This Proview technician came to look at my tankless water heater for a possible gas leak situation. He looked at the water heater for a short while, and without even opening up my water heater, he declared i had a cracked heat exchanger in the water heater, and shortly after that the company offered a brand new replacement for $5,000+ , to be completed on the same day.

They didn't even bother to look into the warranty situation for my water heater, which carries a 10+ yr warranty on the heat exchanger. Of course, i didn't bite, and hired an honest, licensed professional ( fortunately) to follow up on that, who averred to the soundness of my water heater.

The possible gas leak situation was resolved by another honest professional for $289.00, who just had to replace a faulty nut on the supplying gas line, and did a thorough job of testing my water heater using a gas leak detector, Alex did an outstanding job fixing our plumbing issue. He was knowledgeable, kind, and easy to work with, making the entire process stress-free.

Art was great! I had a shower valve and cartridge that was going bad and started to leak. Sent a request through Yelp to multiple plumbers and Art replied back quickly and we were able to schedule quickly.

Some others went through offices or receptionists and needed me to call them but it was super convenient to just be able to convey all the info through messages here. I sent the request out late at night after I messed up and caused the minor leak.

Art replied, made it out the next morning to stop the leak and suggested the valve should be replaced as the existing one wasn't standard and would likely cause problems again down the line. It's happened with other parts of our condo building as the original builders cut corners with a lot of things so I went with his suggestion.

He came the next morning with a 2nd plumber and they got it all done in a couple hours. He initially said we may need to break open more of the tiles to be able to get to the valve for the replacement but by the end they were able to put the tiles back and not have to put in an extra large ugly plate to cover the hole.

Due to arthritis we needed to change the knobs to levers in both bathrooms. We chose Die Hard again.

We just replaced our dishwasher and found out that we needed our water pressure to be adjusted Chris came out and confirmed that our water pressure was too high, as the old regulator was broken. He came out Friday to do a diagnostic, which cost $125.

That fee was then applied to the repair when he returned a couple days later. In that time, someone from their office called us to explain charges and to give options.

Chris is very friendly, competent, and best of all was able to explain everything to us. We will be calling them again! I had a leak I thought was coming from one of my sprinklers.

The area was getting saturated. I sent a request for a quote and I received a response within 15 minutes.

I was scheduled for a visit the following day. Robert came and just by looking at the situation on hand, he diagnosed and got to work.

He replaced a broken line in my front lawn. I highly recommend them.

I was 90% sure I knew the origin of the leak, I just needed expert confirmation as I know finding the true source of leaks can sometimes be less than straightforward. When I called, I was very impressed with their efficient and very professional operation.

They were able to dispatch Chris, one of their plumbers the very same day. A window of time for arrival was given and Chris was right on time.

Chris proceeded through a set of detailed observations and diagnostics (testing to see if the leak could be replicated). Unable to reproduce the leak, Chris then examined both the suspected toilet and shower which shared a wall.

Though no "smoking gun" was found, signs of water migration from incidental shower splashes behind the shower valve cover may have been the culprit. Being un-caulked, water could have easily made its way into the wall and traveled along the subfloor, giving the impression of a leaking toilet drain pipe.

Even though we were unable to determine the leak with absolute certainty, Chris's experienced and systematic approach to isolating the potential variables was excellent. Before he left, he applied some caulk around the valve cover where water was suspected of making its way in.

Going forward, he prescribed alternating use and disuse of the shower and toilet while keeping an eye out for further leaks. Hopefully, this will reveal the true source of the leak, assuming the caulk wasn't the simple solution.

Given the time and thorough troubleshooting Chris did, I was impressed with his methodology. A less experienced plumber or one just looking to make a quick buck might have very well just replaced the toilet line and called it a day, only for the leak to have returned.

It was clear both Chris and Die Hard Plumbing in general, are concerned with doing the job "right," or not at all. I can appreciate this as the last thing a homeowner wants, is to waste time and money fixing things that don't actually need to be fixed.

I will keep an eye on the leak (which has so far not retuned) and will not hesitate to call Die Hard Plumbing (and Chris) again should further investigation or fixes be needed! We had a problem and they arrived on time and repaired the pipes. I saw their truck around town and thought I'd give them a try and I am so glad that I did.

Very professional. I will use them again! Had a hot water line break under my slab, called AAA Homeowners Ins to help me out and they recommended Die Hard.

Unfortunately didn't cover any of the cost since there was no damage, but that's a another review... Mike and Chris came out, located where the leak was and where all the access points would be to re-route the plumbing.

Gave me a great price and did all of the work in under 6 hours. Since the re-routing was all done through interior walls and ceilings they kept the damage and access points to a minimum and sealed everything back up until I can get the walls repaired and painted.

It's hard to find honest people in almost any industry, especially in specialized services, I mean what do I know about hot water heaters? I was so impressed with Mike, he showed up right on time, was friendly as well as professional and very knowledgeable. My mother's hot water heater works fine, but I knew she had never had it serviced so I figured it was about time.

After checking it out, Mike told me that based on the age of the unit (roughly 30 years) it was best to just let her live out the rest of her life without being disturbed. Basically however things were working it was best not to mess with it.

