Everything else will eventually clog up the drain. No one has ever told us this before, only to be careful with certain things, and never big amounts.

We followed those rules. But they don't make disposals to handle much of anything at all (like everything nowadays) so it ends up accumulating somewhere down the pipe.

I shopped around and found several reputable companies on Yelp willing to do the same job for $700. For an estimate to be that far off is pretty insulting when it's a straightforward job.

I called Zest midmorning and they were able to offer me service the same day between 1 and 4 PM. Mike S arrived at 1:30(love when people arrive early in the time range).

We just had our second opportunity to use Zest Plumbing & Drain and I can't praise them enough!!! Our neighbor recommended them several months back when we were in need of a new water heater. At that time they came out and installed a new unit and the technician was very professional and friendly.

We started having an issue with the unit not heating fully so I had them come back to look at it. I was put on the calendar for the very next morning! When the technician arrived he was very pleasant and on time.

After about 15 minutes he knocked on the door and told me that all that was needed was to flip the circuit breaker!! Apparently someone (and I can't figure out who that could be) turned it off!! He turned it on, heard the unit gear up and showed me where to find it for next time. The best part is NO CHARGE!!! Last year they came out to do our water heater. We asked the guy to look at our toilet.

He "fixed" it. We thought all was fine and gave a good review.

Except now the toilet's leaking sewage into our bathroom and walls. So, apparently not fixed.

They came back out and denied responsibility saying they didn't fix the part that's leaking. Well, no.

If you had, it wouldn't be leaking. The guy who just came out when we called talked us OUT of replacing the toilet saying there could be mold under there.

We had many mold people come out and they said that's not true and even if it was, it would be wet so it wouldn't spread. He also told us we shouldn't flush the toilet as that would make the leak worse.

THEN he flushed the toilet over and over, making the leak much worse and left us with that. Again, this is sewage in our walls, tiles, etc.

plus now there is mold in the walls as he worsened the leak. When we called, our calls were not returned for days.

It went from being a tiny leak to being a huge mess after this moron kept flushing our toilet (we hadn't used the toilet, so the small leak prior to him had dried), plus he didn't fix it giving a false reason. STAY FAR AWAY is my advice.

Edit: management contacted us saying we should call them. They didn't give us a direct number, just the regular number and again- we couldn't talk to anyone so they're obviously not interested.

I was going to post a 5* review for Affordable Plumbing and the plumber, Ben, just for coming by and giving me an estimate before we even had them do any work for us. The reason for this is I contacted Affordable Plumbing on Monday asking for an estimate of replacing our water main gate valve with a ball valve.

I said I could send them pictures and maybe they could give me an estimate from those. Diana, I believe was her name, said no, they want the plumber to come by and look at the job.

My first thought was that meant an automatic $49-99 service call, whether any work was done or not. I was pleasantly surprised to hear there was not a service call fee.

Ben showed up on time, after receiving a text saying he was on his way. He gave me an estimate.

I then asked if he would also look at the leaking water bib in our garage. He politely did and said he could fix that easily with a tightening of a bolt, which he did.

He said think about the estimate and then left. (it was a complicated job as the house stucco had incorrectly been built around the water main plumbing.

It was not a simple job to fix. Ben clearly explained everything that would need to be done.) After Ben left, I had my wife look at the plumbing.

I went up and touched the water main valve which immediately came off shooting a powerful water stream. I quickly called Affordable Plumbing and asked for Ben to come back as we had a big problem.

Ben showed up quickly and did a temporary fix on the water main valve. He said he could come back Thursday and fix it, but it would involve having to break into the stucco.

We said "yes"! Thursday, Ben did a great job in replacing the needed pipes and valves while moving the pipes out of the stucco. He did it quickly at what we felt was a reasonable cost.

He answered every question we had. The day before, he had explained why we needed to get the job done but was not pushy whatsoever.

Ben also helped show us how to properly use our swimming pool's autofill, at no charge. It is a rare time that we have had a professional act like he truly cared about our well-being.

And I guarantee you, Ben was not acting. He truly had concerns that the job was done properly and well.

I was out of town when I was notified that my outside pipes were leaking water. I called Zest Plumbing and had Tyler, a plumbing tech, at my home within an hour.

He kept in contact with me by phone. Tyler finished the job within a couple of hours.

So they were basically out bid. I do most of my own work and like to think that I know what I'm doing.

I also know my limits. My new construction home uses PEX piping, which isn't something a homeowner really shouldn't be messing with.

