I was referred by a friend who has used this company for many years.

I called and spoke to Ranelle to get a bid to replace my old water heater with a tankless. I did my research on many tankless manufactures and decided to go with one that had the best reviews from customers as well as plumbers.

I called Mainline Plumbing & Rooter and the tankless I wanted to buy was the one they suggested. Not only did they give me the best price out of the 3 bids, but I received a great installation plus Ranelle helped me get the rebates that were available at the time.

I've since referred them to my friends & neighbors who have all tried Mainline and love them too! My reason for this late review. Since then, I've called them for some small problems, as usual they were prompt, neat, did a great job at a reasonable price.

This month the valve in my shower gave out leaving me without hot water halfway through my shower. It was an Italian fixture that was not a typical style and the manufacture was out-of-business so I couldn't buy a replacement valve.

I called the tile guy to find out if the existing tile cracked, what could he do to fix it. I thought maybe adding a liner to cover the repair would be an easy solution.

He said that since I didn't have extra tile to make the repair after rerouting the copper lines to match the new fixture, they couldn't add a liner and would have to retile the shower wall...cha-ching!! They brought "their plumber" to look at it and he agreed that to do it right, the tile would have to come out. I didn't believe any of it and called Ranelle, which I was going to do anyway.

She sent RICHARD their AMAZING lead plumber down to access the situation. He said they could remove the old valve, rework the pipes and put the new fixture in with a drywall cutout in my hallway.

He couldn't guarantee the new round shower plate would cover the existing hole as the original was rectangle but he would try his best. I got a price and said do it! There were 2 guys working as a team, one from the inside of the shower and the other in the hallway.

They were there for a couple of hours measuring and moving pipes to try to make the new valve center in the existing opening. All that time and patience worked! The new shower plate covered the existing opening within an 1/8" because they took their time to make it work.

Since I didn't have to retile my shower, I was so thrilled that I changed the tub and faucet fixtures so everything would match! If you want the BEST you MUST call MAINLINE PLUMBING & ROOTER for excellent workmanship, knowledge, promptness, neatness, and reasonable prices! Plus it's nice to work with a company that actually answers the phone and cares about helping you...that would be Ranelle, she's amazing too! Lastly, this company are big animals lovers!! We're now using Mainline for a 2nd time for our 2nd floor toilet replacing a defective "smart" but not really "smart" electric automatic toilets from a shotty company named Homary based in Corona. Omg..

what a nightmare! Anyway, mainline replaced this not so smart toilet with a solid Toto Drake and we couldn't be happier. Thank you again! We used Mainline for years and have easily spent over 10-15k with them recently, including agreeing to their recommended upgrades.

We had a major issue which they fixed and asked for a solution to avoid it happening again in the future. They reco'd an expensive piece of equipment.

We agreed. However, it turned out their reco did not address the issue so we're left with an expensive 'nice to have' and they take 0 accountability.

When confronted, they speak out of both sides of their mouth simultaneously and redirect blame. After being such good customers for so many years, we were surprised and disappointed.

They are not trustworthy and their word means very little. We expected more from a local business and member of the community.

Business must be good bc there is no concern for even their best customers. A few days again, I spoke with Ranelle at M.P.

& Rooter. I explained that a subsurface patio drain was plugged or "crushed" beneath the house pad foundation.

We'd gotten one estimate of $6 to $8,000. I'd seen a positive recommendation and so I called MP&R to get another estimate.

She recommended I check LA Hydro-Jet & Rooter first, explaining that they had some equipment that might be needed, she trusted them and maybe could save me $$$$. I called them.

They sent Cesar. He fixed the problem in about an hour and charged me about $300!!!! I will always call Mainline first.

Ranelle demonstrated an ethics which is, sadly, seldom seen today! I recommend you make Mainline your first call when faced with a plumbing problem. Dennis Sherman Oaks.

Omg! Our water main sprung a huge underground leak! We live in the hills so this was a dangerous potential problem needing a smart, experienced plumber fast! Found Mainline on Yelp! Ranelle sent Cesar out right away and wow! Cesar figured out what we needed, how he could fix it (wasn't easy) and they began digging! They found the pipe and the leak like a dog after a bone, pulled out a 10 foot section of old rotted galvanized pipe and somehow magically and expertly threaded new copper pipe under our hard scape, curb, gutter, and street without breaking any of it! Just the original 4 foot deep hole they dug! This was a big job. The work and the cost was EXACTLY what they said it would be before they started.