He gave me advice on what to look for should a problem arise, it's definitely a when not if situation, then gave me a general estimate of what we'd be looking at when the time came. I was fully expecting to pay some sort of a fee for him coming to check it out, but Mike said there was no charge for the estimate, so very generous, especially considering my mother is a senior citizen on a fixed income.

We called Die Hard Plumbing as more than three plumbers were called to fix an issue with my plumbing over 2 yrs ago. I just gave up until I decided to call Die Hard Plumbing yesterday.

They sent Chris to my place and he was very knowledgeable and fixed the issue. This is a great company.

Check them out! Die Hard saved my ass when I refused to get scammed by Roto-Rooter. I had a late-evening clog that had resulted in sewage backing up into my master bathroom tub and shower, and tried calling local AV area plumbers who advertised 24/7 emergency service.

2 of them never answered multiple calls and the one who answered, the guy sounded 90% asleep or drunk at 9:30 pm, said he was on double time, and made it clear he didn't want to come out. Desperate, I called Roto-Rooter.

I'll save most of my experience with them for a review on them, but they failed to clear the clog and told me they would need to come back in the morning to hydrojet for $2300. They also told me my backflow valve was stuck and broken, and recommended I have them remove it (not replace, only remove which would leave me out of code when I need to sell) for another $2500.

Instead, I called Die Hard who came out the same day, and confirmed that nearly everything Roto-Rooter had said was a lie (other than the fact that they had failed to remove the clog). Die Hard confirmed the valve was in fine condition, the clog was neither in the location or composed of the material that Roto-Rooter had claimed, and removed the clog with their snake, no hydrojetting required.

The lead tech showed me the camera view of my pipes as far as the camera would go, 84'. I only wish Die Hard offered 24/7 service, as I'm sure I would've just called them first and never had to deal with Roto-Rooter.

I called Die Hard plumbers after I noticed my upstairs toilet wouldn't shut off after being flushed. Kevin contacted me the next day and set an appointment.

He showed up early the next day. The toilet fill valve had to be replaced and the shut off valve had to be replaced.

Kevin preformed the repairs in about 20 mins. He also sealed a small leak on my bathtub faucet.

Just for reference, that toilet cost us $99 at Home Depot and $375 to do minor repairs!!! Jake came out and took care of 5-6 plumbing needs at our new house.

I'm a little late to review, but I've had a number of subsequent experiences with them for other plumbing needs, so I can speak to both a range of services and the longevity of the re-piping as well. First off, Mick is very responsive and straight forward, and he takes customer satisfaction very seriously.

He seems to take a lot of pride in having taken over the family business and often refers to the origins of the business and what his father did to build it, and I think that sense of responsibility is a source of his integrity. I say this all because if you've ever needed a large job done, you know dealing with contractors can be challenging, so integrity and trust are at the top of my list when I ask for quotes and price is second (which incidentally they are competitive on as well).

For the re-piping, they removed all the old piping in a 4-unit building and replaced it with American copper, which they cover with a warranty for so long I don't even remember. At least 25 years.

They got in within the week, and finished the job in about a week as well, including drywall. We never had any complaints from tenants about anyone or anything.

Basically, they got in, did their job, and got out. In a residential building, that is paramount.

Mick even made sure they put in new faucets, etc, that may have had debris from the old pipes, which I thought was a nice touch. There were a few little touch-up things required after the fact, which is to be expected, and Mick immediately sent people out to attend to them without any hesitation.

He even showed up himself on a Sunday to check a water heater issue. And we haven't had a single problem with the new pipes since.

Since then, Mick is always my first call when we need anything piping-related. They've unclogged multiple drains, fixed a leaky shower.

I've never waited more than a couple hours for someone to show up, and everyone that's come through has been good at their jobs, efficient and just generally nice. As a property owner, I don't want to shop around every time something comes up with 100 year old plumbing.

On 9/28/22 we had a toilet back up, and based on their excellent reviews I called for help and was given an appointment 3-5pm....great! There was a mix-up with several customers having the same first name, but after a call at 5pm I was told the tech was on the way....and he arrived around 530pm and was done in 10 minutes. Thank you.

We discovered tree roots in our old cast iron pipes buried below our foundation. We were petrified that this would cost us an arm and a leg.

We interviewed 6 different plumbers for the job and Mick from RPR quoted us the best price out of them all. Not only that, but Mick's approach was by far the most labor intensive of the different solutions that were offered by other plumbers but by far the best since we ended up with brand new pipes.

I'm just like a previous reviewer, I like to do my homework! Five solid stars, per yelp "Wooohoo! As good as it gets!"--perfect description here! I had a few projects around the house that needed attention, nothing that was an emergency. I had a few plumbers come out.

One took notes and said he'd call me with a quote, welp that never happened. Second guy also took notes and emailed me a quote.

He bid was incomplete and everything as a stand alone: $110 for this. $500 for that, $225 for the other, yipes! With Randall he was already here for a major job so gave me a by the hour on the other simpler work, even down to 1/2 hr increments, I thought that was more than fair.

