Review and analyze now for company Community Plumbing and provide the analysis in the discussed format for the following reviews: '''I called Community Plumbing after having a pinhole water leak in a pipe repaired and was told by another plumber I needed to install a water pressure regulator. Tony and his assistant measured the pressure which was less than I was told originally ( in their defense pressure can change from time to time) and debunked what I was told about my pressure ruining my appliances.
Toni advised that I did not need the regulator and showed me where I could purchase a gage to measure the pressure for myself in the future on Amazon. He also quoted me a price to install the regulator ( should I feel I need it ) which was about $150 cheaper than the original plumber.
Then he proceeded to answer all my questions about moving bathroom fixtures, loved up my dog Louie and when I offered to pay for their time, refused payment. Needless to say I am elated to find a good and honest plumber, as my house is 98 years old .
I have already recommended Community Plumbing to all of my neighbors who like me had not been able to find a reasonable and trusted plumber. Thanks Tony for making my day! I first called another plumber for the toilets in my home that were phantom flushing.
They quoted me way too much and wanted to replace my toilets, which was entirely unnecessary. I called Community Plumbing and had a great experience! They were professional, courteous, and transparent and gave me a much better and more realistic quote for the minor repairs needed.
Everything is now working just fine! Highly recommend them. This was five star service all around.
We had a subpar, leaky shower in a 1901 house. Ugly and the seals finally gave out on it last week and the shower would not shut off.
:( We found Community Plumbing due to the great reviews - they give back to the community and important for us, they had loads of reviews about how they did well with pets. Eric was super responsive and texted us a $2 fix that we could employ until they could get plumbers out and it held up for the needed five or so days.
That sealed the deal to get our business. Appreciate no "free estimate" or "rush fees" here.
Plumbers came yesterday and when we said we would prefer to change the faucet fixture too, they said they needed to come back and were not sure when it would be. They let Eric know that we only had one bathroom and they fit us in the next day.
Very careful and precise work and not overcharged. Our cat is normally skittish with strangers, but she got a brief intro to Ant and Tony yesterday and today it was just business as usual, she sensed animal loving plumbers and spent the day napping, feet from the bathroom, in spite of tile being cut.
She definitely hears well, and comes running for treats. Unfortunately the guys did not have any, so she just napped away, she felt at ease and so did we! The attached picture was taken while the guys were working.
Excellent work, thanks for a job well done. Quality parts, quality work, thanks for a job well done from beginning to end.
Paws up from Guerita and her pet parents. This company was great.
Half the price of my usual plumber, very professional (I loved that he brought his 18 year old daughter on a ridealong. They were a little late but replaced my pressure regulator in short order and hugged my very needy huskies.
I like this company a lot. Honest and good work.
Anthony and Tony were great! I needed four bathroom faucets and a kitchen faucet and disposer replaced. Eric was super quick to return my call about the job, and get it scheduled.
I had called around to a few places, decided to go with Eric and team, and am very happy I did. I would call them again in a heartbeat.
They know their stuff, and worked efficiently to get the job done! Thank you for coming right out and helping with the sink leak. Great communication as far as letting me know when they were on their way.
Explaining the problem, fixing it and then showing me the solution. Very friendly guys and my dog loved them and the attention he got from them.
Great value and very fair pricing. Would highly recommend and use them again.
Clogged kitchen sink. The drain pipes were, so it needed plumbing, not just a snake out.
Easy to schedule and they accomodated my schedule. Arrived at the appointed time, cut the pipes, cleared the drain, and put it back to together.
Tony and his helper/trainee were careful not to damage the cabinets and drain the dirty water and cleaned up after their work. Also gave good advice on using enzymatic drain cleaner to prevent a clog in the future.
Tony and Tony are great. Definitely hire them.
Yelp is making me write more characters, but I don't have a lot of thoughts, so I'll just say again that they're great to work with. They showed up promptly and were super sweet about my yappy aggressive dog.