I needed a 1/2" FPT fitting sweated on to a 1/2" toilet supply line. The problem is that the 4" copper stub was connected to PEX.

I didn't want to sweat near my PEX, and didn't have the expansion tool or expertise to remove and reconnect the copper. I called Zest late yesterday afternoon.

They scheduled an estimate and explained that, if I agree with the estimate, the work could be done then. This was in contrast to the other three plumbers I had called, none of whom have gotten back to me yet.

Zest was to be out between 8-12. Randolph was here at 8:00 AM.

Their estimate was 50% of the minimum quoted to one of the other "top 10" plumbers here on Yelp. I agreed and the job was complete 10 minutes later.

Randolph was extraordinarily friendly, and even let me watch him sweat the fitting, and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He was just a fantastic guy.

I received an invoice in my email with pictures and a detailed explanation of what was done. Their use of tech from appointment setup to Randall's arrival was leading edge, and very convenient.

Not only was my job done quickly, and at a really fair price, but I've now got a plumber that I can call and depend on when I need one. That's worth a lot.

We will definitely be calling them again with any other issues that arise in the future! Hired them to fix a septic smell in our house. Their employee did a partial smoke test of one vent and found a problem with the toilet.

He said that should fix it, but if not, he'd come back free of charge and do a smoke test in the other vents. It did not fic the problem.

The company manager told me that he's not responsible for this employee because he was fired. I pointed out that I relied on the employee and that the company took my $$.

The manager insisted they had no responsibility for anyone they fired. BEWARE -- they do not honor their commitments.

Dalton went to house, spent 3 hours identifying the 6 items noted (which were provided before his trip) only to say that he was not senior enough to provide a bid. To be clear, the bid consisted of replacing a water tank, 2 clogged pipes, 2 leaking faucets and one shower caulking/seal.

Isn't this the only thing plumbers work with??! After not getting a bid, I called the office and spoke with Diana who assured me this is not the process...only to not get this resolved before end of day. Hire these guys if you're interested in wasting your time and being jerked around!! Had a leak under our kitchen sink on a weekend.

Called Affordable Plumbing and the dispatcher was kind and helpful and scheduled us for service the following day. Len came out on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Caesar came out from Zest and was here two hours and quite meticulous to ensure even at the city inlet meter there was a slow leak. Our leak wasn't consistent and he took the time to reproduce and be 100% sure where it came from.

He showed up on time, was knowledgeable, courteous and respectful and took the time to explain everything and show me what he was talking about in a way that I could understand but didn't feel like I was being talked down to.

There were a few items Paris recommended and some we spoke about that he said I could wait to do until down the line. I felt like he spent a good deal of time repairing my items and did not rush in order to get to the next job like some other plumbers I have used on the past.

He didn't just make a repair, he got to the root of what was causing my issues so I wouldn't keep having problems. My first experience was wonderful and it certainly won't be my last! I recommend Zest! All the way!! Great job!!! They arrived on time.

This time we had noticed a decrease in our hot water output. We had them come out to take a look.

I told Paul the first plumber technician that I had also noted a warm spot in our hallway. He discovered that there was a few leaks in the slab and plumbing in our guest bathroom.

He recommended a leak detection company that was able to determine the leak location and recommend a fix and Affordable was able not only able to fix the next day (Thank you Richard) but changed out the old copper piping to newer PEX to avoid a repeat issue. This was especially important as it was going to be the first day of the school year for our daughter.

In the end we also needed a new hot water heater but if they did not find that leak that day we could have had much worse damage than we did. I should add that when we found a hot water heater that had more of the options we wanted they were honest and told us it was even better than the ones they stocked and gave us a fair price for installation.

Richard was professional, timely, did what he said he was going to do, and did not push extra services. Even when there was an issue by breaking into our stucco to try to get to some lines that did not need to happen, Affordable Plumbing made it right.

The work was not cheap but the cost seemed fair for the work that was done overall. I will continue to utilize them.

I found my self in need of the installation of 2 faucets and a water filter. I got the referral from a contractor friend to Kendall Plumbing.

I've some really bad experiences with plumbers in the past so a referral from someone I trust was great. Categorically, they filled my best expectations.

My call for service was returned and an appointment was made within a reasonable length of time. My technician Chris was prompt, clean, professional as well as quite personable.

His work was great on everything. I had a particularly stubborn faucet in the bathroom and had to return the next day with an actual saw to remove it.

In closing, the popular conception is that plumbers strip your wallet, and I would definitely agree. I was pleasantly surprised to find Kendall's has a reasonable hourly rate without 'padding' the time to make extra.

