Asked them to give me a quote on replacing my gas tank water heater with a gas tankless water heater. They told me they'd be by some time between 2pm - 5pm.
By 5:30pm no one had showed up and no one had reached out to me. I had wasted half my day waiting for them.
Then at 5:45pm after I had already left for a meeting, I get a call that someone is on their way. I rushed back home to finally meet the plumber, and he looked at my water heater for maybe 15 seconds tops.
I also asked for a quote to repipe my old house. He barely took a glance around the house, hardly asked any questions, and left.
The price he quoted for the water heater wasn't unreasonable, but after being so late and being so dismissive, didn't seem like the most trustworthy to deal with. Had some work done and got estimates for more work.
The original work they did failed after two days. Had questions about estimates.

I have a freestanding tub on my second floor that was leaking from underneath the tub, causing damage through the first floor. Richard responded to my inquiry in less than 24 hours, and was flexible about finding time to meet that worked with my schedule.
Richard is clean cut and very professional. He quickly accessed by issue, provided a quote within 5-10 minutes and walked me through each component in detail.
You know an expert within a few minutes of conversation, and you get this sense with Richard immediately. The initial quote was lower than I anticipated, but he told me he estimated on the high end, as he couldnt truly know until the tub was removed and there were steps he included that may not be required.

Terrible customer service. At the very, very least, I would expect some sort of reply to say, "Unfortunately, we won't have anyone available on those days or times this week.
Are you available for an estimate next week?" Something to that effect. I'm not unrealistic - I don't expect them to magically be available if they really are not able to work with my schedule.
But I do expect clear communication either way. This is how a seed is planted, one that ensures you'll lose business, especially if you make a habit of doing things like this.

We had a pipe in our bathroom crack that went directly to the sewer line AND the main line had a big ol hole in it as well. The first company that came out had quoted us something so outrageous that the words "financing options available" were included for ONLY the bathroom and sewer line outside of the house (not including the main line inside the house).
They hadn't even looked at the remainder of the house. Like, hello...
red flags!! And that company had 5 stars... We opted to get another quote and found ABC Plumbing on Yelp.
Darryl and Alex came out, took way more time to see what they could do to get the situation fixed and unfortunately, we did have to replace a few pipes and fixed some spot areas. Overall, it was about a two and half week process as we had plans to be out of town.
Alex spent a ton of time with us. Extremely down to earth.
And we were out of pocket less than half of what the other dudes wanted. Our house has been in working order for a week now and we are extremely grateful for ABC Plumbing and their crew.
Also, huge shout out to Desi Excavation who did an excellent job at digging under our house in record time (10 ft under the slab in 7 hrs and just 2 guys doing it). They also did an amazing job at redoing the concrete on the patio as well.

Jason came out (I'm told the owner of the company) on time. He did his thing and when he was done, I also asked for an estimate on replacing my tub.

My husband and I just purchased our home and after our initial experience we knew we would be reaching out to Abc plumbing for any plumbing needs now and again in the future as we continue to renovate our home! had them here to replace outside faucets, they sent a 16 year old kid that didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground, needless to say he destroyed several walls inside my home that was not necessary, and when we contacted the owner he told us he does not fix plaster walls and would recommend someone. well he did not pay for the damage which cost us over a thousand dollars more.

Our experience was very positive - We had an appointment set for between 11 and 2 PM, and Skyler called half an hour before arriving to let us know he was on his way. We had actually had another company out the week before, but they signaled that they'd need assistance from the city and additional visits to fix our problem.

I had used them a couple years ago to have a toilet replaced and they were quick, efficient, and friendly. Today they came out for a clogged sewage line and came two hours earlier than expected! Skyler and Hunter got right to it and within 30 minutes the issue was resolved.

When they showed up, they didn't know what problems I had and said they weren't told about it nor were they willing to fix it. Selling a rental and decided to change out the wall mount kitchen sink.
It didn't leak, but was old and ugly. Bought a brand new one and called ABC.
I thought this would be simple. It wasn't.
The plumber installed the new one and guess what? It was leaking. He took it off and the pipes were so old we opened up a can of worms.
1950's tile has to be displaced and freshly painting wall above the sink had to be torn into. Props and kudos to Steven and Scott who spent an entire day replacing pipe and only charging me 150.00 total.
Any other company would have been 600.00 plus!!! Have used them before and They are always reasonable and knowledgeable. We called on a Saturday morning ( 8:30 ish) to see about having our sewer line checked for leaks.
All we got was a voicemail with a name that was unidentifiable, and when we tried to leave a message, the voicemail box was full. Steven was our plumber and he was wonderful.
He found and repaired 5 pipes that had burst. The damage is immense but he climbed ladders and methodically found each burst pipe.
The wet Sheetrock and insulation was a huge mess but he kept working through each leak. He tried to get a restoration company to come help with the mess.

My hot water heater had a large leak in the middle of the night on a Friday night. I called ABC Plumbing first thing Saturday morning and was relieved that they were able to come out later that day.
Steven and Hunter did a great job! They quickly diagnosed my issue and realized that I would need a new water heater due to rusting within the old tank likely due to age (it was over 10 years old). They made recommendations on the cheapest and best hot water heater option for me (including information about warranties and different brands), and they had a new water heater installed later that day.

The communication between the office and the contractors actually doing the work is not clear. I had to call numerous times to see when someone was actually going to come do work, then again to finish the work, and again to fill the hole back in.
It took them 3+ weeks for them to complete a 3 day job just because no one was showing up to finish the job. Very frustrating and not happy with the finished work.
Snowmagedon 2021 was not kind to the pipes on our garage apartment. In anticipation of that I had prescheduled several days in advance for ABC Plumbing to come out the day that temps were forecast to be above freezing.
I tried calling earlier in the day to confirm but couldn't reach anyone. My appointment time came and went with no plumber.
Sure enough a pipe burst. I was finally able to get hold of someone at about 5PM and they explained that they had so many emergency calls that they were way behind.
Understandable, but I had scheduled my appointment. They called me back about 15 mins later and said they would definitely get someone out that night.
Within an hour Skyler and Clayton showed and fixed it up. Unfortunately too many breaks and they had to cap the line into the apartment so the main house would have water.

This is the second time that we've needed ABC Pumbing (Watauga). They made our lives better in less than an hour! We had a meter leak unfortunately on our side, not the city's.
Our home warranty company wouldn't fix it and the plumbing company that they sent out was not equipped to fix it. I called ABC Plumbing and they came out THE NEXT DAY.
Yes, I said THE NEXT DAY. Daryl and Clayton located the leak and fixed it immediately! They were so professional and obviously knew their craft.

The change out of the faucets was more involved that anticipated and required that he actually needed to cut the pipes a half foot below anticipated requiring a much larger cutout and more copper piping and fittings but he charged the same estimate and tightening the sink plumbing as s freebie..
My wonderful experience started with Amanda, who answered my questions diligently and got me on the schedule for a convenient time for me. Then Daryl and Clay performed the job perfectly.
They were so patient with the other contractors I had working in my kitchen. Daryl has been extremely communicative about returning to my house to complete other projects, and ABC Plumbing gained new customers from the great job these individuals did! Taylor and Kris were awesome.

Great service and will definitely use ABC again I called ABC at 5pm on a Friday afternoon for a plugged sewage line. The prospects of the weekend without any facilities was not pleasant particularly since I had called several other companies and all said not until Monday.
