Review and analyze now for company Flood Brothers Plumbing Studio City and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''We had a problem with our kitchen sink this last week and called Flood Brothers for help given their amazing reviews on Yelp. Sure enough, they came out within hours and didn't make us wait nervously for days to get an appointment like the other places I contacted for help had wanted me to do.
Even better, Ken came out and diagnosed the problem and was honest, genuine, and took the time necessary to be thorough and make sure what the problem was. He didn't try to rush it, and once he understood what was wrong, explained it to me in a way that a non-plumber like myself would understand.
Ken was not only helpful and knowledgeable, but he was also just a pleasure to have around with a great attitude and demeanor. He made what could be a difficult nerve wracking experience into something pleasurable and dare I say enjoyable.
I will definitely be using this company again, and I will definitely be requesting they send out Ken again the next time something comes up. Overcharged for some finish work that was poorly executed.
Unfortunately, wish we got a second opinion before they told us we *had to* cut our tile on the spot to "make the tub spout fit". When our tile guy came to complete the project he told us that he's never seen a plumber do an installation like this and that the tub spout should be sitting flush on the tile, not set into the wall, and that they should have added an adapter to make it fit properly.
We had to add caulking around the faucet to make it look decent, though it is not at all what I wanted it to look like. This is a huge bummer as we saved up a long time for this renovation project and we went with them because of all of the great reviews.
We likely won't work with them again after this. We recently had Tracy install our parents water filtration system and we couldn't be more pleased with the service.
Tracy was incredibly efficient and knowledgeable, quickly diagnosing and resolving the issue with the lines. The communication throughout the process was excellent, keeping us informed every step of the way.
We highly recommend Tracy for any plumbing needs - a true professional! Will be using again. I could not get a hold of my usual plumber and was getting very worried about my leaking toilet! Flood Brothers was the first/highest rated to come up in my search for my area (Studio City) I submitted a request through Yelp and by the end of the day I had a response where I was then able to call and make an appointment for the next day.
Brandon came out and was able to fix both the leak and replace the old parts inside the toilet (fill valve). He was very thorough in his explanation and very thorough in the prep of protecting the rest of the flooring which I really appreciated.
All done within an hour! For how quickly they were able to come out to me and get the repair done, it was a very good price. Will definitely get in touch if I need any other future plumbing repairs.
My kitchen sink got clogged. The Plumber was prompt, unclogged the sink and was very thorough.
I will definitely use them again. The service was great - they showed up extremely quickly, fixed the problem, and cleaned up afterwards.
They even worked with me on the cost and were more than fair. Customer service followup was excellent.
All around great experience. EXCELLENT company.
Ken came out to our house, diagnosed our exact problem, didn't try and con us into anything beyond what was necessary. I had seen two other plumbers before him and they couldn't fix our dishwasher.
Ken to the rescue! Thank you for a terrific experience Flood Brothers, cannot recommend enough! Today, I encountered every local business owner's nightmare: flooding from the floor drains in my restrooms. In sheer panic, I called Flood Brothers Plumbing, and to my relief, Geo and his stellar crew were on-site within 30 minutes.
Their efficiency and expertise were evident from the moment they arrived. They quickly identified a blockage in the mainline - a potential disaster that could have shut down my business.
But thanks to their swift action, the crisis was averted. What stood out was not just their plumbing skills, but also their cleanliness and attention to detail.
They left the area spotless, making it hard to believe that a plumbing emergency had just occurred there. But the exceptional service didn't end there.
The communication throughout the project was top-notch, with multiple follow-up calls to keep me in the loop. Even the owner personally called to ensure my complete satisfaction - a rare gesture of genuine customer care in today's world.
If you're in need of a trustworthy, honest, and highly competent plumber, I wholeheartedly recommend Flood Brothers Plumbing. Their dedication to their work and clients is unparalleled.
Geo and his team didn't just fix a plumbing issue; they saved my business from a catastrophe. I'm beyond grateful and will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs.
Excellent work. Honest people.
We had a major problem and they helped fix everything with complete professionalism. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Ken and Flood Brothers! We called for a second opinion after discovering severe plumbing issues in our new home.
From the moment we met Ken, we knew he was the right fit for the job! He explained everything so clearly and was on time each day with a great crew working with him. They were all so kind and professional.
