A couple days ago (Oct 2024), I had an issue with a running toilet and called Marco. Marco picked up on the second ring.
He then said "I think you can save yourself some money and do this work yourself." We then FaceTimed and he walked me step-by-step on how to fix my toilet on my own. I truly appreciate this level of customer service and will always work with Marco and Clean Out Plumbing because of this experience.
They are honest, attentive and customer first focused. While I don't wish for any more plumbing issues, Marco and his team are on speed dial.
Our kitchen sink was backing up so we called Clean Out Plumbing to come take a look at it. They were having issues getting it cleaned out, so the tech went under our house to see what was going on.
It turns out there were some issues with the pipes, which were very old, and the way that they had been configured by a renovation done some 20 years ago. They brought back good pictures and some video of what was going on and where there was water leaking.
They gave me a fair quote to resolve the issue, and were able to get a team out the same day to handle it. This involved a team working both under the house and in the yard, and they worked until the evening to get it resolved.
They provided 'before' and 'after' pictures of the work. It's been a few weeks and I've noticed that not only is the drain working the slightly musty smell that had been going on for some time under our house has dissipated.

Thank you 'Clean Out Plumbing & Rooter' once again from Jon & the Pizzurro family Today, Chris came out to help me with my clogged toilet, that I toiled over all day. In less than 10 mins he got it done! He was on time and super efficient.

I made an appointment at 10-11 am but their message said 9 am. After I called them they said that was a mistake so they will reschedule for me at 3 pm.
So basically I wasted the whole day waiting for them. A guy came and he checked and said your Sewer was blocked.
There is some hard stuff billed up on the surface of the pipe so they will have to use a camera and another machine to clean it out. It will be charged for 2600 dollars.
It will last 4 hours. I asked another company and they fixed the problem after 30 minutes and everything is back to normal.
They only charge 75 dollars. another guy said the worker will be pain-based on commission so that's why they want something big.
This company has lost its credit since it just want to make more money. Spoke with Marco about 2 clogged storm drains at our house.
He quickly sent Bryant to investigate the issue the next day and try to hydrojet the pipe. Unfortunately, Bryant discovered the old pipes were already practically disintegrated (cracked/crushed, filled with dirt and tree roots) and no amount of hydrojetting would fix it.
He even verified this with me visually using the camera snake. So, we had Bryant and his team install new storm drain piping all around the property.
I applaud the team at how efficiently yet thoroughly they performed this challenging task, especially given that digging the trenches were definitely not an easy job because of large tree roots everywhere as well as needing to tunnel under some concrete wall barriers. Over the course of 1.5 days, they dug the trenches, installed new pipes, re-covered with dirt, and re-installed any concrete pieces that had needed to be broken in order to lay the pipes.
Bryant was even thoughtful enough to add a few extra water drain catch ports in our lawn that connected right into the new pipes, which further would improve water drainage. Thank you to the Clean Out Plumbing team for their hard work with this project! I feel confident we're ready for the winter storms and rain now.
We'll be giving Marco and Bryant a call in the future if we have any other plumbing needs! Highly recommend this company! I'm a renter and the house has been having so many plumbing issues recently (leaking, clogging, and more). Our plumber, Chris, came within the hour.
He was friendly, informative, and able to explain the issues simply and thoroughly. I had to call my landlord so that way Chris could explain the situation and he was extremely professional and gave detailed information to my landlord.
Unfortunately he was not able to fix the problem, but since it wasn't solved, he didn't charge us although he worked hard to diagnose the issues. He clearly explained the complications so that we would be able to find another plumber and explain the issue to them.
Although the issue wasn't solved, I understand that the plumbing issue was quite complicated and I would still use this company again for the good price and quality service. Update 4/18: So have another drain clog and decided to reach out to owner Marco as he stated to give them another try to make up for the past call 3 months ago.
As you can see in the text attached, he clearly states to help me out for any plumbing needs. I waited a few days before updating this so that there will be no excuses for the no reply.
Text was sent on Sunday and read that same time. It is now Thursday 4 days later and no reply.
It was simply a ploy to get me to change or delete my review from the initial encounter with this company. Professional and quick scheduling.
After he snaked the drain it seemed to work. He left, but 30 min later it clogged again, and this time worse than before.
Thankfully I had my own electrical snake. After snaking it a few more times, going farther than he did, it cleared up and has not been an issue for the past couple of months.
Although the price was great, it wasn't a complete job. He also tried to sell me on a drain maintenance program for hundreds of dollars, which was totally unnecessary.
Chris (plumber) arrived on time and from the beginning was respectful, knowledgeable, and very easy to communicate with. He explained my situation and fixed what was needed without further issues.
I would definitely recommend. The communication and scheduling was easy and straightforward.
However, after snaking our clogged bathtub drain to no avail, they quoted us to replace the P Trap and overflow. The quote was high, so we checked 2 other companies who offered a price much less than what Clean Out quoted me.
In the end I called a friend who helped us clear out the clog with a manual snake. Wild to me that they couldn't clear the clog with a powered snake while my friend cleared it with a manual snake, and then they quoted us for an outrageous price for work that was unnecessary.
The worst part of it is that they had a crew come out on a Sunday to perform the work they quoted us for (which was already fixed by my friend), without ever confirming that we wanted the work done. No inconvenience on our end but I'm sure their crew didn't appreciate being called to a job 8AM on a Sunday.
I've decided to update my review based on my most recent experience with Clean Out Plumbing. My issue is that they advertise any drain cleaning with camera inspection for $49 but when they came, I didn't get a camera inspection and they charged me $98 and then claim that the $49 is only for drains with clean out access.
If you look at their yelp page you won't find the "fine print" in their page. So it's deceptive advertising because their vans even have the same advertisement and when I explained to them that their page doesn't say that, they said they'll mention it to their media team to fix it.
Instead of keeping a customer by making things right, they prefer to lose one for $49. Last time I do business with them.
Enjoy the extra $49 bucks. I'm pretty sure they don't want customers like me anyway...There are plenty of other plumbers I can call so win win for everyone.
Called the clean out people on a Sunday, they had a great tech out to our home first thing Monday. Two drains cleaned out and one that needed some new parts.
The whole service was very professional from top to bottom. Would use the again 100 percent.

Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen needed some help with drains. I asked Yelp for an estimate, and this team won.
Their response time was quick (minutes)! Richard was our plumber and I highly recommend him. He was cheerful, honest, and took the time to show and explain the problems.
He fixed all the problems, which included a new garbage disposal, and shared what will need to be replaced soon. The price was fair and far better than previously quoted from other plumbers.

He told us exactly what he was going to be doing in order to remove the blockage in our house main line. Nathan first TV'd our main line, in which he was able to find and show us the root intrusion on the video causing the blockage.
He then took his sonar and pointed out exactly where the blockage was down our driveway for our knowledge. He proceeded to hydro the line in order to cut the roots to relieve the blockage that was causing the back up into our bathrooms.

My husband and I procrastinated on permanently addressing a known sewer drain tree root issue for over 4 yrs because we never felt fully confident in a solution that was offered.
So we would avoid using the toilets that flowed into our problem drain. Well 2 weeks ago it came to a head as our toilet overflowed because of the blockage.
After contacting a few plumbers who were very helpful in clearing the drain and providing an estimate, we still were iffy on whether we wanted to pull the trigger because we weren't confident. So then I spend 5 hrs researching all the different options on Google and Youtube and providers on Yelp and came across Clean Out.
I read every review (all the many great ones and even the few that were not great) and could tell that this company specialized in drains and prided themselves on service and results. After Marco confirmed a camera inspection estimate appointment, I could tell this was a professional company with the great communication from Chris who came out to inspect our pipes thoroughly with the hi def camera.
What I immediately got was how experienced and knowledgeable this guy was ( I am a great BS spotter) as he examined everything he was seeing through the camera. Not until he completed his thorough eval did he then share a few options after me telling him I wanted a permanent (or near permanent) solution vs a spot fix.
Based on the research I had done on the topic, everything Chris explained gave me more and more confidence. That and how before he provided the estimate, he spent more time sleuthing to learn more about our pipe location, depth, path, materials ( cast iron, clay, ABS), the precise tree root break point and degree of blockage.
All this to help him formulate his recommendation on what approach to use. What struck me was out of two options he recommended the less expensive option but after proactively conferring with someone else on his team ( like a surgeon would do with a colleague on a recommended surgery) he went with the lower risk and less invasive but equally effective approach.
(beware of companies that send a salesperson to give quotes as they don't know all the intricacies involved - Chris was going to also quarterback the work on the day of. ) 2 days later 5 capable guys with 4 trucks were at our house at 8:30 ready to get started but again, they used the camera to inspect, then descaled, then camera then they started the work to install trenchless pipe replacement.
I have never seen a team work so well together as a true team. About every hour, Chris would knock on the door so I could ( if I wanted to) look at each of the different steps of the work and also to have me see the results so I would feel confident.
So glad we didn't go with the "spot repair" because they found degradation (holes, cracks) in the pipe all along the pathway. (see photo) Throughout my interactions with Chris what I appreciated beyond his technical skills was how he listened to my concerns and my very detailed questions and he would speak at just the right level ( not too high as to have it go over my head or not condescendingly low) to validate and reassure me.
And each of the other guys were equally terrific. After a long , honest days' work - the guys finished a little after 5 but then spent the next 45 min cleaning up- they left after 6pm.
And I can't tell you how surprised I am about missing my new sewer drain heros. Another important detail.