I would use Kendall again (especially if Chris was the tech) and recommend in the future. Poor service, excessively rude people and outrageous pricing.

Don't call them, plenty of better plumbers. We have used Kendall Plumbing for both small and large jobs for years.

They have come out and saved us when our system needed snaked, which wasn't easy because we didn't have a clean out for a long time. And more importantly, completely rebuilt our piping between our two bathrooms when the old cast iron pipes completely gave out.

Not only did it rust out, we found out that one of the 4" pipes was down to 1" because of hair, grease, oil, yuck... Always on time, always courteous.

Never a concern with the cost of their service, especially given the quality of their work. I cannot recommend them high enough.

Bill I had a main line leak in my front yard. Was not sure who to call but saw great reviews for Kendall Plumbing so I gave them a shot.

Chris came over and was methodical in his work. Placed a probe in the ground to get close to the leak.

Raked the rocks back and put a tarp down to place the dirt on when digging. Found and repaired the leak, filled to hole and put the rocks back making it look like he wasn't even here.

Very impressed. And the price was very reasonable.

The answering service asked if it was an emergency and I said no. Monday morning the owner, Kendall, called me to hear the details, then a little later another person (Debbie, I think) called to let me know someone was on the way.

Kerry arrived at 9:50 am and cleared the drain between two back-to-back lavatory sinks by 10:20. Other plumbers had told me that to get the snake into the pipe shared by the back-to-back sinks, they would likely have to cut into the wall, cut the drain pipe, and install a clean-out.

Kerry carefully nudged the snake into the shared drain pipe with no issues and pulled out the clog. In the end Kendall charged $160 out the door and Kerry carefully cleaned and double-checked everything.

I recommend Kendall to anyone who needs a plumber. We have been using Kendall for many repairs as we recently purchased a new home that needed a bit of love.

They were referred to us by our realtor. Our first interactions with them were wonderful but after how we were recently treated we have decided that we will no longer be using Kendall Plumber again in the future.

We discovered a waterbreak in the main line that connects from the street to our home. A gentleman came out on an emergency call to see if he could help stop the leak.

He came out on a Saturday and was super kind, explained to us the severity of the leak and that unfortunately he did not have time to work on it that day as it would take a great amount of time. We understood.

He also recommended replacing the whole line as the line was polybuteline piping that was recalled years ago. We agreed this would be the best option.

He advised that they were likely a couple of weeks out on the schedule but would be something they could fix. In the meantime, my husband and I shut off the water to our house and decided to go stay with family until we could get this fixed.

We were losing about a gallon a minute. Later that day i called the office and left a message with the office asking for a request to be put on the schedule for the next availability.

The emergency plumber called back annoyed as somehow our request got put in as an emergency. I let him know that i was only calling and left a message so that we could get put on the regular schedule at the next availability.

He seemed annoyed which i could understand as he was on-call emergency. Not sure where the confusion came from Monday rolled around and i called the office again to see when we could get on the schedule to run the new lines.

The on call gentleman answered again and asked me if we were going to dig up the old line. I told him that I was not sure how it normally works, if they can do it (which wed be happy to pay extra for) or if they work with someone who normally does.

He responded aggressively and said, look im sorry we cant help you while laughing. I asked him if he had any recommendations of anyone who could help.

He said no i dont and hung up the phone. I can understand if they didnt want to take on a decent sized job but thats all he had to say.

He didnt need to be agressive or rude by laughing at me, he didn't need to hang up on us. He had told us when he was at our house that they could fix it but it would be a couple of weeks out.

We were not in a rush by any means as we had shut off our water. I get it, maybe something changed with their schedule or maybe they were not comfortable with a decent sized job.

Because of this and how we were treated, we will be taking our business elsewhere. We ended up finding a plumber to help us replace the piping and they were out to our house within a day and completed the job in a day and a half.

Excellent service! Called them in the morning and they got back to me in one hour. The plumber showed up before lunch time and repaired the water heater in two hours after some troubleshooting.

Very reasonable rate! Thank you for the help! Now hot water is available! Our water main had an aggressive leak. Most plumbers quoted me a price to replace all pipe charging a fee of thousands! Francisco came over immediately, explained the problem and replaced only the pipe that was cracked...

No service was given because I couldn't even get past my original telephone inquiry that was answered by a young woman "scheduler" who answers their phones.) I was referred to Kendall Plumbing by a reputable firm with regard to a serious plumbing issue that I'm trying to correct.

