your air gap assumption with the dishwasher/disposal (that wasn't the issue), within ONE day he was able to find the replacement Fontaine valve needed to repair the shower. You weren't interested in finding the replacement valve, you wanted the $1,400 repair job.
Be clear, my issue with this entire experience boils down to this--poor customer service. Thank you for your apology.
One of my neighbors called out Plumber 2 The Rescue when she had an emergency leak, and she was so impressed with their response time, attitude, and price that she told me about her experience. I'm glad I made a mental note to try them out, because that day came this past week.

They made it super easy to know that my tenant would be taken care of without me having to check back.

George is the best - he explains things very well, gives honest advice and solves our problems without hassle. I had to use him twice this week and both times I was relieved I had someone like George to help me out in these trying times.

George was amazing: he arrived on time and set expectations for the scope of work and was able to return that SAME day after finishing his other jobs to complete our job. This was necessitated by the fact of needing more equipment to clear the blockage created by a tile guy who flushed grout water down our hall bath for feeling disrespected when we had asked for a do-over for chipped tiles.
George explained everything that he was finding in everyday terms for easy understanding. Luckily, George did not have to break into the wall to replace the pipe but instead found the rag used to block the drain.
Very grateful for how thorough George was in triple checking after removing the block that there were no unforeseen extraneous causes. The backup had caused flooding into the garage and downstairs bath and George ascertained that was no longer going to occur.

It was not a surprise to him that I wanted him to install this particular toilet. Warren agreed to install this toilet and changed his mind later.
As to the carpentry, it should have been Warren's job to trim the wood to make the faucet fit. I was naive to believe him when he told me that he couldn't do it.
My cabinet installer was kind enough to stop by my house and trim the wood for me. He was surprised that Warren did not do it, as it is part of his job as the plumber.
In the end, everything worked out better for me. After Warren quit halfway through the job, I found a different plumber who is a true professional and completed the job for me.
The new plumber also told me, he could have trimmed the wood for me to make the faucet fit. My hot water heater burst during the middle of the night and P2tR was able to show up and put in a new one same day.

I called Plumber 2 the Rescue and they gave me a fair estimate by phone. They came the same day, texted me with updates and only charged $99 for the work! I also had them install a new shower head in my master bath which cost an additional $49.
