He came in and did a free inspection and we could not find the leak. We own a 9 unit building that we rent.
Before Esteban started charging me anything he told me to go into all the apartments check the bathrooms the showers and the sinks to see if that's where the leak was. Few days later, we knocked on the apartment doors and found the leak in one of the apartments.
The toilet was running continuously. Thank you, Esteban for outstanding service and just being a class act individual.

Rob C A few weeks ago Josue saved the day for our business! At the end of the work day on a Friday, our septic tank started leaking and spreading feces and liquid in the basement and our pump alarm went off. Josue was able to make it to our building that evening to assess the problem and worked to get us a vacuum truck to pump the tank that night.
This was on a busy weekend evening when most companies were booked or already closed. If he hadn't hustled to make things work for us, our basement would have flooded.
He stayed until the end of the night when the truck finished up, then once again hustled to get us two grinder pumps to replace the busted ones we had in our tank. He was able to reserve the pumps for us quickly enough that the warehouse would have them ready for pick up Monday morning.
He showed up early on Monday to replace the pumps and get the bathrooms up and running again - employees barely even noticed there was a problem because Josue worked to help us get what we needed quickly, and always with good attitude and friendly service. All through the process, he helped explain the problem and how we could best prevent it in the future.
The new pumps have been working great! Our technician was responsive, had good communication, and work was done with high quality. I requested a leak detection visit.
Jackie and Chris did a thorough inspection and Jackie determined the issue wasn't plumbing. He is very honest and hard working and Chris is learning good practices and is thorough too.
Jackie noticed some critical plumbing items that could cause problems in the near future and quoted them. I would recommend Jackie to anyone! I recently had the pleasure of employing Guillermo of A-1 Total Service Plumbing for sewage extraction and pump replacement, and I can't recommend him highly enough! Right off the bat, the operator was professional, and polite. I was quoted 60-90 mins ETA, but the technicians arrived within 20-30 minutes.
Was told that consultation was free, that in itself was pleasant. Our situation was a leaking pipe with an outside hose (don't ask me, I don't know the details), but there was a good amount of digging involved.
They accept cash, card, and check. Only thing is there is a 3.5% convenience fee if you do use card.
I definitely will be reaching out to A-1 again for future plumbing needs. Esteban and Lamberto from the City of La Habra branch showed up on time and were professional in helping me troubleshoot my gas leak.
They initially made several attempts to identify the leak via non-invasive measures, which I greatly appreciated. We needed a full repipe, and Esteban and Lamberto knocked it out for me in ONE DAY.
They also made the most precise openings in the wall to leave minimal damage. In addition, they used metal pipes throughout the project and closed up the exposed openings with temporary material until I could get someone in to fix the drywall.
Days later, my heating and air conditioning guy replaced my wall heater at my home and even complimented their precise work. He was very impressed! I am so thankful A-1 Total Service (Esteban and Lamberto) were available to help me quickly and execute well.

My father called A-1 to try them out and when they came out they did all the necessary first steps before digging into the ground and they figured out the problem quickly. They let us know every step of what they found and what they were doing so we were always in the know about things.
My father immediately asked if they do senior discount since it never hurt to ask and it turns out they do! It was still a lot but their quality of work was much better than the previous plumbers we had a long time ago. They began working on the problem that very next day and got done super fast but always kept us in the loop about things with what they were doing and made sure nothing was left miscommunicated.
It took them under a week to finish. I would recommend them if you're looking for a really good reliable plumber even though it's possible that they will arrive later than the time they say.

Found this place on a Google search and prayed the reviews were right, and they were! I had a horrible contractor that that basically didn't do my kitchen sink piping correctly which caused my garbage disposal to not work properly. It was an easy fix but was worried a plumber would lie and say it was a big job.

I understand not having "pin-point" leak detection but it was in a completely different spot!! Very unsatisfied and feel scammed out of the $470.

Every other plumber I called was going to take hours and hours to respond while the friendly rep on the phone at A-1 let me know Nathan would be here in 20-30 minutes. Nathan and Jacky got right to work getting my water shut off and fixing the problem.
They explained some options and helped guide me towards the best fix. I got a new customer discount, and felt good about the value of service, especially for dinner time on a Sunday night! I saved this number in my phone for any future plumbing problems or projects.

I called A-1 about a leaky shower. The tech came in (very nice and professional) and basically told me it was as easy as replacing a stem - he pushed to replace all 3 (hot, cold, and diverter) bc they're old...and they are.
He then left to go get the parts after I had agreed to the $500 estimate...after calling several supply stores he said we were in luck - I signed the estimate only for him to come back after an hour to say they were out of stock (after calling!?!) and that we needed to increase the job to approximately $1600. I sent him away.
Well...today, I put on my big-boy pants, watched a ton of YouTube, found the part myself (at the second supply store I went to), and fixed it within 30 minutes. All for $41.23 including tax.
I refuse to believe that the experts at A-1 couldn't find the part and tried to take total advantage of the situation. I'm sure they do good work BUT I wouldn't recommend them.

This is so rare these days, as I have continuously been running into bad service and high prices. A-1 Total Srv Plumbing cleared a sink drain for me, that had not been used in over two years.
Other plumbers attempted to, but failed and charged me anyway. I was initially doubtful and questioned whether John could really deliver on his promise, but I was wrong.
He not only cleared the drain, he ran multiple post testing, installed a replacement clean out plug and cleaned up the area, not leaving one dirt spot. They are good and I acknowledge their quality work 100% and recommend them to anyone and everyone!!! We had a problem with our tankless water heater and the hot water wasn't working well in both our showers.
Jose Reyes and Erik showed up and explained everything to us and gave us options on how we wanted to tackle the problem. They were able to get rid of the error code that was blinking on the water heater and they flushed and serviced the water heater.
I had no idea tankless water heaters needed maintenance servicing once a year. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and most importantly got the hot water working.
If another problem should arise I will be calling them again. I called them to replace the main shut off value in my house.
They responded that morning and quickly assessed the problem and gave me a estimate. The plumber Esteban was very professional and courteous.
They worked all day and repaired all my plumbing problems including replacing my water heater. They cleaned up everything perfect as if nothing had be touched.

We like to say thank you to Mario C, for meeting with us in person to discuss a problem that was unfortunately pushed on us from our HOA with an outside existing drain. We were seeking an inspection to be complected on our existing drain and provide a direction and options to stop water intrusion under our unit.
Mario was able to assist with an inspection and direct us on what we need to do to help stop the water intrusion, from the disconnected/abandon drain, by HOA. Mario was very detail, professional and courteous.