Ken also didn't hesitate to give us his cell number for any issues day or night during the repair process. Buying a house and immediately finding plumbing issues is never what you want haha but we truly felt that we were in such great hands with Ken and Flood Brothers.
We wouldn't hesitate to call them again for any future plumbing needs! Very responsive to calls, professional attitude, and efficient service! Thanks, Flood Brothers! Yelp had good reviews for this company so I decided to give them a try. Jeff was dispatched to my home for a quote to remediate a toilet overflow on my living room ceiling.
He is personable but his workmanship is sloppy and his crew is sloppy. To deal with the overflow, they initially created a container with painters tape.
Taped my ceiling and adjacent walls in an attempt to create a tight seal. The container partially fell the next day.
The employee who arrived to cut drywall couldn't even staple the container to the walls and ceiling because his staple gun was out of staples as I heard him tell his supervisor. Instead of finding a better solution, they used duct tape on my ceiling.
They also didn't address the painters tape on adjacent walls that rendered their container useless. There wasn't a tight seal and container was pointless.
Nothing was contained in that space. When all the duct tape was finally removed, it created additional damage to the damaged space.
It increased the drywall perimeter that needed to repaired. Because this was a stressful project, and wanted to get it over with, I signed on to make additional p-trap replacements to my plumbing.
SUCH A MISTAKE. They half repaired the water draining system on my bathtub shower combo.
They completed the work in the ceiling but didn't replace the parts in my tub. To access the area they needed, they cut additional jagged, unmeasured lines in my drywall ceiling.
More damage for me to repair. Over $2700 to replace two p-traps and they left the job incomplete.
Subsequently, I had to have a different plumber redo the "work" Jeff and his crew claimed to complete. Overall Flood Brothers crew were sloppy, semi-incompetent, and overpriced.
They created additional damages to my home that did NOT exist prior to their work. I would not recommend them for water remediation or plumbing repairs.
Hi. Guillo cleaned out my sink drain and also replaced the tub faucet.
He offered tips on basic plumbing which was useful After further consideration I have decided to update my previous rating for Flood Brothers from a 4 star to a 5 star. I rarely give 5 stars but I really find no fault with their service.
Had a total sewer blockage on a Sunday morning. They were there in 2 hours and unplugged everything.
Found the problem was a break in the pipe which they were able fix the following day. Prices were about what I saw elsewhere.
Very helpful staff who explained everything and went through all the alternatives to deal with this episode and what was needed so it never would happen again. Very impressed with the quality of the work.
After this recent rain storm, I noticed water starting to come up the drain in the shower in my downstairs bathroom after taking a shower in an upstairs bathroom and while doing a load of laundry at night. Not a good sign.
I went outside to check the clean out and just as I feared, water was seeping out. Ugh.
Definitely a clog somewhere in my pipes leading to the city sewer line. First thing I did when looking for a plumber was come to Yelp and Flood Brothers was the first place I called to get an estimate.
They gave me a quote that matched what I was charged by a plumber who took care of the same issue at my parents' house in the SF valley a while ago so no need to look any further and made an appointment with them right then and there. For same day plumbing appointments, I usually have to wait at least 2-3 hrs.
To my good fortune, they had a plumber in the area finishing a job and he was able to come over within the hour. The technician, Thomas, called before hand to let me know he was on the way.
So many times, I have service people who call AFTER they arrive at the work site even after I tell them to call me beforehand because sometimes I have to travel to meet them or need to prepare the area before they arrive. So this was a plus.
Well, the blockage was taken care of with a heavy duty motorized snake and during the procedure, Thomas broke out another tool that allowed him to detect the approximate location of the blockage. Definitely something I was glad I left to the professionals and didn't try to do it myself by renting a snake from a hardware store.
When all was said and done, Thomas mentioned that there were some other things he noticed regarding the condition of the pipe while running the camera through it after clearing the blockage to the city sewer and that I probably should look have checked out more thoroughly. I appreciated his thoroughness in the matter since he also took the time to check the pipes in the crawlspace underneath the house to make sure there weren't any other defects or leaks and while doing that noticed some electric wires that were in junction boxes that were not closed up.
Highly recommended! Called as our sink and tub faucets had come loose and were inoperable. I was quickly able to schedule an appointment and Philip who showed up early and was awesome.
He repaired both within 10 minutes and I could not be happier. We have used Flood Brothers for years for both small and massive plumbing projects and they have been nothing short of incredible.
