We also were able to replace our fill valve on the spot. Overall everything took less than 40 min, was reasonably priced and they were very professional and reasonable! So I moved into my house right before Covid and like a lot of guys, I've been successfully doing a lot of DYI projects. However, recently I had to replace my new water heater to comply with my homeowner's insurance.
I installed my new one, and it immediately started dripping from the T & P release valve. I had the water heater company send me a new T & P release valve thinking the old one was faulty.
I replaced it, and the thing still leaked! I never had water pressure or thermal expansion issues with my last water heater, so I never thought that would be the case...until I called Hotline Plumbing & Rooter! I was at my wit's end, so I finally decided to reach out for help (after spending countless hours of research and watching YouTube videos). I went on Yelp and looked for the most local and highest rated plumber in my area and found Hotline Plumbing & Rooter.
Giovannie answered, and I explained my whole situation. He immediately guided me through step-by-step on what to do (mind you I had already purchased a water psi gauge, so that helped), and he determined that this issue was my water pressure regulator.
My water pressure was reading over 150 psi, so he advised replacing the water pressure regulator right away along with attaching the thermal expansion tank that I had already purchased as well. Lo and behold...Giovannie was right! I did exactly what he recommended and no more dripping!! Giovanni patiently and professionally spoke with me over the phone and provided all this service...for FREE! He could've done this in person and charged me, but I think since I had most of the parts/equipment, it was pretty easy sailing for me from there on.
However, if you want to avoid spending countless hours of research and your time is limited, then truly and highly recommend giving Hotline Plumbing & Rooter a call! Mauricio gave us a reasonable price then once the job was done added a $25 dollar discount without us even asking. He also recommended us to get the brand name parts so that it would last longer and work better even though it meant that he would have to return another day to give us time to purchase parts.
He also told us about the manufacturer's lifetime warranty that would allow us to get free replacement parts in the future. We would also be able to get the new parts from the manufacturer now so we can return the one we bought and get reimbursed.

They came on time and did a great job! I will definitely call this company again! Mauricio from Hotline Plumbing has come out to my house a few times for different jobs and always done excellent work. Today he came out to reinstall two new toilets that my husband had put in, which became loose.
He showed me the problem (the flange is high because we removed tile and have exposed concrete slab) and proposed a couple of solutions. I went with the fastest and cheapest to see if that works.
The toilet is now looking much better and seats close to the floor without the huge gap that was there before. No wiggling at all, which is how it should be.
If this solution fails down the line, we'll consider the next option of cutting the flange and replacing so it's flush. Digging everything out is not something I want to pursue even though it's probably the most thorough solution, but I know it's an option Mauricio can take on if all else fails.

This is our one and only call every time we have any plumbing-related issues. Hotline Plumbing is the best! They respond to messages quickly, schedule appointments that aren't too far off, and always show up on time.
We had an issue with our kitchen sink not draining and it wasn't a result of the garbage disposal or a clog. They quickly diagnosed that it was an issue with the drainage pipe outside of our house, fixed the problem, and also gave us some simple, occasional maintenance tips to help avoid it in the future.
We also tend to bring up more things for them to look at as a sort of "while you're here" request. They patiently checked everything out, even the minor things.
Some things were a quick fix, others they gave us tips we could do on our own to fix and avoid the problem, and they also gave us signs to watch for problems that weren't an issue now, but could be down the line if we saw certain things. They never try to upsell you, they are honest with what does and does not need repair or replacement, they're prices are fair, and they are always friendly and easy to talk to about any issues.
I highly recommend them! Just had Hotline Plumbing out again for a few fixture installation and fix jobs. Again, Giovanni and his team were friendly and even called me on the day to say they could come earlier than the appointment time, but I wasn't available at the earlier time.
Ben who replaced my toilet about a year ago and did a great job then. Came out gave me the quote for the jobs which I can tell you was much more reasonable than others' quotes.
Was the one that came back out to do the jobs. He did a great job! Unfortunately I was sent the wrong part for one of the fixtures and had to reorder the right ones.

They listened patiently as I described the plumbing stoppage problems in my double sink and bathtub. The two previous estimates tried to sell me on adding expensive clean outs and/or repiping under the house, claiming that they could not snake the problems.
Mauricio and William went on my roof and snaked down the vent to clear the sink stoppage and then went in the crawl space to snake the bathtub stoppage. They were successful on both problems and charged me a fair price for the work.

Five stars!!!! I would use them again. Mauricio and William are great and seem to be experienced plumbers.
They installed a Moen Flo valve for us that's required by our homeowners insurance and knew exactly what to do. Price wise, they are definitely on the very high side, $1200 total including parts (valve is $520 at home depot) so ~$680 for labor for about a 1 hour job.
Since they were able to do the job immediately, I was willing to pay for the convenience to get it done immediately. I would still highly recommend them if you are willing to pay the higher price and are in a time crunch, at least you can be confident they'll get it done and correctly.
Another issue, another great job by Hotline. Mauricio and and William were able to quickly fix an issue with a toilet leaking at the base due to a broken flange bolt.
They not only fixed it quickly and showed me it was fixed, they also put caulk around the toilet. I pointed out my second bathroom had a toilet that ran only occasionally and they were able to determine why and fix that in just a few minutes.
On top of great service the prices are more than competitive with other places I've called. tl;dr - Plumbing issues? Call Hotline! I'm glad I did.