Very professional I would definitely recommend them Eric and Tony converted our three handle shower to a single handle. I didn't even know this could be done without tearing out the shower! Instead, they made a perfect oval cut to access the supply valves and reconfigure them for a single handle setup.
After they were done, they cleaned up the work area and the shower looked better than ever. I don't know how we got by for over a decade with the three handle approach.
If I would have known how easy this was, I would have done this years ago. They were easy to work with and had some great restaurant recommendations, too! They will be top of mind for future plumbing needs and I definitely recommend them! Great guys, planned around our schedule easily, got special order parts for us and put up with our crazy HOA people who sent 4 overpaid people to supervise a leak inspection.
Patient, clean & friendly I'd give 10 stars if I could. Great guys, great company, really fair price, quality work.
They responded quickly and were able to help me out with installing my gas dryer within hours of contact. Super great experience.
We had a gas water heater that kept dripping from the pressure valve. Another plumber had installed the water heater, and Eric was reluctant to take over someone else's job.
Unfortunately, our previous plumber was unavailable, so Eric accepted the job, and made the time to come at the end of the day, diagnosed the issue, not the pressure valve, but the water regulator for the entire house. Eric quickly replaced the regulator and all was resolved.
He is reliable, skilled and goes the extra mile for his customers. I highly recommend Community Plumbing.
Absolutely amazing people! Eric and Tony are so nice, helpful and responsive. They came in gave me a reasonable price and did the work.
So nice to talk to! I highly recommend! Lu c. Looked for a plumbing company for tankless water heater maintenance.
Eric contacted me & I gave him a call the next day. Told him my info and he very honest with me.
Future plumbing needs, I highly recommend his company! Had a gas line leak and Community Plumbing was able to make it out quickly due a cancellation on another job and get the problem diagnosed and fixed in about a hour. They charged a flat hourly rate and didn't try to push the more expensive but unneeded fix.
Eric and Tony are the best! They have fixed numerous plumbing issues in our apartment and every time have been super prompt, friendly, and reasonably priced. They take the time to explain what's going on and give general plumbing advice on how to avoid issues in the future (if I ever buy a house, I'll know what to look out for in the bathrooms thanks to them!).
Plus they are just a delight to talk to. I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs! These guys are good dudes.
Legit fixed my shower which took the last guy multiple trips. I would highly recommend.
Anthony and Eric were great. Also dad jokes are on point.
I'd call Community Plumbing again in a heartbeat. They know what they're doing, they're honest, and they are fair.
We had a kitchen sink and laundry sink leaking, due to old cast iron pipes. I called community plumbing and within 20 min they showed up and checked out the situation.
They had a cancellation and where able to do the job the next day. Tony & Eric showed up on time, wearing a mask, did a great job working around me running a daycare with little toddlers around and cleaning up afterwards.
Both are very nice and easy to talk to.. We are very happy with the work and can recommend them to anyone looking for a great plumber! So I've never written two reviews on Yelp for the same business, and don't know where else to post review stuff anymore besides yelp(lol).
But I can't say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS. FRIENDLY- and beyond.
These guys will spend however long in your home being super communicative, engaging and nice. Total opposite of the weird creepy feeling you get when you have a stranger in your home that's suddenly searching through your bathroom kitchen toilet etc (ie wierd personal places) Responsive this is the second time I've called with a last minute fiasco and they were able to come out that day without crazy double time fees.
ALSO HUGE BONUS AND FIRST TIME EVER- I had a a 11-1pm arrival window. They showed up at 10:50 (that has NEVER HAPPENED).
Pricing - while their rates have gone up since the last time they did any work- so have everyone else's. And they are still beyond competitive and better than the other business my building uses that screws u over every time (rhymes with plumbing tree).
I live in an old building that is a pain to maintain in every way imaginable, so when one finds a plumber electrician or hvac that is honest affordable reliable AND nice- PRICELESS DONT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE This is the first review I've ever written on Yelp - usually don't have time but this one is an exception. In fact, this is a long overdue review from an August 2020 service call.
Needed a laundry room sink faucet removed and a new one installed. I had already purchased the new faucet from Amazon.