Fantastic quality, customer service and easy to work with. Love this team! Flood Brothers replaced all of the gas lines in our home when we first moved in and did a fine job.
A few years later they unclogged a drain for me with no charge, simply because I was an existing customer. I've always had great interactions with them and they have been my first call.
This week, however, when the pilot light on my water heater wouldn't stay lit, they recommended I replace the unit, saying it was old and would likely give me more problems. When I pressed them, they gave me a quote for a new thermal couple and said they couldn't warranty the work since the unit was so old.
I received a second opinion from another plumbing company and they replaced the thermal couple for about 1/3 the cost that Flood Brothers quoted me, and included a six-month warranty on their work. I contacted the company on Friday, and they scheduled the visit for Monday morning.
I was very happy with the turn around time. Then everything went downhill, at full speed...
Andy was sent out to provide a quote for changing an outside compression hose bibb that was leaking. Andy told my son that all the piping had to be replaced unless he could remove just the hose bibb from the pipe which would "not be likely" because it was "so damaged".
My son asked him to send me the pricing for the work. First quote was for about $1200 IF he could remove JUST the hose bibb and replace it.
The second quote was for $1600 if he had to change out all the piping which was more than likely to be the case, according to his statements. We had a second plumber scheduled for a quote the same day.
American Plumbing quoted $175 and could do the work on the spot. Joseph was done in less than 15 minutes.
The work included some light soldering which was the only reason we could not replace the hose bibb ourselves. The work was completed perfectly, and we no longer have a leak.
My husband contacted Flood Brothers and received a call back from a supervisor who said he has been with the company since 2014. The supervisor stated that Andy had just started working with them a few weeks ago and that they would never up charge so much.
The supervisor stated that Andy said we needed a full replacement of all the pipes and that was the reason for the price. Then he accepted this was not the case since American Plumbing was able to complete the task, so he offered my husband free services because he wanted us as "customers" and he was very sorry about the situation.
Thanks, but NO freaking thanks. Our impression was that Andy saw a young son and mom dealing with a plumbing issue and assumed that mom would pay $1200 plus for a job that could be done in 15 minutes because I would not know any better.
Shocking that this happens, and I am sure has happened to many of their customers. Do not do business with this group.
Bunch of thieves trying to hose (pun intended) innocent people of their hard-earned money. Go elsewhere and save yourself the aggravation.
0/0 Would NOT RECOMMEND. Giovanni and his team are the best.
They are prompt, professional and you will feel like you are in good hands from the start to the end. I can not make a stronger professional recommendation.
So this was nice to have happen, the last review pretty much explained why I left a 1 star review. And like I said in that review I was severely taken back by the reply I got when I called about the clog coming back hours after the snaking and a person on the phone telling me I would need to 0ay again and with additional fees and so on Well while I was now, being the building manager, dealing with an annoyed tenant and a trying to CMB with the building owner I got a call from (I think Jessy, a supervisor from what he said) that the person who told me that I would bee charged all over again and with additional fees was in the wrong with that followed with the Floor Brothers helping to get the drain going and me not having to have an upset tenant over the weekend.
With that I changed it to 3, I wish there was a way to go with 3.5. Like I also said in the previous review I had used the flood brother 3 times before and everything worked out perfectly making the last one, that was not the best, the 4th.
I was very happy that I ended up getting the help and the flood brothers stood by their work. Would I use them again, I think so.
Mike I've used Flood Bros for several plumbing issues, and they are always great, but today really made my day. I had a leak under my kitchen sink.
He came on time, and in less than 5 minutes fixed the issue--one of the gaskets was loose. He tightened it and explained everything.
He checked the piping, and said it was all good. When I asked how much I owed (I thought at least for the service call), he said, "No charge--when it's easy like this, Flood Brothers takes care of you".
Now, that's great, old-fashioned service. I definitely recommend Flood Brothers for all plumbing issues.
I'm writing this to acknowledge a gentleman named Tommy. I'm not sure exactly how to find the office he works out of here on Yelp, but he left a great first impression of Flood Brothers.
We have American Home Shield as our home warranty/insurance and the contractors they work with are hit or miss. They've definitely been miss for our last few jobs.
Tommy was a professional, and made sure to at least acknowledge any of the service requests that we had. We needed a leaky faucet cartridge replaced in our master bathroom and the last company sent out a person that just didn't want to do the job.