The scheduler originally answered the phone, and the call turned completely into a communication nightmare when Katy took it upon herself to communicate what she thought I needed to the plumbers. The scheduler didn't "get it" when I tried to explain that I needed to talk to an actual plumber and not to someone who answers the phones and sets appointments.

The office manager finally got on the line and, instead of assisting me and answering a question that I tried repeatedly to pose, the manager kept saying my name over and over and over as she defended this person. I vehemently expressed the manager's need to "reign-in" this kind of response to my call for a plumber.

So, an otherwise profitable experience for both the plumber and for my family as homeowners, is lost -- all because the person who answered the phone could not listen and relay a message. My hope surrounded the installation of various kinds of plumbing in our garage, the possible installation of a new water softener, considerable work including the toilet and shower in our guest bath, and maintenance in other parts of the house.

Someone else will get my business now. Further, as a consumer advocate and writer, I will never again relay any information whatsoever to any person other than the professional(s) who I'm trying to reach, and I'll encourage other consumers to reject this kind of interaction with customers.

I'll recommend you to anyone. We had a main line leak between the meter and the house - noticed water in the front yard which was unfortunately NOT the HOA's sprinkler system.

Chris came out and dug until he found the leak and repaired it. He was pretty smart in taking off the sod layer first, so yard grass looked pretty good afterwards.

Also, he used a rod as a probe and sank it into the ground in several spots and the water bubbled up thru the holes when turned on. We knew the approximate area, but he was able to narrow it down to a few feet.

He found our water line crushed between two tree roots which he cut out along with several others that might give us future problems. Glad he stuck with it and was friendly the entire time! Reasonable bill.

Sewer issue at 8PM at night and they were so responsive and came out immediately. Rooted it out and took care of our problem so quickly, and professionally.

The first place didn't bother calling back, the second didn't have availability 'til Tuesday and the third showed up Monday morning and quoted us $750 after WE had already done all the digging. Our neighbor saw us out "digging a hole in the yard" and came over to chat.

He recommended Kendall and I'm SO glad he did. They had someone out within a couple of hours and we were out the door for under $160.

I did have to call in the morning to remind them, I got worried they were not going to show up, he told me the mentioned time. He quickly, assessed the work that needed to be done, from what I understand, an easy diagnosis, which was a wax ring replacement (wax seal) on toilet.

Total billed: $341.00. Work was completed professionally and area cleaned.

I just had my first experience with Kendall Plumbing. They did a fantastic job! I live in a rental and they are the preferred plumber for my 4plex.

I work night shifts so I often have difficulty scheduling day time appointments but they worked around my schedule with no issues. My kitchen sink was completely plugged and smelled disgusting.

I was called and updated more than once about the time I could expect the plumber and when he arrived, he got right to work. He was done much sooner than I expected and even cleaned up after himself so my kitchen was presentable.

My experience with Kendall Plumbing was far from excellent. I called and made an appointment to have a water heater flushed.

A couple of days later I realized that I had another plumbing problem, so I called back. They made an appointment for me.

Unfortunately, they failed to record flushing the hot water heater. I called again and scheduled another appointment.

I was given another appointment. I was not given an explanation that the appointment time was anytime within an hour.

Given that Kendall Plumbing is located less than a mile for me, I have to think that it shouldn't take an hour to get here. The reality is that it took an hour and 7 minutes to get here.

I will not be recommending them to anyone. They were in my home for less than minutes and charged me The only reason they are getting two stars is that they did the work and did it correctly.

This is a follow up of a recommendation posted yesterday. It is always an experience when you do business with someone new.

Especially when it comes to your home. Over the years, we have experienced some very expensive lesson with companies, who we thought were reputable.

After a solid recommendation from a trusted fiends with service provider, Schiller Heating and Cooling, we called Kendall Plumbing and Rooter. Our water heater had failed and we were desperate..

Kendall came out within a couple of hours. Rather than taking advantage.

Of a couple of old folks, he determined that we did not need a new water heater. He replaced some parts, flush the unit and saved us several hundred dollars.

Honesty and quality of work are important. But, he was also very courteous and friendly.

It turned out my garbage disposal needed to be replaced. The service man had it replaced within 15 minutes.

Then he kindly pulled out my refrigerator to check if I could have an ice maker installed. I mentioned I had a water softener system and was not sure how to maintain it, as I'm renting this property.

