Shame on me for falling behind on several of my Yelp reviews and for letting so much time elapsed since Giovanni from HHS Plumbing came over our house, back on September 3rd, 2021. But frankly, I had to write this review to recognize the great services that I was provided with, because it is absolutely deserved.
So better late than never! From the beginning in mid-August I had contacted HHS, I got nothing but great service: scheduling with Victoria was smooth and easy and communication with many answers to my questions from Giovanni was happening regularly. "D Day" (i.e.
installation day) finally arrived and Giovanni came over our house to install a utility sink in our garage. Giovanni arrived on time and was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and respectful of our home.
Our project ended up being a much more involved project than what I anticipated. I thought that we had water connection in the area where I wanted the sink, which was not the case.
Giovanni proposed 3 solutions to our dilemma. We picked one of the solutions, which would involve more work on his part.
A 4 hour project turned into an all-day project (8 hours to be exact) because of what I had selected. Giovanni did an outstanding job installing the new sink/cabinetry, faucet and brand new copper lines to the water heater.
He ended up working until 8 pm on a Friday, because he was so conscientious and dedicated. He would not leave the job until everything was done to his satisfaction.
And he did all this with a great and positive attitude, despite the longer and harder day of work than anticipated! This sink was an absolute life saver for the following 4 months during our kitchen remodel. Also his pricing was more than fair and it was actually refreshing meeting a plumber who was not all about money, like it is so often the case...
He took a lot of pride in a job well done, which is also very rare. And his final work definitely reflects his high business ethics! I will absolutely call Giovanni again for our plumbing needs and I highly recommend him for your plumbing projects.

Due to a foot injury, Giovanni had to take a short break from work to heal. So I decided to wait two long months to have him fix my instant hot water faucet, because I couldn't trust any of the other plumbers I reached out to that required a minimum visitation fee without providing any kind of range on what the job *might* cost.
So for two agonizing months, I had to boil my own water the old fashioned way on the stove top. I know.

The install required a matching part, that was missing from my previous install and he went to his truck and got what he needed. He just built that into the install pricing he gave me.
No added cost. He took the care to ensure the fixture was at the right angle to the countertop by checking in with me during the install to ensure I was happy with it.
He also put some measures in place to strengthen the pull down part of the kitchen faucet because he was anticipating the potential for future loosening. Oh, and the install was done within 40 mins! 5 stars - safety.

I reached out to ask if they could help seal off a drain from my laundry sink in my garage that we took out. They responded very quickly and got back to me with the most reasonable estimate of what it would cost me for them to do the job.
They turned out to be the most reasonably priced amongst 7 other plumbing companies I contacted. But wait there's more! When they came back with their cost estimate, the owner also specified that he could definitely come out to do the job but also shared that our drain was something we could easily do ourselves if we wanted to.

Once Giovanni came out to my house this past Thursday, he was very upfront about the cost and even did the calculation for all the labor in front of me which I really appreciated. He replaced three sinks for me and was very professional the whole time (and was even friendly and tolerant to my ultra nosy cats who wanted to "help" him in each bathroom).

I will definitely be calling Giovanni again! I have used HHS twice now, and received exceptional service both times. The first time, we had a clog in our rental unit that was causing the kitchen sink to fill up when the residents used the shower (???).
Giovanni came out very quickly, cleared the clog, and cleaned the area better than it was when he started. He also went above and beyond, replacing pipes under the sink that were a bit leaky using better materials.
I insisted that he charge us for the extra work (after all finding a leak and fixing it early saves a lot in the long run), but he didn't charge us a penny more than what was quoted for just the clog issue. More recently, I got a call from my HOA saying there was some water accumulating near my condo cluster and they were 99% sure it was coming from my place cause my meter was constantly moving.
I was suspicious of the explanation since my house wasn't that close to the pool of water that was collecting so had HHS come out. Giovanni first ruled out that the collecting water was coming from my property.
He then determined my meter was moving because of a minor issue with my toilet. Rather than try to push his services, he told me it was a simple fix ($10 part from Home Depot) that I could replace myself.
I opted to go that route, but Giovanni still wrote paperwork up for me to send to my HOA saying my house was not the cause. This was AFTER he already knew that he wasn't going to get any money off of the visit.
It's rare these days to find a plumber that will do an in-person assessment and estimate for free. It's even rarer to find one that won't try to extract every penny out of you.
It's nearly impossible to find one that genuinely wants to help you out knowing they won't get anything out of it. I found all of the things in HHS, and will be using them for all my plumbing needs.

Giovanni came out to look into an issue with low water temperature throughout the home. He checked a couple of things to rule out some common causes.
In the end, he determined that the hot water heater thermostat wasn't calibrated properly and just turned up the heat setting, problem solved at no cost! Very honest and he gave a thorough explanation of how the system works. Didn't try to sell us anything.