He was just low effort and bare minimum service. I ordered the piece, and of course, due to supply chain and Covid it took over 2 months to receive.
I was willing to wait for it and order it because before Tommy, another plumber said "the part isn't made any more, you can't change it without destroying the whole counter.". As soon as I received the parts we made the appointment for Flood Brothers.
We were referred to Flood Brothers and I'm glad that they are now on our radar. Tommy changed our cartridge, replaced our drop in shower head piece, and made an effort to help us fix our toilet handle.
He also explained the sounds that our reverse osmosis filter makes to appease my better half. Some of the issues I could have fixed myself, but I've come to realize that there are certain people that are just better and more qualified than me.
If I did any of the things that Tommy did, then my home would be Flood brother and sister. I appreciate Tommy doing the requested jobs and explaining everything.
He couldn't repair the toilet handle based upon parts that I ordered, but at least he made the effort. There was a point when I was on a work call and while he was explaining everything to my better half I could hear him telling her what and why.
Although I wasn't available when he left I felt good about the job that he did and hope he is recognized for his efforts. I gave him a call to gain clarity on what I believed to be the issue with my toilet handle/flapper.
He could have been dismissive, but he listened and provided some guidance on what I may need to order if I decide to do it myself. Gotta give him props and I know I'll be referring others to Flood Brothers as they were referred to me.
These guys are great and have excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend for any job big or small, super helpful, reasonably priced, genuinely appreciated the support For some insane to me reason, plumbers are super booked just before the Christmas holidays with people wanting their plumbing checked BEFORE it can get blocked up.
Let that sit in your head for a minute YUK!!! So, I was having a dickens of a time finding someone available to unblock my kitchen sink (after an unruly albeit fun as all hell, family dinner party the week b4 Christmas. When I contacted Flood Bros.
the person who answered was so helpful ans managed to squeeze me in the next afternoon. The plumber was really thorough, fast, and very nice too boot.
It was the best thing that happened that entire day. After two days of champagne, wine glasses and stacks of plates stacked around my usually clean kitchen I could use my garbage disposal and dishwasher again!! Cue the hallelujah chorus.
I will use them solely in future and def recommend FLOOD Bros. These guys were awesome and honest! I booked my bathtub drain to be fixed after spending hours of frustration trying to do it myself.
Brandon came within a day and fixed it within 20 minutes. He was quick, highly skilled and friendly.
Highly recommend these guys! Jerry from Flood Brothers called me and fixed the problem, his work is GREAT! Please disregard my previous review. Philip saved me one night (in pitch darkness) after a pipe burst in my yard and began flooding the property along with my neighbors.
Philip responded immediately when I called. He rushed right over to shut off my water and returned as promised the following morning with his crew to repair the pipe.
They were all so kind and professional. They did a really great job! BEWARE OF OVERSELLING! Two star because the team did come out right away and was very responsive.
I called them from Yelp reviews when we had an emergency overflow situation. However, they initially put a camera down but did not take a video (which is unusual) and then told us there was major issues with the construction of the pipes and we needed $5k worth of digging JUST to assess the problem.
And they made us feel it was so urgent it needed to happen the very next day or else we couldn't use any water in our house at all. This all felt weird to me to I got a second opinion from the crew who we had used several years ago, which I had to wait a week for but was worth it...
they put a camera down and found none of the same issues, it was a very simple fix, and they warned us that "emergency " plumbers can do this sort of overselling. They have crews always available to work emergencies, but that also means they need to find work for their crews every day whether there's a real emergency or not.
Just had Flood Brothers come out to help me with a bad smell coming from my washing machine. They were polite, kind and listened intently to my concerns.
After inspection of the unit, they explained to me how to properly clean the washer and the filter to rid it of the smell. They also helped me with an additional concern coming from my sink....All for no charge! These guys were two of the most honest and kind people who have ever stepped into our home! Will definitely use them in the future! We have been looking for years for a go-to plumber.
We've tried dozens of different plumbers/companies. Some were good, some not so good, and some who were just looking for ways to upsell you.
Tony from Flood Brothers Plumbing just came by. On a scale of 1 to 5, this guy was a 10.
We've had an ongoing, running water issue with 4 (now discontinued) Toto toilets that 3 other plumbers advised us to replace. Tony took the time to figure out that our (older) flapper (design) used spacers, and that it could be the source of our issue.