I thought we were getting one plumber - but got two! Tony and Eric were great - on time, courteous, professional and an absolute joy to chat with. They went over and beyond our expectations - even cleaned out the laundry room sink cabinet.
They showed up on time, wearing masks and did a great job. Highly recommended this business and while I do not want any plumbing problems, will definitely reach out to them in the future and encourage others to do the same.
My water heater broke in the night and began leaking profusely from a series of cracks. Eric helped me figure out how to triage the situation before he and Tony were able to even come out and provide service.
They were able to work with some existing funky infrastructure to provide excellent service and a long-term, viable solution. I cannot recommend Community Plumbing more highly! Eric and Tony are the best! Community Plumbing is an excellent, honest company! Eric provided me with valuable insight that allowed me to utilize my product warranty, which saved me over $200.
I then followed up with them to install the parts because of his honesty. They did an excellent job on the installation.
Eric and Tony were quick, clean, and friendly. I'm excited I found a plumbing company I can trust! Eric & Tony provide excellent, prompt, and fairly priced service.
They are friendly and don't try to sell you things you don't need. We've used them several times (for different issues) and they are the best! They explained the situation in a way that I understood and even told me how to avoid the issue in the future.
Now this is how it is supposed to be done. I had a slow draining kitchen sink and weird smells and starting panicking that I was going to have a plumbing emergency.
I called Community Plumbing and let me say I got five star treatment. I scheduled an appointment and Tony and Eric showed up on time.
They educated me about my Plumbing and they fixed my problem quickly and without making a mess. I was charged a fair price and I will not hesitate to call them again for future Plumbing issues...
Which in This Old House I am destined to have. Tony and Eric installed our new water heater, it's a thing of beauty! Tony and Eric were awesome.
We just bought a new house and there were major issues with the sewer pipe - it was the original 100 year old cast iron. They got it out in 2 days, and also tossed a bunch of junk under the house leftover from previous work.
They also moved a toilet to a better location in the bathroom, and overall did a great job. When I found the master shower was clogged, Tony came back and snaked it.
These guys rock, and you should hire them. They also have great local food recommendations too! A huge shoutout to Community Plumbing.
The 2 gentlemen not only fixed my running toilet, they did not charge me anything! I'm a lifetime customer!!! Thank you Community Plumbing!!!!! Eric and Tony did an amazing job on a Maine line sewer replacement! They are very knowledgeable, super friendly, understanding on the scope of work and able to make expert recommendations to complete the job. Without a doubt hire these professionals! I use Eric and Tony for all my plumbing needs.
They just helped with my kitchen remodel by replacing the plumbing for my sink and refrigerator. They're great guys and reasonably priced.
I wouldn't use anybody else. Communicated through Yelp and they showed up to complete the job.
I have a newborn and it was my tenants sink that needed work. They worked with me to make it as easy as possible.
I've hired Eric and Anthony a number of times now for a variety of jobs (water heater, toilet issues, kitchen faucets, and even swapping out old shower fixtures with new ones, etc.) at our small apartment complex. Not only are they always prompt, courteous, communicative, professional, and knowledgeable, they are always absolutely diligent about finding ways to provide the highest value for the service.
For example, they recently swapped out shower valves that were installed during the Cretaceous period which normally would have required cutting into the shower wall through the backside. Well, because they are always thinking on my behalf and didn't want to stick me with having to hire a plasterer to patch and repaint the wall, they put their noggins together and came up with a way to cut into the old school tile (pre-Cambrian) from the front side and install the kind of shower valve that will make future maintenance easier and less costly.
Plus, they applied what they learned in one unit to another unit shortly thereafter. Both shower stalls look amazing, and without all the mess and expense of extensive patchwork afterwards.
And this is simply what they do day in and day out...help homeowners by solving their plumbing issues creatively and cost-effectively for the short- and long-term. These guys are simply top-notch.
And if you hire them, you might even get a sighting of one of the more nifty mustaches you'll ever see this side of a Thievery Corporation concert. Eric has been servicing my rental homes here in San Diego for a couple years now and I am beyond thrilled with my experience.