I had a whole house water filter and multiple water faucets installed. Giovanni came out and gave me a firm estimate which he totally honored even though it took him significantly longer than the estimated time.
In fact, he had to come out for a second visit because the main kitchen water faucet (owner supplied) had a faulty sensor. It took quite a bit of trouble shooting to figure out the exact problem.
Moen sent out a new faucet and Giovanni came back out to re-install the new faucet. He didn't even charge me any extra to come back out the second time to install the properly functioning faucet even though it was absolutely no fault of his that the first one I supplied didn't work! Within 45 minutes the leak I had was gone and he reset 2 toilets with new wax rings. He offered up an estimate (which was very fair) and he came in just at his estimated total.

Did a great job diagnosing and fixing up the shower leak in no time. Gio and Victoria at HHS Plumbing are absolutely the best! The master bathroom sink in our condo all of a sudden started filling up when we weren't using water and flooding our bathroom.
Gio was there the next morning to fix the drain and everything worked perfectly, until later that night when the sink started backing up again! Gio came right back out and resnaked the drain free of charge (turns out that the first drain cleaning cleared up enough space for build-up from upstairs fixtures to work its way down and re-block the plumbing). Responsive and great customer service! I will definitely be using HHS for anything plumbing related from now on.
I used HHS Plumbing services for the first time today. I was elated with the quality of his office staff and my new plumber.
He was clear and patient with answering all my questions. And i had a bunch of questions.
He was super knowledgeable, polite, clean, reasonably priced and explained things well. I used him for replacing a garbage disposal.
He was masterful at replacing it. I can't think of even one area for improvement.
I will absolutely call them the next time I need plumbing help. You know how we all feel lucky when we get a great service provider? Well, that is how I felt today.
This is our second experience with Giovanni and HHS Plumbing. He had taken care of some minor problems we had a couple of years back and I have referred him to neighbors because of his great service along with workmanship.
So this time we needed a waterless water heater flushed along with installation of a Calcium filter, as well as new fixtures for our kitchen. Giovanni was most helpful in recommending the best fixtures at a reasonable price, ordered same, and installed them all within a week.
The water heater was also serviced and in addition he reset a complex timer for water features in our backyard. The work was excellent, the recs and prices were similarly excellent, and tonight (one day later) he called back to see if all was well with the timers on the fountains.
Sorry folks, you don't get service like this anymore. So I will contribute to the 5* reviews above.

When he came over to snake a couple drains, I realized how much of an expert he was and I ended up having him install a new garbage disposal under the sink and replace the inner workings of our 3 toilets so they would run perfectly, and they have! All his work was great. Although I hope not to see him again soon, if I have another issue, he's definitely earned my business.
Within 30 days of moving into my new home, I have now used HHS to install a new toilet in my master bathroom as well as snaking two drains which were clogged by previous owners. The service was excellent and the new toilet was installed perfectly with an expert caulking job.
The drains were as good as new after a thorough service by HHS and the service comes with a warrantee; they will come back for free if the same drains clog up again within six months. Each area of work was spotless and clean after HHS left our home.
My first appointment was done via Amazon Home Services (for the toilet install) but since then I have been able to reach HHS via text message. They respond quickly and will provide an appointment slot as soon as possible.
This makes the interaction, scheduling, etc very convenient. Finally, Giovanni is very pleasant to work with and very clear in his explanations regarding any issues, repairs, etc.
He was also very patient with my toddlers who were curious about the work he was doing. I have used other plumbing services before and will now turn to HHS as my "go to" vendor for plumbing.
We got a leaking faucet this past weekend so we called several local plumbers for repair. All told us to wait another week or two weeks after the Thanksgiving! We called HHS and Giovanni showed up at 8am the NEXT DAY!!! He gave us all the options to fix it and suggested the best possible solution.
We bought the new faucet and Giovanni replaced it in less than half an hour the next day. He even gave us the discount as first time customer on top of his reasonable service charge! We'll certainly be using HHS Plumbing for all of our service in the future.

They are punctual, polite, and clean. How clean? Giovanni went to wash his hands and instead of touching my faucet, he noticed the paper towels I'd left by the sink for him.
He didn't grab the whole roll, which would have dirtied the entire roll. He carefully peeled off just the first towel, used that to pump the soap dispenser and turn on the faucet...so he basically touched nothing.
I him! Add in a perfectly executed plumbing job and this is a no brainer. We are repeat customers forever.

A wonderful resource for anybody in South Orange County for general plumbing needs! Giovanni came out to fix my leaking pedestal sink. I thought for sure we were going to have to replace it but it was only a few parts that needed to be replaced.
I had Giovanni look at some of shower fixtures and he made some recommendations to fix those in the future. Also, had him check my water pressure which a previous plumbing company wanted to charge me $750 for a brand new regulator.