He removed the spacers. We're now going to see if that solves the problem.
If not, I'll have him come out again. Next, one of our sink drains was leaking.
Tony discovered that the plumber who installed this new drain used plumber putty (not good) to repair a cracked piece on the P-trap instead of (getting and) installing an undamaged P-trap. I now know what P-trap to buy and he explained how to easily install it.
Last, I'm a sucker for new devices that give you visibility into how much water, electricity, etc., we're using as a household. As a result, I got the new Flume device from LADWP, and we unfortunately figured out that I won't be able to use on our water meter.
But as a bonus, Tony then showed me how to turn off the water to the whole house in case of emergency. I have never had a plumber experience where the plumber took time to understand and diagnose each problem, explaining his observations along the way.
All I can say is that our search for a go-to plumber is over. Tony and Flood Brothers Plumbing is the way to go! I had to leave this review because Daniel from this company was an absolute gem, I called in a panic last night about a water leak from my water heater line.
He came over after hours and turned off my hot water line to stop the active leaking. Then got a leak detection company to come out today that found the leak! I was thrilled to have caught it before mold got inside the walls.
Daniel is a lifesaver Had an emergency pipe burst, they came and quickly diagnosed the problem. Helped...
Clean up... And in the rain did a rush job to dig deep in the ground completely rebuild the pipe and get fixed up for some other pipes that were not far behind.
Communicated very well, and showed me every step of the process so i understood it all. Another review for another great plumbing job! Leon came to our aid to clear out a blockage in our pipes and he cleaned hair from our shower drains.
He was informative and incredibly kind and did such a great job. I highly recommend Flood Brothers! I discovered at 6pm Friday evening that our water meter at the street was flooded.
Searched yelp to find a plumber and Flood Brothers popped up. I called and was put in touch with Tommy quickly.
Thankfully Tommy was able to come out and arrived about 45 min later. Tommy diagnosis the problem and we decided that we fix it the next morning.
He arrived earlier than our schedule time a was able to fix my leak with an hour. I was very impressed! Definitely will be using this company and Tommy in the future.
I needed a plumber to come and replace some old piping, outdated water lines and knobs and changing old faucets. After looking at a few plumbing companies, Flood Brothers Plumbing came in first.
I was assigned Brandon for my job and had a pleasant, professional and courteous experience with him. Flood Brothers Plumbing had a competitive estimate, but fair, they were here on time, did a good job and were flexible with their working hours.
Brandon's team took their time and did the job in one day without any problems. When it came to billing the process was easy and no surprise at the end.
I would recommend Brandon and his team to anyone with confidence. Flood Brothers saved me on more than one occasion and I am so very grateful to them for their help.
Phillip was AMAZING and is my hero. He is awesome.
If you're considering hiring the Flood Brothers, DO IT. You will be very impressed with their work and meticulous attention to details.
I'm SO GLAD I found them and will continue to recommend them and hire them in the future. They're life savers! The main reason I will give any business a 1 star is if they try to rip me off and boy did this company try! We had a leak outside due to a faulty regulator.
The employee came and told us our water heater was faulty and leaking(because the regulator was broken, not any other reason) and that we needed major work. He gave us quotes for 7k, 9k or 15k! We had another plumber come and he said it was a faulty Regulator(big surprise) and it cost us $400 to fix it.
Be VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY! It wasn't double or triple, they tried to REALLY rip us off. This was straight robbery.
We had previously used Flood Bros and had planned on giving them a good review for their professionalism and for giving us what we thought was a decent quote on replacing the underground sewage pipes at our new home. We completed that roughly 10k project with them a few months ago and I thought maybe we would use them as our go-to plumbers.
While the new home is under construction, we are continuing to live in our old home which recently had a laundry sink that was backed up. The tech they sent out quoted us thousands of dollars to descale the pipes and $2500 just to hydrojet it (it eventually came down to $1500).
Having owned several businesses in the past, I know I used to get my commercial restaurant pipes hydrojetted for $600 so $1500 for residential hydrojetting is outrageous. We ended up calling TipTop and they hydrojetted the line for $400.
I no longer trust the pricing quoted by Flood Brothers and will not be calling them again. Problem - wanted to install a bidet but water pipe was stuck.
Called Flood Brothers. James came by.
Solution - he finished the bidet install quickly, in less than 20 mins. Thanks a mil, James! This company had fast and friendly service with great customer support.