Great communication, FAST, and very fair prices. So glad I found a long-term relationship with this company! Highly recommended! Very cost-efficient, skilled, and efficient plumbers! They were extremely helpful.
I am extremely grateful to Community Plumbing for truly embodying their mission statement of providing good, honest work. After incurring issue after issue and dealing with faulty contractors, I was on a last leg of hope when I happened upon the Yelp page for Community Plumbing.
Because of their mission statement, I conjured up my last bit of hope and trust and contacted them. To my pleasant surprise, Eric and Tony were able to arrive at my home 15 min after the call, provide a quote, and fully address the leak in my main water line within the hour.
As a result, I entrusted Eric and Tony with replacing the hose line as well, and the job was done within an hour as well. At the end of the job, there was no bait and switch, and the final cost was very close to the quote that was provided.
Finally, they took the time to replace any rocks in my landscaping that were moved to truly make the entire experience as wonderful as a plumbing issue could be. If you require a plumber and would like the work to be done right, then do not hesitate to contact Community Plumbing! They showed up on time and kept me updated on the project as they figured out what was wrong with my broken toilet.
The pricing was fair and they were very personable. Would definitely hire again! Great plumbers! I tried to DIY a leaky faucet and after a day of trying I called community plumbing.
They told me what to buy and they fixed the faucet in under an hour. Very skilled and knowledgeable plumbers with a lighter side too.
Highly recommended--I'll be calling them for any future plumbing needs. Great communication and service.
Had Eric and Tony replace our garbage disposal, and a water heater the next week. Solid work.
My sink and garbage disposal clogged in the evening time when I was making dinner. It wasn't really an emergency so I made an appt with a big name company here in San Diego (ASI) but the appt window wasn't until 2-4.
The next morning the standing water in the sink was so gross and my whole condo smelled. I called around to a few different places and left a voicemail for these guys and luckily they called me back and said they could come out by noon.
I was thrilled. They arrived a little early, were super personable and pretty much told me the issue and their rates ..
165 an hour which is competitive. They estimated about 200 bucks for my clogged drain.
They worked very fast and I could tell they have a lot of plumbing experience. I even got some tips on how to keep my drains clear and running smoothly.
It ended up being 175. I Am so happy with these guys and would highly recommend! I'm so glad they decided to take this job! My dog loved them and he is obviously the best judge of character.
Sadly as a woman it can always be a little intimidating to hire someone to come do work because you worry about so many things like being talked down to or ripped off but not the case with these guys !! Would 100% recommend ! Eric and Tony have been awesome to work with. They are professional, pay attention to detail, & cleaned up after themselves.
When remodeling our bathroom they recommended that we open our concrete floors and replace the cast iron pipes before spending the money on the remodel. As much as I hated to do it I really appreciated that the recommendation.
The pipes were completely rusted. Eric saved us the nightmare of having to tear up a newly installed bathroom floor.
Since the first job I've had them back to replace a hot water heater and run gas lines for our central heating and air install. The work was done quickly and correctly.
Price was fair. I highly recommend these guys.
Great work I've been seeing these guys too much lately! First a leaky toilet, then my kitchen drain clogged up. Too much staying home cooking I guess.
. As before they showed up within a few hours.
Wearing gloves and cleaned all their equipment before bringing it in my house. Had it unclogged within a few minutes.
Can't say enough good things about Tony and Eric. And my cat likes them! That's always a plus! I would highly recommend Community Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.
If you read nothing else: Hire Tony and Eric at Community Plumbing. Respectful.
Prompt. The best relationships are based on clear, concise and honest communication.
Tony and Eric - huge check mark on that. They returned the call within an hour.
They showed up when they said they would. They were clean and polite, always.
They got straight to work and didn't try to scare me with big concerns that they didn't know yet. My "contractor" didn't do the plumbing properly.
It's squirrley. Yet Tony and Eric found a way to clear the blockage without taking off the toilet.