Great job! Originally had Chris out to do a clean out for an up coming party I was hosting. He recommended a hydrojetting due to excessive root infiltration within the main line.
The biggest thing I appreciated was his explanation to why he was recommending the services and would show you via the camera he never force anything on us. Due to the age of our pipe the main line had started to belly with roots getting in the clay pipe and ultimately need to changed out with new pipe.
We decided to just get it done due to the great pricing. The following week his team came out and started the process to burst pipe from two separate holes.
Process was smooth and by the end you wouldn't even know they were there. Would highly recommend there services.

Texted Marco because I was having plumbing issues and Erick came out the next day. Being that he's a local he understood the soil, and pipes used to build the homes within the general vicinity.
He found the problem immediately and gave me several options. Advised to go with the first alternative which was hydro jetting plus a titanium chain (which was the less expensive option).

Husband called Clean Out Plumbing & Rooter as we have used them before for the usual kitchen sink drain back up. They came out the next day and diagnosed the problem of possible roots in the main line.
Chris gave us a reasonable quote and even suggested a financing option. Chris and his team, Geronimo and Richie, came out the following day and got to work early.
They dug a port hole in the front flower bed area and hydrojetted the main drain after using a camera to find very thick roots blocking the water flow. They put the dirt back nicely and washed down the drive way.
We also had them install a new toilet that we had purchased from Home Depot. After installing the toilet, they cleaned up the dirty areas.

Not only was I pleasantly surprised that I was able to catch him on the phone, he was able to send out his team within less than 2 hours of talking to him. From there, Nathan was the hero! He conducted an assessment of why the kitchen sink backed up during laundry days.
Within an hour he provided me with the root cause of the situation, as well as his recommendation for remedy. Unfortunately, the culprit was our 70-year old cast iron pipes under the house that had so much corrosion it reduced the flow of water by nearly 50%! Admittedly, this was not the outcome we were hoping for (due to the magnitude of the work that would be required).

Within another hour or so, he returned to begin work to REPLACE all of our 70-year old cast iron pipes underneath the house. By Tuesday evening (within 1 1/2 days in total everything was done, including clean-up, and installing a new cleanout (since our old one was sealed up).
Bottom line: We are thrilled with the results! Prompt, professional experts who made good on their commitments! No hidden or surprise costs on the invoice that weren't originally quoted. Super communicative along the way - Nathan provided a ton of pictures to document progress.

We knew we needed to get some work done on the main pipe for our home, but we knew it would be a big job. It got to the point where we could not ignore the issue anymore.
We called this company and Steven, and his crew came out and put a camera down. There was a lot of root damage to the pipe, and it was not wide enough to be able to flush it out with a hydro jet.
Steven gave us a few options that he recommended. We decided to replace the pipe in the property with high density seamless polyethylene pipe.
This pipe went from our street and connected out to the city system. We also put in an access point for future use if we need to clean out the pipe.
I am amazed at how easy this project went. The communication and the entire crew were kind, friendly, easy to work with, on time and knowledgeable guys.
Our next plumbing project is going to be a big one. I have been dreading replacing the entire piping in our house.

Marco sent Nathan to our home for a major plumbing issue. Nathan came over that morning and immediately detected a break in our main line and got a team together that same day and worked late into the night because of a second break in the main line.
They broke out concrete on the first break and on the second break, they dug 7 ft deep to get to the line. For the amount of work they put in, including a follow up visit by Nathan, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful, the cost was not unreasonable.