I really appreciate there hard work and honesty. Phillip was nothing short of spectacular.
Called me morning of appointment with arrival time update, thus narrowing my 4-hr window to 15 minutes! Professional, amiable, and clean, job was done quickly and brilliantly. I couldn't be more satisfied! I usually shop around when hiring plumbers, but this is the second time I've had a stellar experience with Flood Brothers.
I am a customer for life!! Phillip came to help me cap a gas line since I was converting from a gas dryer to electric. So responsive and professional.
I have total confidence in the quality of his work. Pricing was more than fair.
Thank you Phillip! Jerry the manager is incredibly professional. I had my roof fixed under my 2 year warranty and he came through.
It was patched up to perfection. Also Chris who works at Flood brothers has always been so professional and great.
I trust them and I'll always call them if I need their help. David came to the rescue when a valve broke in my shower.
The problem was exacerbated as the water for the house had to be turned off on the hottest day of the year. This included the water for my irrigation system...
Denise at Flood Brothers assured me that they could have someone out in a few hours , but, to my delight, David called to say he was in the vicinity and would be by immediately. His calm demeanor and expertise was SO reassuring.
We discussed the possibility that I would have to sacrifice my vintage marble tiles and David went the extra mile by carefully removing the fixture and capping the valve enabling us to buy some time and figure out how best to address this problem. Thank you David for your soothing presence and reasonable bid.
So far so good I haven't done any work with them but they're very responsive extremely reliable we reliable very professional and Extremely helpful. I like when I ask questions and they have answers and they're not digging around shooting darts in the dark they were on it and we'll see where it goes thank you I've been using Flood Brother for the past few years for minor fixes and they always show up on time and are super respectful by putting booties on their shoes as the walk through the house.
Last year, the mainline to my house failed and they took care of it in less than 2 days. The better part of this story is that there was an unforeseen issue with the fix that was identified a year later.
They came back in, no questions asked and did the job over again. This was no small job! Brendan and his team continue to overdeliver and impress with the quality of their service and responsiveness.
I never call anyone else! In early August 2022, the toilet closest to the main line in the back yard wasn't flushing. I called Flood Brothers based on the good Yelp reviews.
The issue turned out to be a rooting problem. I have a beautiful, huge tree in the back yard with a massive root system.
The roots probably go further underground than the height of the tree. Phil and his assistant spend hours cleaning the pipes of a thick tangle of roots.
There may have been a pipe replacement, I can't remember. It cost $5,800, but I felt the hard work, expertise, length of time, etc.
warranted this amount. Phil told me their work was guaranteed, so if I have problems in the future, to give them a call.
Exactly four months later, the same toilet wasn't working. I called Flood Brothers again and explained the problem, saying this was the same symptom as what happened in August.
I was scheduled for the next day. When they called to confirm the next morning, I mentioned the 100%% satisfaction guarantee (subject to terms and conditions).
The lady on the phone put me on hold for a moment, then came back and said because it was the same issue, they wanted to send the same plumber as last time, so it would have to be scheduled for the next day. I told Phil that I was having the same problem.
First he went out to look at the main line; then he came in to look at the toilet. He said it was only a toilet blockage problem, which he fixed in short order; the main line was OK.
He said, "You're good to go!" and charged me nothing, not even a nominal charge for the service call. I highly recommend Flood Brothers.
This review is just based on the consultation experience. Unlike Red Lilly Plumbing who was awful and a no show for a consultation appointment even though I confirmed the day prior and day of, Jaime "Jimmy" Flores from Flood Brothers showed up promptly at 1 pm (I was given a window of 1 - 4), handed me his business card, had his Covid face mask on, and put on his shoe booties to assess & provide a quote on various work I needed around the condo.
I will need to compare other quotes, but so far, it is in line with another quote I received. Brandon came out to unclog a drain in a bathroom sink.
He had to reconfigure the drain pipes under the sink because they weren't properly installed. Brandon clearly communicated what had to be done and how much it would cost.
His team did the work in one day. Everything is working great now.
Thank you Brandon! Great response from the get go. The dispatcher was super nice and insured me someone would be out of the house today for our water leak.
Same day repair from Philip ran to another job picked up the parts and came back. He was incredibly nice and efficient.
Done well before I expected, especially with me, needing to call the day off. For me prices are always questionable with plumbing, so I don't know if it was a good deal, but in terms of efficiency and timeliness and quality of work A+.