LESS MESS :) They also fixed my shower heat leveler at the same time!!! Couldn't ask for more honest and respectful plumbers. #lovinglocalsd These guys are awesome.
They were able to fit me in on a same day appt on a Friday and fixed not only the original shower that had an issue but our upstairs shower as well! All for a very fair price. Oh and as a bonus, or frenchie who normally doesn't like strangers totally took to them both :) the work is Choncho approved.
These guys are awesome! We had a toilet back up and overflow in one of our units in our apartment building. Eric and his partner (John?) arrived within half an hour of our after hours call.
They were very friendly, efficient and got the job done at a fair price. These guys have been friends since elementary school and it shows.
A real pleasure to work with. My partner Mike and I definitely will use them again and recommend Community Plumbing to anyone who has a plumbing issue.
Eric and his team were great! I called them, left a message explaining the problem I was having with my garbage disposal, they called me back a few hours later and gave me an easy fix to try over the phone and it worked! Will definitely use them again for any future issues. Highly recommend! Eric has been so helpful with managing my new home.
Right when I moved in, we had a plumbing issue where our main sewer line was clogged. He came by the house within a couple days of me calling him and put a snake through our drainage system.
Ever since he completely his job, we have had no other issues with our drainage since. He is very informative and does not use any jargon to confuse or worry his customers.
He is an honest man and does not up-charge on unnecessary tasks. He has earned my trust as a respectable plumber and I would not hesitate to call him again should any issues arise.
He is now my "go to" plumber. Tony and Eric showed up and fixed my shower pronto.
Funny guys with good stories. They also discovered that our water heater was shedding debris into our pipes.
I'll be calling them back to install the replacement! I needed the cast iron sewer main replaced, and learned about Community Plumbing from friends I trust, and learned later that they also did work for other people around my neighborhood. Eric, Tony, and Ant were no-nonsense.
They were honest about the average work that goes into the job (digging, cutting, materials, labor) and what could possibly go wrong to make the job more difficult. Luckily, nothing went wrong, and they even found that some of the work had been done by a previous owner at some point, so the cost was lower than I'd expected.
These guys are fantastic, and they're my new plumbers! Whenever I have a plumbing issue in our house or in my in-laws' house, I immediately give Eric and Tony a call. We've been using them exclusively for five years or so.
They live in my neighborhood, they specialize in old houses, and they're great guys. They have done big projects and little projects for us.
They've even vouched for my plumbing work when my wife was not impressed with what I had done. When my in-laws' kitchen faucet suddenly stopped working, I texted them to come over, and Eric responded that he was on vacation, but then took time away from his vacation to diagnose the problem over text so that I was able to fix it myself.
I recommend them to anyone who asks for a plumber. In fact, they're the guys I ask when I need recommendations for non-plumbing related repairs in our house.
Eric and Anthony just left our house a couple of hours ago after taking care of a valve issue, water pressure issue, and kitchen sink faucet installation. I was honestly so impressed with everything that I had to write a review while everything was still fresh in my mind.
1) Speedy response - Eric was one of the first plumbers to respond to me out of several that I had contacted and gave me a rough estimate of what I could expect without any hassle. The other guys were either twice the price, sent a canned response, or told me it was impossible to give an estimate without seeing the issue first.
Eric took the time out to speak to me on the phone about what the issues were and was confident he could fix our issues, giving us a very reasonable price estimate. 2) Punctual - Eric and Anthony texted me 30 minutes before they arrived, per my request, and showed up right around the time they said they would.
3) Knowledgeable, speedy, and hilarious - these guys finished everything under 2.5 hours even with us having to wait here and there for maintenance to turn the water on/off. Their work was impeccable, and you could tell they really knew what they were doing.
The cherry on top of this is that they were absolutely hysterical, and we had a blast hanging out with them. Don't let the number of reviews deter you - there's a reason these guys are 5 stars across the board.
I know I sometimes get nervous going with companies unless they've got a TON of reviews, but my gut told me these guys were the real deal, and luckily, I was right. :) Any future plumbing issues we ever have, we will DEFINITELY be calling these guys.