Randal came ON TIME, called once he was on the way from another job, emailed back to confirm, I mean, this guy is a true pro! He's friendly (with out being too familiar). He's respectful of my time and home and (yes) my budget.

He bid on the work with a very fair rate. One job in particular was going to be tricky and potentially VERY costly (I knew that from talking to the other two guys).

I gave the work to him and he was meticulous with his work, and it went as good as could be expected with none of the potential pitfalls, whew that would have made the job even more complicated! He even quickly put in another shutoff valve so we wouldn't be without water for the day. I finally got all the work done by someone I like, respect and trust, wow, doesn't get much better than that! I will be using him again as needed, I'm done with my search, he's my go-to plumber from now on yippee! Randall is someone who takes pride in his work and will not sacrifice on the quality of his work to get it done.

Very honest, experienced and reasonable costs. It's a great feeling when you find someone you know you can trust to call again and recommend to others.

If you're reading this review, you're probably like me. You have a plumbing problem you don't want to get worse, Google searches yielded too many results, and so you're trying Yelp, but it's hard to tell if the reviews are truly legitimate.

My experience with Randall was like having a knowledgeable friend come over to do my plumbing. Take it from a guy who went as far as reading the histories of other Yelper's reviews to make sure they weren't shills (enjoy mine!).

Without reservation, I recommend him. Just like the other reviews say, Randall is a total professional and wonderful at what he does.

We called him in for a second estimate on running a gas line for our BBQ. The first plumber was recommended by our home inspector and he quoted a price that seemed rather high so I wanted a second opinion.

Not only was Randall's quote less than half what the other plumber estimated, he also debunked a lot of what the first plumber was telling us about our gas lines. Randall was on time for both the initial estimate and install appointments.

He explained everything thoroughly and in terms we could understand, and he was a pleasure to have in our home which you unfortunately cannot say about every contractor. He even dealt graciously with our barking, crazy dogs.

I'll never call another plumber in again. Randall's officially our guy now! Thank you Yelp for giving regular people a resource to find reputable trades for home repairs and improvements.

I called him on a Wednesday, to install a tankless water heater and he came over on Friday, he spent a couple of hours to find the best place to put it in( everyone else took 15 minutes and wanted to install in the same place as the existing water heater). It was a little tricky but he found the best place.

Later, he managed to slot me in not two weeks after in July ( height of renovation season). The tankless was installed in about two days; heremoved the existing water heater, cleaned up and it passed inspection - no problem.

It works beautifully. Randall was easy to work with, pretty adaptable and he actually likes his job unlike the rest of us ;) He takes a lot of pride in the job.

Highly recommend him. I was looking for a plumber to do some work on our new house.

Asking friends didn't turn up any strong recommendations though. I looked to my fellow yelpers, and Randall Plumbing seemed to stand out.

Thanks Randall. We had Randall back to replace a clogged dishwasher drain hose and to replace a tub diverter spout that was no longer diverting well.

He did both jobs quickly and efficiently, even when the original installers hadn't done as good a job as they could have towards ease of future maintenance... Randall's work was clean and neat, he explained everything he was doing and why, and he took away all the old, worn parts & pieces that were trash - though leaving us the original tub diverter spout, since that could still have some value.

He even respects our no-shoes policy and leaves his shoes outside the front door. Truly as good as it gets for plumbing experience, service, knowledge, friendliness, and fair pricing.

I cannot say enough about Randall. He did the plumbing for a bathroom remodel we did late last year.

I was doing all the work myself, but plumbing is beyond my expertise so I decided to outsource that to the experts. Randall was perfect.

I asked for a lot of things that are far outside the proverbial "box." Randall put a drain in the floor below a clawfoot tub and worked expertly with very high end plumbing fixtures for the tub. They supply lines and shower plumbing we used are all exposed chrome so any small mistake would be highly visible.

Further, the tub and plumbing went in with less than a .25 inch clearance from the wall and went onto marble tile over a poured concrete pan. All of this is waaay outside of a normal bathroom remodel (I never manage to do anything the easy way!).

Randall was just perfect. He installed everything perfectly.

All of this required him to work at a custom level which he could not have done better. His fee was very reasonable considering the scope of the project.

And on top of all that he is a great guy as well. I cannot recommend Randall highly enough.

His sound advice help save us hundreds of dollars. We had a bad smell coming out of our kitchen and bathroom that came and went from time to time.

We had other plumbers come in and recommend service that was basically an up sell and we even bought one of them on a new "P" pipe only to find out it wasn't the issue at all. Randall came in and saw the issue that another plumber found and quoted us less.

The issue was our laundry drain was simply draining into the dirt under our house and was not connected. Since we were on a slab foundation this cost to break the ground and access the pipe was the option that another plumber gave us.

Costing us hundreds more to fix. Randall with his creative thinking said to run the pipe outside and connect to another drain line which was genius.

It saved us a lot and especially time with having to break the floor in our house to reach the pipe. Randall took care of this all in one day.

Randall is a true professional and is a straight shooter meaning he won't beat around the bush. He'll tell you straight up and give you an honest price.

All the plumbing was a mash of galvanized and badly redone copper. Waste lines were likewise badly done, and rotten.