We were diagnosed as having roots in our main line by another company - a pretty devastating find only made worse by an initial assessment of $10,000! Kendall came in as a second opinion and opted to hydro jet our line saving us literally thousands of dollars for the same effect. I called Kendall because I thought I had some kind of water line leak in my kitchen. He pulled out the fridge, took the small panel at the bottom off and let us know that it was the fridge that was leaking and not a plumbing issue at all (good news)! That took about 5 to 10 minutes.

I then asked him if he could see why one of the toilets was periodically running water. He said I needed a new flapper in the tank and replaced it (another 10 min job).

Nice enough guy, but he charged $100 just to replace a flapper inside the tank of my toilet, pull out the fridge, take the little back panel off and tell us the fridge was leaking. Again, he was very nice and I wish I could say I will call him again but not at those rates.

Kendall Plumbing SAVED US! After having 4 other plumbers come out to our small business, Kendall Plumbing and Rooter were the only ones who actually did something (not kidding)! Kendall was professional, on time and diligent to find the problem (that the other plumbers didn't take the time/effort to find). We are a small business and have two toilets on the premise and BOTH were clogging (sporadically) and eventually overflowing, leaving an office with 20 employees without the use of the facilities.

Other plumbing companies attempted, but in the end they left without doing anything to help (some told us "there was nothing wrong", others said they didn't have the necessary equipment, one said that they had been sued and could no longer snake from the toilets (what?!!), yet another just seemed to want to get home for dinner. Kendall came in with a heavy duty snake and then took a camera to our system to try and see what else could be causing the issue(s).

My Friday morning started off a little earlier that I would have liked; I was woken up by my water sensor alarm at the bottom of my hot water heater overflow pan located in my garage at 5am - as it was leaking. The hot water heater was just 16 months old so I was sure it was under warranty.

I called the emergency after-hours number of the "other" other company that initially installed the hot water heater at 5:15am and asked them to have a tech call me back ASAP. By 6:30am - still no call back, so I called again.

The plumber came out and repaired the problem but left our water shut off at the house valve, no big deal really, but when we called in to see why we had no water and the repair was completed (even though the plumber never notified us he was here), and wanted to see if the plumber was on his way back and the receptionist was extremely rude.

ProSkill was great arranged a same day and texted once the technician was on his way. Cody was great at diagnosing and fixing our problem They came out to change filters and service.

My system was working worse than it was before, after they were finished. I called and they sent a technician to check.

He wanted to charge me a service charge to check things out. I said that was ridiculous because my system worked fine before they came to service.

He said he would check the system. He said that I had a problem that he just happened to have a part for after telling me that my system was 25 years old.

Then charged me $340 to change this part. I don't feel these people can be trusted.

We paid $2900 for replacement of a 50 gas water heater. I feel that is WAY too expensive.

Of course you don't get hot water until its fixed. They came fast, and did a good job, but I think that cost is too much.

They were very careful to clean up well and even painted the attic access panel when they were done. The technicians made sure the thermostat was added to our phone so any changes to temperature could even be made remotely.

Highly satisfied with this company, the products they sell and the service they provide. The installation was perfect and the Technician/Cody had all the answers! I wondered why I should pay more $$ for a softener and he explained how the resin for the hard Arizona well water is a huge factor.

The cost of installation was more than my water softener so that is another thing to consider. I wish I could have gotten more information from the person answering the phone initially.

He went right to work (booties and mask on for the in-house part), starting with checking the AC filter, the vent temps, and then climbing up into the attic to test the air handler, drainage, etc., documenting everything with pics.

He even took the time to cut in a special pipe to pour in the drainage pan test water, (which told me that the last company here never even tested the drainage, though they said they did). Then it was on to inspecting, testing and cleaning the capacitor (outside unit).

Karl is very systematic and logical about the protocols followed for doing the job right. You know everything is actually being checked.

There is nothing sloppy or haphazard about his methods. The guy definitely knows his stuff and takes pride in his profession, including kindly educating customers (I tend to ask a lot of questions, which he patiently answered).

Everything was done in a little under 2 hours, and the system passed with flying colors. No one in AZ can afford to have their AC die, so it's important to have that peace of mind that it will be there for you.

it took him maybe 30 mins unless you are charging me for his time to go to Home Depot to get the part??? DO NOT use this Company! It was time for me to find an air conditioning company that was local, responsive and available. Proskill met all of my needs.

I had a wiring issue when installing a Google Nest thermostat. Proskill quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem in the attic.

Proskill has good communication and appointment reminders. They aren't cheap, so educate yourself about their fee schedule , but I don't think they are overpriced.