Thank you guys for making a potentially stressful afternoon an absolute delight! I very rarely leave bad reviews. I'm a property manager who double checks what contractors say.
I needed to pressure check my gas line. These guys went under my house and said that the gas line was really old metal pipe that was covered in black tape and "couldn't see where it was leaking" so "the ENTIRE house piping needed to be replaced." They originally said $3-5K to repipe the house and dig a trench.
Then it went up to $8-10K after looking at the house. I ended up going under and verified that the pipe has NOTHING covering it.
You could definitely find a leak if you tried. So they completely lied and tried to be manipulative over email.
I just feel bad for others who need plumbing because if you don't know how to check for yourself you could easily fall for what they're saying and pay an outrageous price. I'm getting everything done for less than $2K.
I'm sorry but I'm not happy being lied to. A team of two showed up.
They seemed knowledgeable and straightened out several small problems. These guys gave me great advice about a complicated repair situation.
Really stand-up people who provided honest advice even though it might not have been in their economic interest to do so. Strongly recommend.
The guys at Community Plumbing are the best! They are very professional and knowledgeable! This is the second time they have come to my home and the quality of their work is great and the prices are reasonable! Thank you Community Plumbing! Had these guys out months ago, haven't been on Yelp in awhile but had to give them a shout-out. We've had a lot of plumbing problems over the years, had a lot of companies out here to fix them.
When we had the last big issue we had a company out here that wanted to completely redo our pipes, which was a massive expense. We decided to get another bid, which was Community Plumbing.
They came out and offered to do it for almost half. Here's the real kicker, once they got started they found that the previous bidder had overestimated the amount of work we needed.
They ended up only fixing what needed fixing and it was a fraction of what the initial bid was. These guys earned my trust, the most honest plumbers I have ever worked with.
Hire them. These guys are the absolute best.
Came out late evening to resolve our plumbing problem. Super down to earth, efficient, reasonably priced and hilarious.
They helped us out of our sh*t%y situation. I now have a go to plumber.
Thanks guys. I have a rental home in San Diego and I used Community Plumbing to replace three outdoor faucets that were leaking.
They were super easy to schedule and very reasonable in their pricing. While they were there they helped identify a few other issues with some of the lawn irrigation systems and came back out to fix those as well.
Again, very reasonable, professional, and I would definitely recommend using them! We were in need of a new water heater in the house we just bought in Mission Hills. Eric was extremely fast to respond, on time and was the most reasonable of the three estimates we received for our project.
In addition, Eric and Tony took care of a number if other issues our home inspector had found during escrow. No up selling whatsoever and super fair pricing.
They finished in one day and exactly what they quoted. Just a fantastic and professional company to work with.
Recommend them without reservation. My toilet tank wasn't filling with water so Eric and Tony quickly assessed the situation and removed an unnecessary part for free! They were courteous and responsive so I will definitely bookmark and call for any future plumbing issues.
We had 3 bathroom faucets that looked fine when we first moved in but 2 years later, they had corroded and were beaten up by the hard water. The style of faucet also spattered and dripped water all over the place causing damage to the baseboards closest to the sink.
Two of the sinks had temporary accordion plumbing down below so we wanted those replaced with more permanent piping. Community Plumbing seemed to be a neighborhood favorite on Nextdoor so I reached out.
Eric returned my call in between jobs and was helpful and friendly over the phone. I followed up with photos of the faucets and Eric was helpful in suggesting brands and finishes that would better handle hard water.
This helped narrow my search for replacement faucets. Once ordered, I was able to get an appointment on the books.
Days before the appointment, Eric reached out explaining that a job they were on took a bit of turn and would require more time than originally anticipated so said we'd have to reschedule for the following week. I was bummed we had to reschedule but understood.
Something to keep in mind is that Eric & Tony are a two man show so texting, calls and more administrative tasks happen in between jobs. All this to say that if you don't hear back right away, just be patient as they will get back to you as soon as they can! I just think this is helpful to keep in mind.