Although I didn't end up using them this time around, Chris and Jeronimo came within the same day to take a look at the issue; they came before the city did and I reached out to them since my HOA recommended I reach out to a plumber. They were quick, efficient, respectful and knowledgeable about what was wrong with the meter.
As mentioned in my previous post, if I have any plumbing issues in the future again, I would definitely reach out to use them again. My kitchen sink was clogged and need to be snaked.
Nathan came with a snake the next day but unable to fully snaked the drain as the grease was too much. He then suggested installing a clean out and hydro jetting the next day.
After further inspecting, he found that there was corrosion in the galvanized drain pipes. He suggested to replace all the drain pipes.
The crew came the next day to replace them all. They were professional and lined the walkways in the house.
The whole house drain pipes from tub, toilet, and sink to main line was replaced with abs pipes. It was all done in a day.
They even help me lay the bricks back on the place where they dug to reach to main line. Our toilet was clogged, so I called Clean Out Plumbing.
I called on a Thursday morning, and was told that they could help me the same day. (A pleasant surprise, as I was not expecting same day service.) Brian came in the evening around 6pm and fixed the problem in ten minutes.

I needed an emergency drain put in outside of my house that required boring a horizontal hole about 55 feet to the sidewalk. Before the job started I briefed them about the potential hazards of the wiring for my garden lights as well as my sprinkler heads.
They still managed to disconnect one of my lights and broke one of my sprinkler heads. In their defense, they did reattach the light after some convincing of who was responsible and they were willing to fix the sprinkler head.
I fixed the sprinkler head myself because I did not want to wait four days to have it repaired. Despite the two small mishaps, I think they did a good job.
Had they acknowledge the mishaps and taken responsibility for them from the beginning and just repaired them, I would have given them 5 stars. Chris and his team at Clean Out Plumbing saved the day at my property.
It turned out my drain was fully corroded/broken and needed to be replaced. Chris immediately quoted the job, and was ready to work with a crew of 6 guys the day after.
For such a big job, they were able to complete it within 2 days. My house is built on concrete slab, and he managed to re-route the drain with minimal digging into the foundation.

My toilet was clogged and I tried various different methods to unclog it before I reached out to them. Scheduling an appointment is via text message.
The person who texted me said my appointment will be set between 2-5, but I told him I preferred 4:30 pm (main reason was my roommate works night shift and will be sleeping). I also told the person my toilet is on the second floor, so the quote jumped from $49 to $265.
I did not confirm the appointment after he gave me the new price because I asked different plumbing businesses regarding their prices. The other businesses told me $265 is overpriced for my clogged toilet.
Without confirming the appointment with the new price, a plumber came to my place at 1:30pm and woke up my roommate. The plumber said he can fix the toilet for $225.
I called the owners number to address the following: #1 The technician showed up too early and woke up my roommate. #2 I have never confirmed the appointment and time after the new price.
The person on the phone was firm on the price of $265. Not negotiable.
He then called the plumber and told him they will do it for $225 (still expensive, and the technician was going to charge me for that price anyways). Job was done.
As of today 06/05/22 my toilet is clogged again which is within 1 month of the time the plumbers unclogged it. I immediately contacted them again, in which they told me there will be no warranty because it my "piping issue" and the estimate was $1750 to fix the pipe.

It was determined that the original plumbing underneath the house was on the last leg and needed repairs. Bryant ended up coming out the very next morning with crew and replaced all the original cast iron with updated plastic piping.

Thanks, Clean Out! Our plumbing backed up again, 2 years to the month of when it happened last time. We called Clean Out at 8:30 on a Tuesday night and they returned our call immediately.
Nathan came out the next day. They hydro jetted the line and cleared it, as well as inspected it with their camera.
What they found was disappointing but ultimately providential. The main line going from the front of our house back to the master bathroom had holes in it and was leaking into the foundation.
We were shown this with their camera. The solution was to use trenchless sewer line repair technology, a very interesting process.
They would also descale the cast iron pipe to make it bigger in diameter. After some initial miscommunication on when the job would start and finish, Nathan and Bryant came out on Friday to do the descaling and prep work for the line repair.
They came out on Saturday and finished the job. They were punctual and professional.
The repair went smoothly and they left everything as it was before, which included laying new concrete where they had had to jackhammer our walkway. This repair was expensive but we think well worth it when you think of the ramifications of long-term leakage into the foundation and the possibility of a sinkhole or cracked foundation.
We highly recommend Clean Out Plumbing and Rooter and will definitely use them again. And kudos to Nathan and Bryant, our technicians.
