He immediately answered my phone call, listened to my clogged kitchen sink dilemma, and scheduled the earliest appointment he had available. He then suggested that I try some myself to unclog my sink.
The directions he gave me worked! He asked me to let him know if it worked or not so he could keep our appointment. I am truly grateful for his help, attention, and integrity.
I will not hesitate to call this company again for any future needs, and no doubt recommend them! I chose this company when we had a leaky toilet after reaching out to several. Some never got back to me, others quoted outrageous prices (some triple what Somers quoted) and essentially all of them had poor communication skills.
Right off the bat, I liked Dave's website and appreciated the bio he shared here on Yelp. I submitted a contact request through the website, and he responded same day with a quote (which was right around the market standard), and his communications were very kind and professional, utilizing full sentences, punctuation and proper grammar.
It may seem like a low bar but the other companies replied with no greeting, very short and blunt incomplete sentences, and no punctuation as if they were texting a buddy to say they're on their way to meet them. I appreciate the professionalism which Somers displayed.
We made an appointment a few days out which was his soonest opening. Dave sent a text when he was on his way and arrived when expected.
The issue ended up being two faulty parts instead of one so the price did double, but we could see the problem and I know he was not making it up. He did a good job and the toilet has been leak-free since (it's been a few months).
He was done in under 40 minutes which felt really fast and we were a little worried about it being a rush job, especially for the cost being paid to cover labor, but I suppose as long as there are no issues it's ok. The only complaint would be that there were some black streaks in the caulking so that could have been tidier, and he intentionally left a gap in the caulking at the back so that if it leaked again (this toilet had this issue two time prior) we would see it before it caused the second part to fail again.
That is perfectly fine, but he didn't tell us so we thought he missed it in error and almost caulked it ourselves, but thought to ask him first, and when we did he explained that it was intentional. Perhaps making a point of telling us about it before he left would have helpful.
That is just my constructive criticism. All in all, I would (and have several time already) recommend Somers and we will be using them for all of our future plumbing needs.

Dave is a truly knowledgeable plumber coming from over 16 years working for someone else, Dave now turned his experience over to becoming an ROC Licensed Plumber and business owner recently He was quick to respond back to questions and rough pricing through Yelp, his communication skills through text/Yelp & phone are fantastic. I always knew where I stood with Dave.
I set Dave up with 5 different faucet replacements which included new drain/plugs and a challenging hands free kitchen faucet. Dave came through perfect on everything.
If I didn't have the right part, he had the parts on hand or knew where to get them. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
I am already figuring out his next project. Leaks, water softeners, RO, faucets, drains, toilets.
Dave does them all. We needed a drain snaked and bath fixtures, which we purchased, replaced.
My husband obtained several estimates, but all the big "commercial" company's numbers were outrageous, and lead times several days to weeks out. After seeing the online reviews for Somers Plumbers, we decided to give them a chance.
We were NOT disappointed. He scheduled with Dave who arrived on time, with advanced notice, within a couple days.
He quickly took care of the drain, but discovered the materials we purchased weren't compatible with our current setup. He explained what we needed and walked my husband through his questions as he reordered the materials.

He answered the phone - on a Sunday - and came out to diagnose the problem on a hot Sunday afternoon. Because the supply trade houses were closed on Sunday, and because Dave already had a client job booked for Monday, we had to wait until Tuesday for the parts and repair.

I have spent the last five years in Phoenix as a homeowner of my first home, which kindly put, needed some updating. I messaged Somers Plumbers for a quote to install a complete kitchen drain line, new faucet and to replace a leaky hose bib when I was starting on my kitchen cabinets and countertops.
They responded the same day with more questions and an eventual (within 24 hrs) bid. The quote was a ballpark figure and very reasonable compared to the other bids I got.
As soon as I was given a date to install the countertops (only 2 days out) I reached out again and to my surprise they remembered me! Not only that, but they were able to fit me in on their schedule on the morning after my countertops were installed. I called on a Tuesday and I had a fully functional kitchen on Friday morning.
The installation went smoothly to say the least. I could not be happier with the service provided by Dave.
The care and attention is unparalleled (and with a 1970's home I have had the need for a plumber a few times). So not only does everything work the way it should and with no leaks but he even took a look at the dishwasher lines and instead of just installing them and calling it a day he told me that the supply line needed to be replaced and capped the line on the angle stop so that I could use my faucet while I addressed the dishwasher line.
I think it goes without saying that not only am I going to be calling Somers for all of my future plumbing needs (I still have a bathroom that needs attention) but I will be telling everyone I know to call for theirs as well. I only wish I had found them sooner! Let me preface this review by stating I am not a plumber, but am probably in the 99th percentile of homeowner's who will tackle projects themselves.
I have plumbed a bathroom, replaced every faucet/sink in my house, added a garage sink, repaired my roof, installed new floors, landscaped the yard, installed an irrigation system, etc. etc.
We had a clog in our main drain I discovered around midnight last night. I tried to snake it myself for about an hour, but with nothing to show for it with my 15 ft snake.
Removed both toilets and tried from our washout, but couldn't get it. Enough about me.
Dave came out in less than an hour from when I first contacted him, charged an incredible price, and fixed the issue in about 45 mins. I won't mention what he was able to pull out of the drain line, but his customer service is excellent and quality of his work was outstanding.
I have some scar tissue from getting gouged by plumbers in the past, and feel confident going to Dave for any and all future plumbing needs! He is a one man show, so you don't have to deal with a scheduler or multiple field folks. Save his contact info.
10/10 recommend Dave! Dave came out to the house within 10-15 minutes after I called him on Saturday after seeing water in my garage. He quickly figured out it was a drain pipe in my upstairs bathroom.
He had to come back another day for fix it after flood company dried everything and removed vanity. Everything was fixed and his prices were more than reasonable.
Also, great communication We needed a new faucet and under-mount sink installed. Somers Plumbers was the only reply that would at least look at installing an under-mount sink and after inspection gave us a very competitive quote.

Dave came in and fixed the broken valves for our washing machine and on top of that fixed our leaky shower. Dave went above and beyond as he was only going to change the trim kit for the shower but he ended replacing the shower valve due to a leak.