The benefit is that Eric & Tony take a lot of pride in the quality of their work. They are really amazing at managing expectations and ultimately over delivering.
They work together brilliantly and the outcome speaks to that. I requested they wear booties in addition to wearing masks and they didn't even bat an eye at the request.
They even took care in cleaning old build up from the previous faucet and offered maintenance tips. They were super respectful of our little space.
On top of all of this, the price was reasonable and I appreciated how engaging they were. I'm attaching photos of the before and after.
I will definitely be reaching out to Community Plumbing (Eric & Tony) for all things plumbing going forward! Beautful work! They showed up on time?they appeared to be friendly people. But job was pretty sloppy.
Equipments did not work well and did not prep job before they snaked the pipe? end up with scratching my brand new tiles. And left the area with dirty debris and water.
Cost was more than I anticipated?anticipated especially no clear solution or address the issue. I got another guys and they did much better assessments and suggestions what I should do for fixing the issue.
I am not sure why they can get such a good rate on Yelp. Can't say enough good stuff about community plumbing.
Eric and Tony are great guys and even better plumbers. I highly recommend community plumbing for any job.
I received a text prior to their arrival and they were able to complete the job quickly. Will be calling them for all future plumbing needs.
Eric was timely, professional, and fixed my plumbing issue in an hour. You definitely get what you pay for and he's a great example! I usually try to do small jobs myself.
I needed a plumber to make sure there were no leaks in my bathroom after a inspection for a refi home loan. I called Community after seeing their Yelp reviews.
They were local and I needed a quick turnaround. They came the next day.
I imagine they could have turned this into a huge project to make money since I needed their service for the refi. I was really happy that they quickly found that their was a minor issue with the tube and the toilet needed a new wax ring.
Great guys really polite and clean. This is a huge relief and was way less then I thought it would be.
Trust them to do a good job and not take you to the cleaners. Thank you so much Community Plumbing!! The provide a great value and exceptional service.
They were on time, quoted accurately, and performed the work very efficiently. Highly recommend.
Prompt response to my service inquiry from the owner Eric. Was up front about his schedule availability, but gave his assessment of my issue and a recommendation of another plumbing company he endorsed to do good honest work.
I'll submit a follow up as to how that went, but sincerely appreciate his effort to take the extra step to find me immediate help. Thanks Eric! Sooooo ....
I have to preface this by saying I'm pretty handy when it comes to most things. I've been paid to do drywall, tile and a few other items around my own and others properties.
But plumbing and electrical are animals that even as a professional can cause stress. These things can burn or flood your home to levels of bankruptcy!!! I recently thought I had a simple situation handled only to go down a rabbit hole of chaos.
COMMUNITY PLUMBING SAVED MY RUMP. I cannot stress the relief from arrival to a week later caressing my pipes that were once constantly mimicking my tears to dry as the newest lewis black comedy.
You want your pipes handled with DeNiro care, firm, fair and handled then you've found your plumbers. Oh man, these guys are still my mother walkin' heroes! 5pm on a Tuesday afternoon: Literally out of nowhere, whenever we would let the water run--in anything--the pipes in my house rattled so loudly it sounded like a freight train was pulling a steam shovel right down the full length of my hallway.
My teeth were nearly chattering from the vibration that was going on in my floors and walls. It was so bad that I would have been totally freaking out had I not known that I had an ace in my pocket.
5:15pm: Wearing a filthy tyvek suit, digging around in the crawlspace under my house, I can't figure it out. The best I could guess was that a poltergeist had settled in, so I decided to pull out that ace and call up Community Plumbing.
Just like when I hired these guys six months ago, Eric answers the phone. Greatest guy you ever talked to on the other side of a plumbing house call.
'Yeah', he says, 'we can come out.' 'When', I ask. 'Today, like right now, 'cause if we don't we're busy the next couple of days.
In fact Tony--the other one--is in the area, and he'll be right over.' Eric says he'll come over, too. We hang up, and at about 5:30pm the cavalry arrives.