These guys are great! Geovanni (I hope I'm spelling it right! I don't think I've ever seen it written), has always treated me very well. On my last call, Ben came out, took care of my issue, and showed me how to repair it myself should it ever happen again.
In fact, when I have contacted them to get a service call, they have always been good enough to talk me through it and make sure that I've done everything I can before they come out. They could easily make a quick buck off of me, but they don't.

I called Hotline because my toilet was leaking between flushes. Ben came, was very nice and helpful and rebuilt the parts inside the toilet.
Problem is, 3 months later, the arm that connects the handle to the chain disintegrated. It looks like it was forced onto the handle but wasn't really a good fit.
The plastic ring put onto the handle on the inside was cracked and chewed up. In addition, he tried to talk me into replacing my water pressure valve because he said the pressure was too high but the fact is that his meter wasn't working correctly.
I had it checked out and water pressure valve was fine. This would have cost me few hundred dollars.

This is by far the best plumber I've used in the valley. Fixes from years ago remain in great shape.
Better yet, I had an issue where the tank on one of my toilets cracked over the holidays. It was an old Crane Plumbing toilet, and apparently they were notorious for this problem.
Unfortunately, these toilets aren't made anymore, so even though the rest of the toilet was fine the entire thing would need replaced requiring costly repairs. My bathroom would also need new flooring and a repaint because of the amount of work needed to replace this specific toilet, which was custom fit for my bathroom decades ago.
Except... Mauricio was able to find a tank that would fit this toilet! He spent over a week looking, and kept in touch with me, and went out of his way to try and find a less costly solution.
Even if he wasn't able to find the tank, I would have happily hired him to do the more significant fixes of replacing the entire toilet, but the fact that he was willing and able to first look for a better option is incredible. I've had some bad experiences with plumbers in the past, so if you are looking for a plumber start here.
They're the best I've used and will go out of their way to try and help you. I've now used them for years and had nothing but great experiences.

Every point of contact with the team at Hot Line Plumbing, from placing a call to set up the appointment with Giovanni yesterday, to getting all of our issues fixed by Mauricio and William today has been ideal. They fixed my leaks and replaced the faucet and left my kitchen area spotless.
They were so friendly, punctual, fast working, and professional. I've never been inclined to leave a Yelp review, but I just had to after today's positive experience.
Came home from vacation and noticed a very subtle smell of natural gas coming from my water heater cabinet. After calling the Gas Co.
to come investigate, we determined there to be a failing control valve. I called Giovanni at Hotline the next day and provided pictures.
He was able to schedule service to replace the control valve the following day. Mauricio came out to replace, but also showed me how to properly flush the water heater for maintenance and my options along with costs for water heater replacement, when needed.
This is the 2nd time I've gone to Hotline and they've been excellent both times. Was able to schedule same day for a quote and was able to fix the problem.
Mauricio & William we're very professional and courteous. They explained the problem and what was mostly likely causing the issues to prevent future problems.

Hotline Plumbing is hands-down, the best plumbing company in the San Fernando Valley. Ben came to fix our toilet and diagnose an issue with our sprinklers and kitchen sink.
He fixed our toilet for a very reasonable fee, provided an estimate for our kitchen sink issue, and resolved our issue with the sprinklers at NO CHARGE. Ben is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.
We have used no other plumbing company since at least 2017. We don't trust any other plumber.
Hotline is prompt, extremely reasonably priced, and their quality of work is unmatched. We deal most frequently with Ben, but Giovani and Mauricio have also provided service to our home, and they are all amazing.

Mauricio and William did a great job explaining the repairs and gave us a fair price. They replaced the water pressure regulator and fixed our toilet water shut off valve in about 30 mins.

Their service was performed by Geovanni who arrived on time and was very professional. Geovanni determined that the problem was with our hot water heater igniter, and suggested several repair options to fix our problem.
Giovanni futher showed me how to safely restart the heater. As I was quoted on the phone, Geovanni did all of this without any charge.

I've had different people come and everyone is consistently very nice, professional and impressive work! Today I had the pleasure to meet with Mauricio, who fixed the problem right away and I was relieved it wasn't as bad as I thought. I wish more businesses were this well run, with such great employees! Mauricio and William stopped by and took care of my water heater quickly and at a great price I am no longer encouraged to tackle fix it problems in house.
And by "no longer encouraged" I really mean my wife said never again. Sigh.

Mauricio and William came out, helped to find the leak, then came back and cut through the floor (removing only one tile!) and repaired the leak in an incredibly short amount of time. After waiting 24 hours to make sure it was good, they returned to fill in the hole with dirt and concrete.
All this for a very good price. Friendly, conscientious and hard working.
