Please be wary of this guy! I was charged $350 for Ron to show up at my house (at the incorrect time) and he spent literally no more than 5 minutes diagnosing the leak on the side of my house. Long story short, his diagnosis was COMPLETELY incorrect and due to his advice, I had the plumbing company cut the wrong pipe.

I now have no water going to the hose bib on the side of my house, and the plumbing company had to come out three more times to fix the correct pipe. I still had to pay $350 and Ron didn't seem to care at all, and he didn't even attempt to offer a partial refund after his screw-up.

Now I have no hose water being supplied on the side of my house :( Ron: PLEASE take a bit more time diagnosing leaks to get it right. Nothing but a positive experience .

Shes 71 and constantly putting off repairing items in her house. The typical older, stubborn, family member, that we all have in our family.

That's when my husband and I decided to take it into our own hands. We could not leave California, knowing that she was having these difficulties.

What was happening you ask? When she would flush the toilet they would almost overflow. They would only flush half the time.

When we would flush, the sewage would back up into the showers. So yucky brown stuff was either going down the toilet or up into the shower.

Neither of those being good. It was 11 PM at night and we decided to call rotor rooter to see if they would come out that night.

The company is 24 seven however it was two days before New Year's and they were completely booked with having so many clients between Christmas and New Year's. Understandable.

However, the lady was extremely nice and told me she could get me in at 8 AM. The next morning, two men came out and were super friendly and knowledgeable about what was going on with the plumbing.

They explain that it could be three things. One of the plumbing is old and needs to be replaced to when it rains.

The roots clog the drains. Three another clock, which happened to pass the pipe.

I was extremely impressed with how efficient and quick they were. By 9 AM they had everything working.

They completely unclogged both toilets using a machine. We found out that there are roots in the plumbing.

And with the price comes a camera that will go down the pipes in one week to determine which tree or plant is causing the route so that we can take that out I was so happy with how professional, respectful and responsible they were. They even apologize that the carpet was wet even though we did that before they got there.

They even had plastics over their shoes to keep everything clean and intact. I can't wait to do more business with them as it was.

I performed a DIY project where I switched my galvanized steel water lines to PEX-B piping for one of my bathrooms that I was in the process of remodeling. Once the PEX-B was installed, I turned on the main water line and tested my fixtures for running water.

My primary bathroom no longer had running water in the sink faucet and the shower head. I called several plumbers/plumbing companies explaining what I did and what I'm dealing with and Mr.

Rooter offered to provide an inspection. Michael arrived and I explained to him the problem that I was dealing with.

First and foremost, Michael is knowledgeable, experienced and most of all kind and incredibly helpful. He informed me that Monterey Park typically has hard water which plays a large factor on the life/performance of galvanized steel pipes.

Due to how these pipes corrode, during my DIY process, he explained that I most likely loosened a lot of sediment and corrosion that had built up in the pipe, similar to that of a clogged artery. All the loose sediment ended up rushing into my bathroom faucet and shower head thus clogging them up and rendering them useless.

Michael explained that I should have left one of the pipes uncapped before turning on the main water valve. Doing this would have flushed the sediment out of that open pipe and any other rubbish that may be in the pipes.

Once flushed out and only clear water is coming through, turn off the main water line, cap the open pipe, and turn back on the water line. Michael aided by taking off the entire shower head attachment from the shower arm and turned on the shower.

Sure enough, orange sediment and some blackish build up blasted out and the shower once again has running water. I proceeded to replace the sink faucet myself and bought a new shower head .

Both the sink faucet and the shower works perfectly fine and I have Michael at Mr. Rooters South San Gabriel to thank for that.

My dad, in an attempt to help me fix a leak, accidentally cracked the pipe in my condo's backyard faucet. The faucet head broke off and water was just now pouring out.

We had a underground pipe leak in our front yard where the water goes into the house. Jamie from Mr.

Rooter came out promptly within 15-20 minute of my call and showed up. He knew immediately where the leak was and quoted me $425 to fix the issue.

Since he had to dig out the muddy dirt and replace the pipes I didn't mind paying for the labor he had to go through. He was very friendly and showed me where the problem was and explained to me what he was going to do to fix it.

He was very professional the entire time while he worked on my issue. He got the job done with in an hour and replace my damage pipe with new copper piping.

Jaime came and cabled the drains and said I needed to have the main drain cleaned out due to roots in the drain. I scheduled it to be done on 2-6-2023.

Jaime and his assistant, Javier came and hydro jetted the sewer line, did a clean out and ran a camera to make sure everything was okay. They were very professional, nice, and knew their job thoroughly and were h ard workers.

They had to remove a lot of landscaping to do the job and they cleaned up afterward. The next time I need plumbing work done, I will ask for Jaime.

with 2 bathrooms. Went from galvanized to copper pipes after Joe Senior talked me out of replacing with pex because of previous rodent problems.

The workers were sloppy, messy and careless. Leaving behind drywall everywhere after opening walls, wet and damaged cleaning and PPE supplies in the laundry area, cracked garage tile, water-stained ceiling drywall in garage and water damaged cook books in a cabinet close to refrigerator ice maker line.

The workers did not bother to replace anything they pulled out of closets. November 2020, during a bathroom remodel was shown by another contractor that not all the pipes in the attic had been replaced with copper.

Attempted to get Mr. Rooter back out for this but even more urgently for the horrible hammering we have experienced since the re pipe was done.

Anytime the toilets are flushed there is a very loud banging/hammering sound. So loud is this sound that we do not use the master bath toilet at night because it will wake up the other person in the bedroom.

April 2021 Mr. Rooter returned and attempted to tell me that I did not pay for piping that leads to the back of the house.

Stated on the contract "all piping in the house". The re pipe was completed with damage to stucco wall at exterior light fixture.

This time attention was paid to covering the wood floors. The hammering issue was addresses by installing a "Shock absorber" device in the attic.

This alleviated the problem for a few days after which the hammering returned. Once again informed Mr.

Rooter the hammering was back. He told me he would come by next week, he did not.

Contacted him again 2 weeks later to set up another appointment. May 7,2021; Had an appointment with Mr.

Rooter today. He texted to say he had a family emergency and could not make it (is he the only one that can fix the issue?) No idea when he will fix the hammering problem.

In the meantime the hammering continues to wear on the pipe joints! We have use Mr Rooter for several years. Joe Diaz Jr and Sr always give us the best customer care you can ever ask for.

Monday 7/10/23. I thought we just had issues in the shower because my father has vascular dementia and constantly broke my shower faucet handles every 9 months.

Jamie knew Dad recently suffered several medical set backs and how important for me to have running water to care and clean my father. Jamie knew my 1950s steel pipes have been the serious problem rotting with nasty rust since becoming a Mr Rooter customer.