It feels like the car from the Ghostbusters is pulling up in front of my house. Community Plumbing, the big white truck says, and I believe every word of it.
I'm expecting just Eric and Tony, but another guy's there, too. My first thought was: awesome, business is so great for these guys that they're multiplying.
So happy; they deserve every bit of it. After I noticed all three were now wearing identical black Doc Martens, I squinted to see what name the new guy had embroidered on the patch of his shirt.
I was half expecting it would be either Spengler, Venkman, or Stantz. Nope, it was 'Ant'.
Close enough, I guess. They got to work, figured it out quick, and didn't even come close to raking me over the coals.
I was again so happy with them that I booked them to come out again next week for some preventative maintenance I have been wanting to do for a while now. I'm telling you, these guys have class in spades and a price that is way more than fair considering their combined body of knowledge.
After everything was wrapped up we all said goodbye, and I quickly put that ace back in my pocket for the next time it sounds like the world is falling apart. I just hope the guys at Community Plumbing don't decide to leave San Diego before it does.
Eric and Tony did an awesome job, they showed up on time and tried their absolute best to fix the problem with a simple solution instead of replacing the hole valve and then have to deal with fixing the wall,, they spent a full hour trying and they got it done.Honest guys with great sense of humor, I highly recommend them. Didn't use the company service.
However posted a picture of my issue and Eric told me how to fix it. Eric saved me $200 by telling me exactly what I need to do I'm very happy with community plumbing and trust their company.
Tony & his son came by to make modifications to my gas line for my new stove and did a great job! After they left I discovered the flex gas line that came with the new stove was configured for 5/8" and not the 1/2" line that I needed. I called Tony, he stopped by and gave me the 1/2" fitting I needed for my hook-up.
Thanks again...and great job! I had an impossible faucet to mount in my 100 year old house with 1970's pipes and after trying my hand at plumbing, not recommended btw, I called my Community Plumber. I am delighted! It could not have come out better! These guys are awesome, had an issue where hot water wasn't getting to one of my showers but was still available to all other places.
Called on a Tuesday and they setup an appointment for the next day. Unfortunately I couldn't take it due to HOA rules, but they basically gave me the first appointment possible that complied with regulations.
They showed up on time and corrected the issue, then upon testing found a problem with the exit spout, which they went ahead and fixed since they were already there. Super quick, efficient, and very reasonably priced.
I will be calling these guys first with any plumbing concerns in the future. Can't say enough good things about Community Plumbing.
Eric, Tony, and Anthony are great! We had a leak on our main line underneath the sidewalk. After jackhammering the concrete in 90+ degree weather, the guys got to the leak and worked some magic to repair the damage with minimal disruption.
Not only was the work done on time, the advice from the team helped me understand why the leak happened in the first place. Would not hesitate to hire them again.
The guys at community plumbing are the best. Really helpful, and helped us out with some urgent stuff last minute without batting an eye.
I highly recommend them, and wouldn't ever call anyone else. You've found your plumber, trust me! Had a good experience today with Community Plumbing.
They were the lowest of 5 quotes I requested and came r my place and fill let themselves in. I'm military and couldn't be there but they provided phone updates a photos.
Promo and courteous service, will definitely have them on speed dial for the future. Thanks! We have had a drain in the bath tube that had been giving us issues for years and the previous company that came in stopped the leaking (for a while) but didn't resolve the issue with how hard it was to turn the drain on/off.
We simply got used to the inconvenience. However, when the guys from Community Plumbing came in they figured out the issue for the leaking right away and also fixed the issue with the on/off mechanism.
Now it is very easy to turn the water on / off. I really love how friendly and how good of an attitude these guys had.
I definitely recommend them. Really happy with their service and flexibility My house was built in the 1920's so some of the plumbing issues I had were a bit unique...
They were great in their service and fair in their pricing. Thanks!! In n Out Boom! My shower had been leaking for months, not any more! The guys were friendly and fast (and clean!) I have a new plumber!'''.