Will use again. We decided to go with ProSkill for our AC replacement after receiving bids from several different local companies.

If you go to their website, schedule an appointment based on the date and time provided evidently that is only a "request ". At least that is what I was told by dispatch.

I had a scheduled appointment for Wednesday between noon and 4pm, again this is based on what their website provided. Dispatch calls me and informed me the earliest is April 8th.

Absolutely a bait and switch. Thrilled with the quick service and knowledge of the two plumbers this company provided me to solve a tricky issue of a bathtub clog on an older property.

The first plumber came out and called another plumber at the company to get his take on the situation and next day the 2nd plumber came out and solved the issue. Very happy customer here! Thank you ProSkill! I scheduled ProSkill to come out and repair a crack in our pipe.

I explained to the scheduler that it was a pvc pipe, 1-1/4", that connected to the copper pipe and that it was the main line going into the house from the well. I had already requested that a hose bib be installed on a stub out that was installed when we built the house but the hose bib was never completed.

The technician arrived and he did not have any of the information I gave to the scheduler. Therefore, he did not have any of the materials needed to make these repairs nor was he willing to get them and come back and fix the pipe.

He was rude and unknowledgeable. Would never call on them again.

After no call/no shows from both Howard Air and Parker & Sons we turned to Yelp for guidance. ProSkill was highly rated, and were able to schedule an appointment within the week.

Cody and Robert showed up within five minutes of the scheduled time, finished quickly, had some credible maintenance suggestions. They also put on booties without being asked.

All and all, a very positive experience. Update 02/08/2021: Greg and the GM reached out over the weekend and had Greg come out in the morning today to take a courtesy look at my work (I installed a sink over the weekend myself).

They helped fix a tiny barely dripping nuisance cold valve supply line and ensured everything was done properly as spoiler alert: I am not a plumber. They also made things right with the sink.

I will chalk this up to a very green technician needing some coaching rather than an overall bad business. Still taking a star off for the initial encounter but the response warrants a 4 star rating.

We could potentially do business in the future as long as experienced, seasoned techs come and do work here based on the service after the first experience. I had a terrible experience.

My A/C was broken. They came the same day and saw the issue right away.

There was a wire that the connector had fallen off and become unplugged from the capacitor. There was a fixed fee for the visit which would be applied toward the cost of repairs.

I asked the technician to plug it back in and I'm sure the cost would be less than the $79 fee. He said electrical wire repairs were $189!! I said all you have to do it plug it back in.

He said he would speak with his boss. Then told me it would cost $389 because I should replace the capacitor.

I said I had just replaced it 2 months prior. But he insisted.

I told him no. Paid the $79.

He left and I plugged it back in and it has been fine. This is what all of us fear.

A company preying upon seniors that have no option and need the air conditioning. They should be ashamed..

Called at 7:15, needing to replace my leaking water heater. Sam came by as scheduled at 10am that morning.

Within 3 hours, Sam had removed my old water heater, and installed the need one. Very patient and helpful, ensuring I was familiar with what to expect, and how the water heater operated.

That evening, my wife expressed surprise at how quickly we get hot water at the kitchen sink. Great experience, start to finish.

Sam was sure I was aware of all the options, and there was no pressure to buy more than was necessary. I would highly recommend ProSkills, and Sam for your plumbing needs.

I have used Pro Skill for years for my heating and air. They are great, Never had a problem, so I though I'd give them a try in the area of plumbing.

I am a senior citizen, retired and have little knowledge re plumbing. He was so kind and informative.

I always ask questions. He showed me where my main shut off was, where the shut off is to the water heater, discussed instant hot water and how it works, Most of all he discovered that my soft water tank was shut off.

A different plumbing company was at my house a couple of months ago, servicing the soft water and osmosis. Apparently he shut off the softener and never turned it on.

I contacted ProSkill Services regarding water leaking in the utility room from behind the wall. I met with Daniel McAninch and discussed the issue at hand with options available for me.

Daniel was able to diagnose the problem quickly (I needed a cracked laundry box replaced - Project #112769392) and set the expectations, time frame and provided a competitive bid to order parts. Dispatch kept me informed as to his arrival both times which was helpful.

With the project completed Daniel walked me through the process again. He made each of his cuts into the drywall as minimally invasive using straight lines so as to present as little work as possible for the contractor to patch the wall.

I was impressed with his professionalism, his ability to solve the problem within a short period of time, his craftsmanship and his communication skills. Because of his listening skills he remembered an ongoing problem with a water softener drainpipe that I had expressed initially and without being asked took the time to extend the copper pipe an additional inch or so thereby eliminating any future concerns on my part.