I hope everyone is able to get Philip :-) Easy to work with and came on time! They rates were reasonable, the same as the other plumbers I called. I called Flood Brothers because the hot water in my house stopped working and they were very fast to come out.
This is the second time I have worked with Tommy and he has been nothing but amazing! I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and sense of urgency to get this issue fixed for us. This was by far the best experience with Flood Brothers and they are my go to if we ever have any more plumbing issues.
Keep up the good work Tommy! They just gave me a estimate to replace my toilet and guess what folks their ESTIMATE $1525. A regular standard non electric toilet.
That's with me providing the toilet. I think not.
This is late post sorry! This place came to our November 2 Phillip came so professional and nice he look at the problem which was our water heater broke there was water every where, he came he did have another job, he ask us what we wanted in a water heater we told him he went out bought put it in fixed to top where it attached put copper connections! He was wonderful and really nice! This is our go lot place from now on!! We had kind of a complicated plumbing issue that was compounding into other problems, and Flood Brothers was able to figure everything out and fix the root cause in an efficient and reliable way. Chris, Brendan, and their team were really cool, responsive, and knowledgeable.
I plan to call them for all our plumbing work. I had this company come out to do a basic shower drain unclogging.
They told me that because of the shape of the drain, it would cost $1200-$1500 dollars and they'd have to replace the pipes to get a normal snake down the drain. I wanted a second opinion before spending that much money to clear a clog and low and behold, the next company I called was able to snake the drain in under 20 minutes for a reasonable amount of money without mentioning any other issue.
These guys are either trying to rip off their customers or don't know how to do the basics of their job. I'd advise going elsewhere.
Flood Bros was prompt & reliable when I needed my bathtub diverter spout replaced. James is the best and my dog loved him too! First time using this company, based on good reviews online.
Called about a wobbly toilet and was able to get an appointment at a time that worked for me. Philip arrived on time and was very helpful.
He was able to solve the issue without having to resort to a more expensive repair, and was able to get additional parts and finish the job in about an hour. He left everything nice and clean afterwards.
Very efficient, super nice guy, would highly recommend! This is my first time using the service. Phillip was great, he took care of the problem very quickly! Very professional, clean and prompt service, thank you Phillip! Highly recommended!! What a great experience.
We had a main line backup and of all times for it to occur was Friday at 10 pm. We absolutely needed emergency service as we had guest staying with us and could not be without service.
They were so responsive. We were connected with their after hours technician who arrived within an hour.
Snaked the line but the blockage was too extensive so had to rerun the following morning with their hydro jetting team who knocked out the blockage in short order and very reasonable pricing. Brandon was an excellent communicator and straight forward.
Highly recommend them and if you get Brandon as your service rep that's icing on the cake. I called and they did get back to me but not as quickly as a few other companies.
During my review process on YELP I did post a positive review here in error. Give them a chance if you have a problem.
We had a plumbing emergency this morning. I called Flood Bros who helped us recently when our h/w heater died.
This review is long overdue. James came within an hour this am.
He explained what was wrong, what needed to be done, Got us thru the emergency & told us how to prevent from happening again. He is a pleasure to deal with.
I can't recommend James & Flood Bros more highly. Had an amazing experience with Flood Brothers.
All because of Phillip! He was on time, professional, answered all my questions and took time to explain everything to me. I called a plumber before who was unable to fix the issue.
Phillip knew exactly what to do and got the job done right away. Earned a customer for life.
Thanks Phillip! Highly recommend! Tommy was professional, punctual, & thorough! We had our downstairs tub fixed (as it was leaking) and they were able to quickly service the issue. They even ensured that there was no mess afterwards.
I cannot recommend Flood Brothers enough. They have assisted me through three bath and kitchen remodels, and have always been quick to respond, reliable, punctual, and professional in every way.
Brendan Lee has become my go-to plumber for any issues that arrive; you can't go wrong with he and the rest of the Flood Brothers' team. Last week I had a stopped up kitchen sink and called around to get quotes and estimated time.
I called three companies and they were all around the same price, but these guys got back to me within about ten minutes, and were able to get someone to my house within a few hours. That in and of itself was great, but when Mark arrived, I was very impressed.
