Mr. Owen lives in our neighborhood and had done a few small plumbing jobs for us, when we needed a slightly bigger job done.

My husband called and made an appointment for Evan to come on Tuesday. Well, he didn't come, but we could see he wasn't home, so we assumed he had a big job that took longer than expected.

We made another appointment for Thursday, same thing happened. We rescheduled for Friday, and when he didn't show again we didn't call and reschedule.

Maybe he thinks that because we are neighbors, we're a sure thing and he should put other jobs first, or because we are older that we have nothing better to do than to wait for him to show up, but neither is true. He is out using his leaf-blower right now, so clearly not on another job.

There was no reason for him to blow us off. My basement was flooded with at least 12 inches of water because my sump pump had failed.

My neighbor called her plumber and he was there within an hour. That was Even Owen of Owen Plumbing.

He installed a new pump with an alarm so you know if the pump goes bad as well as hooked up a second pump for back up. He was extremely pleasant to work with and very professional.

THIS WAS A BIG DIRTY JOB that took more than one day. But, he always wore a smile.

It was not a cheap fix but I am not sure it would have been otherwise with anyone else. He gave me confidence that it would be alright.

He was very capable. Back in June 2018 my water heater broke and water leaked into my living room in the middle of the night.

Totally un professional! This guy is the GREATEST!! Prompt, super polite, and most importantly gets the job done every time, even if it seems impossible. He is the designated plumber for my landlord, but I will continue to use his services even after I move out.

Reused the old wood stand that was falling apart. It required tunneling under the home, putting in all new pipes, and packing everything tightly back in.

He did to extension for the water pipe for a new sink and for a washer. The old suite does not have these.

He saved my life during this difficult time. He was very responsive when I asked questions on what was needed to be done.

He helped me get through all the inspections from the city. He asked his employees to show up right away and got anything that I asked for done quickly like installing the new sink and toilet, fixing the damage on the drainage, and fixing the toilet leaking.

I can't thank Miguel enough for all the emergency help he did at my suite. Miguel's team did a great job at my suite.

They even fixed things for me on the weekend as it is really hard in general to ask companies to work on the weekend. Dealing with city of Austin in construction is hard from getting the building permit to passing all the inspections.