Thank you ProSkill! We've been dedicated customers of EZ-Flow for years. Because they're based on Mesa, sometimes it's a few days before they can get out to my area (far north Phoenix) and that's fair.

As ProSkill is Anthem-based and my neighbors on Next Door seem to love them, we decided to give them a shot. Our RO unit was broken and we had two leaks in two different bathrooms.

Our appointment was easy to schedule and our technician was very polite and courteous. He replaced the RO unit and it's functioning wonderfully now.

He replaced the innards of two separate toilets (ostensibly to fix the leaks?). The next day, I noticed water all over the water closet again (which is why what prompted us to call them in the first place).

Upon closer examination, there was a rusted bolt at the bottom of the toilet that was the clear reason for the clear. We called and the technician came out the same day.

Where things went wrong is when he tried to charge us $60 to fix the issue he was supposed to have the day prior. If he didn't fix the issue the day prior, that tells me the toilet innards were fine and probably didn't need replacing so we paid for something that didn't need doing.

And to try to charge us again for failing to do what should have been done the first time? Nope. I'm going back to EZ-Flow.

UPDATE: The owner reached out and demonstrated stellar care and concern for our poor experience. A portion of what we paid is being refunded and the amount of goodwill shown is enough to change my rating.

I am impressed with the swift action on the part of the owner and his dedication to righting a poor situation. Thank you Tyler! After 3 attempts to validate the surprising amount of positive reviews, I am having a hard time even giving them a single star.

If you have unlimited disposable income, and enjoy wasting money, call these guys. We haven't even seen any work they've completed recently, because their bids have been anywhere from 20% to 10x more than their competitors, not an exaggeration.

They just tried charging us more to vacuum a coolant line on a mini split, than the unit is worth, brand new. This was the third and final strike against them on us.

We will not consider them at all in future, as the company that used to operate successfully in this area under that name, apparently no longer exists. Do yourself a favor, if it's an AC issue, call Desert Chill, great quality work, fair prices, no shenanigans.

If you have a plumbing problem, there are literally a dozen local options, that won't "case your place" upon arrival and adjust their price on the fly... Had a tankless water heater system along with new water softener and carbon filter system installed.

Shawn from Flush King came to my home to send a camera through the kitchen sink drain. First, he was 35 minutes late to the appointment.

Second, while there, he literally told me to "play the girl card, like you don't know anything about plumbing" to insurance. He told me to lie to insurance and was pushing to start work prior to an insurance claim being filed.

He wanted a restoration team to come out that same day and then claimed work would start the very next day. When we requested Shawn's help with the measurements to start our insurance claim, he texted my personal cell phone at 9pm (also extremely unprofessional) to say, "We don't talk to homeowners insurance companies who aren't doing the work with us".

Which I wasn't asking them to talk to my insurance company at all, and I also never said I didn't want to use them. We simply needed the measurements of where the piping was broken to start our claim.

This company refused to give me measurements on where they found the issue in the pipe, stating that if I was not using them for insurance, they were not going to give me any information. Shawn and Chris were completely unprofessional.

I will be writing to the Better Business Bureau as well. I would definitely not use this company.

Shawn was completely unprofessional, sexist, and late to the appointment. Also, when we relayed Shawn's sexist remarks to the owner, we were told that the the owner does not feel that Shawn was being unprofessional in any way.

The owner Chris appears to show no pride in his company. He lacked professionalism in taking responsibility and would rather protect his employees, deny any wrongdoing, and continue sending out unprofessional, sexist employees than provide customers with quality work.

I have screen shots of the owners original reply claiming we were not customers, however I have the receipt and camera footage they were at my house and working. He then edited the post to try to cover himself.

I also have the comments on video and audio of his worker Shawn, who made sexiest comments. This will be handled further than this review, as the owner continues to try to make this something it is not to try and cover himself and his workers.

I have recorded calls of his receptionist saying he is refusing to talk to me, when I tried to handle this respectfully and privately. I also have him now trying to call me after I put proof on yelp.

How would he have my number if we weren't customers? Chris is very unprofessional. I will provide all the audio, videos, and texts messages where they need to go and ensure that this doesn't happen to someone else again.

We had an outside water line broken by a tree root. They were at the house within an hour and fixed quickly and professionally.

No complaints. Very fast and got the job done! Kids bathroom toilet got clogged.

They fixed it with an auger. Would highly recommend Flush King.