Clean uniform, mask on, he put floor protectors on his shoes and was very professional. He found some food stuck in the p-trap, which was the immediate cause of our issue, and while he was down there, he went ahead and cleaned out the drain pipe and tightened down the faucets.
He then cleaned up under the sink and wiped down all the pipes, so everything looks like new. All around impressive performance from these guys, and I'd be delighted to call them again for any issues.
Highly recommended! I had a good experience using Flood Brothers. The plumber came in and fixed the problem quickly.
I was happy with the prompt service and resolution. I had a leak from the water main line on my property.
I called Flood Brothers and was extremely happy with their performance. Brandon Kelchner arrived on time, was extremely knowledgable and ensured the job was completed ASAP and for the fair price he quoted me.
I highly recommend these guys. Philip came out promptly on an emergency basis in the evening even after getting home from a full day of work.
He resolved the problem. Thank you for the service.
We didn't have any water in our building and all the tenants started calling us so we called Flood Brothers and Phil came out to help resolve the problem. Phil was very professional and spent the time to help figure out the problem.
He was very pleasant and courteous. We would definitely call him out again and also recommend him and his company.
We are very pleased with the work that Flood Brothers Plumbing did for us when we needed our sewer line repaired. Tommy was the plumber who came to our house to check out the job and give an estimate.
He was pleasant to work with form the very start and was very informative about the process and also very reasonable. He was able to get us scheduled right away, which was wonderful for us.
His crew came out and did a great job (he he city inspector agreed). My husband is not easy to please, but he was very pleased with their work when they left.
We will definitely feel confident calling Tommy & Flood Brothers again for future plumbing needs. Even though it's stressful having to have such major work done on one's property they made it very smooth and painless.
Philip was great! He came out to my house to check out a leak in my bathroom, initially he suggested just tightening the bolts of the toilet to see if that will do it (to save me from changing a toilet if I didn't need to). I still got leaks that night but my toilet didn't feel wet so I got a leak specialist to come out to make sure it wasn't coming from inside the walls.
Good thing it wasn't! So Philip came back a second time to change out some of the mechanics instead of the entire toilet, saving me lots of money! Now my toilet is as good as new! He was punctual, worked with my baby's sleep schedule, and finished the jobs quickly. The staff I spoke on the phone with were all super nice, helpful and always got back to me really fast! I would definitely be hiring Flood Brothers again! Tommy showed up on time and wrote booties to enter.
He fixed the leak under the kitchen sink in no time and didn't charge me for the service. I'm constantly impressed with this company.
I've relied on them for years now. They take great care of my family.
5 stars! I was helped by junior who came in less than an hour. I had issues with my toilet and he helped solved my issues immediately.
Junior took the time to answer all the questions I had before asking for payment. Couldn't recommend him any more.
Really nice guy and I am super appreciative of him coming on such short notice at night Great service and communication! We had a problem with our sink being clogged and they fixed it in under 5 minutes. They were super friendly and professional and we overall had a great experience with them.
Will definitely be using their services in the future! Overall 10/10 service. 5 stars are not enough.
We called on a Sunday and they were quick to respond. Jeff showed up and was attentive, thorough, and professional.
He ended up really going above and beyond throughout the project. And the rest of the crew was polite and professional.
I'm not exaggerating when I say it was an absolute clinic in customer service. Bravo Jeff, and bravo Flood Brothers! Flood Brothers were able to do same day service.
Junior came out with his face mask and fixed the leak coming from the copper pipe of the hot water tank. The power for the entire building went out and Junior was working by the light of his phone.
He gave me great advice on restoring power to the building. Junior was kind and professional.
He promised to come out tomorrow and check the water meter to see if there's a leak somewhere. Now that's an amazing service! I had a toilet issue today, and thankfully, Denise, Flood Brothers's scheduler was able to send James this afternoon.
James is a gem! He checked all the toilets in the house at my request. James cleared out my clogged toilet, disinfected the bowl, and then asked me for a toilet brush and cleaned the bowl! He had brought his own black plastic bag for containing any waste water, and was wearing booties and gloves.
I was very pleased with the wonderful service, and attention to detail. James is a splendid representative of Flood Brother's Plumbing.
Our kitchen sink backed up. Chris came out right away to snake the drain and assess the issue, which turned out to be a much bigger problem.
He explained everything in a logical manner and gave us a list of options. Will definitely use again in the future to fix our issue.
Friendly and honest. Definitely recommend.'''.