This is more than a company. These are good people that care about you and your home.

There's no up-sell or diversion. They tell it like it is and get to work, and do the job.

We had a fridge failure but there was so so much water coming out that it was hard to determine whether there was a leak in the pipes since the living room carpet was completely soaked.

Called insurance company and all they did was send restoration guys (who apparently didn't even do the resto stuff correctly). Kenny came out and very carefully listened to every single bathroom/pipe in our house with his cool Ghostbusters listening device.

Hired this guy in 2023 for a rental shower leaking. He arrives 30 mins late at 8:30am though I made it clear that the tenant needed to leave in the morning.

Walks around for 15 to 30 minutes and says no leaks and to buy a better shower curtain wtf!. Charged me $260.

They arrived and increased the quote from $150 to $270 because they had to disconnect the PVC pipe under the sink. I agreed to the increased price and noticed it took them 2 minutes to disconnect the PVC pipe! I asked why they needed to charge $120 for such an easy task! They said is $200 ok? And I said yes.

They snake cleared the clog and when they put the PVC pipe back on, it was leaking a little. They quoted me an additional $120 to replace the PVC pipe under the sink.

Total $320 for 90 mins of work. I'm not sure if that was a reasonable price but I paid it.

He told me to call if I have any issues and he asked for a Yelp review therefore I'm giving my best one. I am incredibly disappointed in what I can only call an attempt to squeeze money out of a female homeowner who looks like she can afford to pay.

I bought a new house, plumbing, water heater all new. The only thing that bothered me was that the hot water worked everywhere except the showers.

The sinks got hot perfectly fine. I know that it might not be a job for a plumber but I contacted a few anyway in hopes they could help.

I specifically clarified that it was not an issue with the plumbing but the water controls. I was scared to DIY it myself.

Maverick Drains responded quickly and scheduled an appointment in the next few days, which I appreciated. They arrived and without even opening the faucet controls ("If it broke, then it would be my fault") so I ended up unscrewing the faucet head myself only to be told that it was a blockage and the builders did a poor job cleaning up.

All this diagnosis without barely touching or examining the faucet interiors. He gave me an estimate of $250 per faucet to "clean it out" and needed to go to the hardware store to get some parts.

That didn't smell right. I asked to think about it.

I googled adjusting safety valve on faucets, watched a bunch of YouTube videos, took a stiff shot of liquid courage and fixed both myself within 10 minutes. No blockage.

I now have hot water without paying $500. So either this plumber was so incompetent he didn't know what the problem was when a complete amateur can, or he was trying to fleece a woman living alone out of $500.

Both are equally distasteful to me. I would not trust this company at all.

The technician was responsive and on time. when the drain failed to drain, he returned immediately and fixed everything.

Price was very reasonable. Great and affordable service! They worked with our budget and they fixed all five of our bathroom shower/sink and kitchen sink clogs the same day.

For the sink faucet, Marc was able to customize the fit of the faucet product purchased from Home Depot, since the dishwasher ventilator prevented the entire faucet base from being installed. For the mainline cleaning, Santos first ran the camera to show me the roots growing into the mainline.

He told me that a pressure cleaning would temporarily eliminate them (for about three years), or I could go with a long term solution of re-piping. I went with the pressure cleaning with a 6 month warranty.

After the finishing the cleaning, he ran the camera again, and it was clear that the roots were gone and the entire line looked clear. I highly recommend Santos and his crew and will continue to use them for all my plumbing needs.

Not only did the crew use only high quality products, but they also did a great job of covering the floors, household items, etc., and consistently wearing masks and maintaining a safe distance while on-site.

Based on our experience last week, Kayvon Plumbers will be our go-to electric contractor from this point forward. One of the lights in my kitchen wouldn't turn off.

I called Kayvon Electricians to come out and take a look. They told me they would charge a $75 service fee and came out the following day.

When the guy came it took him about 30 seconds to figure out that there was a light switch I didn't realize was there that turned off the light, so the problem was solved immediately. Nevertheless, they charged me an additional $75 fee, which I was told was somehow the "minimum" they could charge.

This was not communicated to me when I booked the appointment (ie, that there would be a $75 service fee plus a "minimum" $75 fee), so I ended up paying $150 for someone to flip a light switch. The electrician himself was very nice and they came right on time as scheduled.