I didn't have the time so they scheduled me a few days out. I asked about pricing and much to my surprise I got a very direct very clear answer.

No hemming and hawing about "well we need to see it first" or "it's tough to say", no shenanigans. They just have me a straight up price.

They arrived when they said they would, they were professional, they did the work for the exact price I was quoted. They didn't try to upsell me, they didn't try to sign me up for some bogus subscription service.

Just an honest company honoring their quote doing quality work at a very fair price. I will be calling them back for any of my plumbing needs.

They snaked my shower drain quickly and got it unclogged. I happen to have had another drain snaked a month prior for nearly DOUBLE the cost.

I have been raked over the coals by plumbers more than a few times. Needless to say I'm apprehensive hiring just any plumber when I need one.

My issue is a slow or non moving kitchen drain. I've had it cleared before (supposedly) and the issue is still there cause they go to the clean out and stop there.

I've gone as far as paying for a camera to see what the issue is. It was a lump of grease and very common.

I had two plumbers out to fix it with hydro jetting as this was the only way to clear the issue. Quote was from $600-2,800 for the whole house.

They recommended the whole thing because the one line could blast it to the whole house. Needless to say I paid for the camera and opted not to do anything and wait until it backed up again.

It did a few weeks later. I decided to go another route and chose Flush King as they weren't fluffing anything and initial quote was $249 and they guaranteed to clear the drain for not a dollar more and of it wasn't an issue it would only be $89 for a trip charge.

The plumber was here quicker then they said. Very nice man.

He diagnosed the issue and before I could ask what it was he cleared it. He told me hydro jetting wasn't needed as he already cleared the main clog with a newer tool that has spinning claws on it to completely clean the tube.

He went ahead and ran it all the way to the front curb just to be sure it was clear the entire way for no additional charge! He was in and out in 30 minutes. No extra BS, no upwelling or trying to get me to do anything else.

Just fixed the issue, went above and beyond, cleaned up, and he was gone. I mean what the heck else could you ask for from a plumber? Honestly, integrity, punctuality, professionalism, great service, clean technician, and delivering exactly what was promised.

I am reluctant to post this review as I am in construction and I work with Don Jones and his family run crew on a daily basis. Reluctant to post because I do not want him to get to busy! Don and the family do great work and you are not going to pay the prices that you see from the other guys who advertise.

I had a very unusual issue - having only cold water throughout my house. I first thought it was the hot water heater so I had a new one installed even though my other one was only 6 years old - by a plumber, Greg Cole who was referred to me by a good friend.

When we realized that did not correct the issue Greg thought the problem could be a cartridge in one of my faucets in the house and he verified that with a few other plumbers that this could be the issue. He also said he thinks it might be the faucet in my master shower or tub because they were installed most recently in a bathroom remodel and they are a different brand (Sigma - sold to me at Arizona Central Supply in Phoenix) than most plumbers are familiar with.

So much so that none of the big plumbing repair companies wouldn't work on it because their plumbers are not familiar enough with them. Greg was booked up and not able to get back to help me for some time so he referred me to Don Jones Plumbing.

Don's son came out and put the new cartridge (I previously ordered) in the shower and it seemed to work. But only briefly.

So I ordered another cartridge for the tub and he and Don did the work on it and got it to work. So awesome as I was without ho water for several months.

This was done apx Jan-Feb 2021. Now it's Nov 4, 2022 and having the same issue.

I now know though from a YouTube video how to test your house to see which faucet has the faulty cartridge. It's the Master tub again.

I ordered the part earlier this week and it's in so I will schedule with Don again. I really like these guys.

I'll write another review after this work is done and also let you know how to test your house to find the faucet that has a broken cartridge, just in case this ever happens to you. Horrible service.

He was asked to go to a property for a BINSR repair. Missed the leak in the leak in an open ceiling.

When I tried to get him scheduled to come out again to repair the leak he told me he was going out there on 3 different occasions and never made it. Now the job needs to be completed today and he still hasnt made it out to the property and hung up on me.

My tub/shower backed up and they were able to come out the next day. Dad is Don Jones, Mike is his son and the one who did my job.

He was quick and efficient and they were so reasonably priced. He was also so incredibly nice, I told him I had tried Draino and he sweetly said he wouldn't recommend that in the future then explained why (because I'm a person who needs to know WHY if I'm going to follow the advice)...

he explained it would harm the surface of my tub and that I had a very nice one and he didn't want the sealant to get ruined then stains develop. I appreciated the extra advice to save me from replacing my tub sooner rather than later.
